The Old Ways Return
Event Plot:
There has been a surge of spirit attacks across Mungu Island in recent weeks. Several small outposts have been completely decimated and the death toll has risen into the dozens. Shah Anwar al-Nishat—ruler of Suraja—has sent soldiers to the island in hopes of suppressing the attacks but to no avail.
Left with few other choices, Shah al-Nishat has requested outside assistance from the Runic University, the Hunters Guild, and even Magi, with the promise of a substantial reward. Indeed, anyone with the skill and willingness to help has been called to the island in hopes that they might stop the threat.
Rules:
1) Death is a very real possibility during this event. These spirits are powerful and thus an extremely dangerous threat. Good RP and teamwork will be essential for survival.
2) This is a CLOSED EVENT. Meaning that there’s a limited number of spots available for signups.
Max Players: 8
Only eight slots are available, four of which must be filled by Magi characters. The remaining four slots will be filled by either cyborgs or humans. Each of these eight slots are on a first come, first serve basis.
3) There will be four groups, each with one magi and one human/cyborg. Yes, there will be friction and you might be paired with someone you don't like, but bear in mind that you'll be fighting a very powerful spirit. Perhaps you could put your differences aside?
These groups will be random generated to avoid favoritism. The skip rule will also be implemented, meaning that you may be skipped if within 48 hours of your turn coming up.
4) The opening staff post that will begin each individual thread will detail the circumstances and enemy for each pair.
5) Sign up's last until the spots are filled. By posting below with the character you want to join the event. You are only allowed one Character per Member. So Rinny, for instance, would not be allowed to sign up Emiko, Elijah, and Oliver. She would have to choose only one.
Rewards
- One Guaranteed Event Point for each participant.
- $100 to all survivors.
