With music and dancing, We celebrate who we are. A short distance from the food stands, a clearing in the trees was surrounded by a ring of small multi-colored lanterns. Attracted by the light, fireflies weaved through the grass and flowers. Seven larger fires provided the rest of the illumination, but they were only to be lit when the sun fell below the horizon. With all of the flames, the clearing should have been hot, but a team of Magi were using a combination of air magic and fire magic to keep the heat away from the guests who danced in the grass. The earth and grass was flattened, still not entirely even underfoot, but the Priests had carefully moved all but the grass to the periphery, so they wouldn't be trodden upon.
Furthest away from the picnic tables, a small wooden stage supports the band that plays traditional music from a variety of nations, each different Magi remembering their homeland through the use of the instruments they had brought with them, however far. Some of the songs were slow, reminiscent of all that the Magi had lost, all the people and homes left behind, all those lost to Tatara. Others were more upbeat, celebrations of culture and life, enough to get anyone's heart pumping. Still others were slower, but sweeter, celebrations of things more innocent and beautiful than loss or memory. The musicians kept an ear out for requests, catering to their audience as well as they could.
In the middle of the clearing, a variety of Magi danced to the music, with some twirling randomly as the music moved them and others organizing into more traditional forms. They all wove together into a moving mass of people, enjoying the atmosphere and time spent together. The space was denser with people closer to the band, but the crowd was an ever-moving, ever changing mass. Priests were light on the Meadow grounds, but volunteers still kept an eye on things, keeping to the edges of the festivities.
Chairs lined the edges of the clearing, just on the edge before the flowers and brush, for the use of anyone who got tired or needed a second to sit. A few of the shyer Magi lingered there at the edges, watching the dancing but not joining in.
This is post not only gives a brief description of the scenery but also acts as the starter for all general threads. With this event being a free for all social activity this is where are all posts will be made unless you begin a lengthier scene between certain characters. That way you're not going to have to dig as much until you find the post that you're wishing to respond to.

The Spring Renewal, the past eight years Rynth hasn't been much of an active participant within all of her previous visits. To think that this one year all of her students would collaborate into roping her into a series of stage shows... It was embarrassing to say the least. They would go so far as to design outfits such as a regal suit to an elegant dress for just the first set of stage shows. Rynth was far from excited to do this... But she loved her students even if she wouldn't openly say it aloud.
The many magi and few humans that participated in dancing was very entrancing... Rynth was usually a bench warmer for these things. One of her students an air magi who loved to mimic both her voice as in many cases it was very difficult to discern her gender from looks and sound alone. She approached quite readily... "So like we agreed Ms. Lumaban that you would take the first dance regardless of which character they ask." The magi before her was half her age... A bright smile that never ceases to bring a smile to her own face as she tipped her hat to hide a bit of a blush on her own face before answering with a sigh. "Of course child... So long as this is the only time I'm center stage for these little shows of yours." she ends up chuckling a bit before being pulled off by her student to prepare the show.
Once they were able to get the band to play a bit of mood music for the event it was finally time for her to gather the attention of the crowd. Upon on stage Rynth'a voice calls out in an utmost spectacular fashion. "Come one and all to greet the fabled Twins of the Concord Kingdom!" Rynth recalled as she spoke of the magi twins within some folklore her father had always told her about as a child. This would not be the first time she retold the take to others... However this would be the first time she presented it in front of a crowd.
Once all eyes were set upon the stage Rynth had to take a deep breath to cool her nerves. "To those that don't know of our tale, We magi of old shall personally enlighten you to our story." Walking to the center of the stage as her invisibility peels away into a stoic horned magi. Dressed in a rather regal suit. The image that was in her place displayed a charming young man who's eyes bloomed crimson with a matching fanged smile. "I am made humble to be graced by your attention, but allow me to present the pride and joy within my life... My sister Selena!" Just like before a new image would be revealed as the air peeled away to show young feathered girl. Who's dress contrasted a mix of dark feathers with her own pure white. Her student disguised as this fragile magi girl stood beside her. "For those that don't know of us... I am the Duke Calsipher and my lovely sister Selena the Duchess of Concord would love to extend our hands and offer our first dance to whomever may dare to ask of us." It has been quite some time since Rynth herself actually danced... But she knew the steps... Now all that was left was for someone to request a dance... No matter Which fabled twin got asked first her student made her promise to be the person to receive the first dance. Now who would be so courageous enough to ask for that dance?

This Spring Renewal was quite unlike any event Luca had ever experienced before, but almost despite himself, he found he was rather enjoying it so far. There were so many people, and so many sights, he hardly had a clue where to begin, but the meadows had seemed like a decent start. Here, there was singing and dancing, and more varieties of music than he could even hope to count. Initially, it had all been a little overwhelming, but after a while, the young zero magi had been able to get used to it…
Although, this was probably largely due to the fact that he mostly clung to the sidelines. The sidelines were quieter, and although they did not often have the best view, they were safe. People didn’t notice him much, or try talking to him— or worse, dragging him out to dance— when he was off to the side, and for now that was just fine with Luca. For now, he was perfectly content just to stand and watch, moving every now and then to listen to different musicians, or watch other, braver magi who were out dancing.
An illusionist’s display held his attention for a while, but as ever he was far from brave enough to dare risk an approach toward the “fables Twins of the Concord Kingdom”. Eventually, he moved on from that, too, to settle into one of the chairs set out around the clearing. From there, he had a decent view of another band, playing a slower, more mournful song. It was quieter here, probably because of the nature of the song, but Luca didn’t mind that much. After a while, he shut his eyes, leaning back in his seat while he relaxed to the rhythm of the song.

It would be a nigh impossible task to find someone out there— magi or human or God in the heavens above —who was more excited for the Spring Festival than Nasrin. It was quite possibly one of the air magi's absolute favorite parts of living in Haven (a weighty statement to make) and she'd been outright buzzing with anticipation and electric charged energy for days as the event drew nearer. It was just so wonderful! A celebration of rebirth and new life was enough to make for a beautiful event, but it was a time to celebrate the wonders of magic, too, which meant that the fabled magi city really went all out to set the scene to awe inspiring.
Oh she felt as if she'd never be able to appreciate it all in such limited time! But then again, that was the thought hurrying Nasrin around in a flurry of restless energy every year. The novelty never seemed to wear off for her.
The fair haired magi had already done her rounds of the temples, gasping over the beautifully decorated shrines and complimenting every Priest and Priestess she got within earshot of, but it hadn't been long before music had wound its way into her ears and begun to guide her here— to the meadow. The meticulously flattened circle of grass was almost etheral from a distance and Nasrin admired each colorful lantern and lazily bobbing firefly as she passed, her attention now well and fully captured by the people who could be seen dancing about the stage. Now this would be her favorite part of any party. The swirling skirts, bright smiles and grinning eyes, a palpable taste of joy and energy on the air as people lost themselves in dance beneath the night sky. Yes it was obvious to an outsider's eye that Nasrin had come prepared to not just admire but join in, as the air magi had made sure to wear light, comfortable shoes along with a pale blue, layered dress whose skirt had just the right amount of swish for twirling. She'd forgone jewelry as well, but combining anxious hands with a supply of flowers had left her with... another type of accessory. A truly eye catching myriad of blooms, nearly every color of the rainbow, had been woven into a makeshift crown in her hair (which was only minimally pinned back at the moment) and she may or may not have been dropping petals everywhere she went. Oops.
Ah but now that she was here, Nasrin had a choice to make. She could always dive right in and have her fun dancing until she spotted a familiar face, or she could linger on the outskirts for a while longer and maybe find some new companions. That was something she did quite easily. A few moments of consideration went by before Nasrin tapped at her chin, humming quietly, and decided that— yes —she would look around a bit first. Steer away from the illusionists and their wonderful display to see who was out and about.
A first sweep of the clearing with her bright, robin's egg blues didn't turn up any familiar faces (how sad), but as she began to walk the periphery in a cheery stroll the Surajan magi set her eyes upon a young man sitting alone up ahead. Might as well say hello. ❝Hello there,❞ So she did, leaning in to drop a light tap on his shoulder and (if this prompted him to open his eyes) flashing a radiant grin. ❝Tired out from dancing? The music here really is lovely, they did such a fantastic job with both the decorations and entertainment this year.❞

After some time listening, it dawned on Luca that the music he had sat down to hear had more of a purpose than just being heard. The slow tune, the somber lyrics… They were a reminder of the dead and the lost, and a special way to honor their memory. Though he did not yet open his eyes, the zero magi frowned thoughtfully. Would his family count among them, even though they had not experienced quite the same tragedies that many others here had? Or had living as fugitives instead of being imprisoned in the camps or slaughtered in the genocides somehow exclude them…? He decided eventually that he liked to think it didn’t, smiling softly as he took to humming quietly after the tune. The humming soon stopped, though, as a strange voice greeted him, and a gentle touch found his shoulder. Despite the softness of both, Luca nearly jumped out of his skin from the surprise, eyes snapping open in an instant as he jerked away. A woman in a blue dress was standing over him, sporting feathers and flowers in such equal measure that he almost questioned whether she was an earth or air magi. It took him a while to process that more had been said, and then another to gather himself enough to form a coherent response. “W-well, I, um… n-no, not really,” Luca replied, pausing for a deep breath to try calming the hammering heart in his chest. “I was just listening… I can’t really dance. So.” Somewhat embarrassed by the admission he looked away, finding interest in the fireflies floating around the clearing. “It is very nice, though, yes.” Nasrin Knezevic

[attr="class","oho"] he paid dearly for his moment of paradise while knowing in his gut it could never last. [attr="class","monalisa"]When Lilith had gone off to find Kaveri at the temple, Drew had elected to stay behind at the Meadow. No doubt, he would make his way to the temple eventually, to pay his respects to Arithelia. But for now, he would rather stay away from that crowd. The music was slow now, more contemplative and mournful. He couldn't help but think that a hundred years ago, this festival wouldn't have had such a somber set of songs, but the losses that the Magi had suffered could not be ignored, even in a celebration like this one. It was a part of them now, part of their race. Even if the persecution ended tomorrow, it wouldn't be forgotten.
There wasn't much in the way of dancing now, and he could see small groups of Magi comforting each other. There were tears. It made him uncomfortable to see, as if he was eavesdropping on something private. He looked away. That was when he saw the white-haired flower woman. He had only met her once, but she was hardly the sort of person he would have forgotten. It took him another second to register that she was talking to Luca, who was definitely the more understated of the two of them. The sight of Luca's discomfort put a commiserating smile on Drew's lips, and he headed over.
The music was starting to pick up again, switching to something more upbeat. Nasrin seemed delighted by the opportunity to dance, but neither Drew nor Luca could possibly match her enthusiasm. Dancing wasn't exactly Drew's strong suit, especially since he could see some of the Magi doing some sort of organized dance toward the middle of the meadow. Apparently, a lot of others knew this song, though Drew had never heard it before.
"Nasrin," he greeted the bird Magi, nodding politely. "It's been a while. I see your flowers are doing well."
He glanced over at Luca, giving him a small understanding smile. Drew still felt distinctly uncomfortable, wearing gray slacks and a white button down. He'd folded the sleeves up to the elbow, but the fashion wasn't exactly up his alley. The tip of his tail twitched nervously back and forth.

Or maybe it was a shiny object, and Cadence was a crow, because... right, you get the metaphor. Cadence was drawn to the place almost immediately, and Fiamma was drawn with her (by the hand, and pulled; even if she was willing to go, Cadence's excitement put a spring in her step that kept her ahead of her girlfriend the entire time). “Come on! Come on!” She urged. Her eyes lit up like the lanterns decorating the area. On the stage, an illusionist was putting on quite the show, and Cadence watched with full attention; she went from 60 to 0 in the blink of an eye, probably giving her poor companion some sort of whiplash. “Wow! Wow wow wow!” She cooed, bouncing up and down on her talons. “So pretty!” Once the initial awe wore off, Cadence glanced around to take in the meadow's full beauty... and spotted a familiar face. “Fi! Let me introduce you to someone!” Aaaand she was off, whether or not Fiamma gave the okay. There was no taming the excitable little birb; her energy had been off the charts since their arrival. ► Music! Dancing! Dancing? Wait could Lelianna even dance? Oh who cared! The hermit often danced anyways on her own when she was particularly happy. There have been a few times now over the years in Arecia where Skjorn had been forced to dance with the hermit. But there she only had the music playing in her head. Here? There was actual music!
Maybe Lelianna wasn't going to dance, but she was perfectly happy to approach the edge and listen to it. The range in tunes was nice, though the hermit found herself liking the more upbeat songs far better. This was a festival! She'd much rather be celebrating while she was out here. She'd take the time to remember all the dead when she visited the temple later. Make no mistake, she was certainly going to pay her respects for those lost. But right now she'd much rather indulge in life and living it while she could.
So she was very happy when the upbeat songs came on, happily listening to it. Did Caroline follow her? The hermit wasn't entirely certain. It was a pretty well populated festival so if Caroline accidentally got lost...Whoops. Before Lelianna could realize that though, she saw an awfully familiar looking birb. It was Cadence! Although with others but Cadence! The hermit happily made her way over to say hello to the girl. To her surprise- Actually from what Lelianna had seen of the excitable air magi before, maybe this wasn't so surprising. Either way, she watched as Cadence literally tackle hugged another magi. Wow she was as energetic as always huh? Fortunately Lelianna had nearly as much energy to match this time.
"Cadence! Hi! It's great to see you again!" Lelianna said, approaching the group of mainly strangers. Though she recognized one of them. "Oh! Hello again Drew!" Fortunately she wasn't meeting the other magi during a...decidedly bad time to meet him this time. He looked more relaxed at least. "Ah, and hi you two. My name's Lelianna." The hermit also greeted, albeit in a somewhat more shy manner considering she didn't know Luca or Nasrin. But it seemed like Cadence knew and liked them, so they couldn't be all bad, right?

Oh dear, had she startled him that badly. A double toned flash of both sheepishness and concern raced across Nasrin's expression— quite plainly writing her emotions out for the world to see —but at least the other magi seemed to calm down rather quickly. Still, she felt bad for rousing him so violently. Not as if she could do anything about it now. ❝Ah well, my dear, many will claim that, but I don't think there's a single person alive who truly cannot dance. Not as long as they give it a good try and have some fun,❞ The bright note of cheer returned to Nasrin's voice as she spoke, all smiles and enthusiasm. To her, dancing had always been less of an art form and more of an... act of self expression. A way to put one's emotions on display and just enjoy, so you could say that "talent" or "skill" were really not her concerns. Everyone could and should dance!
The silvery haired magi went on to nod cheerily at the young man's agreement about the venue and, before she could open her mouth to speak again, another deeper voice cut her off. It was a familiar voice, too. ❝Drew! How nice to see you!❞ Nasrin chirruped in response, spinning to face the fire magi (and scattering a few more petals in the process), before she tipped her head back to grin up at him. ❝They are doing very well, thank you. This festival is just wonderful, don't you think? Oh and are you here with Lilith?! It would be lovely to get to meet her——❞
Pit pap pit pat pit— POUNCE. Skreee-aaACK?!?
That's an approximation of the sound Nasrin made, anyway, as a high speed bundle of feathers and affection quite literally body slammed into her from behind and nearly tipped the older air magi forward— face first —into the grass. Mostly out of surprise rather than any actual force behind the blow. Fortunately, Nasrin only ended up windmilling her arms once and, after wobbling for a precarious moment, regained her footing enough to take stock of what had just happened. Discovering the cause was enough for her surprise and confusion to rapidly morph back into joy. Lucky for Drew, this occurrence was also a fitting distraction to keep her from peppering the other magi with any more questions... at least for now.
❝Cadence!!❞ Came the enthusiastic response. ❝Oh my sweet little dove I'm so glad you came to the festival; now come here so I can hug you.❞ A loud, burbling sort of coo rolled out from Nasrin's throat as she pried Cadence off of her back and promptly wrapped the smaller air magi up in her arms, nuzzling their foreheads together affectionately. It was tempting to keep the teensy bird to herself in that moment, but Nasrin loosened her grip after a few moments and allowed Cadence to bounce around between the assembled magi if she wanted to.
What a social butterfly Cadence seemed to be. Not that it was really surprising, but Nasrin hadn't anticipated that the girl would be familiar with the lone zero magi she'd approached— Luca was his name —alone with Drew and the fifth magi who was now approaching. A young woman with her own, beautiful wreathe of flowers in her hair (though Nasrin suspected that those had been grown there rather than woven) who the Surajan magi greeted with a bright smile. ❝I am Nasrin. It's a pleasure to meet you both, Lelianna and Luca.❞

Should he be standing? Luca felt like he should be standing, and so rose hesitantly from his seat while the elder magi spoke to him. She had a point about everyone being able to dance, he guessed, but he found he still wasn’t particularly inclined to join the rest of the crowd. He nodded along anyway, though, attempting a weak smile even though it paled in comparison to the stranger’s enthusiasm. Thankfully, a more familiar presence came to the rescue as the music picked up, and he found himself almost unconsciously edging closer to Drew when he came to a stop before the two of them… and greeted the air magi by name. Luca blinked, eyes flicking curiously between the pair. They knew each other, apparently well enough to talk about small, personal things, and— Skreee-aaACK?!? Stifling a squeak of his own, Luca flinched at the sudden, very loud screech from Nasrin as someone tackled her. Or… well, not exactly tackled, but more… launched onto? It was another air magi, and at least she was vaguely familiar, if he remembered Drew’s wedding clearly enough. Apparently, she also knew Nasrin, and quite well at that. Or maybe she was just this affectionate with everyone, in which case he had to wonder if he should start worrying about catching her himself, if her entrance was to be repeated at all. Even before the fifth member of their growing group appeared, the zero magi had already firmly entrenched himself in Drew’s shadow, but as the red-haired woman— who was also familiar with Drew and Cadence, it seemed— appeared, he shifted close enough to actually bump into the man. And although he muttered a sincere apology, he didn’t make much of a move to put some distance back in between them just yet, and likely wouldn’t for a while unless made to. One excitable stranger was one thing, but three at once left him generally mute, vaguely terrified, and absolutely uncertain of what to do other than offer a small wave to each. @drew Nasrin Knezevic Lelianna Varna Cadence Avia (He broke.)

[attr="class","trying"] [attr="class","we1"] [attr="class","lost1"]You did not break me
I'm still fighting for peace
Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] It was utterly amazing to him how fast a pregnant woman could move and how very bossy a particular red headed one could be. One minute, he was in the temple doing what he was supposed to be doing and then in the next he was hearing someone asking for the “Rainbow Priest.” What a way to get someone’s attention and it didn’t take long for a Priestess to call him over to the said woman that was looking for him, known as Lilith. With a quick excuse and nervous laugh he was dragged away by the woman only to lose her in the meadow. With his hands open in a confused gesture he shook his head with a small smile. Lilith probably saw something she liked or went to change the music, and if he didn’t know better, she probably went to fish Drew out for some kind of dance. Scanning the area, the priest tried to locate his friend but failed to spot the red head that pulled him away. Instead, he did catch sight of a few people he did know. With a wide grin he adjusted his robes and with a little hop in his step he made his way towards the small group he knew. He entered right as Cadence seemed to believe she was now a monkey instead of a crow. Laughing out loud, Kaveri brushed a few stray hairs away from his face that had escaped his thick braid. ”Cadence, darling, what are you doing to that poor woman?” Cheerfully, he turned to the rest, ”Hello everyone, Drew. Enjoying the festivities?” Clasping his hands in front of him he looked over his shoulder again and added in with true amusement. ”Lilith pulled me away but it seems I have lost that silly woman somewhere. I swear, I don’t know how she gets around so quickly." His gaze circled back around to Luca in which he raised a brow at the poor man that looked a bit startled. ”Are you all right?” He wasn’t real sure why he looked startled and took a glance at Drew for some help but in the end he just chuckled. [attr="class","oho"] he paid dearly for his moment of paradise while knowing in his gut it could never last. [attr="class","monalisa"]Drew lifted an eyebrow as he noticed Luca's attempt to disappear into Drew's shadow. He hadn't realized that Luca was quite so shy, but he could certainly empathize with feeling uncomfortable. It just seemed like he was running into every Magi he'd ever met today, and being familiar with most of them made him a degree less nervous than he would have been otherwise. Not that he was about to break out in dance moves as a result. But at least he wasn't alone, surrounded by strange Magi. He didn't know if he could have handled that. It was a strange thought, considering that he had agreed to come to a festival where Magi were everywhere.
As Lelianna appeared, Luca moved closer, actually bumping up against him this time. Drew looked down at him, concerned now. He usually preferred his personal space, but Drew could smell Luca's nervousness now. It wasn't quite fear, which had a sharper quality, but it was still enough to unsettle Drew's calm. He adjusted, taking a step back away from the group and steering Luca out of the tight group in the same movement. His large hand rested for a moment on his friend's shoulder, and he hoped that it would be enough for Luca to know that Drew understood.
Although they weren't entirely disengaged, they weren't quite as tightly integrated into the group now. Maybe a little room to breathe would be good for Luca.
"Did you say that you lost track of my wife?" he finally asked Kaveri, his eyebrows lowering in concern.
He didn't like the idea of no one knowing where she was, however safe this festival was supposed to be. She was nearing the end of her term by now, and that meant that she needed to be alone as little as possible. What if there was an emergency and there was no one nearby to help her? His tail swished back and forth in agitation at the thought.

[attr="class","post"] [attr="class","text-lyrics"]I'll sing it forever Cadence laughed as the larger bird plucked her from her back and scooped her into an affectionate hug and nuzzle, which she returned as fully as her tiny body allowed. And now? Now it was hug time for everyone. Beep beep, hug bus coming through! With a leap, she hugged Drew. And then to Luca (no, he couldn’t escape, and she was really bad at detecting when people were uncomfortable). Fortunately, it was a small and friendly hug, not like the strong and powerful ones she was administering to people she knew better. “Hi Lelianna! Wow your hair looks pretty!” And then fwumpf, she got a hug, too. And just when she thought she was done… Kaveri showed up. She laughed and flung herself at him into a fierce hug. “I’m just saying hello to her! And to you, too! Hi!” Okay, hugs were administered! She put her hands on her hips proudly- a job well done! She found that she was in the center of the circle of people, which for her, was ideal! Surrounded by friends, literally- what could be better than that? Ah, wait, she was missing a very important someone! “Nasrin! I want you to meet Fiamma! Kaveri, you too! And Luca!” She peered around the group at the dragon she had no doubt left in the dust with her excited attack, and waved wildly at her. Whenever she did get over, she took her hand with a big smile. “Fiamma, meet my friends! This is Nasrin! And that’s Kaveri! And this is Luca, but I don’t know him that good! They’re all really nice!” She took it upon herself to introduce everyone else, too. She let go of Fiamma's hand and stood in the direct center, like a police officer directing traffic. “Lelianna! This is Nasrin! She likes flowers a lot, too. I bet she’d like to see your garden sometime!” She wheeled around to look up at Nasrin again. “It’s really great! And you should show Lelianna your flower shop!” Before she could… continue her charitable work, she heard Drew talk to Kaveri about Lilith. She puffed out her chest and faced the large wolf. “Don’t worry, Drew! I can help find her. I can just fly up and look for her! She’s probably around here, right? She likes music a lot!” Everyone who knew her knew that she wouldn’t run out of breath until the festival was done and over; between her aspect and her singer’s training, she had lungs stronger than anyone here, despite being the youngest of the bunch. ❝I'm coming I'm coming. Slow down a bit.❞
In hindsight, it had to have been avoidable that Cadence would want to see the meadow by the time that their circuit through the festival could be brought to a close. The temples were beautiful, yes, and the food and game stands offered a nearly endless display of things to investigate and enjoy— but this was Cadence. Of course the excitable air magi would want to see where all the music and dancing was happening. That sort of lively energy seemed to attract her like a magnet; plus the fact that she was a musician herself. It was because of this that Fiamma had bothered very little with trying to protest being dragged this way, it just wasn't worth it.
Not that the meadow was an unpleasant place to be. Oh no, the music was very pleasant on the ears, the clearing itself decorated with the artistic touch of colored lanterns, and Fiamma found herself intrigued by the sight of all the dancers; she just didn't want to be a part of any of that. She wasn't exactly the... dancing type, to say the least. At least Cadence's excitement was helping to shine some light through the gloom of her apprehension since, after all, you couldn't exactly stay grumpy around a girl like her. The fire magi just decided to be complacent, following along behind her girlfriend up until the point that Cadence suddenly seemed to spot something interesting up ahead and quite literally zoomed off. Buh-bye. Fiamma managed to catch something about being introduced to someone (oh boy), but the other magi had covered enough ground in about two seconds for the words to go fuzzy.
A sigh, one scaled hand coming up to scratch at the base of her horns, and Fiamma trailed after the other girl with the vague feeling of regret that she didn't have any pockets to shove her hands into. One downside of actually wearing a dress (the only one she had that fit anymore).
By the time that she drew close enough to the group of magi to take stock of what was going on, Cadence seemed to have detached herself from the woman she'd lept at and was now distributing hugs all around. Then came the introductions. Nasrin, Kaveri, Luca, Lelianna, oh and Drew, too. Fiamma offered a wave to the other fire magi before managing a small smile to the others who had been named... jeez so many names. ❝Yeah I'm, uh, Fiamma. Resident bird watcher and tamer, you could say,❞ A touch of uneasiness made the words come out in a murmur, but there was still humor in the second bit. ❝Nice to meet you all.❞
❝Now— where are you flying off to next?❞ That one came with a bit of side eyeing towards Cadence who was, surprise surprise, still brimming with energy after all that.

► Wowza there were a lot of people there! Even another person managed to show up! The hermit didn't recognize most of them (hey she was a hermit, that was part of the territory). However if they were friends with Cadence then surely they had to be good people, right? Though Lelianna felt a little bad when out of the corner of her eye she noticed one of the other magi sneak over to sort of hide behind Drew. Shoot was she making him nervous? Had she done something wrong? Maybe he was allergic to some of the flowers in her hair...
Before she could say anything to him though, the little bird suddenly embraced her in a tight hug. "OOF! Nice to see you too Cadence!" The earth magi managed to get out while she was squeezed. "And thanks; my hair kind of, ah, exploded." Jeez, Cadence could give Skjorn a run for his money when it came to the definition of a bear hug! Still the redhead briefly returned the gesture before Cadence slid away to distribute even more hugs. That and introduce basically everyone to everyone. Luca, Nasrin, and Kaveri. Goodness, this had suddenly turned into quite the crowd.
While Cadence did that, Lelianna caught her breath and noticed Fiamma too. She offered the girl a smile and a wave. Cadence's energetic nature was doing a wonder to dispel what nerves Lelianna might have had. "Hey Fiamma! Always nice to see a fellow wood dweller." Heavens that might have even been a joke. This festival was doing things to the hippie, I tell you. But more introductions of course: this time the one named Nasrin. Who apparently owned a flower shop?
Immediately the redhead's face brightened up considerably. If there was one topic that the hermit could easily open up to, it was flowers. As though the vast array of colorful blooms currently thriving through her red locks wasn't enough evidence. You could blame Caroline for the flower curtain that was her hair right now. "You own a flower shop?" She asked with excitement. "That's awesome! I'm always looking to buy more seeds for my garden. Oh, and if you really want I could show you like Cadence says." Again, if she was a friend of the bird then she had to be at least a little nice right?
