Friends

It might be hard to become friends with Zero. Her past has left her a little bit guarded and shut off from forming most relations. She was a human, but due to an accident years ago, she has become a cyborg. She no longer considers herself someone to befriend. She still holds some beliefs from when she was a human... The beliefs that cyborgs are lesser beings than humans. What human would want a cyborg friend? She has essentially cut off all ties with anyone connected to her past, so her friendships would basically be starting over.

The easiest way into her life would be to visit her in her shop. Zero fixes motorcycles and does other mechanic work, as well as odd jobs that require fixing and tinkering. She has loyal clients already, and by becoming one, you may become closer to being her friend. She does need friends. Everyone needs friends. Once you are her friend, she's loyal and protective, kind of like a mother bear with her cubs.

Rivals

It is really easy to get under her skin. Zero has always been a competitive woman and if anyone tries to challenge her and she loses, she will hold a grudge for a very long time. This is something her mother bore into her every day of her life. She had to be the best and rise to the top. Zero isn't the type to gloat about being the best, but it is super easy to see that she becomes really sour about losing. On the other end, if she does beat someone at something, she could easily gain enemies and rivals that way. It's in our nature to not like to lose, but some people handle that differently. Zero may seem calm and collected on the outside, but inside, she's trying to figure out the easiest way to dump your body without her getting caught.

Most Magi and even fellow cyborgs could be seen as her enemies, though she has slowly started to realize the bigotry in society and is starting to be more accepting. She honestly hates that she is a cyborg now because she had to give up everything she had ever worked for, but this life is much more freeing. Other humans could definitely hate her because she is becoming more lax about her status in society.

Lovers

Don't expect Zero to fall in love with you. Just... don't. A few years back, she experienced the worst break-up of her life. She even got extremely hammered one night and got a tattoo of the rune seal above her breast and heart to show that she is closed off of love for good! Maybe not for good, though. But it will take some time to get her to open up in that regard. She may not seem like it, but she is an extremely romantic person. When in love, she is caring and giving. Sex to her is something that should only be shared with someone she loves and trusts. She's not about to go to the Red Light District and hook up with anyone. Zero is careful and meticulous in almost all aspects of her life, especially when it comes to love. Feel free to bring on the romance plots, because I am a sucker for them. The more angst, the better! Have someone fall in love with her and she'll have to break their heart. Try very hard to cut into her life and make her never forget you. Have her feel so conflicted with her feelings, and then break her heart again. I'm all for any sort of romance plot.

Others

People in her past are supposed to stay there; in her mind, at least. But it is inevitable that she run into some of those people. She used to be a student at the Runic University, until an accident left her expelled and another student dead. The friends she made there would definitely wonder about where she is now, at least I would think so. I would like her to run into past students of the University (because those who went there when she was there would probably have already graduated) and maybe people still talk about what happened there so she could meet current students who might not know who she is? She also has a half-sibling that she has never met, as well as her mother who left her life when she was younger. These plots would be very interesting to develop, but they are not necessary.

Ideas

These are just scenarios which I think would be interesting for Zero's character, and perhaps your own! If you want to thread with her, perhaps this list could provide some inspiration if your character could help out with any of these, but by all means, you do not have to use this! If you have other plans, go for it! These are just some things I think would be fun~

• A casual thread in a bar, in which Zero may or may not get drunk.
• A character finds her shop, and hires her to fix some things.
• After a ride around the city on her beloved motorcycle, she encounters trouble.
• Zero encounters someone from her past (her ex, a fellow Runic University student, etc).
• It is raining, and Zero gets into a minor crash.
