FRIENDS A strong sense of morals, a good heart and an honest demeanor is what appeals to Eraya in a person. Someone with strength of character, who stands up for good ideals, or someone who is plain nice, will all garner a positive look from Eraya. Eraya also doesn't really discriminate with races, Magi or Cyborg, but she tends to be less trusting of them and prefers to keep distance more for their safety than hers. However, despite all of that, it can be somewhat difficult for Eraya to accept someone as a friend as she reflexively keeps everyone at a distance, so it might take some time, and continued effort, before Eraya begins to accept a person as a friend. And once that happens, she can be fiercely protective of someone she considers as such. Confusingly enough, Eraya also takes a liking to people with somewhat opposing ideas, but with the right goals. Someone who can challenge her views and make her think, or expand her horizons in views. She admires bravery, kindness, honesty, intelligence and a sense of justice. ENEMIES Similar to gaining her affection, gaining her distrust is also not very easy to do. But being cruel, racist or otherwise just a sod of a person can make Eraya see someone negatively. The worse of an opinion Eraya holds about someone, the colder she will be to that person, with no outright hostility but a definitely curt edge to her words. She is never one to be rude to someone without reasons prior, nor does she often add to conflict. Rarely will she ever openly, and aggressively, oppose someone, but that is when someone's life is threatened or if something manages to get under Eraya's patient, distant demeanor. She rejects cruelty, rudeness, deceitfulness, blind faith and racism. LOVERS Eraya has never been one to really look for romantic intimacy or affection. She, of course, has a small desire to have a companion who can understand her, around whom she can let her shields down and just be herself. It's a small desire, but a powerful one, ever present in the back of her mind. Anyone who matches her personality traits or continues to show time and time again to be reliable and a good person will garner Eraya's affection. She holds people who do something without expecting anything in return highly. Someone who is also very calm yet strong, patient and understanding will attract Eraya. But, like all of her interpersonal interactions, Eraya will keep it at a distance until it gets strong enough or is persisted long enough. She can form an attachment to someone without even realizing it herself when someone shows signs of affection towards her. Physically, she is attracted to Men, taller than her and who aren't unhealthy. She doesn't have much other preferences when it comes to physical aspects, but she likes it when they have some muscle definition. Mentally, she is attracted to strength of character, honesty, someone who is willing to care and learn, someone who shows affection towards her but not overly so. Someone who helps others without reason aside from it being the good thing to do. Aside from romantic interest, Eraya does not mind casual sex either. If she finds someone attractive enough to her, and somewhat likeable, she would not mind spending the night with them. However, this doesn't mean she'd sleep with anyone and everyone she meets. It depends on how the relationship between her and the individual develops. |

Alright so, I have two characters that could possibly thread with you. My third baby would pretty much never come into contact with you (because he's a leader in the magi liberation movement). If they met there'd be gunfire XD
Oliver.

He's technically a government employee. Oliver is a representative of the government working in the Hunter's Guild. The goal at the time had been to give at least the illusion of the Government having more control over the Hunters for the public eye, if not aiming to have actual more control. In the process Oliver realized that under the blanket of the Hunters and rise of racism he could pretty much get away with killing people (magi) without being punished for it as long as he claimed they were terrorists. So he's not racist but he's taking advantage of other's prejudice.
At the end of the day he's become more loyal to the hunter's guild than the government and is very religiously thankful to the Huntress (the goddess of the hunt, Kalidas).
I don't know what exactly you had planned for your bae but the thought occurred to me that perhaps your lass could be my lad's boss. Perhaps she could possibly see through some of his facade over the years? Or they could have been friends with bens in the past? Status report meetings? Let me know of ye thoughts. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, totally fine obvs.

Oliver seems to be a very interesting person to thread with as I'm seeing a looooot of plot ideas between him and my character.
I'm thinking they could have been friends with bens earlier on before Eraya went off to train to join the Sniper Corps, and then fast forward a few years to present day, she's been tasked in the office to be his supervising officer. I feel like that would create a good dynamic as I'm sure both of them have changed greatly over the years. I'm feeling like they could continue to be close friends until Eraya slowly realizes how he's changed, since she has a distaste for the Hunters, and then have sort of a Friends-but-enemies relation.
We can discuss how to start off a thread to reunite the two as old friends, and then work our way from there.

I honestly have no specific plans for between these two characters but I figured I'd throw her at you just in case we thought of something as time went on. Emi is a lovely lesbian so maybe there could be a "nnnnno thank you" moment at a bar? Emiko is a professor at the Runic University so if Eraya has a feeling something fishy is going on there (which there is) maybe she could try to get somewhere with Emi? Since most likely there would be no real looksie into the University since, more than likely, the highest ranking and most influential members of the military probably graduated in some part from the Uni or are getting paid off by the Uni. Hooray for corruption~

Okay so I have Audrey, Taran, Samuel and Dehlia. They're all magi positive, and they're all fairly easy to get along with.
That said, the two I can see getting along with Eraya would be Audrey and Samuel. Samuel's thinking is logic based. His logic. Sometimes his weird logic. He can seem a bit socially awkward as a result. However he is a cop and they'd probably have some things in common. He has strong morals and works towards magi equality.
Audrey is a mercenary cyborg originally from Fokradiin. Her parents were killed by hunters because one of them was magi. His arms were also taken away in the same incident. She was trained at Victor's Military Academy, and now she's in Ethea and enjoys a really good beer. I honestly think they could get along really well. Maybe even be drinking buddies?

As for their relation, it depends on where Emiko falls concerning the fishy activities ongoing within the university, but aside from that, they could have a generally friendly relation though I don't see them getting too close unless a good amount of time passes. They could have a lot of cooperation between them later on if Eraya ever decides to investigate in on the activities at the university, and I feel like they could also be some form of acquaintances as Eraya can call on Emi for certain information seeing as she's a professor, while Emi can call on Eraya for other kinds of help, either involving danger or classified information. |

I've already reached out to the other cops/detectives, as anyone in law enforcement would definitely get along with Eraya, provided they're not corrupt or cruel. And again, it's good to have a contact in law enforcement and vice versa, in the military. They can definitely find themselves working together at points or just sharing information or being friendly with each other. Only problem is I have no ideas on how they should start, so if you have any ideas, hit me with em. Audrey would definitely get along really well with Eraya in terms of synergy, more so than most others. She basically weighs out the opposite end of Eraya, being impulsive and brash where as Eraya is more calm and collected. Another great synergy is how Audrey specializes in close combat with melee weaponry since Eraya is weakest at close range, preferring to use firearms or, if the situation allows, her trusty sniper rifle. If combat ever arises, I can see them being a very effective pair when teamed up. And of course, a drinking buddy is always welcome. Eraya could also be somewhat of an elder-sisterly figure to Audrey, given their synergy but vastly different personalities. She could perhaps help Audrey temper her impulses, or steady her mind more. Perhaps training partners for hand-to-hand? Since Eraya, while bad at weapon melee, has some form of knowledge of hand-to-hand martial arts? |

Eraya Valentine Okay so here we go, prepare for the madness. *clears throat* Kaveri - Kaveri Dali , is a lovely water magi priest of joy and happiness (with some sass and rainbows). He would probably want to teach her how to swim because if you can't swim that is a sin against nature. I think those two might get along in general as long as there isnt violence happening around or the like. River - Enki River , he is a hunter currently---so they might not get along due to that and he is a bit on the racist side for his own personal reasons. But he is pretty laid back, a bit lazy and sleeps------------ A LOT. But he is also mute so I am not sure where they might fall. Maybe friend/enemy ish? Iriel - @iriel , A lovely Cyborg who has just ran away from his master and thus this lovely slave has his first taste of freedom!! Um, but he is overly curious and love to learn as well as take things apart. Because, well, thats fun for him and he likes to try and rebuild them as well as improve on the design. However, he can't read and he can't write lol. Hes very----head tilitish Sterling - Sterling Quinn , then there is this fire magi stripping asshole. yep, hes an asshole. racist as hell. loud. foul. Um, love fighting and yeah---these two might not get along unless he's drunk?

Eraya hates bodies of water. She has a phobia concerning them, and will avoid anything (or anyone) that presents her a danger of drowning. Also, the fact that he's a magi, despite Eraya not being racist, means that Eraya would want to maintain a distance, doubly so because Kaveri is such a nice, good hearted person, something Eraya would admire greatly. It's due to the fact that, Eraya puts her duty before her personal relations, and she never wants to be faced with a decision where she has to attempt to kill someone she is friends with. But, the possibility exists that Kaveri can become friends with Eraya, helping her come to terms with her past since Eraya has a lot of self-inflicted metaphorical wounds from her regrets and from her constantly blaming herself. But teaching her to swim is out of the picture, as Eraya would deflect any and every opportunity that Kaveri would offer to teach. She simply fears drowning far too much to be sensible when it is concerned. River, I know for a fact, would not get along with Eraya. Despite his somewhat likeable personality, the fact that he is a hunter and slightly racist, would mean that Eraya would automatically be quite cold with him. Given her job, she might have to work with him or help him or accept his help, but she will keep that strictly work-related and refuse to warm up to him, unless given enough reason to see him in a better light. All in all, I doubt she would consider him an enemy, but she would definitely not consider him a friend easily, if at all. Iriel; Eraya will take a liking to him. She has a very protective nature and will definitely see it as her duty to take him under her wing. They have a good chance of becoming friends, and given enough time, Iriel could work together with Eraya to improve her equipment or etc, while Eraya could help teach him how to read and write, or just generally help teach him how to defend himself. Iriel could be the Alfred to Eraya's Batman, in a way, helping her in various ways while Eraya would definitely want to look over him. Sterling, I can see them being quite antagonistic towards each other, seeing as how Sterling hates humans and Eraya is human and hates racists. I doubt it would get to violence, as Eraya rarely ever resorts to violence first, nor is she likely to really piss off Sterling with words, but there would definitely be animosity between them. Small possibility of them having a grudging respect for each other also exists, since both of them are very capable and willful individuals, but it wouldn't be enough for them to be friendly with each other. |

River and Eraya would hate each other but would not be able to do anything about it aside from harsh, indirect insults because of their respective positions. Sterling probably has a chance to become somewhat violent against Eraya if he ever finds out that Eraya did take part in the Magi Genocide and did kill numerous Magi, regardless of how much she hates herself for that action. But it depends on how much he 'cares' about fellow magi. I know Iriel would still wanna mess with her stuff, but granted, Eraya is very strict when she needs to be, so I'm sure she can hold Iriel in line. And yes Kaveri's input would definitely help her. I don't think he'd see her duty-over-life thing in a good way, and again, if he finds her involvement in the genocide, there's definitely going to be some drama. |

Aiden Garnette A dishonored hunter eh? Interesting, verrry interesting. Especially one who has had involvement during the Genocide. It'll definitely bring in some interesting interactions when that topic is raised, as Aiden went against his order to help the Magi while Eraya went against her morals to follow orders, taking lives in the process. They have similar traits, so they'll get along positively, but you are right to assume he will get on her nerves now and then. However, once Eraya sees that its not him going out of his way to be rude and it's simply the way he talks, she'll get used to it and accept him with more patience. Maybe even return the words, since Eraya does enjoy a bit of banter here and there, as long as it's not during something important. Friends definitely, with quite a dynamic relationship that could potentially lead to very dramatic, character-shaking interactions if the aforementioned details of the genocide ever get breached.
