Personality overall
Lykos is a respectful individual. Though, he can be a slobbering drunk at times. This dead monk had it all, according to himself. A great family, alcohol, women or men on the side, and living in a world that is always moving forward. Though, through death, things change a man. From subtle enjoyments to jump scaring the living. The hunger never really settles down. His left hand still rubs the rosary beads that are wrapped around his wrist. His demeanor, is slowly and progressively changing him. And, it scares him.
Lykos, at one point, enjoyed going from place to place. Meeting people and experiencing new sights. But, he believes that solitude would help his wandering spirit move on. It wasn’t long before he figured out how to manipulate objects. He would toss tiny rocks at strangers if they get too close to his spot. He realizes soon that the activity fills him with enjoyment.
He was considered a genius at the monastery. Both in the monastery’s martial arts as well as Shogi, a board strategy game similar to chess. Over time, developing his skills and having competitions with other monks both old and young. These activities helped Lykos focus and calm his mind. Though, when he is showing off or not seeing the picture fully. When he gets a plan or an idea for something. It usually backfires on him, regardless if it was a good plan or not. He still plays shogi, manipulating the rocks for the game. Its the only thing he currently knows that helps him keep his mind calm. To remind himself that the world that he is in is a lot more dangerous than the one that was taken from him.
He still travels to the monastery, praying for the old gods to help him through his obstacles. As well as praying for Tatara to let his spirit wonder longer. So that he can further understand this plane. He fears that demons will find him and make him their prisoner. Lykos is hesitant when he sees his father. Often following Jäger like a child, wandering when the parent would pay attention.
Grief and depression also affects Lykos, shrieking into the night air. Scaring hoodlums who trespass his area. Both at wanting to be left alone and for someone to talk to. Some nights, his memory wanes. He would snap back to reality and notices that he has traveled far from his home. He mumbles quite a bit to himself now. Wondering if he deserved to die those many nights ago. Wondering if his tongue got the best of him at the tavern he still frequently visit.
Mortals who do get a glimpse of Lykos, see him with his hands going through his tangled hair. His eyes opened as wide as they could. His constant muttering as he paces back and forth on the path. Not noticing his torn clothes and damaged body. They normally believe that he is a homeless man who seemingly lost his marbles. Until he notices the mortal’s stare.

[PTab=APPEARANCE]
locked away in permanent slumber
appearance
This monk stands tall compared to others at the Monastery, at a height at 1.87 meters. His skin is darker compared to the other monks and his adoptive father. His body physique is slender but muscular, from years of training and honing his body. He still trains after his death, though it is only a force of habit. On his chest is large burn mark with circuit like lines traveling around it. His face is unshaven, as it appeals to him. His hair is long, wavy dark brown that is tied into a ponytail with a ribbon. His hair acts as though it is still waving in the wind. Though, the hair length goes against the monastery's code. His eyes shine bright with confidence and knowledge, the iris being a light brown in hue. Dark bags swell below his eyes, as though he suffered from lack of sleep. Lykos’s fingers and toes shine blue from his corpse gaining frostbite as it lay helplessly. His left arm is burned badly enough that bone and muscle tissue are showing. His body is covered in cuts from wind magic A large one crossing his entire face. Lykos’s corpse was cremated the day it returned to the monastery and now rests in a jar within the home of Priest Jäger.
Fashion
Lykos wears a traditional buddhist monk attire. The inner wear is a soft, thin cotton robe and slacks that is tied at the waist. The outerwear is a durable leather jacket that hangs loosely on him. His hair is tied with a dull red silk ribbon, given to him by his father. He wears zōri sandles without any foot coverings. A rosary is wrapped around his left wrist.

biography
One cold winter’s day, a crying babe was lying inside a beaten up basket at the feet of the Neo Halebeedu Monastery. Crying, wondering where the warmth of his mother has gone. Wondering why the space around him hurt. Starving from not being fed for so long. The door of the great monastery opens, a young monastery boy in his teens was wondering what he was hearing outside the gates. Young Jäger’s heart sank when he solved his little mystery. He took the babe from its crib and placed it within his robes, wrapping his arms carefully so that the babe won’t fall as well as get additional warmth. Young Jäger took the babe to the High Priestess, showing her the babe in his arms. It was days after that the High Priestess and the council decided on what to do with the babe. The decision was to have Jäger take care of the infant until it reached adulthood. Joy overwhelmed Jäger as he held his adopted son in his arms. That day, Lykos was named.
Growing up, Lykos showed his dedication to the holy monastery, hoping for pride and rewards to the high council and his father. Training his body, reciting the old hymns and the new, watching the world go by within the gates. He always wondered what life was like outside those gates. Jäger told him that the city was a place of sin. That the enjoyments of life outside the walls drowns the mind. Infecting the spirit within, which would prevent harmony with oneself and reincarnation. On his fifteenth birthday, as well as all other monastery children, was allowed to travel outside the walls. To learn what the outside life was like and what it does. It was scary for all of them. The lights, the people, and the machines that soar around them. It wasn’t long before they all decided to return to the Monastery.
At eighteen, Lykos reached the point of Monkhood. Lykos and Jäger celebrated that night with some rice wine. Though, it was also the saddest day for Jäger. The Priest, now having lost his job as caretaker for his adopted son. That night, the two agreed to stay as a family. As it was the Goddess fortune that brought Lykos to the monastery for Jäger. The high priest gave Lykos a mission. To become a missionary. Lykos agreed, knowing that the will of the gods will bring him home, one day. His travels took him to many places. And then sin took a hold on him. It was little at first, a tattoo of a lotus on his arm. But one night, his hosts took him to a local tavern. Though, reciting the hymns was nothing as he was forced to drink. At first, sad that he was making taboo. But as the night went on, Lykos was making shot after shot with fellow drinkers.
His life was a roller coaster, having its ups and downs. But, it was during a winter’s night that he died. It was just like the night he was found. The snow, heavy and falling slowly. The wind, cold and sharp like sharpened knives. A group of Magi ganged up on him. Lykos fought bravely, as he mastered the monk’s fighting style at a young age. A lightning bolt cast to the chest was all that was needed. The attacker pressed her slim hand against Lykos’s chest as she chanted the spell. His heart stopping as electricity went throughout his body. His body twitching as his muscles spasm uncontrollably. The group left shortly after, making sure the monk was dead by cutting and burning parts of his corpse. Lykos could of lived that night, if he wasn’t drinking heavily moments before. His innards roasted from the combustion of the liquor. Though, the Magi didn’t take any money from his coin purse. They didn’t take anything valuable that he worn. They killed him, because he was just human.

Default Skills
Poltergeist I: The ability to move a single item within a limited and humble proportion, such as a piece of chalk, a paper, a small paperback book, a shoe, etc. If unsure please ask a member of the site's team.
Tech Communication: As a wandering Soul you have learned to use technology as a medium of communicating with the living. Wither that be static on a radio or electronically typing, you are capable of doing this now.
E.M.O. I: Emotional Materialized Orb, better known as E.M.O. Because you as a ghost dwell within the same plane of existence as Spirits you are more likely to come across them. The most effective defensive measure one can take is to utilize EMO. By deeply focusing on one powerful memory in your past you need to channel all of those intense emotions. From there the emotions will manifest into a glowing orb which can then be aimed at the antagonistic spirit as a projectile. At this level you can manage to throw one orb at a time.
