Members of the Guild moved too and fro freely within their domain without a single inkling of a strange occurrence happening upon their territory. Each member was lost performing their job in their own timely fashion by either taking calls, reports, or even taking time to organize their daily routines in order to keep the Guild functioning. This would include even the cells, each member scheduled to be in that particular area was under task of keeping it well maintained. While those that awaited their sealed fate to end or be sent out back to the world. All of this depended on the hunter that held them for whatever reason they choose. But those who lived outside the office honed their skills out in the courtyard in a zone designated for that purpose alone. Clashes of steel, bone, and the snarling teeth of familiars was a pleasant and common sound to be heard in this section of the Guild. The air here had the strong scent of sweat and blood that any strong noised hunter could smell. It was so thick that it could easily be sliced with a knife just like the violent tension that clang to well trained bodies of cubs. This is where a young woman took refuge among the trees to rest beneath its weeping branches. The tree itself was a pale weeping willow that took care to not even graze past the figure while the air forced its movements. It was rather surprising how not a single hunter took notice of her presence beneath the tree. Though, it might be a silent understanding among them that she as nothing more then another one of Kalidas pack. She looked rather normal with her mocha skin and dark hair gathered into thick dreadlocks that reached past her waist. Even her attire made her blend in extremely well with her cloth and leather made corset with a built in short bustle of leather that rested over fitting pants. Though one would have to wonder how such a woman could fight in four inch heels. Though the appearance of being unarmed would mean nothing in this environment. Her icy gaze that fell upon her fellow Hunters was one of observation and interest. She was particularly enjoying watching a group of three going against each other. Some blows landed while others caused them to be flipped on their back or to eat a bit of the gravel at their feet. Now this was entertainment for her that made her smile. Touching her bottom lip with a thick nail she pondered on who might be the victor in this scuffle and who very well would lose. She favored the male in blue but that meant nothing in this play fight among her pups. Her favor would not win him any points. |

[attr="class","de1"] The teenager had been stuck in the hunter academy all day. She hadn’t been able to wander out and about like she normally did, because apparently, her father wanted to introduce her to someone. She wasn’t sure who, but it was important enough for the man himself to show up after her last class and escort her the way to wherever they were going. It was a nice enough day outside, the teenager thought it was a bit too bright though.
Either way, she was wearing the uniform of the academy and had her bow slung over her shoulder. It was important that she had it with her. The teen had originally planned on going to the range after school. Well, that plan had changed, she wasn’t going to just leave her bow somewhere. It meant too much to her. Besides, the girl knew that if she got in trouble, it was her best way out of that said trouble. She felt like this was going to be trouble either way, but she wasn’t sure exactly.
The father was being mysterious about it, and even now as she was being led down the hallway the teenager was scowling at not knowing what was going on. Apparently, they were being led to what Maia had dubbed the Gladiator’s Court. It was a courtyard that had multiple areas of battle going on, almost like it was one giant area. Mostly she tried to stay out of the way, following her supposed father. She would nod as she was led down the path. Apparently, her father had pointed someone out that they were going to go see.
As they approached the willow tree Maia would look the woman up and down before looking back to her father. Why did he want her to meet this mocha colored woman again. Oh no, was it another lover of his? Wasn’t one enough? Maia already dreaded Thursday nights. She had taken to kidnapping river in order to stop the deed from happening. It was just gross in all sorts of ways. Looking the woman under the tree up and down Maia would scowl, “Hello.” The voice that she used was harsh and sounded foreign. She had been told she should at least try to speak in Ethean, so she was trying. The girl pointed to herself and opened her mouth to speak, “Maia Nomi.” She then pointed to her father. “Biological Father.” There that would be the explanation she would give, and hopefully it would be short enough to placate her father. She had learned the word biological, even looked it up. The teenager felt that it described her and Oliver’s relationship well enough.
There wasn’t much else to it.

[attr="class","ttop"]
welcome to the Nightmare in my head
say hello to something scary
the monster in your bed just give in and you won't be sorry
[attr="class","oone"] [attr="class","tbbody"]This was not a day Oliver had been looking forward to. Granted, there were very few days or events that the man found himself excited for or wrapped up in anticipation over. Lasagna nights with River and the rarer nights he allowed himself to act upon his messy hobby were probably the closest he came. Sex and killing. Both involving blood. Not too far from what he was expecting from this meet and greet that he was currently walking towards. Oliver doubted it was going to go without a hitch. Blood was probably going to be involved. But it was probably going to be his blood and under circumstances that were not in his favor or control. He doubted his deity was happy about his absence from Her temple. Or how his injury and hospital time had slowed his approach to formally christen his biological daughter to Her faith. Who knew? Maybe Kalidas was in a pleasant mood because of the new officer who had just been promoted. All officers in the Guild knew what that meant for their relationship with their Goddess. If one were a virgin in the Hunters Guild, one did not claim that title after being promoted. So it would have caught Oliver off guard to catch sight of his Goddess on his way to Her temple. There She was. In the damn courtyard in that human form Oliver had been introduced to many years ago. The recognition was an instant phenomena that set his eyes aflame. "There." Oliver would say, nodding in the beautiful woman's direction. "That is who you are meeting today." So much for the privacy of the temple. Eh, if Kalidas felt the need he was sure She'd poof them there along with her. Without much hitch the two would make their way over. Oliver would be inhaling to properly announce their greetings to such a powerful and ancient being when apparently his daughter thought of jumping to that task herself. Nails. On a chalkboard. Oliver could feel his actual body jerk at the, very much, incorrect way in how to greet a Deity. Especially this Deity. His deity. There was no graceful way of reaching to forcefully grab Maia's arm from speaking further without appearing a fool since she stood at his side with a casted arm in a sling. Displaying foolishness would just get him into a further in depth hole. At this point it was best to separate ties socially, showing a very clear distinct difference in their approaches. Oliver would bow his head, eyes to the ground as he fantasized about smacking his daughter across the face, hard. "I apologize for the ignorant pup. She doesn't yet know who she is talking to." Oliver's attention would remain downwards, staring at lightly swaying grass with each gentle breeze. "I was on my way to the temple to speak to you. I wanted to present my daughter now that I am physically able." The arm in the sling was probably answer enough to what he meant by that. Of course, if his Goddess asked for details, he would surely share them. OOC Alright, let's see what kind of fire and brimstone we're going to get. @maia Kalidas

The first reaction of Kalidas taking note of the pup speaking before the battle ended was the clear sign of thick nails digging into the tree bark, causing the poor material to splinter. She did not turn to face the pup or even take time to interrupt her at all. One would easily think that spawn of Wynters would have been taught better manners and wait until a Goddess was ready for conversation. In time, the battle was soon over with her favored hunter winning. Satisfied with this small notion she would at last slowly turn to view Maia. Critical eyes gazed at her with a look of high disinterest, irritation, and a rather unimpressed demeanor that was not hidden in the slightest. ”My…” she started with an equal scowl that would match Maia’s. ”How very….underwhelming. “ There was a slight pause as she seemed to gather her thoughts to further complete her sentence. ”…and highly unintelligent. Clearly your genetics didn’t work out with the woman you decided to stick it into.” Or maybe the child was dropped on her head? That was a thing among humans wasn’t it? So that could be why this child was a bit on the rude side. Yes, that seemed logical enough for her to ignore the disrespect that was shown. Her gaze would leave the pup and move towards one of her wolves with her sharp gaze still in balance. With possible judgment she watched him try to recover some respect from his Goddess. ”Obviously.” Her tone sharp and clear that she was in no longer in the mood for his apologies even though they had been accepted. The space between them would come to a sudden in as she took Maia by the chin forcibly, moving it to and fro to get a better look at the pup. There might be some potential in her that would, maybe one day, would cause Kalidas to over look her harsh words. She was lucky to be so young and stupid or she might very well find herself impaled on the very tree the Goddess had once leaned upon. ”Well, if you where so physically able then perhaps you should of given her a lecture before bringing her to me. I have patience for ignorance. Which now falls on you.” Her eyes once again peeled away from the child to the father. ”You had plenty of time in which to do that or were you far to busy fucking away with the cursed one?” A small note of distaste came at the end of her statement with a small huff. ”Tell me child, do you plan to follow your fathers footsteps?” |

as long as you remember me, i don't care if everyone else forgets. [attr="class","quicklinks"]735 words It's not like she can understand me, right? | [attr="class","technoscroll"] ❝ Maia would have followed her father at his insistence, and be led to the willow tree and the mysterious person. She wasn’t sure who this woman was, but she was sure that this person was important. Especially given how… clammy her father seemed? It really was odd, but given the fact that she seemed to be observing the gladiators with some intent it was assumed she knew about fighting. Maia may have interrupted her, but upon seeing the woman’s eyes, her own would follow. It was an interesting fight, and she maybe might have learned something, but she wasn’t going to admit that to her father. Or the mysterious woman for that matter. She figured that her explanation was one that was pretty understandable, and she didn’t understand why her father was so… apologetic? To be honest, she didn’t really understand most of what was being said around her. Something about being ignorant? The scowl on her face turned into a full-on frown. Gods, her father was speaking too fast again. She hated when he did that, she couldn’t understand him, and this woman was speaking just as quickly. What she did understand though, was her chin being grasped and moved by the woman who seemed to be super speedy apparently. The teenager bit back a growl before this woman. Who was she that she had the right to do this? “Please. Stop.” The words would be given out in Ethean, harsh and forced. She didn’t like this tongue, and this woman didn’t seem to care if she would just grab her. It wasn’t right. Maia tilted her head and smiled sweetly at the woman, before responding in her native tone, instead of the stupid Ethean language that her father insisted she try to speak in. “Magi are dangerous and don’t deserve to live, especially not when they are the cause of death and destruction. They took my mom, they won’t take me. It’s why I’ve been training with my bow.” The Ikigaian teenager was actually quite eloquent in her native tongue, spoke in full sentences, and didn’t say anything more than necessary. “Plus, they bleed quite spectacularly, even as animals.” The comment would come with a smirk and a shrug, it wasn’t like the woman could understand her. Instead, the woman would see a sort of fierceness that didn’t exactly show itself in daily life much. The woman would be met with an even look, unflinching. She was not afraid of this woman, and would not show fear. The only fear she had was of this stupid place and how she would get home. It would be much different than the forced syllables that came out in Ethean. If anything her frustration at the situation would show through. “This man is nothing more than a sperm donor for me, he didn’t ask for me and has made that quite clear. I don’t see him as… anything other than a roommate to be honest.” Again, Maia responded in her native tongue. She didn’t know if this woman would understand her, but she figured if she wanted an answer she would have it. Just not in Ethean. Maia’s eyes flickered as she looked on at the mocha colored woman. “I am not my father.” This was stated quite explicitly in Ethean, for all current to hear. Maia’s focused glare was shifted to Oliver as she said her piece, before turning back to the woman and smiling sweetly. “But you probably didn’t understand any of that, given that I’m in this God's forsaken country with a language that I can barely understand and use.” Her eyes would turn sad for just a moment and her smile would fade into a slight frown, “I’m Maia, May ask who you?” She hoped she would at least get a name out of the woman who was still holding her chin. In an odd way, Maia could respect this woman. She didn’t take any of her father’s bull and instead commanded a room. Maia could respect that. This woman seemed to be someone she might be able to look up to. Maybe this was something that was good about Ethea? Oh, the social worker would be pleased. A positive female role model or something or other. “Thanks for making dear old dad squirm by the way.” Cue the shit eating grin as her Ikigaian flowed, and she spoke to the woman. |

| [attr="class","achee"] [attr="class","castleonthehill"] ❝ Oliver was not a man of many facial expressions. If anything he tended to have the same impassive air at near all times. So for him to be struggling not to cringe openly was foreign to him. The idea of wrangling in emotions of all things was shocking above all else, but also a difficulty. He definitely wasn't a fan of this new type of conflict. This required a whole new type of acting that he wasn't entirely well read in. So a flinch or two could be made out in his brows. Gods, the cringe was so powerful it set a buzzing sensation across his skin. Oliver had witnessed his Deity's sheer power too many times to count. The idea of that power being directed towards him, it was shuddering in all blunt honesty. "I understand." He would reply with a nod to his Goddess' rebuke. "I have tried." Would be the response he'd choose upon. In reality there were quite the number of reasons why Maia was not aware of who she was. The human form hadn't been expected for one. The sudden appearance of a blue Deity he'd assumed could be translated accurately regardless of fluency in any language. He had been planning on attempting one last time as they walked their way to the Kalidas temple. Etc, really. But if there was anything Kalidas was not a fan of, it was extensive chatter. "There is a serious language barrier that I can't seem to hurdle with my attempts to communicate the severity of this ... introduction." And then his daughter would choose to answer the Goddess' question in one of those Ikigain dialects. Gods, who knew how bad this was about to get? He couldn't help deter stupidity if he wasn't aware of the stupidity being spoken. Well, if Kalidas wished to strangle the life out of his daughter, then that would be the mess he'd have to clean up afterwards. Yes, it would be aggravating to clean up, literally but also metaphorically. The explanation of "my god killed my adopted daughter" he could take a wild guess wouldn't fly very high with officials. Yes, he was loyal. Yes, he would stand aside as his Goddess did as she wished. But the aftermath outside of the Guild's walls would be ... complicated at best. ✉ Kalidas @maia ♫ It's always sunny in Philadelphia ✎ Switched templates. you can't possibly kill one of us with a kitty in my temp, right? right, kalidas? |

Kalidas only spared Oliver a mere glance in passing. Yes, he had been fucking his toy far too much and not doing what should of been done with this child. Regardless of the language barriers he should of found a way. His reasoning was nothing more then an excuse in her opinion. One that might of saved his ass for the time being. "Yes, the language barrier. That is a problem for you, isn't? I advise you start becoming flaunt in her language to avoid certain problems in the future." Her gaze never left the child before her. She knew well enough that Oliver would correct his ways in a hurry if he wanted to stay on top of the food pyramid. Dark eyes narrowed at the wordy child. She was speaking far too much to Kalidas' liking and the word please was not in her vocabulary. Her hold only tightened on the adopted Wynters Child. "I do as I please, child." The words that came out of her mouth was not Ethea but Maia's native tongue. It ran off so smoothly that one would believe she as from that reign. Though the excessive amount of chatter caused the Goddess to twitch lightly she allowed her to continue. When she felt the child had spoken enough she would casually apply pressure to the jaw in order to prop it open and remain that way. "You talk too much. Learn to shorten your words to the point." There was a pause at the end of her sentence while a smile played across her lips. One not often saw as it held very little violence in nature but of amusement. The Goddess huffed at Maia's words, "You are mistaken, pup. Your mother died because she was weak and became prey to those stronger then she. The Magi, in this case, were the better hunters and deserve that recognition. Learn to acknowledge those who are superior to you and use it to better yourself. I do not take the weak under my wing nor do I acknowledge their existence."Promptly, she would release the childs jaw and lower her hand with a small chuckle. The pup looked so fierce she could almost consider it to be endearing. Her amusement only grew as Maia announced her opinion of her own father as nothing more then a sperm donor. It was cute really. "No, you are not him. But I do expect you to learn properly from him." Her flawless transition of languages would promptly switch back to Ethean. "I expect you to train her, Oliver. Do what you must and use who you must. If she proves herself to be useful then I will acknowledge her but until then..." Her gaze fell back on Maia. "...she has much to learn. Though I do wonder if she needs more then just a human companion to keep her on track." A small hum came from the Goddess as she looked between both father and child. It wasn't until Maia asked who she was that she returned her attention to her. A single dark brow rose in question and then a dark smile crossed over to make her look far more dangerous then any human could be. "I am Kalidas and the one that will be watching you from here on out." |

as long as you remember me, i don't care if everyone else forgets. [attr="class","quicklinks"]739 words Oh hey, Did I gain a big sister? Yay! Also... pet? | [attr="class","technoscroll"] ❝ Again, with the fast talking. How annoying was it to have someone babble on in a language that the other person didn't understand? Either way it wasn't directed towards her, so she supposed she was fine on that front. She couldn't be accused of not listening if the other person was talking fast on purpose. Besides, it was more important to focus on the person who her father seemed to be afraid of. It was much more interesting to the teenager to see that, rather than focus on trying to please her dad. Well, shit. Apparently, this woman spoke Ikigaian. Maia would stare at the woman before choosing her next words carefully, but that was an actual smile on her face when she spoke again. "Yes Ma'am." Short and to the point she would smirk at the woman. If the mocha colored woman wanted her to be more clear she would. It was just a miracle that she had found someone who spoke her language, better than her actually. The normally grumpy teenager couldn't help the smile that was on her face, that was until it would flicker as the woman mentioned her mother. "I'm not wrong. Magi weren't hunting her, it was just that...animal whose power went out of control. He wasn't trained." Her sentiments were short and to the point but she wasn't going to back down on this. "Mom wasn't at fault, they took her from me for no reason." Her mouth would slightly snarl that last line as she looked at the woman, obstinance in her eyes, "I train to become strong, to lessen my weakness." Physically was she strong? No. Not really. Emotionally? She couldn't care less. She wouldn't let herself be broken again. Most certainly not by a magi. It would be unacceptable. As her mouth was propped open, she would stare defiantly at the mocha colored goddess. She didn't like this, but she wasn't going to argue with someone who spoke her language. Maia knew better than that at the very least. besides, she wanted to hear the woman's response and would listen intently, not struggling in the woman' strong grip. Her eyes would flicker between the two adults who were conversing. She would watch as the woman managed to do something that she hadn't yet. She was making her sperm donor uncomfortable, and honestly? It amused the Ikigaian teenager. She wasn't going to try and interrupt that interaction. When her jaw was released Maia would rub it a little in reaction but meet the woman's gaze evenly. It was true that her father was nothing more to her, and she didn't really care what he would have to teach her. Smirking she would tilt her head and speak to the mocha skinned woman in response, "I'd much rather learn from you." She could respect this mysterious woman. Her sperm donor? Not so much. Looking over at the said man Maia would roll her eyes and shrug in a sort of 'look at what I'm dealing with' sort of motion to indicate her dissatisfaction with the entire essence of her father. When the mocha colored woman looked back towards her with an answer she would grin. "To be named after the God of the Hunt is a great honor. We offer prayer to him before tournaments in archery, for his aim to ring true, and for our arrows to pierce the center as they would the hearts of his prey." Maia would take a moment to bow her head in reverence to the god of the hunt. it would not do to sully his name, especially when she was in an institution that bore his purpose. With a smile, she would tilt her head and think a minute. She wasn't aware the guild had a big sister big brother program. But she could respect Kalidas. And so she would look to Oliver with a genuine smile and in Ethean address him; "Thank you for introducing me to a worthy sensei" The words would be accompanied by a bow to her father, it would probably be one of the few signs of respect she had given him in this country. Maia would turn again to the woman with a smile speaking in Ikigaian, "What would you have me do first Kalidas? I'm ready to learn what you have to teach. " If she was gaining a trainer, she might as well put it to use. |

| [attr="class","achee"] [attr="class","castleonthehill"] ❝ No. As much as Oliver respected his Goddess and was loyal to a fault, he did not agree with her self-proclaimed 'advice'. It was advice, not an order. This made the statement easier to mentally dismiss. He'd never admit verbally of course. And if Kalidas ever asked him about the subject he'd probably find another bone of his body broken. But he'd deal with it then. For the now? No way in hell did Oliver have any intention of learning one of the many dialects of the Ikigain Isles. It wasn't for racist reasons. He didn't have any intention of learning another language, period. Ethea held everything Oliver ever wished for, he had no reason to travel unless ordered to. Maia had traveled to Ethea. She needed to learn Ethean. Oliver didn't need to learn a language of a country he'd never visit. The man had enough pulling at him on a daily basis. Government paperwork, Guild paperwork, Hunter missions, Military missions. He had enough already. There was zero chance of him willingly taking up another lengthy project that would take him even more away from his messy hobby and sex life. Kalidas was going to have to make the advice an order. Otherwise Her mortal follower was perfectly content in just tapping an evergrowing impatient foot at Maia's learning of the language she now lived in. "Understood." Oliver would nod to the actual orders given. He had already been expecting to train her. But now it was official she'd have to come with him on some lesser missions. Perhaps the asked-for future security for the controversial vote on magi curfews. "I will." Maia still didn't seem to understand who was in front of her. No one in their right would still carry that much defiance when speaking with such a powerful being. But what could he do? He'd tried every word under the sun thus far. Goddess. God. Deity. Even Kalidas now but even the name didn't seem to stick. There was nothing Oliver could say that he hadn't already in trying to prep Maia for the meeting. And then came a promising glimmer. She was thanking him of introducing the teenager to such a 'worthy sensei'. Oliver knew that much to know sensei meant teacher. Kalidas wasn't entirely easy to communicate successfully with without obtaining either physical harm or death. But there were certain quirks an officer for years would have caught onto during his years of service. Kalidas appreciated praise and compliments. This, even though it was also meant to be an insult to him about not being worthy he was sure, he believed could probably make Kalidas cast a more favorable gaze towards them. Plus, there was a bit of schadenfreude peeking through. A mortal was asking the grand Huntress to train her. Oh. If Kalidas took up the offer, he could only wait with a growing knowing grin. Ohhh, you wanted the God of Hunting to teach you? Here's hoping you came prepared for a near-death experience surely. Was she going to be chased up a tree by a lion? Only time would tell and he hoped it would be glorious. Maybe the teenager would figure out her situation the hard way and maybe gain some needed attitude adjusting. ✉ Kalidas Maia Nomi♫ It's always sunny in Philadelphia ✎ Yeah, sure, go ahead. ask kalidas for training. let's see how she fucks you up lol |

“
Kalidas studied the young girl for a long moment, regarding her wild mild entertainment and interest. Keeping her thoughts to herself she would merely glance at Oliver with a very small, very tiny, predatory smile. So, the girl would rather learn from her then her own father. Interesting but also not something she would take up on her own but it was rather charming. It was nice to be recognized as being grand. ”Yes,” She started slowly with a small chuckle. ”It is a great honor. I am glad someone recognizes that.” Oh, she was going to play this for all it was worth for the time being. At least, as long as it kept her amused. Her gaze returned towards the girl, ”Do you? I am very certain that pleases the God Kalidas. He does love to get prayed too and often. I am certain he listens to your prayers.” If they where worth her time anyways. Kalidas did listen to most of what was asked to her but very rarely did she grant her attention to someone for minor things. Crossing her arms over her chest, she placed a finger to her lips in thought. Kalidas looked to be seriously considering something. Oliver must of hoped it was something that would lead to the death of the child. Sadly, it wasn’t that at all. In fact, it would lead to something he would probably dislike and that alone caused Kalidas to feel a bit justified. Oliver has not been fully pulling his weight as he used too. The Goddess wasn’t very pleased with him for the most part but she did have to remind herself that he did have a broken arm. It was a small thing that kept him from suffering her wraith of disappointments. ”Have you visited the sanctuary?” She inquired, ”It’s where we house our unclaimed familiars.” |

as long as you remember me, i don't care if everyone else forgets. [attr="class","quicklinks"]515 words Oh my goodness you've peaked her intrest. | [attr="class","technoscroll"] ❝ Maia smiled as her sentiments were echoed by the mocha colored woman. “Archery is the one thing I really enjoy, and it is something that connects me to the god. I can only hope that my small amount of faith and belief is of use to Kalidas. After all, he has taught me that it is best to be predator rather than prey. My aim is true, in his name.” She would smile, thinking of the small ritual she had performed for years before her competitions. “I give praise to him, as he has led me on this path and towards my target. I can only hope that I can fly as true as my arrow.” Her eyes would lift upwards, and her hands would offer a small gesture towards the sky and towards the god himself. She would not become prey in this foreign land and knew that the woman in front of her could push her forward on that path. She wouldn’t allow herself to be weak, this woman was not weak. For one of the first times, Oliver would see a genuine smile on the teenager’s lips. “I thank you, who have been blessed with his name for that small mercy.” Her smile would continue as they would talk about the religion. “I know that even though I am not worthy, I will continue to offer my prayers for guidance. After all, he has a great many hunters with many more accomplishments than I.” It was true, she was nothing more than a student at his academy, and there were many other officers, let alone students who had been blessed. Maia would raise an eyebrow towards the woman and shake her head. “No, I was told that you had to be a senior before you were allowed to visit.” There, that was short and to the point. Besides, her sperm donor had insisted there weren’t to be any pets in the house. Not even that stray kitten that Maia kept putting water and a bit of food out for secretly. Her face would turn to the man who had been here for the conversation. “No pets in the house…right?” would be the phrase in Ethean towards her father. Her face would look on in confusion. Even the god of the hunt couldn’t change that rule right? Looking back to Kalidas Maia would grin and continue in Ikigaian, “It would be nice to have someone I could count on in this country though.” Kalidas knew that she couldn’t count on her father. Her voice sounded wistful in the comment, and she would raise her eyes to meet the woman’s. “I have watched some of the older students and hunters wandering around the park though. It’s interesting the fighting styles that a good pair has.” It intrigued her how the familiar would know exactly what its master would want, and engage in combat just as much as the hunter. It was almost a perfect complement for the partners. “Do you have a familiar?” The question would come out towards the woman as genuinely curious. |
