blood on my name THERE'S A RECKONING A COMING, IT BURNS BEYOND THE GRAVE
Archaleos' gaze tracked the woman with the air of a wary cat as she stood up, evidently accepting both of their requests on dreams to view. The fact that she seemed to have that power— to manipulate this dream world freely, and to provide them a viewing seat —clued him in a bit more as to her identity but he was still having trouble placing a name. Was this woman really a Goddess? It seemed... grossly far fetched yet, after what had happened thus far, Archaleos was more willing to believe the truth in things that one would call "out of the ordinary". He'd have to investigate all this more when he woke up. The Hunter's previously neutral expression twisted into a touchy scowl when she spoke of his request. Like it was predictable. Like it was anything but a whim, because it certainly hadn't been anything beyond something to say when he had no other ideas. Nothing else. Archaleos' bit of brooding was cut short as the rope shot up into the sky and (distracted by the object's sudden appearance) he had no time to react to being grabbed until he was slung over the Goddess' shoulder. ...what. Archaleos simultaneously choked on his next inhale and tensed up all at once, evidently trying to process the position he now found himself in. Won't bite? Oh Gods that scarab thing was right next to his head and he had nowhere to grab how was he even expected to react to this?? Ghh. Giving up the ghost, Archaleos settled on remaining very still— eyes comically wide —and curled his arms in towards his chest in one big ball of tension. That was also how he remained through the ascension up into the sky (though his eyes ended up screwed shut) and the teen only seemed to actually breathe when he was set down on— a cloud? He stared up at the monstrously tall woman when she made to speak her parting words and, still thoroughly shell shocked, there was no way he was getting out any kind of response before she was up and away. Consider leaving some tokens at one of my shrines. Uh huh, well, that cemented Archaleos suspicions on her being some sort of deity. Which was... not comforting. Alright, moving on, where was he now? The cloud's movement was what drew the young Hunter into looking around and (deciding to stay sitting) he swept his gaze about quizzically, finding a wave of familiarity rushing up to meet him. It was a place Archaleos hadn't seen in person in quite some time but, nonetheless, there was no way that he would forget his family's vacation home where they had spent many a summer. There was the house, the yard, the lake, and... oh. It was him, and Caleb. Both as they'd appeared years ago, yet Archaleos' brain was very helpful in providing a slow trickle of memories to fit in with the scene like matching puzzle pieces as it went along. Was this going to be all he saw, then? A flashback? Archaleos looked away with a muted scoff as the ghosts of himself and his brother filled the air with the sound of childish laughter and, as if his thoughts on the scene had prompted it, the weather suddenly changed to prove to him that no— this was no mere memory. Thunder crashed loudly enough to startle him and he looked back sharply, finding the scene drastically changed. The storm was... correct. They'd gone out too far one day, stayed out too late, and had to wander their way back through a downpour but what he recalled was nothing like this. The lake and the house had vanished and the apparition of himself and his brother were surrounded by forest, endless trees that never thinned. No matter how stubbornly Caleb pressed on. ...was that what he looked like now? True, it had only been about two years since Archaleos had last seen his brother but the young man looked older now, especially compared to the childish figment he was leading along. Caleb's intent to protect his brother in any way he could was obvious and it was nigh impossible to look away from the scene that was unfolding yet, wait, he couldn't hear what was being said over the storm. The roar of the falling rain— soaking the dream's inhabitants while leaving Archaleos untouched —overshadowed any words that were said and the Hunter was left to gather what was happening by what he saw. The younger version of himself was yelling, snarling at Caleb, ripping his hand free before running off into the pitch black of the surrounding woods. Caleb desperately called after him and Archaleos could just faintly hear the sounds of his own name said in that pained, pleading voice. He opened his eyes to the sight of his bedroom ceiling. A brief moment of silence ticked by before Archaleos was gasping and his muscles seized, jerking him upright into a sitting position with his fingers fisted in the sheets. His fingers. Bringing his hands up for investigation showed that, yes, the flesh and blood had been replaced with metal once more and Archaleos' surroundings were silent and calm, said silence only broken by the heavy beat of his pulse. He was awake. He made it out. Sitting still and waiting seemed to be the best fix for the electric tension still wired beneath his skin and, after a few minutes, the Hunter's adrenaline cooled off to leave a feeling of leaden heaviness behind. His mind was still buzzing over what he'd just experienced, but it was over now. Hah. Wordlessly, Archaleos drew his knees in towards his chest and crossed his arms atop them, pillowing his head at an angle to stare vacantly out the window. It wasn't as if he was going to get any more sleep tonight. 985 WORDS | | Nevyne @drew | | wtf this is so long and i still feel like i didn't say everything i wanted to. hhh hh |

Welcome to your
It was not long before Nevyne would appear before Drew once more, rising from the sand like a statue just a few feet from wherever it was he stood. She was gone for only a few minutes by Drew’s perception. When Her smiling figure emerged to its full height, sand cascading down her buccaneer’s outfit, She bowed like a magician.
“You have made a bold request, Mr. Schultz. Fortunately for you, the Great Mother of Magi has chosen to grant you an audience.” She looked up from Her bow, a dire look on Her face, and eyes burning with an orange deeper than the fire within his magic. Her next words were pointed and deliberate. “I suggest you treat Her with the utmost respect, mortal. I will not tolerate anything else. Kneel, and you will meet Her.”
She would only proceed when he did so. Below him, a black void circle would expand, but he would still feel as though on solid ground. Slowly, he would sink down. If he would move, he would no longer continue and Nevyne would point Her finger downward to indicate he should kneel once more. And he would sink into the darkness, surrounded by nothing but a black darker than a starless night. This would last for only a moment, and then he would feel himself rising. A whisper from Nevyne would be the only sound: “Don’t be a stranger now! Ahuhuhu~”
He would emerge from a similar void circle, and find himself before Arithelia, in whatever form or pose she decided to take. Nevyne would not watch, as She had told Arithelia, but would keep an open ear for Her voice calling Her name.

جادو کی دیوی The scene would remain as the Great Muse had left it prior. Rolling hills as far as the eye could see blanketed the dream realm underneath a sunset skyscape. Wild flowers and untrimmed grass would dance with every breeze, setting the air alight with petals as well as floral fragrances. Their melodious sways mimicked the vibrant Eastern seas, rolling in waves of gentility. As the black void circle would dissipate, nothing but the softest of grass would act as his cushioned ground. For when the mortal would glance straight ahead, there She would be.
A woman. Not the frail little girl as she was forced to remain as in reality. This form was a woman neither tall and foreboding nor short and delicate. A beauty dressed her facial features with light brush strokes. Natural. There was no over-sexualizing of her shape. No overly plump lips. No heavily plucked brows. She simply was.
The Goddess turned to glance towards the mortal as he appeared and would offer a gentle smile. "Come." Arithelia would say, motioning with a hand to pat the earth beside her. The deity was sitting in a casual manner, leaning back with full intentions to rest. "Sit with me." Would be her chosen words. As another breeze drifted through the deity's white hair flowed as gracefully as the light material'ed dress she wore.
Atop her head stood large branching antlers. They almost acted the part of a crown proudly declaring a sense of presence. Green buds could be visibly seen to grow forth from the headpiece. Peach blossoms would actively bloom with every moment that passed. آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: Nevyne @drew

Kindness. What a novel concept.
Drew had once promised to himself that he would never kneel before anyone again. But then when had he ever observed the promises he made to himself? He'd also sworn to himself that he would never kill again, when he'd first escaped Axium. He had lost count of the number of times he'd broken that one. Maybe he just oughta stop making promises in general.
On his hands and knees as he was already, it was actually a step up to a kneeling position, and so he lifted one knee and rested his forearms on it, staring straight ahead at the sand instead of at the immortal. When the ground surrounding him turned to void, he looked around but stayed kneeling as he had been, his heart beginning to race again. Any illusion of safety from this dream not being reality had long been exorcised, but there was nothing to do here but obey until he got back onto turf that he was familiar with. He was still until there was nothing but darkness, and even his night vision couldn't penetrate the void that surrounded him. It was an unfamiliar and unsettling sensation, since he spent so many nights awake and had never felt this blind.
Then the void began to subside again, and he found himself in an unfamiliar place. The hills were picturesque, but there wasn't enough cover for his taste. Still, he couldn't help but think that Lilith would have loved this place, if she had ever been given the opportunity to see it. When he looked up in front of himself, he was a little startled to see that there was another person sitting in front of him. He inhaled, and the scent of flowers obscured any trace of the woman's scent. Was this really her? Was this really Arithelia? She wasn't as alien in her appearance as the Nightmare immortal had been, but there was something familiar about her, something he couldn't quite place.
As she summoned him forward, he hesitated only for a moment, and stood. His mind felt settled, truly settled, for the first time in a very long time. Was this what it felt like to have a human mind, not one as divided as his was?
Taking a few steps, he sat down again across from the strange woman, not sure how to feel. She certainly didn't wear menace like the Nightmare immortal, but there was a sense of power and presence about her. His instincts weren't telling him much, and he wondered if it had to do with the fact that he couldn't feel the wolf inside for the first time in many years. He had come to rely upon its sense of danger.
"A priest of yours told me about you," he admitted quietly, settling on the soft grass. "I wasn't sure that you were real until now."

جادو کی دیوی "That is alright." The Goddess replied with a kindness. A sweetness that rivaled the very floral scents that decorated the air so finely. Sitting up the Deity folded her legs to the side. Her movements graceful and smooth, the airy material of her modest dress fluttering daintily within the wind's dance steps. "What matters is now." A single peach blossom was allowed to bloom fully before its petals would gently flutter down to grace where they may land. A new bud would already begin to take the previous flower's place.
Arithelia's eyes glanced over the mortal as he sat across from her. Such a large man. Quiet in demeanor. Thin scars that suggested stories behind them. "Please let me know if you are comfortable." Ari began, those iridescent eyes meeting any gaze cast her way. "I tried to pick a form you would be relaxed around. From the sound of it, you had a very ... interesting night's rest." The smile shifted into the smallest of saddened grins. One of empathy, not of amusement. If the mortal expressed concern Arithelia would not hesitate to shift her perceived appearance into something asked for. If no such inquiry was made, Ari would simply remain as she was. Pleased that she had chosen well to put her child at ease.
"I'm glad." Would be her response as another delicate raining of petals would flutter down with the tilt of her head. "What is it you prefer to go by, Child of Fire?" Arithelia would ask, referring to the mortal by his elemental for the time being. Within the Dream Realm it was very comforting to feel the warmth of the magical flames that danced within the magi's blood. "You may call me Ari if you wish. But you need not have to. I have many names." The goddess glanced to the side to witness another rolling of the hills as a breeze passed through. "Whatever feels the most natural to you, that is the one I wish you to use."
The deity would remain as such for a moment. Enjoying the peace of the atmosphere it would seem. Regardless if the Magi replied his preferences within that small lapse of time Ari would enjoy the scenery in silence. It wouldn't be until the winds calmed for a time that the deity would glance back. "I have been told you wished to have an audience with me." The tone was soft. The eyes as gentle as the grass that danced about them. "What is it you wish to discuss?" آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: @drew

This is unexpectedly bittersweet.
Drew was having a hard time reading the immortal's body language, and so he gave up trying and leaned back into a more relaxed posture. She looked a lot like a Magi, but she had features that he'd never seen on a Magi before, like eyes that seemed to change color in the light. Not to mention that he had never met an earth Magi that was capable of manipulating flowers to quite the same extent. The power behind it was staggering to consider, even with the simple gesture. He couldn't help but stare at her as she spoke, emotions obvious on her face. She seemed so much more... human... than the other immortal had been, and he had a hard time reconciling the two with each other.
"I'm fine," he said, half-surprised about that himself.
It seemed impossible that just a few minutes ago, he had been drowning in one of the worse dreams he'd had in a while, and now he was sitting in a meadow beside the goddess that some called the Mother of all Magi. If it wasn't for the vividness of all that had happened, and the fact that he could never have imagined it himself, he would have suspected that he was losing his mind. But even his neuroses weren't this creative.
He looked up as flower petals began to rain from the air, seeming to come out of nowhere. Was that just the dreamscape that made her able to do that, or did she do that in the real world, too? It seemed pointless to ask. Instead, he addressed the question that she had asked, wondering how much she really knew about him. From the legends, he had thought that she would know just about everything there was to know about him, but it didn't seem to be the case.
"Call me Drew," he said, adding as an afterthought, "please. I wanted to ask you some things, and I didn't think I would get the chance otherwise."
He looked down at his hands for a moment, rubbing his fingers together and feeling the rough calluses that were from both wielding weapons and from playing his guitar as often as he did. What was it best to ask about? Why she hadn't stopped all this? Whether she had been watching over him all these years? Was she really the reason that he was alive, or was her neglect the cause of his suffering?
"They say that you are the Mother of all Magi," he said, his voice soft to belie the intensity of the emotion burning inside of him. "Does that mean that you've always been watching? You know what all has happened... to us?"
It seemed petty and childish to say what he was thinking... to me...

جادو کی دیوی "Of course." Arithelia nodded patiently. "What is it you wish to ask of me?" The mortal's downcast gaze and fiddling fingers were enough to lessen Ari's smile. He was struggling with his words. There was stress; An emotional struggle. The pause in conversation would only be filled with the grasses dancing amidst themselves. Arithelia herself would pluck up a blade of grass to roll between her fingers as she waited. As Drew began his inquiry Ari's brows would slowly furrow. Not in anger or frustration. No, it was empathetic hurt. A worried gaze would form as she stared at the one across from her. The magi didn't even dare to make eye contact.
......... The wind would cease suddenly as if someone had flipped a switch off. The breeze itself had not been overpowering but with its absence the void of sound was deafening. "... I know what you ask." The Goddess began, the blooms that had been flowering within her antlers shriveled. The vibrancy in color would drain away until the dead witherings would fall off with soft sickening thuds. A few of them landing in her very lap where they were ignored.
"Don't ... Don't ever believe a God that says they know everything. Because we don't." Ari would begin, dropping the blade of grass from her grasp with a saddened sigh. "Not one of us does. I did what I could ... while I could." Would be her answer, the atmosphere's utter silence truly lending to the empty hollowed stillness. "What I could not see I heard. If ever you cried out my name I listened." Regardless if the mortal looked up or not Ari's gaze never deviated from him. "I've heard every cry, every scream, every whisper ...."
Those eyes narrowed in thought. "I recognize your voice. You've cursed me quite a few times." Ari grinned softly, an eyebrow raising in light humor. "But when you were younger you would repeat prayers after your mother. And when she died I remember your prayers of mourning." The deity's brows furrowed deeply, "And I remember you using one of my many names to beg for help when horrible things were being done to you." The woman nodded once, "I heard you ... I hear you." The deity's eyes welled with iridescent tears as she watched on. "And I am truly sorry for what you have been through at a time that I could not save you." آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: @drew

Damn. I think I just made a goddess cry.
Drew's chin lifted as he heard her explanation, his eyes narrowing. He had prayed with his mother? He couldn't remember her, couldn't remember a time when he'd known who Arithelia even was. His memories all began at ten years of age, although the files he'd read told him he'd been in the custody of Axium for two years before that. What she said... had he really mourned his mother for those two years? Had he loved her that much? It was hard to imagine that the faceless, nameless woman had meant so much to him when he was a child. He looked away, down at the grass beneath his boot as he swallowed hard. Whatever she said about not knowing everything, she clearly knew more than he did, even about his own past.
"I... I don't remember it," he said. "Don't remember her."
He looked back over at her when he heard the change in her voice that told him that she had started to cry. Gods could cry? He'd not known that. The idea that she was hurting because of his pain... It was oddly comforting. Somehow, knowing that she had been watching, that she'd cared... It made those years seem less lonely somehow. And at least she wasn't angry to know that he had cursed the nameless gods more times than he cared to amount, back when he was a teenager who still believed in such things. After many years of that, he'd stopped believing that there was anything out there, aside from what he could see. He was certainly being proven wrong now.
Her apology surprised him, but he said nothing to it, looking away at the rolling hills. Apologies didn't really mean much, in the end, but he didn't want to make her more upset. He knew from the tears that she already regretted not being able to do more, and he doubted that making her feel worse would accomplish anything.
"What's going to happen to us?" he asked, looking back at her after a moment. "The Magi race. We can't go on like this. Sooner or later, they're going to wipe us all out."
He was afraid for himself, because he had the sense to be, but he was more afraid for Lilith's sake. What would happen to her if the wrong person found out that she was in a relationship with a Magi? What would happen to her if Axium came back and found them again?

جادو کی دیوی With a gentle sway of the hand the tears would not be allowed to stroll down any cheeks. No. They plucked themselves into the air as delicate orbs, glistening. "You don't remember her?" The Deity would ask in a soft voice, one that was recomposing of her earlier upset nature. "You don't rememer your mother." The second phrase would be a sentence in understanding, not a question. "She was ... one who spoke my name every single day. Before every meal, upon every morn and every night."
The wind would remain in its still state even now. The silence surrounded the two as the Goddess glanced down to allow her fingers to brush the nearby untrimmed grass. "She called upon my name shortly before she died." The sentence would be said with a gentleness that rivaled the wool of a lamb. "She sacrificed her life to save yours. My faithful one loved you ... Since then she has been reborn but I believe she would have liked you to know that."
Nodding softly Arithelia would listen to the next question. The silence somehow seemed to grow in a voided volume. "You will live on." Would be her eventual answer after a time thought. "Even if my legacy is wiped from this world you will be reborn. Tatara is kind to his flocks. You will be okay." The final statement would be said, raising her gaze back up with a small smile and another swayed away series of orbed tears. "If I fail you this life time and the next, He will not." آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: @drew

Grrr.
She had sacrificed her life for his... He hadn't known. He wasn't sure how to take that information, whether it should make him feel guilty or loved. Was it possible to feel both at once? But she wasn't the only good person who had died to keep him alive. He would just have to continue to do as he had decided to do when Virgil had died. Live, and make his sacrifice worth something by helping whomever he could. It went against most of his ingrained instincts to risk his life when his continued survival depended on staying out of the public eye, but otherwise what was the point? His life wasn't worth more than anyone else's either way, but at least it was easier to live with himself this way.
Tatara... Wasn't that the name of the god of death? He looked at Arithelia with narrowed eyes as she spoke, feeling strangely angry at her resignation. He knew that things were bad, but if even the goddess of his people was resigned to their destruction, what hope could the Magi have for survival? He had always thought that his blood-lust had come solely from the wolf, but with its absence in his mind, he had to accept that perhaps it wasn't just that part of him that was a killer. The rage that he felt, the unholy desire to draw the blood of the people who had brought them to this place of despair, it was all from the more human side of his mind. Gods help him, he really was a killer.
"I won't let it happen," he said. "The humans have no right. If they think the Magi will simply lie down and die, they're wrong."
Drew was no stranger to raw hatred, but it was far from his default. Perhaps if he'd been born into a kinder world, he would have been nothing more than the musician that he was in his more peaceful moments, but the scars of the past had twisted him into something far darker. جادو کی دیوی As the final orbed tears dissipated in a glistening air Arithelia looked across to the man. "Hm," The Goddess would muse to herself before her brows furrowed delicately. "None of that." With a single elegant motion the deity would raise a hand to seemingly beckon. As the last of her fingers rolled into her palm Drew would experience a phenomena most peculiar. A swirling of strangely colored hues would arise from him. The mist would gather between them and was quick to gather itself in the form of a snarling wolf's head. It dared to even snap at the Goddess who provoked it forth. All the negativity. All the frustration, anger, hatred, bloodlust. It seethed and bared teeth. "Hush hush." With a movement Ari's hand, as if tugging on a leash, pulled the materialization of emotions down into the grass. If the figure were to try to bite the deity's hand would be out of view for it was now hidden amidst the untrimmed grass.
"You can have your anger back when we are done." Arithelia would state with a softness, her iridescent eyes shimmering. "Those emotions can be good to harness for accomplishing goals and assisting in survival. But here they will only cloud your thoughts. And I wish to have the most efficient discussion with you as possible." A hateful growl would sound before somehow being quieted by the hand that seemed to hold it down. Or at least one could assume this by the minimal movement the hand seemed to make within the grasses, all while maintaining her patient composure. Orion would be left without even the faintest ability to experience those emotions again until she released the wolf. It would most assuredly be a most foreign oddity. For indeed, what was left of Orion without his anger?
"I am personally glad to hear that." Arithelia would smile, the appreciation sounding sincere in her voice. "I have never been one to sit idly by watching destruction come as it may." The Goddess rose her chin ever so slightly as she continued, pride causing her eyes to dazzle without her realizing. "I have led my many children through many dark eras." Those eyes would narrow upon maintaining visual contact. "If you believe yourself to be a defender, I will grant you a gift. But I will ask of you to only apply justice where wrong has been done. Harming innocents angers me and you will not do it. In. My. Name. Do you understand?" The deity would wait. Perhaps he did not. Or perhaps the mortal had a further question to ask. آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: @drew

Damn, that was hard to write.
He blinked in confusion as the immortal lifted her hand toward him, and a swirl of color seemed to rise from his skin like a vapor, draining away the anger instantly. There was nothing he could do but stare as the vapor seemed to coalesce into something semi-solid. He felt strangely empty without it, like a blank slate, but he still could think clearly. What had she done to him? Was it permanent? He couldn't conjure up any fear or nervousness about the idea, as if the thoughts barely interested him. Was this what it felt like to be innocent? It had been such a long time since no part of his mind had been driven by some combination of rage, fear, or caution... Had he been like this as a child?
His eyes turned to Arithelia as she spoke to him, nodding once at her assertion that he could have the emotions back when they finished. The logical part of his mind was relieved by it, knowing that the fear of death was an incredibly useful instinct to hold onto during combat. Properly harnessed, fear was a powerful motivator, and he wasn't deluded enough to believe that anyone of sound mind could fight without it. But the peaceful part of his mind, the part that was finally free of the influence of those negative emotions... It was less eager to have them back. Still, it wasn't something optional, and so he turned his full attention onto her words.
She was glad to know that he would still fight against the end that many predicted for the Magi race. That was an encouraging thought. There was even a hint of pride in her eyes as she seemed to reminisce about eras past. What had happened back then? History wasn't exactly his strong suit, but in the absence of dark emotions, his more innocent ones seemed exaggerated. He still maintained a youthful curiosity, though he didn't often follow that impulse. Her question left him feeling oddly blank, and he reflected that it ordinarily would have been one that bothered him.
"I have no interest in harming the innocent," he said, dipping his head in acquiescence. "But I will do my best to defend those who can't defend themselves."
A series of faces ran through his thoughts, people he had defended since coming to Ethea, and even those from before. The majority of them were Magi, but there were others from Wuld that he had protected, like the young human girl from the Outskirts of Bruniik, who he'd protected on behalf of his mentor, who had taught him the importance of not standing idly by when evil was in front of him.

جادو کی دیوی Arithelia smiled softly at the little one before her. His acceptance of her conditions pleased her so. Continuing her firm grasp of the negative emotions in one hand the deity would collect her legs underneath her in a graceful movement. The airy material fluttering in like minded sways. "Allow me then." Kneeling, the Goddess neared, reaching her free hand towards the other. The deity's elegantly draped raiment would allow the position to remain modest. A gentle motion would lightly brush the man's hair from his forehead. Her skin would be soft. Silken velvet to the touch.
Caressing her finger tips down the side of the mortal's face, the thumb would position itself in the middle of his forehead. Here there would be pressure applied. "This does not hurt mortals. Though I will say, this is my first time gifting through the Great Muse's realm." Huh, even in her condition Ari was still accomplishing firsts. Silver linings she supposed. "Let us see ...."
.... There was nothing subtle over the shift in appearance. The deity's iridescent eyes would suddenly burst in vibrant light, causing near anyone to squint from the sheer dynamic energy. "I see ..." The deity would grin softly. An action that might have gone unnoticed due to the brightness her eyes had adorned themselves in. The magi would experience a warming sensation within his chest. As if those eyes were peering inside his very being. Reading. Witnessing. Enlightening.
"This is my gift to you." Would be her word choice as the mortal's brain unlocked a hidden potential. All at once would be a burning within him. A fiery spark without the sensation of pain. It was the equivalency of raw energy coursing through Drew at a rate that could leave one overwhelmed. The moment would appear to last lengthily though in reality it would only extend the summation of a few seconds. Both sets of eyes would finally dim of their exchange of energy, allowing Drew to witness a softly smiling deity.
"I used to take such delight in flight. Seeing a young one take their first strides into the air. The wonderment that filled your faces. It truly brought me joy." The Goddess would relax back into her previous position. Legs swept to the side of her, the gentle breeze would carry through once again. "There will most likely come a day where speed is not the only factor you will need in order to protect another. Or yourself." However, it would not take the most observant eye to recognize that the Goddess appeared ... younger? No longer a woman but more of a teenager's form now sat before Drew. آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: @drew

Would you like to close it out?
Drew watched her movements, staying still as he could. He wasn't sure what she had planned, but even if he'd had the capacity to feel fear at that moment, he wouldn't have been afraid of Arithelia. Some part of him knew that although she probably had the power to destroy him utterly, she wouldn't. She had a much kinder spirit than any other immortal he'd ever heard of. His eyes closed as her fingers brushed the hair from his face, and he felt her soft skin press to his forehead. There was only one other being in the universe that he would have trusted to be this close when his eyes were closed. When she spoke, his eyes opened again, and he was taken aback by her change in appearance as he could feel her power rise.
Her eyes glowed brightly, and his night-sensitive eyes were made a little uncomfortable by it, so he squinted a little but tried not to move otherwise. It didn't take long to feel the change, as her power made his magic react, and he could feel his internal temperature rise. It was an oddly soothing sensation, and as his eyes adjusted, he allowed them to open a little more fully to her examination. He had no secrets from her, and he knew that she saw to the depths of him, both the compassion and the darkness, and didn't reject him for it. Like so few, she seemed to accept it.
Something seemed to click in his mind, some corner that he hadn't realized was even there, and he felt his understanding of fire magic expand. Flight... He had never tried it before, and yet he knew that he could do it now. It was a strange sensation, this sudden confidence about a skill he'd never even attempted. The energy that accompanied the knowledge held a thrill of adrenaline that left him smiling fiercely, though there was no menace about him. More an intensity that mixed joy with the satisfaction that he had gained another advantage that would help him and those he loved. The sensation faded very slowly, and he closed his eyes to slow his breathing and calm down, though the smile remained.
When his eyes opened again, he tilted his head in surprise. She looked younger than she had been.
"Are you alright?" he asked her, concerned.

جادو کی دیوی ... "Hn?" Ari would ask, tilting her head at the mortal. "I feel ... fine. I'm fine." The Deity would state with a recovering smile attempting to mask the furrowing of her brows at such a question. Even in her dreams she couldn't help but show her weaker prowess, huh? Was that how it was? Ari was curious as to how her appearance could have shifted in such a way to be asked such a question. Just moments before he was nothing but peaceful with that content smile. It was saddening to her that something had occurred to replace that with concern for her well being. "I do get more easily fatigued in recent years." She would admit after a short moment of thought. "This was my first time blessing through a dream after all." Ari would laugh lightly. "Sleep is both bothersome and appreciated by me. A strange love hate relationship." The fallen deity's smile would grow as she laughed at her own words once again. "I never used to have to. It's still odd but I'm coming to appreciate the escapism. I'm sure you could agree on that to some extent at least--" Those iridescent eyes would glow a strange collection of hues as the Goddess' name would be called from seemingly no where in the far off distance.
-- .... Ari turned her head to the side as if listening for a soft sound again even though Drew would have not heard anything. But indeed, there it was again. A female voice calling Ari's name in a growingly more frantic tone. Desperation. The grass about the entire hillscape slowly began to wilt, yellowing and flattening. The teenage version of Arithelia that sat beside Drew would frown deeply as her eyes reflected more severe serious emotions. "Nevyne." She would state with clear articulation. Turning back to face Drew she would give a lesser apologetic smile. "Drew, this has been refreshing. I really truly enjoyed meeting you and I hope I assisted you in your questions at least a little."
The sky turned dark as the grass continued to wither further until the blades of grass would turn to dried brittle brown reflections of their past selves. A single touch would send them crumbling. Arithelia maintained eye contact in hopes that the Magi would not take notice of such happenings. "But unfortunately I need to leave now. Something bad is happening where I am currently sleeping. And I, I need to help. Okay?" She'd ask with the smile rivaling a military parent's telling their children that they were being deported over seas for duty.
Ari would lean forward once again to kiss the mortal upon the forehead as another calling for the one named Arithelia screamed out, sending the hills trembling. "If you pray to me I promise I will hear you. Always and every time." She would say, her voice soft. Raising her hand she would allow the earlier infuriated wolf to reenter the mortal. "Harness these emotions to assist you in your trials, my Child of Fire." Arithelia would say, caressing the man's cheek with her free hand. "But do not allow them to run your life. Do not forget to love." Ari would exchange one last smile with the mortal. "And remember that I care for you and always will." With that, the fallen Goddess would nod to the Great Muse who would have appeared behind Drew to teleport him away back to his own dreamscape. Just in time too. Not shortly after was the magi taken away did the dream's world shatter, forcing Arithelia to awaken to the shaking of the magi who was currently housing her. It seemed that hunters had discovered where they were after all.... آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: @drew Nevyne
