[attr="class","itsover"] Malika walked the Temple of the Gods for a distance after being dropped off by a bus. She was in her normal oriental red dress and sandals. She saw no one to be present at the rotting and dilapidating landscape. Malika had traveled here to take a break for a moment. She had been reminiscing about her family being gone more than usual lately and needed some relief.[break][break]
She walked pass many statues and poles with ancient scriptures painted on them before reaching a shrine shown in the picture above. This was a small shrine made to worship Arithelia. Once, very popular it was now deserted. . Graffiti was all over the place, but it was okay with her. Hopefully, Arithelia would understand. She walked up a set of moss covered stairs before reaching the top and kneeling down at a table. There was a small rotting statue of the God and a concrete bowl cemented to a concrete table used to place the offerings. She kneeled before the table and rummaged through a large cotton bag(one you would find at a grocery store) and took out an orange and placed it in the bowl. She then searched for 3 daisy stems and placed them in the bowl. Then a lighter and 2 incense sticks that smelled like mint. She lit the incense and shifted her body a bit too be more comfortable. [break][break]
“Arithelia, please help me through this hard time by providing me with the strength to get through this period of grief in my life. Please bless me with the strength of your soul and soothe my aching heart. Please I need it. Amen,” Malika would say out loud in a normal voice, however her voice slightly echoed. It was a small and simple prayer, yet Malika said it with all of her tiny and faithful heart and thought it was enough. She felt a small tear roll down her tanned cheek. Her face turned red trying to hold in the water that was starting to build up around her eyes. She took her hand and whisked any water buildup on her face. She thought she was alone, but she wasn’t. Someone was quietly watching her from a distance. She felt someone’s eyes on her and turned around, “Oh?” would come from her mouth and she would flinch from being startled. It’s not like she was expecting someone to be literally a few feet away from her. Or anyone on this deserted property. That’s why she came here, to be alone and be sad. Just for a moment. But it seems like that wasn’t going to happen, but it didn’t really bother the social butterfly. [break][break]
She would smile at this person who appeared to be around her age and say, “Hello!”she greeted, trying to sound as cheerful and not weirded out as much as possible.

Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette He walked reverently up the stairs, flanked by religious stone pillars and moss-covered rocks. He had been to prayer like this several times, many years ago in days left forgotten, but somehow the feelings were there and he couldn't help but picture this place in its prime. The Magi certainly prized it, even if Aiden himself held conflicted feelings over the value of it. Magi needed something to believe in and he could respect that, but the time of gods and piety would one day come to be a thing of the past. The day was light with overcast grey skies casting no shadows over the tiny hill where the crumbling shack of a temple to Arithelia that seemed more like a defiant avatar against the others rather than a true place of worship. He flowed with outward respect for the Magi goddess, even if he would happily take a piss on Kalidas temple a short ways away past the main road. It was unfamiliar for him to visit this place, dressed in a casual grey shirt and cargo pants, passing a rounded and fallen stone pillar by the wayside of the desecrated stairway. This place had an uplifting, but yet transitory feeling to it. If his experience with religion was anything to cite, Kalidas temple was a little like having dinner with a mother you thought cared for you or at least would since you were her loyal slave. This place... was harrowed and left for the rot of the ages to claim. Despite that though, he admitted that the subtlety of the quiet and the weeds and flowers still flourishing within full view was quite pleasing. As he paused by one of the large gaits, Aiden shifted his eyes toward the shrine with a person kneeling before the sanctuary. At a guess, the person was most likely a girl and he could make out the plastic bag in her hand and the words of thoughtful prayer escaping her lips. The tracing of the echo allowed him to hear the message with clarity, though he kept his respectful distance for a short time before striding closer and getting a better portrait view of her features. "Pleasant little prayer you did there. Mind if I ask what the difficulty is that you're going through? I couldn't help but overhear a little... not to interrupt your moment however." He asked calmly, leaning against a nearby carving overlooking the ascent to the shrine. His shoulders twitched unconsciously, glancing downwards at the younger girl from his superior height. In his eye, she was another looker, with chocolate-colored skin that left him with an alluring and intrigued impression. He noted the knife-like ears and youthful facial features with a knowing glint in his eye. She was seemingly attractive for a Magi he admitted, though he wasn't up to teasing her at the moment. He spotted the shadow of liquid rolling over her cheek and felt the solemn moment just as strongly for the time being. "You sounded quite sincere and troubled. Did something happen to you recently?" he inquired, staying back and beginning to nonchalantly lean up against the nearby pillar.

‘Okay, okay, okay, okay……Where did this guy come from?’ Malika thought to herself as her entire body was now turned to the stranger. She looked up at him. Her ombre eyes gazed into his solid icy blue. Her eyes narrowed and her eyebrows slanted downwards. Her forced smile quickly turned upside down into a frown. This guy seemed human enough for the most part. He wore clothing that showed off his normal, muscular arms and calves. He had light hair and normal colored eyes(that were pretty to her still). He must work out a lot. [break][break] What was he doing at Arithelia’s temple? Unless, of course this was a trick and he was a hunter. I mean it would be smart for a hunter to lurk at a temple where Magi would go, to you know… kill them. She had heard of this happening before in her hometown. [break][break] ‘Is he a hunter perhaps?’ Malika would think then shake this thought off. It was quite a random and paranoid thought so, she ‘d put that to the side. He didn’t seem to have any weapons on him, but she couldn’t help but to be scared as a lot of humans did come here to disrespect Magi culture. [break][break] She first would address his questions, “What I pray and ask of my God is none of your business. I do not know you and have no history with you, therefore you should not be a nosyass and get into my business. Is that clear?” Malika would say. Her voice sharp, yet clear. She would stand up. [break][break] “Aren’t you human? What the hell are you doing at one of my God’s shrines? To rob? To break things?” Malika would start to question. As she stated each assumption she would start to walk over until she stood in front of Aiden. She jabbed a finger in his chest hard(not that’d do anything)and would say, “Either way…..I think it’s best for you to leave. This area is for Magi. We don’t need humans to intrude on our worship of Arithelia.”

Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette She was even more attractive than he had first thought while staring him down up-close, though also a bit younger too. Aiden stayed back; passive and unassuming as she closed the distance between them from the shrine up. It was amusing enough to have her prod and poke him, trying her best to assert herself over him when he was physically imposing. He had to admire her for standing up to him, even as he could taste the unease and anguish running through her mind. It was all too familiar by now and he couldn't help but leave a solemn, forgiving smile. It wasn't something he could hold against her, not after all the Hunters had done and what he had done. Still though, he wasn't going to just back off now. Aiden wispily sidestepped the woman, stopping just by the the edge of the stairs by the elder tree decorating the ramparts at just midway. "Trust me, I have no intentions of defiling the sanctity here. I came only for the peace and quiet and to repay a debt that I owe if you don't mind." He leveled his most disarming smirk at the young girl from afar before continuing on, "That is, if you don't mind being in the presence of a former hunter. If you do, than perhaps you might want to leave. You have my thanks." His feet trudged a bit further up before he craned his neck to glance behind, unable to resist making one parting shot if he could. "You seemed genuinely sad to me, so whatever it is that you were praying for, I hope that it passes and the goddess brings you the happiness you wish for. Although if you ask me, she's already given you a lot to work with." "That butt of yours would put any man in the hospital." He snickered lightly and walked back, continuing to trudge up the hill.

This man was good looking. He had blue eyes that pierced into her fiery ombre irises and very smooth skin. He had pretty snow like hair as well. BUT…..She had no interest in him at the moment, because he was annoying her with that sly smile of his. It’d only made her more frustrated. The fact now that he revealed that he was a former hunter made her a bit nervous(not that’d she ever would admit that). But then again on second thought…..Maybe he didn’t want to hurt her anyway. He didn’t seem to be participating in any disrespectful activity nor did he seem interested in wanting to kill her. Well he did say he was a former hunter. Perhaps, he was dishonored? Or he could be retired. Anyway, she wasn’t too sure what he meant by former. Until he officially confirmed that he was dishonored this man was on her shitlist. [break][break] She thought about apologizing as he let her be. Maybe she had gotten a bit too carried away. She opened her mouth to say something……… [break][break] But then everything changed as he made a perverted comment about her large ass. She would stand there stunned. Sure, she had made a sexual comment here or there about others. Sure she may have been stripper and grinded on people for a living. But she was not the type to just go ahead and say such sexual statements to another person who showed no interest in her. It’d be weird and really just a form of well……being rude and clingy.[break][break] Malika was quite very aware that she came off as attractive to an okay percent to non-racist people. She knew that being a Magi and having demonic features came off as some sort of weird sex fantasy for some men. She knew that having large assets worked for her than against her, due to the work field she was in. But the fact that this stranger who claimed to kill Magi, then disturb her prayer to Arithelia try to now insert some sly way to try to insert some butt joke.[break][break] What a weird way to flirt. [break][break] Nuh-uh. There was no way Malika would accept that compliment. No way. Never, ever. [break][break] She stomped over to Aiden as he made his way up the stairs with his back turned. She’d then abruptly push him forward as one of his feet were raised before doing a push kick as his butt. He was much taller than her so, it was revealing to try and raise her leg that high in her dress. But she didn’t care, it’s not like the man or anyone would see anything.[break][break] “You pastyass pussy man. I’ll send your ass to the hospital. Do you think I’m a preschooler? Do you think we’re in preschool? Don’t flirt with me like that. Tryin’ to make me sympathize for you and then throw in a pervy comment to me like I’ll chase after you or some shit,” Malika cursed at the man and did some more. Then she would take a deep breath. She bit the inside of her left cheek softly. Not to the point it would draw blood or anything.

Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette Aiden staggered forth from having his rear end shoved. Most of the Magi's weight seemed to transfer into the kick, though he didn't fall over and it was more of an annoyance than anything that could anger him. For someone with her stature though, he had to give her some credit. He turned around, brushing the small bit of dirt on the buttocks of his jeans. It seemed that he had misstepped and struck a nerve with this woman. The throng of colorful and vulgar insults were amusing and even had a bit of an effect on the wry hunter as Aiden's features became a bit more stark and grim. He had no intention of hurting the young woman no doubt. He wouldn't dare hurt another Magi, but he wasn't going to be pushed around like this. Aiden leveled with her, going for a strong-arm to try and lock her arms above her eventually until he succeeded in keeping her from using magic against him and he could look her dead in the eye. "Anything else you want to say or have you had enough? Please. If you have anything else to say, then spit it out. I owe a debt and frankly I have no time for this. I respect your people and your culture, but if you come at me then I will defend myself. If there is anything else you still want to say around me, then please say it. I can take whatever you can dish out and if I offend you, than I will readily apologize. It seems like you've gone through great pain and I can understand that. But still, just let me make myself clear." He let off the grip and backed away from her, taking just a moment to glance back as he started to climb the stairs. "If you still have a bone to pick, than come and fight. You won't fear death around me, but I came to give my respects and that is what I shall do. You are free to watch if you wish." Aiden kept walking, though he was now aware of her and kept his guard up in case she tried anything again. The air was tense and the gust blowing between them seemed to acknowledge that subtly. "I don't want or need sympathy. Lighten up! You're a pretty thing, but your attitude and mouth are even worse than mine." Aiden tossed back before stepping over the boundary and standing before the Shrine of Arithelia. It was saddening in its own way, to be here and not have an offering that could equal the favors bestowed upon him. He knelt before the shrine, an eye turned to his back in case the woman decided to throw any spells at him.
