 Following a recent number of smaller terrorist attacks the Ethean Government has chosen to propose a nation wide vote to its citizens. If voted into legalization the proposition would enforce a nation-wide Magi curfew (12 am - 6 am). This would make any magi outside between those hours a criminal breaking the law, open to being arrested and prosecuted. This would increase police and military presence along with prediscussed runic and hunter volunteers during those hours.
For: Meanwhile representative Valerie Ogary also gave a brief televised interview in response. "If we are serious in crushing terrorism and halting the destruction such hateful groups cause, we must take more deliberate action. Our enemies aren't holding their punches, why are we? If we do catch but one terrorist before they're able to complete their murderous campaign, saving just one life, is it not worth it? Is that one life not worth saving?" The woman senator would shake her head in turn. "I'm suggesting a plan that can save lives by making the shadow of night safer. The citizens of Ethea will be heard today and I believe they understand that this is a logical safety measure to make. If humans were the terrorist group spreading death with a mere snapping of their fingers, we would suggest a curfew on humans. But we're not."

"As promised, live coverage of the event continues up until the last few minutes. As you can see, the scenes across the country are lively to say the least. Hundreds of thousands of votes have been tallied already with more continuing to stream in as the minutes tick by. At near every voting location demonstrations have formed, both sides expressing -- well, screaming at each other at such a volume we are actually currently waiting for Zach to distance himself from the area so we can continue correspondence with him."
"But it might just be concluded by then."
"Eh, that is true. The polls close in just three minutes. But I'm sure he'll be available for any response that the crowds display. Of which we will, as always, immediately give you, our viewers, the results thanks to our nation's state of the art digital voting system that still stands strong today even after all these years of updating."

Rules:1) This is an open event for all to participate. All races are welcome to let their voice be heard. Or at least that's what the newscasters keep saying.
2) As extremely low of a chance there is for the sign-up / first portion of this event, we are giving awareness of the mortality rate. If you openly offend a person of high status, you're at least spending the night in a cell. Stolen property, assaulting someone, pick-pocketing, etc. If your character is stupid in these situations you as the member might want to reconsider before signing them up.
However once the actual second portion of the event begins the mortality rate warning might change. Tensions are high after all with this vote. Caution would be wise.
3) Secret Squirrel Stuff
The staff have decided to have a part two to this event that is perhaps a bit more exciting. It will involve randomized rolls. If you sign up using the form below you will be subject to having your seat belt buckled tightly for the second portion of this ride for at least one roll.
4) Groups
There is a chance you'll be paired up in the second part of this event through a randomized format according to your location. Just imagine, you might get paired with someone that you'd never get the chance to otherwise. New friends! =D .... hopefully! =D

I am here to cast my vote for my people and keep an eye on my brother-in-law (and/or) my priests. There is no sense in arguing with humans, as they have no reasonable bone in their bodies. The world would be safer if they were the ones under curfew.
