Overall comes across as very professional and serious. Her natural at rest facial expression is a cold stern gaze with those scarlet eyes of hers. She is capable of feeling emotions and does but she isn't over the top with those physical responses. You'll get a polite smile. A chuckle. A raising of the eyebrow. A frown. You'll get them, don't worry. Just don't expect anything extreme or over the top.

Neatness and cleanliness. Holy crap are these two factors important to Em. If you use something you better put it back when you're done. If you spill something you better clean it. Emi has cleaning supplies in the bottom drawer of her desk and will germ x her hands at least once every two hours. This also leaks into her clothing having to be ironed and will consider an article dead if she can't get a stain out, no matter how small.

Emiko is a lesbian. If you're a male and you try to woo her or look her way you're probably going to get a smart ass comment. If she's anything with males it's a bro or friend. But if you're a pretty little thing in a skirt? Emi is a fan of sex so you might get a few sweet words your way. If you're a student or fellow staff member and wanting to get to that stage with her you're going to have to do a bit of persistent chasing. Emi's sense of professionalism comes before personal wants such as sex.

If you get to a bro status with Ms Emiko you get to see that smart ass side of her more often. She'll fist bump and give you shit. Sometimes be downright cruel with her words but eh. If you're at bro status you know she's just dicking with ya. She'll kick her feet up on your sofa. There's a new level of relaxation she reaches at this stage. 

Emi is a 5' 8" (172.5 cm) woman of oriental descent whom has been told she appears a tad younger than her 32 years of age. Her skin is rather on the pale side during the winter and will gain a light tan during the warmer seasons of the year. Bluntly speaking, Emiko is considered to be attractive. With her natural light brown/dark blonde hair and scarlet eyes she doesn't consider herself gorgeous or anything exceptional. But on the other hand she isn't surprised if she's flirted with.


A delicate blush. Thin brows. Soft lips that are normally only dressed with chap stick. Those delicate metal glasses. In the past she's worn her hair in a cute bob. However for the past ten years Emi's hair has grown to a mid-back wavey display. Wither it's in a high ponytail or allowed down, not a hair will be out of place.


This human's body is very fit, Emiko won't bother being modest on that subject. Very well toned, she is considered feminine to the eye. However upon closer inspection you'll see that her thighs and biceps are more muscled than what would be considered a delicate flower. This is due her personal exercise regiment and her secondary occupation outside of the school. Her form is riddled with lightly colored scars mostly from her darker duties within the University.



Emiko prefers tighter fitting clothing honestly. Flowing skirts and dresses she'll wear on occasion but she greatly prefers clothes that fit closely to her. Especially in the chemistry lab, loosely fitting clothing is the quickest way to get caught on fire accidentally. So as a professor she'll wear pencil skirts that wrap her waist and legs well. Button down lightly frilly shirts and blouses. Stilettos. Very professional looking all around with an air of seriousness. At Emi's most casual in her personal time she'll wear skinny jeans and a variety of closely fitting tops. She's not afraid to look good.

Daughter of an immigrant Emiko spent her childhood learning to adjust to the foreign country that was Inertia. Having to translate for her mother during most every day activities since a young age, Emi matured quicker than other kids her age. It would be at age eleven that Kyoko, Em's mother, would be killed as an innocent bystander in a robbery of the local grocery store.

Two and a half years would pass, bouncing from foster home to foster home, and the little girl would still be exceptional in her schooling. The Runic University having a positive history of blessing full ride scholarships to the financially troubled brilliant students. A professor was asked by the Head Master to adopt the prodigious child. Emiko would continue to prove impressive in her studies and would take full advantage of the free tuition and dorm. 

Aasim Haleema, the Professor that had been instructed to adopt her, was not one for affection. The man was a business oriented gent who could not be more the very dictionary definition of "asexual" if he was specifically aiming for it. Many of Emiko's current mannerisms were either learned from this man or further encouraged by him. It was actually the day she graduated at the top of her class Aasim hugged her for the first time since they had met. And honestly Emi wouldn't have had it any other way. She appreciated him the way he was and honestly preferred someone not try to take the place of her mother. That was just how she was, nothing personal. 

Upon graduating Emiko chose to turn right back around and apply herself to bettering the school that had changed her life. Without the University she would have been stuck in a low income circling of the drain. It would not take long for her to be employed as a Professor and would be further called upon to also be a field agent. Emi may be recognized by Humans for her reputation of being apart of the University and for her volunteer work during natural disasters. And at the same time, she may be recognized by Magi for her cold demeanor while obeying the orders received by the University's Head Master, including but not limited to sawing off a Magi's limb to create a unique weapon and relocating (cough kidnapping cough) a family member for research purposes. 

Her University duties are the most important in her life. Loyalty to the University that gave her a life worth living and opportunity comes before all else. That is the core essence of who she is.

- Runic Magic Novice: You're a starting student for the art of Runic Magic. Runes are a kind of magic that can only be learned, you are not born with this ability. It is the writing of ancient symbols in an ancient long-since-dead language that enacts certain spells. You are able to complete Amateur level Runic Magic which can be found here (which is where you can also find a more descriptive definition of runes).

- The Last Defense: Professor Only - Built within the runic programing of the Command Seal is a defense mechanism designed to be used as a weapon to protect the life of the host. When the conditions are met, the host can activate the seal, bringing it to life. The ink is ejected from the host through the pores of the skin, clumping together to form a living plasma that can be controlled telepathically. The Seal can take the form of up to five shapeable tendrils that range up to five feet in length. They can harden or sharpen and can gain weight to be used for all manner of attacks. This versatility in use is meant so that the professor can escape possible capture and dispose of all witnesses.

To be used, the body must be in a fight or flight state and can be activated through the use of an incantation or self injury. The ejection process is painful and the host loses a lot of blood during the activation (as the ink itself has merged with the host's bloodstream) and even more so the more tendrils you produce. Afterwards, the ink returns to the host and a location is sent to the Holder of the Master Seal (the Headmaster).

All with a Command seal have standing orders to make this ability a last resort. The Last Defense is obviously not commonly known of for this reason. It could be considered another secret of the University's for that reason. (Taking this ability means that your character is now a professor.)








UNARMED COMBAT II
You have improved in this skill and can accomplish more impressive feats in the fighting technique you've chosen for your character.
You are now also able to defend yourself better against melee weapon-ed attacks.

UNARMED COMBAT III
You are extremely talented in unarmed combat within the field that you have chosen to study in.
Not only are you more able to defend yourself against melee weapon-ed attacks but you have a high chance in getting your opponent in dropping their weapon as well if given the chance (the fumble concept also applies to firearms as well).



Runic Tattoo: A RUNE MASTER TATTOOS ONE COMPLEX RUNIC CIRCLE INTO YOUR SKIN.

Details: Through Emiko's depression Em has decided to tattoo herself with the very ink that has doomed her into servitude under the Headmaster. This decision was made as an attempt to reclaim herself. Now the only tattoo on her body isn't something that cursed her into slavery. There's now something to smile at when it comes to her own form and her previous passion for Runic studies. She has tattooed a medium sized image into her form. A feminine/delicate snake in darker shades of blue (reference one / reference two). The tattoo will move, both two dimensionally and three dimensionally; even traveling down a thigh or entwine in between her fingers.
