Why does there seem to be alot of reading?

We are an original concept with an original world, an original universe, with thousands of years worth of history and background. Our beautiful member base love learning new snippits about this lovely world of ours so the staff, in their wisdom, keep publishing more details about it. A manner of revealing the staff's hand a tad when it comes to the site wide plot that has been planned months, near a year in advance. So, yes, there can seem to be quite a bit of reading material. However, all of it is not necessary to know of before joining. The staff, whom I speak for, do not wish for the possibility of new members to be daunted by such readings leading to them being scared off."
