FRIENDS The overwhelming need to make everyone happy has been programmed into Star's very being, to the point that she'd never even consider acting against it. Sometimes this can come across as pushy or unwanted attention; but to those who like to be doted on or just need someone that will listen, she can be more than welcome company. The issues with this arise when one realizes just how shallow her emotional capabilities really are, making her really more of a one-dimensional companion than anything else. Maybe you'll see potential beyond that programmed happiness, deciding stick around and grow a bond, or maybe you just want a drink and some decent conversation. Star is always ready to put on a show. ENEMIES It's very hard for Star to properly dislike someone, since the closest she can ever manage is apathy. However, this could never stop other people from hating her. Tools are tools after all, and she's simply a robot that's been used to peddle drugs and extort humans through a shady strip club. Not to mention that although Star is usually welcoming to everyone, her attitude towards magi is... lukewarm. She can't hate them, not really, but it feels like she should anyway. Magi took away two very important lives to Star, one being the love of her life. She doesn't antagonize them, but she will often go out of her way to ignore them if possible. LOVERS This whole situation is honestly a bit tricky. The truth is that Star hasn't truly felt love since Cherish died, as they were only ever designed to love each other. However, her dating life is actualy quite active for a disfigured robot stripper. Star is pansexual, polyamorus, and desperate for adoration from others. She's in a handful of open relationships even now, but mostly they're EXTREMELY shallow due to her own inability to give any deeper emotion. Still, she's very open about her relationships to anyone that is interested. Just remember, it's a bit weird to kiss someone who's missing most of her lips. Fans Up until eight years ago, Star and Cherish were a household name all over. Maybe you heard of them? Maybe not. With the state of her face it's a bit hard for most people to recognize Star, and if they did they'd never believe that the ex-celebrity was stripping on the wrong side of town. However, her current line of work also has the room to earn her a few different kinds of fans. The point is, more than any friends or lovers in her life, fans are the people that Star would die for. Her entire existence is built around gaining and maintaining fans, and she has had to deal with going from filling stadiums to only drawing in a handful of eyes. If you're open about your admiration of her, Star will glue herself to you like a man in the dessert who found an oasis. She'd be willing to do anything for you, as a star's first priority is always to her fans. Drugs Every now and then, Star will be found working the bar rather than the pole at Pandora's (the club she works for). On these nights anyone looking for a hit knows that she's a fantastic source, acting as a middle man between suppliers and the general public while giving all profits back to Aunt Harriet. Are you looking to buy? Are you looking to scope out or rough up the competition? Stop on by the club one night. She's also been known to approach seemingly depressed patrons of the club, getting them hooked on her product in an attempt to make them happier. |

You posted in mine for Hadiyya, and now I’m posting in yours for Maevia, my information broker. Maevia is basically the unofficial queen of the black market. She knows everything that goes on in there through an intricate web of agents, favors, and clients, and has influence beyond measure. I love the Aunt Harriet character in your bio, and would love to say that Maevia is acquainted with her, and they do business (And are on good terms). And through her, Star could know Maevia; the information provided to Aunt Harriet could help with the drug-running and keeping certain types away from Pandora A thread is as easy as having Maevia in Pandora, waiting for a meeting w/ Aunt Harriet or some other business-related thing, and she could talk with Star during that time. If Star has anything she needs of Maevia, she can bring that up, too; Mae can basically get anything, from info to items to … whatever! Looking up things from her past, maybe? I'm not sure what all interests her. Would Star like old memorabilia from her performance days? As a side, Maevia can bring her one, as kind of like a gift. Bonus? Maevia is a bionic with an exposed cybernetic eye and arm, that she customized herself; maybe Star would enjoy seeing someone else with an exposed face. S.T.A.R. |

YES. We absolutely should get these two in a thread together, ASAP. Maevia would likely see Star around all the time, being Aunt Harriet's number two, putting them at least on polite terms with each other. It's likely common for Star to show up with a free round of drinks during their meetings, as a sign of goodwill from the club as a whole. A bit of memorabilia is certainly a way to get on her good side, though I don't think that Star herself would go asking for it. Those days were certainly better for her (and her mental state), but as of now she's no nostalgia junkie. Most days she focus purely on making others happy, as she's been designed to... However, I do think that there is something that she might want after they've had a few splatters of small talk over time. Something that has been brushed to the past that she can never not long for. Back in her days in the big time, Star was part of a duo act. Star and Cherish, a robotic power couple that dominated the entertainment industry. One "died", the other got tossed to the side, and everything got set off course from how it was supposed to be at the time. Star may consider herself to be partially owned by everyone, but Cherish was hers and was supposedly completely fried by a small bucket's worth of water. She doesn't buy that at all, and if Maevia is willing to look into it Star is willing to both pay well and offer her assistance. Maevia Inclemens |

Mostly I thought bringing her old memorabilia would be a fun thing to offer her as just like a "hey I saw this, you might enjoy it" thing. Ohhhh looking into that? Yeah her network reaches far and wide; she's probably Star's best chance at finding out the truth about Cherish. In fact perhaps that would be a good thread start? Maevia goes to Pandora and waits for Aunt Harriet to be ready for their meeting. Meanwhile she talks with Star. If Maevia brings a little piece of old memorabilia as a gift, it could be a great way to get on that conversation topic. Whether or not Star KNOWS Maevia is an information broker is up to you; maybe she knows, maybe she only knows vaguely because Aunt Harriet describes her as "a woman who knows everything" or whatever she would phrase it.
