| Theron Lorne
Human | Black Market Trader | Male | 27 | Bisexual |
Theron has been running and trading contraband since he was 15. He happens to like magi, and hate Hunters. His current haunt is Felici, although trips elsewhere are entirely possible. |
FRIENDS Many of Theron's friends are also involved with the black market, in one way or another-- although one might consider these to be closer to allies than actual friends. He generally likes people, though, and can get along with most types rather easily. It's hard to earn his trust entirely, but those who have can rely on Theron for just about anything. ENEMIES An easy thing to make, in Theron's line of work. This could be anyone from Ethea's law enforcement, to business competitors, to people he's just managed to piss off in one way or another. Oddly, he has next to no tolerance for those who show any sort of bigotry, especially against magi, and harbors a particular distaste for Hunters. Over the years, he has hurt and even killed a lot of people, so it's entirely possible someone with connections to them might hate Theron, too. LOVERS As one might expect, romance is an interesting thing for a criminal. If you don't particularly mind courting someone with a record a mile long, you are welcome to try. Flings are not unheard of, but a genuine relationship is a harder thing to attain in Theron's case. It has happened before, and with enough persistence may happen again, but it will take time. Humans or magi of either gender are welcome to apply.

Wrentham would probably think that Theron is "exciting." Even though he seems like someone that would be hard to get a decent meal out of, I could see Wren sticking around him for mere amusement purposes. Hell, maybe Wren would even help out a bit with black market stuff purely for shits and giggles... Whether he'd actually be reliable or not would be debatable, though. If he didn't like doing something, he probably wouldn't think twice about dropping it. I could also see Wren trying to make Theron hella uncomfortable and just failing miserably... (or, hell, maybe he'd get surprised with a meal every once in a blue moon)... which would probably be hilarious.

I agree that Theron would probably be difficult to feed off of, but if Wren would be interested in getting involved with his work, I don't think he'd be opposed. In his app, you have stealth and agility under his strengths, which could make for a pretty decent runner if he does end up wanting to join Theron's crew. They might have some issues over his lack of reliability, though, just so you know. Theron doesn't like being made to look bad, and dropping a task just because he doesn't want to do it is a pretty big no-no. But hey, fights are fun right? And I would love to see Wren trying to get Theron uncomfortable. It'd be funny, I think, to have him try and fail like you said. There is a slim possibility (and I do mean slim) that he might succeed, but otherwise Theron's going to be a tough nut to crack. But again, I'd love to see Wren try. Wrentham

LOL... I doubt that Wren would even ask for money when doing tasks in the first place, so even if he doesn't do everything, it's probably still technically "worth it" — at least... money-wise — to have him around. But yes. I want Wren to get in a fight. Tbh, I have no idea how that would even turn out... He'd probably just end up playing the role of some dense SOB and seem completely unaware of the fact that they're fighting in the first place... I could even see Wren just laughing in Theron's face, as if Theron's just joking around or something. Anyways. How should we throw them together for the first time? Maybe Theron's doing something related to work, but whatever party he's having a deal with is somehow feeling sexual tension, which causes Wren to show up because he was hungry and sensed it? So then he just kinda hangs around afterwards to see what's actually happening? Idk. ///throws arms up in the air

While money is important, it wouldn't necessarily be the only issue. Theron has a reputation to maintain, and clients to please, and one of his people (even a new one) dropping a job helps with neither of those things. Get him or the people he runs for angry enough, and he might just hand Wren off to whoever wants him the most for scrap (or whatever else angry black market people might do to him). Getting Theron to actually like him might help a little, but it's something to keep in mind. The first warning could make for an interesting thread, though. :3 Get him angry enough, and the fight will probably end with someone getting shot, not gonna lie. XD Theron's a pretty chill guy most of the time, but he doesn't take well to people ruining things in his little business setup. Although since he is dead and using an android body, it probably won't turn out exactly the way Theron expects if push comes to shove. As for throwing them together... idk if you want to go the food route, Theron could be jokingly flirting with some client/colleague who's just not having it, or... Maybe Wren could find him in the middle of a run or a cargo drop? Parkour is fun, right? And sneaky-beaky things could be interesting maybe...? Uhm... *thinks* There will probably be a lot of guns pointed at him if he just shows up in the middle of a deal, but if that's what you want to do... XD Wrentham

alsdflashdlfjasldjflahsdlihfafd I'm dying at the idea of Wren getting shot in the head and him still being able to control the android body. I feel like that would be a hilarious scene? Anyways. I'm laughing at the idea of Wren hanging out in ghosty form during the deal, and then something happens so the cops get notified, so Theron parkours it the fuck outta there... and Wren gets really stupidly pumped over parkour and tries to follow him and copy him while in his android body? (Failing miserably, of course). And then maybe Theron kinda feels like someone's following him and then it can lead to the most ridiculously stupid introduction scene ever?

I keep forgetting that Wren wandering around as just a ghost is a thing. Why. orz
But yes, that would be a most amusing scene to write out. Theron does not often have "wtf" moments, and I'd love to give him one. ;3
And I would be up for that introduction scene. XD "*loud banging noises* Gee I think someone's following me. *staaaaaaares at Wren*" A+ yes please.

Theron Lorne & S.T.A.R.A black market runner and a drug dealer? It's not hard to see how these two could end up interacting with one another. Pandora's probably gets their stock from a handful of sources, and it makes sense to me that they might have a small contract with Theron for the save travel of their product. If this were the case he'd likely mostly interact with Aunt Harriet (the club owner) or Star, who does the actual selling on nights she works behind the bar. Who knows, maybe some nights he'd like to stick around, have a few drinks, and watch the show? There's always the flipped idea of course, where they could be enemies rather than friends. Maybe Theron has delivered to one of their main competitors on a regular basis, and Star is sent to sabotage? Either option is interesting to me!

Not hard at all, no. :3 As long as the job pays well enough (as I'm sure it does), he'll run drugs or whatever else for most anyone. I can easily see him dealing with Aunt Harriet/Star for work, and depending on the night he could very well stick around for a while if he feels like it. Although I have to admit, the sabotage idea sounds fun too. Again, if the job pays well, he'll probably do it, so he could very well have done work for a competitor, too. Just keep in mind that if Star poses a threat to him/the job/his people, he won't have any problems attacking her. If you want, perhaps we could do a friendlier interaction first, and hold onto the not-so-friendly one for later? S.T.A.R.

Theron Lorne Yes, that completely makes sense to me! We can get them on friendly terms first, and save drama for after a rapport is established between them. Star would likely be getting an even variety of drugs for humans, a good supply of downers, and a very minimal stash of uppers. Maybe we could have a thread where Pandora's is looking for someone to establish a contract with and Theron is on a trial run? Otherwise it's entirely possible that the work is already established between their situations. On the flippity flip, maybe one night there's a problem with the product that gets delivered? That would give the two reason to team up for a moment, and track down the supplier. If their relationship had mostly been professional beforehand, it would be a good way to get to know each other and ect.

Oh man, so many possibilities... *vibrates in anticipation*
If the club is in Dagos, I can see this being a first-time trial run, since Theron hasn't been there in a while. He could be looking into branching out a bit further, though, so it wouldn't be hard to justify getting him out there.
And then... heck, we can probably get three threads out of this. Get them established, go after the supplier, have drama... The more the merrier, right?

Theron Lorne I completely agree! We should keep things open for if they go a different route, but that's also a very interesting way that we could steer things towards! I guess we should focus on that first thread for the moment, and flesh out ideas for the others later on. So if we've settled on the trial run idea, I'm good with going ahead and starting it up! I don't know how Theron usually operates, but for the first deal I imagine that Star would be waiting around back for him (you know, unwilling to just him on in without supervision). Maybe there's a surprise interview or something.

Sounds good to me. :3 Since it's a first-time thing, he'll probably be a bit more willing to allow the client to dictate when/where the exchange is made. There are some risks to walking into someone else's home turf, sure, but it'll also give him a good idea of just who he's dealing with and how they operate. In other words, a back door exchange should be fine, and a surprise interview sounds like it could get interesting. X3 I'm all for it if you are. S.T.A.R.

It's like we talked about on skype. These two should totally meet. Possibility of shipping, but I just really want to put my policeman in the red light district too and let hilarity ensue. Let me know when you want threads because I am up for this ANY time. Theron Lorne

Dude, yes, please. I neeeeeeeeed iiiiiiiiit. *ahem* I am ready whenever you are-- been needing more threads lately. We'll see how the first thread goes, and then maybe see about the exchanging favors idea (or whatever else we come up with), if it works out. Sound good? Samuel
