Welcome to your
Now this is interesting! Two individuals, separated by distance, age, experience… they could go their whole, long lives without knowing of the other, and yet they are more connected than they know. This dream wasn’t just joint; it was entwined. Curious, isn’t it, Oppy? An atheist and one whose prayers I’ve heard before. Well, let’s not dally, Opgraven; this should be the best show yet! Ahuhu~
Two magi in cells; Elijah recognized it; he’s been here before. Oh and he did recognize it. His eyesight worked once more, although details were hazy. But he’d also find that his magic wasn’t as strong; even the smallest bits took great effort, and his ability to feel through the earth felt conflicting with his long-lost eyesight. But he knew this was the cell he was held in after the incident, and just before Stella was taken from him.
The cell was dark, dirty, and he was locked behind iron bars. They’d give surprisingly easy, though. The outside area was full of musty cobblestone, with magi bones and parts tucked in a corner. No guards stood, and there was only a single exit: an open archway that led to a steep, ascending staircase.
And what of little Fey? Well, the prison was familiar to her, too. Her cell was much smaller, and the bars would not give to her. Three walls of stone, curved in to make the space seem like it was closing on her, and bars to the front; she could not see Elijah, nor he her, from where they sat. Her lighter was nowhere to be found. She barely had room to move an inch in any direction. There was a torch on the wall across from her, weak and low, and just like Elijah, she’d find it nearly impossible to make the flame dance. Next to it, on nail, was a key ring with two keys.
Were they to explore the room, they’d find a single, locked door at the top of a seemingly endless staircase. It was dark, so dark; what good was eyesight if he was just as blind as ever? And yet, there would be a door at the end. Though when opened, it would not be a camp they’d find, but a Dagos street.
W O R D S 378 M U S I C xxx T A G Elijah Kingsley | Fey Lomeli N O T E S We will have Fey start this one out. Take your time posting; I’ve given you much scene but there’s no need to rush. You two may post back and forth until you exit the door. I trust what you can figure out what the keys are for.

The dream of the future you see, dissolves...
Slowly, a blurry sense of sight came into focus, with each remaining sense responding in kind. The area was dank and dimly lit, walls of cool clammy stone surrounded on all sides save for one which was fitted with a set of rusted iron bars. Coming into lucidity the girl tried to move but simply found her shoulders bumping and grinding against the sides of the walls. Her eyes drew around once more in effort to grasp the lay of the area better, but there was little more to the tiny cell. Her hands moved for a pocket only to find nothing but empty space. Fey's teeth clenched behind her lips, she could feel her heart beat slowly rising, her body temperature beginning to rise and her skin taking on a familiar molten glow. [break][break] The girl's hands went to grasp tightly at the bars, peering out into a dimly lit hall. Her breaths drew in slow and deep, trying with her best effort to deny a rising paranoia and anxiety in her gut. She squeezed the bars tightly and the metal began to heat, but a few quick shoves and jerks proved the sturdy metal would not move. A small whimper escaped her before her attention turned to a dimly flicking flame across the hall. “Come on...” The small magi muttered, eyes narrowing, pouring her focus over the tiny flame, the glow of her skin further brightening. The flame responded feebly with a sway and a flick, doing little more than causing shadows to dance against the walls. [break][break] Her eyes traced around the area once more, flicking more quickly against the dim lighting, her feet shuffling anxiously only causing her to bump against the tiny curving walls even as she shrank away. “H-hello?! Is anybody there? W-why am I here? Somebody?” She called anxiously into the darkness, her mind already starting to spin. As the torch gently flicked, the glinting of keys hanging beside it caught her eye. [break][break] Fey pressed up close to the bars, a thin arm reaching for the ring as far as it would stretch, but never quite making it. The girl strained for a moment, cursing her small stature as she grasped and groped at thin air, before finally sliding to her knees with a shaky sigh.

Dat silent hill soundtrack Thanks for patience <3 Nothin' else seems to hurt like the smile on your face The chill was what came first. A familiar cold cast a field of goosebumps spreading over his arms. Elijah sniffed once as the man was soon pushing himself up off a bitterly cold stone floor. "The hell?" He muttered a soft inquiry as his eyes heavily blinked with surprise. This was a dream he almost humorously concluded as the world around him blurred into view. He must have passed out at his desk. Oh, Inés was going to be so annoyed when she realized that he'd fallen asleep on her reading a report to him again. It happened more often than the man cared to admit. Probably wouldn't even bother waking him up to express her exasperation. Chances were Elijah would wake up with drool on his desk and a blanket draped over him. A small grin stretched his lips as he thought to his assistant.
Annnnd would allow the grin to fall with a splat when his vision began to clarify enough to showcase his surroundings. As quickly as he'd confirmed he was dreaming, Elijah cursed under his breath. This wasn't a dream, this was a nightmare. The torch's lamp flickered as if in a medieval dungeon, casting grimmacing shadows through the bars. What sweet hell had his mind concocted this time? Gathering his feet beneath him he unconsciously shivered once more at the cool air. He usually didn't experience touch in his dreams where sight was also in play. This was ... this was odd. Shaking his head, Elijah fought to loosen the tightening in his chest.
"Hello?" Elijah called back in response to the female inquiry. It wasn't a familiar voice. "I'm here." The female presence didn't seem to know anymore than he did. "Just, hold on, hun. Hold on. Give me a second." The older magi curled up a fist with a sense of ease as reared it back, aiming for one of the bars. His voice was parent like, soothing. The other's voice expressed clear anxiety. "I'll get us out of --" The painful thunk that sounded as a shocked Elijah hissed, quickly the earth magi was shaking his hand in a state of disbelief. That bar should have popped out easily. Beyond easily. This was a piece of cake. He did'nt feel any grogginess or intoxication caused by downers. His fist meeting the metal bar with such a strict refusal had left him wide eyed and staring in astonishment. Not only had such an easy task been failed, it had hurt. Like, hurt hurt.
Elijah stared down to the throbbing knuckles. Why did that hurt? This much at that? This was ... This was a sort of dream he'd never experienced before. Since when did pain strike you that severely in a dream? Especially without startling you awake? "I ... Hold on, hun." He said again, shaking his hand continuously as his eyes swiftly caught sight of the keys. Pausing a moment the ground beneath him refused to even give Elijah a clearer view of the scene around him. The vibrations and waves that traveled through the ground that usually gave clear visuals were now muddied. Almost as if the earth itself were drunk. He didn't have time for this shit.
"Why don't you tell me about yourself while I work on this." He called, again, trying to create a sense of calm. An adult was there to take care of the situation. Panicking only proved to worsen situations. Not improve them. He had used similar techniques when rescuing children of his race from dangerous circumstances as well. "Why don't you tell me your name, hun? My name is Elijah." He said in the kindest tone he could muster as his hands gripped the metal bar with a brow furrowing sense of determination. This was going to take a while. But gods dammit, if he wasn't going to give it his damndest. when it's only in my memory Minnie of GS

The dream of the future you see, dissolves...
Before long a voice piped out from across the dimly lit room, a man. Her head rose, eyes squinting to try and make anything out, but she could see little. Whoever he was he sounded quite calm, too calm for the situation at hand, she was sure. Things were amiss here, in this odd waking dream. She couldn't even move the fire which should have been childs play. A mere moment later it seemed the man was met with the same realization, exhibited by a cracking thud of an impact and a hiss of pain in the distance. When the next voice came, it sounded less sure than before. [break][break] Fey focused on her hands, moment by moment the magma flow of her hands glowed brighter and brighter until reaching a white hot pitch. Her teeth clenched and she stood, roughly grabbing at the bars of her cell again. The metal seemed to sizzle beneath her grip but refused to budge despite pulling and pushing with every bit of strength her small body could muster. She could feel tension ever rising, an unseen pressure baring down on her from the sloping walls she bumped against with most every movement. [break][break] After a pause the voice from the darkness spoke up once again. Tell him about herself? Her name? In this situation, what did that even matter. “Stop calling me that! I'm nobodies HUN, I'm not some damsel in distress! I don't need everyone to rescue me gods dammit!” The girl shouted, her frustration and building anxiety quickly boiling over, the tone of her skin responding building in brightness for a moment before flowing back downward to an orange red glow as she let her body temperature drop back down, a heavy sigh heaving from her lungs. “My name is Fey...” she concluded, the admittedly slightly embarrassing outburst. What else she could say after that she was hardly sure and so the girl fell silent, an eye hopelessly tracing around the dark room once more.

Dat silent hill soundtrack Heart you, Fey <3 Nothin' else seems to hurt like the smile on your face Elijah paused in his actions at the response he was given. A harsh tone snapped back at him. It was a bit whiplashing to be honest. Just moments before the voice had been panicked, which was understandable given their unkind surroundings. But this, this crafted a small grin upon the man's face. "Alright, I'll try to catch myself from now on." Hun seemed to be a trigger word for the stranger under similar unfortunate circumstances. Noted. It was an old fashioned habit for the magi. Most younger women in his life tended to withhold from bristling at the term of endearment. And most magi he found himself rescuing didn't mind the term either, finding solace in not only being saved but at the very idea someone could care for them. Such was the sad mindset Hunters and other racist groups attempted to brainwash them with.
"Fey is a very pretty name." The grin softened at hearing the heavy sigh and change of tone. Frustration and fear had a way of shoving people into snappier moods. He didn't take it personally, it was the stress. That sigh proved it. "It's nice to meet you." Elijah added with a social ease as his eyes closed. Why was this so difficult? Those deep brown eyes of his were squeezed tightly in concentration as the metal bars slowly but surely began to bend. His arms shaking slightly from the effort of pulling them apart.
"So, uh ..." The man huffed quietly as he pulled at the bars again, his muscles straining as the bars slooooowly obeyed. "Do you know what's going on here? I mean ...." The man took a moment to breath, allowing his arms to relax. "I know you're just a figment of my imagination but ...." The man pulled at the bars again, teeth gritting at the effort. "It would be nice to know what hell my brain has ... come up with and why." Another forced yanking motion and the man would roll his shoulders, releasing the bars to shake them out. If the young woman had a reply to his odd questioning he would listen to it quietly. Pondering.
It would be here that Elijah would attempt to at least squirm his way through the widened bars. It would take a while. A few sounds of quiet struggling would probably escape his lips before his chest would slip through the other side. Soon followed by his lower half until the man was standing in the hall, rubbing the shoulder that had been last to squeeze through. Walking over to the opposite wall the older magi would collect the key ring before turning for the first time to the cell where the female voice originated from. It was funny that even with his sight in such dreams, he found himself still utilizing his hearing more than his eyes. Outside of dreams he hadn't had them for eight years now after all. However, before inserting the key and freeing the other, Elijah would ponder this Fey's verbal responses which I'm sure will cause a thought or two of concern. when it's only in my memory Minnie of GS

The dream of the future you see, dissolves...
She felt frustrated, entirely on edge. The calm way the man down the hall, Elijah he called himself responded only seemed to pick at already fraying nerves. How could anyone stay so calm, waking up in such a situation? Especially after being snapped at by a stranger. Maybe it was from some nebulous feeling that none of this was real, or maybe simply some strange figment of the mind. Her thoughts span around and she stayed quiet for the moment. Whatever words she could have had hardly felt like coming to her at the moment. She wondered how it was nice to meet her at all. Through her eye, there was nothing nice about this. [break][break] A bit of silence, then more words. The voice distinctly more strained. Fey blinked, her brow furrowed a bit. How would she have known what was going on. And what did he even mean by- wait, what? “A figment of your imagination?! What are you even...?” Her mind siezed, and then gears began to turn. Right... this wasn't real? It was a dream. There was no way she could have physically gotten to a place like this otherwise. At the same time, it all felt too real. A single finger ran over one of the rusted bars of her cell, noting each ridge and groove in the texture. She had vivid dreams in the past, but nothing quite so real. “I'm no figment...” Fey muttered tentatively, that was the one thing she could have been sure about. [break][break] “But if I'm not, then...” She continued speaking for a moment, before trailing off. Her attention slowly drifted away from the confines of her cell, considering the cells. “Something isn't right here...” She sighed, light footsteps were approaching. Did he get out? A hand went to her cheek giving it a sharp pinch, nothing but a small pain pricking the flesh. That sort of thing was supposed to wake you, but she was still here. “Some sort of magic, maybe.” A hand went to her hair, tussling it with a frustrated huff. [break][break] Too little information, there was no way she could make any sort of good guess as to what the hell was going on, who was real, what was real, what was not. “Listen... if you think you're real, and I think I'm real, then theres something really messed up going on right now.” Fey called out, her voice still a bit tense. It sounded obvious to say at this point, but that was the only thing she could see as true at the moment. Maybe she was really a figment, and this was all simply an elaborate construction...

Dat silent hill soundtrack These two are going to hit heads I can already see it coming Nothin' else seems to hurt like the smile on your face This Ms Fey was a young one, especially of one of their race. The young lady was a teenager, a twenty year old at best. An immediate reassuring soft smile would greet the fiery eyes of the new acquaintance. Fiery in both determination and hue. The girl's long hair gently caressed her curved horns with every motion it seemed. Not to mention the light whispery glow of the woman's skin. I mean, Elijah had assumed the newcomer was a magi to be in such a similar place as this with him. But it was nice to have that confirmed.
"Real?" Elijah stopped dead in his tracks, one of the two keys hovering just outside the other's door. "Well of course you think you're real." He dismissed the concept as he continued in the motion. This was reality, not a teenager's fantasy vampire story where two people could share in one dream. When the key refused to turn Elijah spun the keyring round once to attempt the second key. "And I'm not going to argue with an imaginary friend as to why they're not real. So listen up. Apparently my mind has a nightmare set up for me, probably due to the stress I've been under, and it's given you to help me get through it ... probably." The lock clicked as the man was then able to easily swing the barred door open, the hinges squeaking harshly.
The man sunk his hands into his jeans pockets with a sigh. Arguing with himself was just as annoying asleep as when he was awake. "So, come on. The sooner I wake up the sooner I can get back to work." And there he'd wait with what was soon a deteriorating sense of patience. The atheist had never heard of any sort of strange magic that would combine dreams of two "real" people. So the concept was not only foreign but highly unlikely. Surely something so intense would have been known of by now in today's modern age. when it's only in my memory Minnie of GS

The dream of the future you see, dissolves...
Soon a darker skinned man with a head of curled black hair arrived before her tiny cell, fiddling with the ring of keys from across the hall. She was unsure how he managed to get out of his cell, the bars on her own surely refused to budge. But it didn't matter, dreams often didn't add up in the way they should, especially not one as off kilter as this. When he spoke up Fey blinked, tilting her head to the side, eyes narrowing and arms crossing to her chest. NOW what was this man saying? It felt more like he was talking to himself than talking to her at all. Given the context that may have very well been the case. [break][break] “I don't think anything... I'm no ones imaginary friend...” Her eye turned down towards the floor, a faint sigh escaping her lips. That was true. That was all she was sure could be true at the moment. She had went to sleep on the cot in her safehouse after a warm shower, and the next moment she was here. That was the truth. The words were annoying all the same, uncomfortable even. The squealing hinges of her cell door did little to ease the feeling, especially with some accusatory phantom standing before the door. [break][break] “You're not going to argue, huh...” Fey murmured, followed by a single dry laugh, more like a coarse breath huff. “You're mind, You're stress, well don't you just sound oh so confident...” Her voice continued with only brief pause, fingers beginning to anxiously tap in rhythm from index finger to pinky against her arm. “But why would I even feel like helping someone with such a condescending attitude. Who's to say you're not the imaginary friend anyway?” The small statured girl continued, a foot beginning to idly tap against the stone flooring. [break][break] “Like anyone would even need a friend like that, anyway. Put on the nicey nicey act then drop it as soon as its inconvenient. Based on what? Some delusional sense of self importance?” Fey heaved a sigh as she stepped forward out of the cell, and away from the man before her. “Thankyou for opening that, but I'm not some little fairy conjured to pull you out of your rut. Don't act so full of yourself, don't act like you could possible know everything. It'll just turn around to bite you.” The words were snippy and harsh, perhaps presumptuous even, but the girl found herself frustrated beyond words at the moment. What sort of dream was this? Could she really even be sure this was a dream? Hers were certainly never this vivid, as to have a full conversation within one. All the same, with her piece said her attention moved back to scanning the room. The visage of a massive staircase stood down the hall from her, with the faint glinting of what could only be a door. [break][break] She sighed, if whatever this was wanted to play by proper laws of reality it would have taken ages to reach it. She hoped things could bend in her favor for once.

Dat silent hill soundtrack Thanks for patience <3 Annnd sorry for dick Elijah He doesn't come out often XD
Nothin' else seems to hurt like the smile on your face The murmerings would go unhead by Elijah. So when the sass and attitude came his way, the older magi stood there with furrowed brows. Being in a leadership position and having no romantic interest in his life anymore, he was by far not used to this sort of interaction anymore. Those dark brown eyes squinted momentarily to consider if this younger lady was his brain's messed up way of reminding him of Serena. His since passed wife had been one who was not shy about metaphorically slapping sense into him. Elijah could have a narrow view of the world. It was the subject of many a lecture with hands upon hips back then.
And yet, here he was.
Some teenager telling him to stop existing in his own snowglobe world. A teeny girl, in his own dream, was being snippity at him. "Mmmmhm." Would be his audible reply as his eyes watched this Fey leave her cell. Sure he had heard whisperings about people who claimed to share dreams with another living person. But ... come on. Seriously? Dreams were, at best, subjective sensations experienced whilst sleeping. A collection of perceived images, sounds, voices. It was the process of transferring memories from the hippocampus to the cerebral cortex. That was science. That was proven. The idea that one could skip through a field of strawberries with a loved one in a shared dreamscape? It was stupid. It was hopeful in the worst of ways. Same for those that felt their loved ones floated around them as ghosts, spending their "after life" moving keys and wallets around.
This snippity girl was nothing more than either a memory or a representation of something. Whatever personality she was equiped with wasn't choosing to be self-aware and logical about the situation. It believed itself to be, what? Real and him the imaginary friend in this equation? Fine, whatever. If the dream wasn't going to allow himself to be openly self-aware, then he'd play along to an extent. The sooner he woke up the sooner he could get back to work. "I'll keep that in mind." He would say, his tone flat but not out right disrespectful. Arguing would most likely only prolong his snooze. There was a war to fight. He didn't have time to sleep, psh.
Elijah's gaze would follow the other's, resting on the staircase. With it being the only entry/exit to this unwelcoming guest quarters, it was clear where they needed to go. "Well, since you're a self proclaimed non-fairy, would you like me to say "Ladies first"? Or would you like me to head out first?" Elijah would ask, his sarcasm much more watered down than how he was feeling at the moment as he began to take his first steps towards staircase. Darkness didn't scare him. He was used to darkness. What had him worried was the ground beneath him not allowing a clear view of the world around him through his sense of feel, as he used when awake. when it's only in my memory Minnie of GS

The dream of the future you see, dissolves...
A heavy sigh escaped the girls lungs. In little more than a few brief moments, this entire situation had become unbearably frustrating. What would this meeting have been like in the 'real world' she wondered. It was hard to think anyone this bull headed could be present in any form. She found herself hoping this really was just some concoction of her own minds stress and her psyche playing some, admittedly very odd, games with with her. Better than having someone so frustrating out and about in the world. [break][break] Fey crossed her arms, her back staying turned to the man as she stood before the stretch of steps. A finger tapped against her forearm, a small hum traveling up her throat. “It seems like you're in a hurry...” Fey started idly, a small observation based on the man's seeming impatience. She went quiet for a moment, before turning and taking a gentle seat down upon the steps, one leg crossing over another. “Thats too bad, because I'm really not.” Fey leaned back a bit, the palms of her hands setting against the steps, the leg crossed over the other swaying gently. “I could use a good nights sleep, really. So maybe we just stay here for a little while. Like a little vacation, and it hasn't cost a cent.” As she spoke she gave a bright smile, her position relaxing, no longer paying much mind to the door glinting at the end of the long path of stairs. [break][break] “Oh I hope thats not a problem, though. Not following on your coat tails like a good little figment. Maybe you can just go leave without me.” She paused, a small shrug of the shoulders, speaking nonchalantly. For the most part. “Or maybe you cant? Who can say, this entire thing hardly feels normal.” Fey tilted her head a bit,her eye moving upward seemingly staring off into space for a moment, lost in a second of thought. [break][break] “Then again when is a dream ever. Mine are always strange, and I have plenty. Its funny, I can barely even tell a dream from a nightmare, most of the time.” Fey gave a small laugh, which would have almost seemed too natural for the situation, before falling silent, content to keep her seat upon the stairs.

Dat silent hill soundtrack Thank you for your patience Nothin' else seems to hurt like the smile on your face "Yeah, you could say I'm in a hurry." Elijah responded, trying to keep the annoyance out of his voice. This dream was officially aggravating as all hell. Those dark brown eyes that the dreamscape had blessed him with watched attentively as the teenager sat down. He was not the best with this sort of attitude. The girl would continue to speak in that delightfully blissful tone that sent pins and needles up Elijah's arms. He was not used to this anymore. He was one of the bosses after all. The nonchalant shrug actually pulled a full frown out of the man. The older magi would stand there a short while, not quite fuming but definitely steeped in thought.
"I ... was never going to be good at that." He'd say quietly to himself. If the seemingly random sentence weren't quite heard to one not listening intently it would probably sound of hushed grumblings of gibberish. The teenage years. He was never going to be good at that. Serena had always been the one snappy with come backs and sass. When they had ended up birthing a little girl in the camps Elijah had stated his concerns to a then chuckling wife. She had rolled her eyes at him, standing there with a worried look upon his face while holding the craddled infant as if it were a foreign heirloom. "I'm not worried. Where you suck I'll be able to pick up the slack with ease." Well, Serena wasn't here to pick up the slack. Not with this girl.
A sigh would exit his lips as he shrugged. "Fine. I think it's safe here anyways. I've never been one to just sit around so you relax for the both of us, kay?" The man would attempt a smile back to the teenager before stepping around her and beginning the climb up the long staircase. "I hope your dream vacation is nice, Fey." He would say over his shoulder as he gave a single wave. No, Elijah didn't fair well with teenagers. That's what he would say to himself. In seeing that magi tended to age at different rates, this Fey could have been over one hundred years old as far as he was aware but the categorizing her in "teenage attitude" land seemed to be the easiest to deal with it at the time. "Sorry if I was being an asshole." Would come the softer apology. The words would most likely only be heard if the pitch dark void of space allowed sound to carry. An echoing along with his footsteps.
If left uninterrupted in his actions the man would reach the door at the top. Elijah believed himself to be fit so there would be no panting after the lengthy staircase. Reaching a hand forward he would turn the knob, opening the door with a natural caution that the scenery demanded. when it's only in my memory Minnie of GS

“No wonder you're so high strung...” Fey sighed a reply to the mans mumblings, whether they were meant for her to hear or not. If he could not even slow down in a dream she had to wonder how much of a mess this person must have been in the flesh and blood. If nothing else he seemed to have dropped the self centered notion of this entire thing being crafted for him. Or at least neglected to keep picking at the point. “I guess a dank cellar is better than the burning camp for the hundredth time...” Fey replied idly, her voice falling with a sigh of her own. This sort of scenario being a reprieve from anything was nothing short of depressing. [break][break] The man passed by, and a faintly heard apology came a midst echoing footsteps. Her teeth lightly clenched, hands curling up together, tips of her thumbs sliding against one another. The girl's head fell a bit, forehead planting against her knees. Really, she didn't want to stay here any more than anyone else would. It was hardly hospitable. She stayed for a moment, letting her head click about before bringing herself back to feet. [break][break] “I guess... I got a little ahead of myself, too...” Fey spoke in reply, turning to make her own way up the stairs, stopping a fair distance away from the top. It was uncomfortable, but who knew how long she would actually be stuck in this dreaming limbo if she chose to stay sat on those stairs. [break][break] Soon, her eye drew up to the door as a motion was made to open. She could not help but gulp lightly, one could never know what would be beyond a dreams doorway, after all.

Welcome to your
The door would open without fuss, and no surprises awaited them. Well, besides the location itself; they were in a city. Fey would recognize it immediately as the slums area of Dagos; familiar territory for her. To Elijah, it may be unfamiliar to see it rather than feel it, although the ground below felt oddly familiar… he’d been here before, many times. And there was only one person in Dagos he went to see consistently. Fey would notice it too; this was the alleyway that led to Maevia’s office.
Above them, clouds of pale orange rolled like a shifting fog. Debris scattered about in a light breeze, sending papers and empty bottles rolling past the two. At first glance, they were the only two in the entire city; the bustling noise of traffic and sirens was absent, leaving the area as placid as Loch Perilleux. The distant sound of a door opening and closing down the alley to the right would alert them that they were not alone. Maybe half a block down the alley, they would see a young woman. Lilac-colored hoodie, green hair, and a cybernetic arm. Even Elijah knew who that was on sight.
The way she walked was hurried, away from them, never even looking in their direction. Her head did snap around up, down, and side-to-side, like a nervous bird. Was she stuck here, too? If they would call, she would not hear. Eventually she opened a very familiar iron door, and entered her office. Whether or not the two decided to follow and open the door as well was up to them.

Dat silent hill soundtrack Thank you for your patience Nothin' else seems to hurt like the smile on your face The stark visual contrast set Elijah's eyes fluttering. The pitch black atmosphere of the stairwell would be suddenly interrupted by a city scape. An eerily quiet city scape. It had been quite the few years since Elijah had seen the city of his college years. But he recognized it. There used to be an excellent Ikigaian place a few blocks from here before the Relocation Camps forced them to close. A small hole-in-the-wall place that somehow stayed open through the sheer deliciousness of their food, despite their poor location. Shortly after his sense of imagined sight was blindsighted, his sense of touch would be as well. The moment he stepped over the threshold of the door frame, his feet could sense little to nothing. Almost as if the slums were utterly emptied.
That was until a single door opened to reveal a young woman to take her leave of them in the opposite direction. Mae. It was utterly surprising that he could recognize the girl at all honestly considering he'd never actually seen her. But it was unmistable. Her mother's hair. Her father's nose. That was Maevia. He knew it. He could feel it in his gut that this was truth.
Elijah's feet picked up vibrations of Fey as she would cross over into the alleyway. "Follow me." He'd say without allowing his attention to be stolen away from the familiar figure. "She's a friend." Elijah would begin his quickened paced walk towards the green haired cyborg. If Fey would give any sort of indication that she knew the young lady as well, only then would he turn his attention sideways, partially allowing a genuinely interested glance. "How do you know my niece?" He would ask in this circumstance, all the while continuing to follow this version of Maevia. when it's only in my memory Minnie of GS

The dream of the future you see, dissolves...
The door swung open to reveal the familiar dingy streets of Dagos. Fey wasn't surprised, her dreams were often formed in the labyrinthine streets. After all, much of her life was spent scrambling through them. For a few moments, her eye drew around quizzically, until her focus was pulled away. A familiar figure in the distance, baring a distinct set of colors to her. “Mae...!” She took one step forward, her voice catching in her throat for a moment. Elijah spoke up, with a series of lines that caused the girls eyes to quickly flick back to the man beside her. [break][break] “I... uh... she...” Fey's gaze flicked back to the figure in the distance as the pair moved, searching for the right words as her attention fixated on the green haired woman. “She... got me out of a bad situation... I guess... I'm helping her now... or trying to.” She replied finally, her own pace picking up for a moment, before slowing once again as more thoughts rose to the surface. [break][break] “Your...niece?” Fey asked, somewhat skeptically. Maevia was a cyborg, a human. And this man, he was a magi. The two hardly bared any resemblance. How could they have been related? He did, however, know her name and seemed to recognize the woman. Fey ran a hand through thick hair, continuing forward with a light 'tsk'. Now she felt things getting weird. Weirder than they already were. “I'd like to think we're friends...” The girl muttered absently, her gaze once again fixating on the figure of Maevia. She wanted to run for her, but was it really her? Who knew what this dream could hold. Could all three of them really have been pulled into the same place? She was beginning to doubt things.
