 Come Celebrate Spring's Awakening! Event Plot:Arithelia, our mother Goddess of Magi, is also the Goddess of Nature. As such, there is a holiday the Magi hold that celebrates the first day of spring called the Festival of Nature's Renewal. It takes place every year in Haven, in and around Arithelia's Grand Temple. All citizens of Haven, whether Magi or otherwise, are invited to take part in the celebration of nature and the changing of the seasons. There will be food, games, dancing, and more somber temple services to pay tribute to the Goddess.
Come one, come all, to the biggest event of the season!Rules:1) Only Magi or established human citizens of Haven are allowed to participate. The magic of the forest and spirits of the Arecia Forest prevent any human from finding the city of Haven, unless they are taken there by a Magi who already knows where it is.
2) The atmosphere of this event will be high in magic, and there is a chance (however low) of such magic being dangerous. As such, try to treat the Festival with some respect, especially in the religious settings of the Arithelia's Grand Temple. Whether or not the Goddess will tolerate disrespect, there are a lot of Magi who will not.
3) The purpose of this event is an allowance for social interactions that might not occur otherwise. So walk up to someone you perhaps haven't threaded with yet and say "sup?".
4) This event is a free for all, there aren't any groups or set people that you have to thread with. You may create your own threads if you for more intimate plots. For instance if your character asks another to dance and that's going to take six or more posts back and forth, you can feel free to open up a thread.
How do I sign up?
Sign up's last one week (end on 04/07) and are accomplished by posting below with the character you wish to join the event. You can join with more than one character but each account/character must have their own post. Please use the form code when signing up.

CHARACTER NAME AND RACEREASON FOR ATTENDING For magi this answer is simpler. For non-magi characters you have some explaining to do. What magi is escorting you in order to enter the city? There is a strict vetting that occurs at the border for obvious security reasons so you need to think through your answer here. Non-magi characters may be rejected and unable to participate (up to staff's judgment based on how you present your position).
Note worthy: Just because your character knows a magi or has had a thread with a magi does not mean your human/cyborg character gets to participate. Maevia Inclemens for instance has threaded with numerous magi but none of them would actually invite her to the event. ALSO! after some thought I'm making the rule that the magi character must be played by another member. So for instance my character Oliver would not be able to attend just because I also play Elijah and can come up with some ic nonsense about how they know each other off screens. She'd definitely head over for a celebration. I mean hey, she might be a hermit but who doesn't like a little partying? Especially if she gets to celebrate spring! And drink. Someone please get her to drink it'll be absolutely hilarious. But yes I imagine the festival would be one of the few times Lelianna would absolutely make an appearance in Haven.

I will have no weapons, and will be wearing a hooded poncho the entire time to avoid... run-ins with magi I may have harmed. She will vouch for me. My name should not come up as an ex-hunter, either, as Vorlan is not my real name, and "Dullahan" is officially dead. Mostly, I will attend to try and ... get used to larger crowds, and familiarize myself with magi culture. I should understand them if I am to prove I am an ally.
