Maevia has information on Magi and that is Rory's top priority [even higher than maintaining Order even.] Rory would be in major debt if she were to provide this information to him and might even let a Magi or two escape Glory's hateful hands with "accidental" miscalculations.

"This thing recording? Huh, guess that it is. Anyways, yeah, I'm always looking for work, so long as it stays on the up and up: no slave hunting or anything of that sort. Not much of a people person, so talking might not be the best option. Pretty good at getting people to fessup to something though; somethin' of a gift. Tracking is one of my strong-suits, so is fling some punk kids with holes. A bit rusty when it comes to slingin', but that'll come back to me with some time on the range.
......
Welp, that's 'bout it. Hit me back if you come up with something."

@rory Absolutely. It would depend on how much he’s looking to know, but he seems to be fresh and young, looking to learn about the world. She could certainly paint him an image of Magi that isn’t tainted by the lens of prejudice; personalities, abilities, history (after all, he was young during the breakouts and genocide, wasn’t he?). Information for future favors owed is her favorite type of deal; for now, the promise of giving a magi or few an escape path when they’re in dire straits is a great exchange (Seriously, this is the type of creativity I like to see). And then in the future, she could trade more info for information about the hunter’s guild. But for now, let’s go magi knowledge for favor. He seems like a newbie to… many things. A first meeting for us seems the ideal place to start. It’s easy to hear OF Anansi and of Maevia in unofficial circles so he would easily know of the Web, but maybe not any details? He’d be going into a meeting blind, down in her home turf of Dagos. How does that sound? Assuming he had made contact via messaging first and then meeting in person? Daniel Caim I'm going to try to have Maevia facilitate a thread between you and someone else; I'll have you do some task, and if the other party agrees, I'll give you more details and have you make an opening post. You won't even know who you're going to run into- exciting, hm? Let me know if that works for you.

That works just fine with me. Just let me know when you've set this meeting up and I'll provide whatever services you're looking for.

Maevia Inclemens - The comment is much obliged! It was either that or offering combat/survival training which probably wouldn't have been that useful... aha. His first encounter with Magi was the outbreak, 8 years ago making him 15 years old at the time. As for your topic idea, I think I'm down with this. It would be easy to hear of the information broker and at some point in his time before or during his career, he'd have offered business with her for information. I think we could play the meet as one of his (NPC) friends had arranged their meeting and acted as a middle man.

@rory
That works by me. I have quite a number of threads ongoing so any starter from me might have to wait; if you don’t mind setting a scene for us with an opening, I think we have something going. Any location in Dagos is good by her. Details would have been minimal beforehand; you want this, you offer what you have. No guarantees made. We’ll hash out the details in RP of exactly what you’re looking for and exactly what Rory is willing to offer.
Sound good?

I can see Audrey and Maevia meeting for sure. Audrey does odd jobs, and odd jobs often need information to find. Audrey's in Dagos City, is also a cyborg, and she can sometimes be open but also be closed off (I honestly don't know which way she'd react to Maevia). Either way it might be interesting to drop them in a thread together and see how they react.

Audrey Odd jobs are her specialty. If Audrey wants to be an “agent” of hers, they could have a long-standing history of working together. Agent to her really means “you go about your life, and if you find anything interesting, report it to me, and you’ll get access to favors and money. Also I might call on you to do things you specialize in;” basically all under the table, unofficial work, consisting of odd jobs, and doesn’t really impede your freedom at all (She even has a faction). If that doesn’t appeal, yeah, she can be like a “client” of Maevia’s; you give, and you get. Honestly Mae is super closed off too; it’s kind of her nature, and the nature of her work as a broker. She’d probably appreciate that about Audrey. I think we have something here. What do you think? Depending on how you feel about the above we could thread a first meeting or an assumed, long-standing (or semi-long-standing) business arrangement.
