Beware: Aiden is on the Hunter's Guild's Wanted List for killing 8-10 hunters and rescuing multiple Magi from execution during the breakout. All Hunters would probably know his information and have standing orders to either capture or kill him. |
FRIENDS A friend to Aiden is someone who can tolerate and or goes along well with his snarky demeanor, steps gracefully around his ego, and break through his aloofness. Of course, that his idealized someone. A friend could be someone who simply sticks it through with Aiden and undermines his ego and snark with playful, light banter. A friend could just be a person who can tolerate the occasional cutting remarks to be the person who helps Aiden when he over-extends himself, figuring those times and feelings won't go un-reciprocated. Really, there are multiple ways to befriend Aiden, it just takes a bit of working around where each of them stands on things. If there is chemistry, Aiden can be a true, compassionate, and supportive ally. ENEMIES Aside from the obvious things that will land you on Aiden's blacklist, he more or less is bound to make people apathetic rather than hateful in person. His arrogance can rub people the wrong way, he's shameless, un-tempered, and can become altogether unreasonable at times. More importantly however is the political and interpersonal side of things. Aiden may probably bulk at the people who are quick to get into arguments and quit whenever the world doesn't go their direction. LOVERS Romance is a much harder topic for Aiden to talk about. Aiden can be quite lewd, behave perversely at times, and flirt on a rare occasion. Serious dating and/or commitment are things that Aiden would be averse to or at least would have some reservations over. Talking to people about his feelings and emotions isn't something Aiden does on a daily basis, except with people he truly feels understand him. If you're truly persistent, then Aiden may just very well end up giving in too. |

He and Jeni could be friends. I could see them bonding over music and stuff.
The Hunter though.... I forgot to put this up before, but I did just now leave a note about that at the top. Since Aiden is dishonored hunter, most hunters will know who he is and what he's done.

Alrighty than. We can do a thread with whichever one you choose. I'll let you know though in a little while when I have a thread open. I have three threads already planned and for the time being that will be my limit for threads all at once.
Umbrage or Jeni seem like they'd be fun. I could see Jeni and Aiden bonding over some cool things like music that they have in common while I could see Aiden and Umbrage playfully sparring (?) or something else of the sort. I'm open so if you have any ideas, feel free to PM me.

Sterling X Aiden - I'm not sure how he would feel about a hot headed/human hating magi but it might be interesting to put these two together in a room and watch the fireworks. I think it would be fun if sterling eventually got along with a human and became friends with them...though, im not sure how he would handle an ex-hunter. Seeing as his ex was a hunter and sorta well, has his leg as a weapon now.
River X Aiden - Well, Hunter hunting a Hunter would be fun as heck! I could sick River after your happily little butt and see how that goes? River as a familiar that he hunts with.
Kaveri X Aiden - I think Kaveri would probably mother Aiden and take care of him if he was injuried. Kaveri is a sweet and tiny magi that can't fight. He/she is horrible at doing any fighting, cant even hold a sword, and has issues being mean or rough. Might be amusing to see them trying to teach Kaveri how to defend themselves.

Sorry for the delay in response! I've been a bit preoccupied this week.
I've done some research on all three and I think that I'd like to thread with either Kaveri or River first. Sterling is also interesting too and I'd like to do a thread with him at some point in the future. If it's okay with you, I think I'll start with Kaveri than perhaps we can plot for how Aiden and River could work. I'll try to get a thread started (or you can if you find the time before I do) for Kaveri. Any preferences for location for any of them?

I can already see Glory being one of many hunters to come after Aiden for his treason against The Hunter's Guild. I feel like Aiden would give Glory one of his first losses due to him being more experience than the relentless magi-kill-- GAAHI mean the justice upholding, do-gooding citizen! |

All to the yes on this one. This could be a very good back-and-forth between the two of them, a game of one-upsmanship where they both perhaps come to respect each other's skills. Glory going after Aiden and either losing to him or not being able to finish the job. I'd also be alright with Glory getting the advantage over Aiden and handing him a few losses. You're ON because this could be an amazingly epic feud.

Sure thing! It would be interesting to see them interact, considering Aiden is abrasive and Luca is gentle. I could see them fighting a little bit and getting on each other's nerves, but we can work out a plot for them.

Sweet! I'd love to work out a plot for them if we can, yeah. As far as a starting point goes... what comes to mind is maybe Luca helping Aiden with an injury, or one of them getting caught up in the other's Hunter problems, since one's a magi, and the other's a wanted man. Given their contrasting personalities, it seems like it'd be fun to toss them into a situation where they have to cooperate for a while. Alternatively... there's always the random encounter option, but that probably runs the risk of being boring. >>; And this would probably be a longer development, but personally I'm curious to see how Aiden might react to an Empath, given his issues with emotional disclosure (assuming you haven't gone down this route already ^^; ).
