Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] ”You’ve got to be kidding me…” The words fell out of Kaveri’s mouth like a heavy weight being dropped onto the floor. If only his words actually could be physically thrown he probably would of thrown them at the much taller man next to him. Instead, all he could do was stare up at the sign of a very sketchy, run down, horror film looking motel named The Bloody Whore. Who thought that was a good name for a motel? Granted, it spoke volumes for the place as it looked like a diseased infested, boarded up, cracking, smoke smelling motel. Just looking at the crack windows made him fully believe that one of them was going to get kidnapped tonight, or worse, murdered. While he was armed with his sword resting behind him it only gave him some comfort but not enough to brave this place. His eyes glanced over towards Aiden in hopes he too would be unsettled by the creepy feeling coming from the building. Maybe, just maybe, he would say they should keep going until they stumbled upon another motel further down the road. But alas, as he looked to his right and left he saw nothing but woods and open areas. The parking lot was littered with laughing people---laughing questionable people. Looking towards the road way, he didn’t see a single car coming down the dusty road. Taking a small step closer to Aiden to the point his hand brushed against the others he looked up at him. ”It’s not too late yet.” He lied, knowing the sun was setting behind the trees. They would only have roughly ten minutes of sunlight left to guide them on their journey. If only their train hadn’t broke down in the middle of nowhere on the train tracks they would of all ready been in Dagos by now. But alas, they where left with the option of remaining near the train or walking the rest of the distance on foot. Aiden was not liking the idea of sticking around and so Kaveri had agreed to walk the remaining distance and grumbling off and on about the heat. Heat and water magi’s never went well together. It didn’t help either that Aiden wanted to avoid the roadways in case someone spotted them traveling and so they took to journeying under the cover of nature when it was provided. Again, he looked towards the scary looking hotel that looked as if it was haunted by the spirits of the damned and thought that maybe camping outdoors wouldn’t be so bad. He would much rather deal with the warm night air then climb into a bed with a murderer underneath of it. His eyes traveled from the building to the laughing people only to make eye contact with one frightening looking man who was enjoying the company of what looked to be a fennec fox magi. Startled and embarrassed Kaveri looked away after the man made a gesture towards him. Again, he moved and this time to the other side of Aiden. Taking him by the sleeve he tugged on it. ”Come on, let’s go. I don’t like this place. I’m sure there is a better motel further down.” And if not he would be more then happy to sleep in a tree. A moment later he would feel Aiden moving toward and Kaveri followed after him while remaining attached. It seems his pleas where falling on deaf ears. The creepy place was looking more and more like a death trap. The poor red neon sign wasn’t helping either as it flashed with the promise of one of the O’s might be going out very soon. As they moved towards the entrance of the motel he heard a wolf whistle coming from the individuals he spotted earlier and was positive this was going to end horribly for them. Upon entering the motel, the water magi was horrified to see the inside was far worse then the outside. The foundations had cracks in it, the walls looked disgusting, the counter was being used as a table for the worker who was enjoying his dinner, and worse of all he was almost certain he saw a cockroach scatter by right then. The whole room seemed to have a smokey fog inside that smelled unidentifiable to Kaveri but he knew he didn’t like the smell. The man behind the counter took one look at the ex-hunter and then to the jelly. Scuffing rudely he would promptly gesture his fork at the jellyfish who felt far more exposed then ever. ”We don’t allow magi whores inside.” He would then use his fork to point towards the parking lot as if that was enough instructions. ”Even if they look rather…interesting.” It was at that moment Kaveri pulled his dark hands behind his back and move slightly behind Aiden. Done. He was so done with this place. ”I’m not a prostitute and stop pointing at me with that nasty, food ridden, rusty looking fork!” Otherwise, he might get that fork shoved into his hand if it got close to him. He was priest, yes, but he wasn’t in the mood to put up with scary looking racist asshats. Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette "Goddammit piece of shit!" Aiden's voice had carried across the field as he shouted and cursed aloud from having their ride break down at what was quite possibly the middle of nowhere. Why now!? Was their driver wanking off while also trying to keep them going in the right direction? He was ornery after having what had otherwise been a peaceful, uneventful trip with his Magi companion. After that incident, they had departed into the open, having very little to no reason to stay there for the moment. They needed to get to where they were headed and wasting time wasn't in the plan. At first, Aiden thought that maybe they would get lucky and come across some place neat to camp out or another hotel out in the country for them to stay at. He was a trained survivor, but even he was nervous staying in these parts. The plains were open and any fire was highly visible which was why he always avoided it when he could. He had brought some food with them and kept his regular pack of supplies, but their surroundings didn't make for a lot of good options. After a short time of walking, Aiden opted to take them away from the roads for fear that this place could be teeming with unseen enemies. He didn't want to find himself at a crossroads in a place where squads of Hunters were watching. He had to admit, his paranoia may be getting worse in this scenario. After they found their way past a clearing, they happened to be trudging up a hill when they came across what had looked from afar to be a lit motel. They hurried closer, eager to see what was at bay with Aiden reluctantly holding out hope in some for. That hope was immediately dashed as soon as he got a good look at the place from a good distance. Kaveri was unnerved and to be honest, so was he. The place screamed trouble, with people laughing and enjoying rather... salacious activities. The architecture was what would be expected of a place that was out in the middle of nowhere, but it surpassed even his expectations for how trashy and ominous any place could look. The windows and door were cracked and seemed close to the point of falling apart. As they walked, Aiden found himself holding Kaveri with one of his arms around the Magi to comfort him in some form. This place had every nerve inside of him on high alert, almost expecting that something would come flying from out of nowhere and he would need to draw his knife and dodge. Halfway to the door, he had to kick away a pale, half-naked woman with sharpened fangs who uncharacteristically grabbed his pants legging from behind a trash can and silently threaten one of the men who tried to gesture at Kaveri. He glared at everyone; all of the people here seemed to radiate a vibe that was giving him a bad feeling. "Neither do I, but we don't have a choice. The outside feels dangerous; it will be better for us to have a roof over our head for the night... but stay near me. Everyone here doesn't seem normal."Opening the door, they were greeted by a man wielding a fork with his one hand, holding it up and pointing at Kaveri with an accusatory tone. He may have been content to tease him, but calling Kaveri a whore started up a host of feelings in him that seemingly came from beyond the pale. The most prominent of those which happened to be anger. He walked up and deftly grabbed the fork from the man's hand and pointed it back at him. "Don't. You. Dare. If you want our business, I suggest you change your tone or this fork is going to be lodged in your tongue real soon. My friend is not a whore and I'm not going to play your racist games with you." Aiden's tone went up in pitch before he turned the fork around and stabbed it into the wooden desk. "We would like to rent a single room. The BEST one you have."The man, seemingly cooed by Aiden's tone, let his eyes fall on the ex-hunter in silent contemplation before picking up and drawing through a ledger he had nearby. As he went about the process, Aiden moved to keep Kaveri close while looking around the waiting room for any sign of trouble to come. He really did not like this place. Something was telling him that they may have been better off roughing it in the wilderness. His instincts were usually not wrong, but his tactical mind knew they had no choice in this. Staying the night was their only option.

I'm still fighting for peace
Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] Outside was still a highly sough out option. In fact, it was a prime option in Kaveri’s opinion. They could leave this place, find a nice little cover of trees somewhere, and camp out that way. The stars were rather pleasant tonight and bright. It would be something to really go out and view but then there was the whole thing about the moon being bright. It wouldn’t do to be spotted by unsavory people. But that wouldn’t be that big of a deal as they both could handle those types if threatened. But, Aiden wasn’t going to go with that. He would much rather sleep without concerns about being attacked in the middle of the night. Not to mention being in the open would be an invitation for anyone with downers. Still, their chances of survival would be much better indoors. Aiden once again assured him that there only option was to be indoors. Kaveri just hopped there would be locks on all the doors and winows. If not, Kaveri was going to seal the freaking door and keep it frozen throughout the night and the window as well. Otherwise, there would be no sleeping tonight at all and he needed his sleep. As for the people around here? Yeah, they certainly didn’t seem of sound mind. He had the small notion that either they where followers of Phillip or high as a kite. He was hoping they all were just harmlessly off their rocker and would pass out---outside the place if possible. ”You don’t have to tell me twice.” muttered the Jelly as he remained glued to the ex-hunter like his life depended on it. Hell, it probably did with as threatening as this place felt to him. Pressing his lips together he glared at the fork man with a steady gaze until his companion stepped forward. To be completely honest, Kaveri had expected Aiden to crack some shitty joke with the man. Probably something about being a colorful hooker or one that was over priced. Anything really could come out of the pale haired man’s mouth when he felt like being a little demon. Crossing his arms over his chest he was about to open his mouth to call Aiden out on being a goddamn asshole with the teasing. What came out of the human’s mouth was anything but teasing. In fact, it certainly sounded like he was being defended! The priest had to do a double take at his companion with a tilted head. He had been so accustomed to Aiden’s ruthless teasing that he had forgotten that the man did have a serious bone in his body. A breath of air was released from his lungs. Turning his attention away from the conversation he looked towards the door. There in the window was the magi he had seen earlier. She looked at Kaveri, smiled far too sweetly and waved at him. Yeah, no. In an instant he looked away with clenched jaws as he contemplated on how this night might go. Feeling Aiden shifting back towards him, he met him midway and stayed close to him. The man who owned the fork grunted and jerked the fork out from the desk. He gave it one good shake to send any small wood chips flying out. Then promptly stabbed it into a hunk of chicken. ”Beg yer pardon then.” He spoke with a bit more of a chipper tone that was clearly nothing more then an act. Taking a bite of his meal he would lean over to his left to fish a key off a peg board. He pulled one over, matched it to his ledger and then dropped it on the desk pleasantly. ”C28. Outside to the right and up the stairs, eighth door down. It’s our best room.” Tapping at the key he would then inform the two of the cost and after payment, slide the key towards the two of them. One finger would remain on the key to stare up at the jelly who now was far more uncomfortable before. ”Real shame, there.” Kaveri turned his eyes towards the man and then wished he hadn’t. The man was looking at him with a small sigh with a very clear meaning of what he was thinking though clearly the idea of gaining a tongue piercing kept him at bay, no magi was worth that. Taking a deep breath, he reached out and swiped the key from the man quickly to avoid touching him in anyway. ”Thank you.” Kaveri added in quickly and was ready to depart. Keeping hold of Aiden he moved towards the exit but the man wasn’t quite done speaking as he leaned back in his chair to finish his meal and read the paper. ”Best keep Rainbows there locked up for the night.” He spoke off handly as if this was just a casual conversation to be had everyday. ”If you catch my drift.” With that, the man no longer would give them any further attention as he was done with them. Kaveri on the other hand narrowed his eyes with a small twitch of a brow. While he was terrified of this place he was also highly annoyed by the whole day. He didn’t like being stared at and he didn’t like being addressed by his coloration. He had half a mind to correct the human but soon thought better of it. He didn’t need to know his name. Leaving the office the magi quickly turned on his heels to get to that staircase quickly. ”I hope he chokes on his chicken.” He huffed angrily. ”And I hope the train engineer does too!” Taking two steps at a time he moved up the stairs as fast as possible and went down the small walk way, stepping over random objects as they got into his path. ”I just want a nice cool shower and a nice clean towel…” As soon as he found the room number he jabbed the key into the knob and gave it a turn, a waggle, and a push for the door to finally open. He stopped midway to observer his traveling companion and smiled slightly. ”Thanks, by the way. For not making further hooker cracks with him. I’m sure you had some good ones.” Which would invite Kaveri to shove his foot up a certain ex-hunters ass with great skill. Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette Aiden couldn't help but agree with much of Kaveri's anger as they made their way to their room. He may crack jokes with the Magi, but the man was just plain arrogant. It was bastards like him that made him quit the hunters. "Yeah, they both need a few adjustments made to their skulls. (Sigh) I'll let you take the shower first, I'll figure out how this room works first and then I'll take mine."Kaveri turned toward him at the last moment, twisting a disarming grin that suddenly made Aiden's heart stop. His eyes seemed to unfocus as he did his best to not blush, "It's nothing. I hate people like that who mock Magi just cause they're different. Makes my blood boil too much." On the inside of the room, it was genuinely nice, though Aiden was getting a bad feeling at the moment. The wallpaper was gold & orange with a few age-old paintings hanging up on the wall. The furniture looked up-to-date though and if you just judged by first impressions, it seemed like he had been worried for naught. For the price of the room itself, they seemingly got a pretty good deal. Even the wooden floors were polished off and seemingly well-done in. Aiden walked in and began to just explore the chairs that were placed alongside the opposite wall. The whole place was a dump heap, but this room seemed like it would be passable. There were just two windows on the left side of the room while the upper right corner held a small, homely little kitchen and their immediate right had the doorway that stretched out to a single bedroom with a shower. "Heh... This seems like it will do just fine. Maybe this will be much better than sleeping on the outside..."

Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] Cracking skulls sounded like a pretty good idea to the usually peaceful priest. His patience with people had grown a tad thin after being out in the sun for so long. It was a good thing Kaveri was now away from the sun and the weather would cool off slightly in the light. That would instantly put him in a better mood and having a shower would only increase that mood. Entering the room he would instantly sit his bag down on the nearest chair. He took one look at the room and his expression was rather surprised. This was not the kind of room he was expecting to see at all. In all reality, he figured the room would be as nasty as it was outside but seeing the clean room certainly caught him off guard. ”Ah, this is not what I was expecting…” he stated slowly while taking in the appearance. Maybe tonight would end on a lovely note instead of one of irritation. Blinking with a small shrug he decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth. Cracking his bag open he would then start to pull out fresh clothing and stacking it on the arm of the chair. He paused for a moment to regard his traveling campaign. A small chuckle came from the jellyfish. ”Is that so? I didn’t expect anything like that to get under your skin that bad. Considering that you’re not the one that doesn’t look human in the slightest.” At the end of his statement he gestured to himself carelessly. Racist idiots was something he dealt with daily and though it pissed him off it was something he just learned to deal with--even if it got under his own skin. Taking hold hold of his chosen attire he held it to his chest as he started towards the shower. The priest easily pushed the feeling of this room being off, away far too easily. Maybe it was because he was just too worn out to care. All he could think about was getting into the water and remaining in it for as long as possible. He needed hydration and he was going to have it even if that meant Aiden might be waiting a while. ”As much as I hate this place I think I would agree for the time being.” The jelly stated as he made his way into the bathroom and closed the door. Funny, he was the one wanting to stay outside rather then in this dump. Amazing how a functioning shower could change his mind. Speaking of said shower the tiny jelly was surprised to see that the bathroom was as wonderful looking as the rest of the room. Oh yeah, this was going to be a great shower. Not one to waste a single moment when it came to wonder the shower came alive and that jellyfish would live in that shower is able. It was almost an instant relief when the cool water touched his skin. ”Im never coming out…” Poor Aiden, he should know better then to allow a water magi to have the shower first. Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette It was probably enough to exceed his expectations. Well... at least the man seemingly had given them a passable room despite being such a huge jerk from before and all the creeping things that were spoiling around outside. Seriously, he probably would be best to not think about it. The sense of something awry was already in his gut and it wasn't going to stop ringing. Aside from everything else being off, he had been careful from lowering his standards too far. Once Kaveri disappeared into the shower room, Aiden went about making himself at home for the moment and exploring what he had to work with and hopefully it was nothing as creepy. The stove and electric were functional and the fridge even had a small amount of food left over that he was keen to inspect and make sure that it was still good. Overall, it seemed like a passable sortie to choose from, though Kaveri would probably opt that they go hungry for the night and he wouldn't blame the Magi. He would be more comfortable killing and butchering a deer in the wild than eating anything prepared in this place. Aiden had no bags to unpack, but he got to work on inspecting the corners and crevices of the place. There wasn't much to it; a moderate suite with just a shower and a single bedroom. Small, but it would do for one night. Seeing as how they were surrounded by psychopaths outside, he decided it would be best to take some safety precautions. Aiden moved the lock on to keep the door shut and then used the shutters on the windows before discretely closing the curtains. He didn't want to know what maddening acts were going about outside. Once that was taken care of, he took to relaxing on one of the chairs, listening to the water spigot relax and churn in the nearby room. He sighed, thinking it would be nice if he could just listen to this all night long. Like a soothing Sunday morning in a secluded place where the sun shone down brightly. Quite honestly, he would be happy for that. After so much pain and disruption in his daily life as of late, he would've been glad for a nice and normal day for a change. He stayed in that position for an unknown period of time, just kinda dazed and slowly dozing off. Just as the ex-hunter was beginning to feel comfortable, he heard a feint knocking at the door. At first, he was bequeath to ignore it and just let them knock until they eventually ran away. Must be one of the mentally-challenged sycophants outside that were having a good time with their revelry so he was inclined to just shut him and Kaveri away for the night. Instead of slowly receding away though, the knocking grew stronger and stronger. Each knock seemed to grow in intensity until suddenly... it stopped. And that was when the freaky stuff started happening. The electricity, the heat, and the running water... they were both suddenly kaput in a flash of blinding light. Just like that, the experienced veteran found himself sitting alone in a deep, dark room and the shower had also been shut off. All was deathly silent. Aiden's eyes dredged open for a moment, unmoving and slowly coming to terms with it before narrowing his eyes into a lethally aware gaze. So it seemed he had made a mistake in coming here. Something was here with them. Something that wasn't open to playing nice. Whatever it was, Aiden could almost feel a sense of bloodlust now bleeding through the door on the opposite side. Even before the inevitable voice spoke up, he had already begun to reach for his knife and a rusted pipe that he remembered had been leaned up against the corner by the past occupant for some reason. "Mister... your time is up."The voice was feminine and sweet enough that it could've belonged to a girl not even a decade old, but it carried malice that belonged in a serial killer's tone. His eyes laced around in the dark, getting accustomed to scanning for any signs that something was about to occur. The knocking stopped abruptly, leaving him eclipsed without even the light from the moon to aid his vision. He sat there, bearing his weapons, holding them close and readying himself for whatever was about to pop up. He was anticipating something, his eyes and reflexes tensed and focused with the intent to react at the first opportunity with what was most likely to be a knife stab or a slash away with the rusted pipe. The door seemed to shutter silently, making his muscles itch more and more and more until the silent pitch just abruptly stopped. Like a haunting piano soliloquy in just full stop. Before he knew, a warped rope of greasy, slimy flesh lashed out past his legs and grabbed him by the wrists, binding and tying him down to the chair. The door hadn't opened. There had been no sound of entry. No seemingly apparent method of approach. He struggled wordlessly with all his might against the restraints, because he could now see in the dark. The girl that had been sitting down in the lobby room was walking steadily up to him, a poisonous gaze in her eyes as one of her hands brushed past Aiden's chin. "Mad Magi, Mad Magi."
Note: "Mad Magi" - A Magi that has given up his/her sanity for the "Mad Enhancement" blessing given by Philip. Basically allows the Magi to enhance their skills and can potentially turn them into grotesque creatures, depending on the Magi's own nature. In this case, the girl is a mad "Air Magi" that has the power to short-circuit electric appliances and also has a Mystical creature nature. [font color="FireBrick"][b]"Speech Here"[/b][/font]

I'm still fighting for peace
Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] Water was a source of peace for the old jelly. Even though he had all ready bathed for the night he found himself content to remain immersed with his element. The sound of each droplet was like a dose of medication that was desperately need to calm the nerves and ease a person into a sense of tranquility. So when the water suddenly stopped and the power went out it certainly caused the dazed magi to stir back to life. At first, he thought Aiden was pulling a horrible prank on him by entering the shower and turning off everything. Opening his eyes and peering out from the curtain he saw no one in the darkness but an eerie feeling crept its way into his soul. Aiden was not apart of the reason to why the room went deem with the water following soon after. All survival instincts kicked into play in an instant. Leaving the shower as silently as possible and dressed himself as equally quite he paid close attention to each sound around him. While he wasn’t fully experienced in using the skill it was something he had been taught by his teacher. He had to take in his full surroundings to be able to understand what kind of action to take. Either the power had been cut by some force outside that was to be considered normal or it was done by a mortals hand. Straining his ears, he would hear nothing for a long moment. No sound of movement and no strange noises as the knocking had been disguised by the sound of the running water originally. He couldn’t hear anything and that alone bothered him. He knew very well that if Aiden was moving around he wouldn’t be picking up on him very well. After all, he was much more skilled then him and trained to move undetected. Assuming he was investigating the situation would of brought him some comfort but he had a horrible feeling for whatever might be outside the bathroom door. Leaving his clothing on the floor of the bathroom his hand would rest upon his sword that he formed a habit of always carrying. Having rested it on the sink he moved to lift it when an unfamiliar voice sounded through the small room. The walls where thicker then he had expected but still thin enough for the voice to carry over. They weren’t alone in the room. Hesitation slammed into him like a sack of bricks. Would it be wise to leave this room? What was Aiden doing? It certainly didn’t sound like a fight was happening but that voice did not sound friendly. Could Aiden be asleep from waiting so long on him? Taking a firm hold of the blade by the middle of the sheath he moved towards the door. Ever so slowly he cracked it open just wide enough for him to escape its confines while holding his breath at the same time in fear the door would creak. Luckily for him it did no such thing. Stepping out of the bedroom allowed him to enter the living quarters and get a good view of a magi woman standing in front of Aiden. He couldn’t see what his companion was doing but he was able to grasp the situation quickly enough to know this wasn’t a peaceful meeting. There was a couple of ways Kaveri could of moved to get a better vantage point or even come up on the woman. However, he settled with the simple bit of surfing his way to her thanks to not fully drying off he had just enough water to get under his feet. It was quick, efficient and silent enough to come up behind the creepy woman and crack his sheath into the back of her head as hard as he could. Dropping to the floor he would land next to Aiden. He gave him a look that only lasted a mere second before he converted the water left around him into a jagged piece of ice. Said ice was promptly shoved into the flesh bits that thought it was a great idea to hold down his companion. ”Really! Sitting on the job?” Was all he was finally able to get out. They had a mad magi in their room and she looked as ugly as sin and then some. Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette Yeah, he probably deserved the sassy response that Kaveri typically gave out in situations like this. Honestly, he had been hoping this stay wouldn't turn to this, but again he guessed that his guard had been down. A moment after Kaveri stabbed whatever creature had managed to grab him, Aiden bucked enough to pull his knife out and quickly sever the tentacle on his right hand with one thorough swipe. Simultaneously, the buck gave him the momentum to drive his noggin forward and headbutt the Mad Magi straight forward. With Aiden's strength and greater body weight, the creature was sent sprawling away and having been stabbed by both of them, the creature underneath the chair also receded back underneath the chair. Aiden rocked backwards as he did, driving the chair back so that it tipped over to reveal 4 large holes that had been pried in the wood and hidden by the upright chair. The light from the room below them shone brightly into the room, giving the two of them more visibility than they had before and Aiden and Kaveri were now free to move. Seemingly in a panic from having her body thrown across the floor, Aiden heard a scrambling noise that quickly receded away like it had never been there as he laid on the floor from the chair having fallen back and then quickly jumping back to his footing on one knee. "Tch Great, Mad Magi. (Sigh)" That was honestly all he had to say, holding that Kaveri was probably going to be glaring daggers at him at this very moment from not having seen this coming. Just when he didn't feel like sleeping on the outside for a change, the very place they do come across is filled with vermin. Well, not like the two of them were completely unprepared for an eventful evening. Once he was back on his feet, Aiden decided they now needed to chase down whatever had restrained him to that chair and the girl who seemingly had a talent for slipping away in a mightily big hurry. "Kaveri, I'll leave that girl to you and I'll follow the tentacle missus to see if I can get anymore out of this. If you find her, blow a loud whistle or something and I'll be there as soon as I can. Don't get too far though... this place is..."And just like that, all of the lights in the entire hotel flickered once and then flashed off, leaving both Aiden and Kaveri once again in total and complete darkness with nary a hint of their direction or orientation. "Well.. that won't help." The ex-hunter moved about, floudering about in his footing as he was quickly able to recall the layout of the room. The darkness was all-encompassing as it seemed to engulf every inch of the hotel, throwing off even Aiden's extended vision and senses. "Kaveri, hold still for just a moment..."There was multiple things he was considering right now as he moved. Since the two assassins had failed, it seemed that plan B was to just blackout the entire place and then return to pick them off while they were unable to orient and compose themselves. There was still the hole in the floor, meaning if he wasn't careful than he could end up tripping and end up with leg dangling from the ceiling beneath. They had to keep their calm and stay together if they were going to stop them.

I'm still fighting for peace
Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] A small golf clap resounded in the room as soon as the crazy magi had decided to fade into the darkness like shadows. The sound came from beside Aiden or more in particular from his priest companion. Said priest was still holding his blade and using the hilt of it to smack against his hand to make a clapping noise. No words needed to be exchanged to catch the meaning of that sarcastic slow clap of a mighty good job Aiden had done. Let alone fall sleep and get touched by creepy magi‘s that looked like shit. Nope, Kaveri was clearly impressed with his chosen human. Aiden clearly made all the right choices for a good nigh stay. The silence between them would last for a good moment. Kaveri would pull his glare away from Aiden to scan the room carefully. He couldn’t see anything but that didn’t mean a dang thing. The four holes in the floor was enough to concern him considering he had been showering just moments ago. Hopefully, there wasn’t holes in the walls. That made him uncomfortable enough to turn on his heels and look at Aiden. ”Seems to be the case and very touchy ones at that.” After that the water magi muttered something about having to removed a few tentacles and possibly fingers of said magi. Of course, he would cover that up, ”You all right?” He would ask, walking over to place a hand on his arm if only for a moment. Pulling away, he turned his attention to the holes in the floor. He tapped the butt of his sheath against the floor with a frown. That went to the room directly below them. At Aiden‘s plan, Kaveris hand tightened around his blade whole looking at Aiden as if he had gone insane like those magi. He even opened and closed his mouth for a moment as he struggled to find the words he wished to share. Raising two fingers to touch his forehead he finally was able to form a coherent sentence. ”Aiden. Are you insane? I think it’s better that we leave this place right now. Screw the crazy people!” He was done, he had not signed up to deal with crazies. Moving to the sofa he quickly scooped up his bag and tossed it over his shoulders. ”If I come across the creepy woman I am going to do more then whistle just to let you know. A lot more.” Twisting around on the ball of his heels he pointed his sheath at Aiden. Just then, the lights went out and all Kaveri could do was moan ever so loudly in frustration. His arms came to rest at his side with a dramatic smack against his thighs. ”So much for a good night! We should of just camped outside like I said to begin with but Nooooo, we had to get a room here! Now we have creepy women crawling around!” Running a hand down his face he stood still. Unlike the other, he merely closed his eyes and reopened them waiting for his vision to adjust to the darkness. ”J--just be careful.” He sighed. Looking around in place he held his sheath firmly with all intent of smacking the first thing that might get too close to him. This was one of the very few times he wished he was a fire magi instead of water. At least then they could see. There had to be a way to get power back in this room or something. Anything at all to see in this damn room. Timed far too perfectly, he felt a sudden heat and pressure on his rump. Startled, Kaveri let out a small sound while remaining frozen in place. A pale blue light that came from the jelly illuminated the motel room just enough to be able to see their nearest surroundings. Bright red in the cheeks, he took a deep breath and turned to see who had just touched his bottom to startle him into glowing like a nightlight. Post by Aiden Garnette on Aug 22, 2017 1:26:42 GMT
Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette At this point, Aiden really didn't appreciate the sassy jelly's clapping and icily-putted sarcasm. He had beaten himself up about it enough, considering he had always been more cautious than this and this was definitely a sore mark on his record. And the Magi was rubbing salt into the wound. In all honesty though, he himself could only find the way to launch a sour glare at Kaveri. What had he been thinking for this past few hours? He racked his brain and for some reason, he couldn't define it himself. Was he scared? Had he really been running away ever since being tortured? Well, that thought bit into his self-confidence if it hadn't been decimated enough already. It was an introspection maybe he hadn't done yet. Still though, he felt pretty confident that he could handle a few crazed Magi. He'd dealt with those before and knew at the very least that Magi had very alike thought processes, even while under the influence of madness. He could survive... provided the Magi in his company could also follow along and not let them get caught by freaking CLAPPING! "I'm good! Just ready to get moving. We can't just leave this place. Something fishy is going on here... and if Mad Magi are involved, I'm at least intent on finding out what the hell is up. I'm even betting that clerk gave us this room so those two could off us while we slept."When the dark suddenly settled in, Aiden had to adjust himself and his muscles tensed as the dark engulfed them, searching for the curtains or perhaps a flashlight, walking along until his feet accidentally kicked something lying about and immediately remembered the pipe he had picked up earlier. That would be something at the very least, but he would much rather see if he could find something that would give them some light. Aiden moved around, searching for the something or anything while Kaveri talked. Seriously, he was also exasperated, but he doubted that they would be able to leave now. No way to see the stairs and climbing out the window would lead to sudden death. His conscious kept egging him on to go and find them, but after a moment of thought, he had to admit that Kaveri had points he needed to address, "I can see your frustration, but how do you propose we get out of here? Even if I find the window, we're not going to climb down it... unless.."Kaveri was a Water Magi. They could just create a pillar of Ice and slowly descend down to the ground. That would work, considering trench warfare against these Magi in this home was practically death. He'd still rather have something with them before they go just in case. Aiden reached out with his senses of undeath, searching for dead bodies he could maybe manipulate. As it happens, there was maybe.... about 8-10 on this floor, hidden away in scattered parts that could definitely be put together. He had almost forgotten too... he didn't think he'd ever told Kaveri about the ability that Nevyne had given him. Perhaps now would have to be the time, considering the situation he had gotten them into. The bones would work to give him a weapon at the very least. "Fine, alright than. As soon as I can maybe find a light or something, we can leave out the window. Just be ready so you can create a pillar of ice as we descend." He scattered about, bumping gently into a few bits of furniture with his metallic leg, stumbling on the ground for the pipe. Suddenly, Aiden heard a weird 'clang' sound that seemed to come from somewhere on the ground nearby. Kneeling down, he reached outward and without his sense of direction, grasped something, not metallic, but soft and squishy. At first, he thought it might have been a pillow on the sofa until he realized that it wasn't as heavy as the sofa as he groped it. And just like that, his darkness problem was solved as Kaveri lit up like a miniature Christmas tree, much to his intrigued (and rather perverted) delight. The rotted pipe just so happened to be inches from the edge of Kaveri's feet too. That would maybe come in handy later on if they found a use for a pipe. While Kaveri was still able to light up the room, Aiden opened up the cabinets and managed to thankfully grab the last three things in the pantry: some lighter fluid, cigarettes, and a bit of soy sauce for whatever they may need that for. "What do you know (smirk) you really can be useful in times like these. I guess your butt is your.. ON switch. We can start heading out soon now if you're ready. There is something I should show you first though..." Aiden reached out towards the dead bodies with a necromantic prong as he opened the door. The nearest skeleton happened to be in a storage closet that was literally only a few steps away and he quickly was able to put it together and make it walk. The rambling zombie came waltzing into the room, promptly leaving its arm and a couple more ribs to which Aiden fashioned a crude longsword as soon as his hand came into contact with the rotted sinew. "Alright than. As soon as you're ready, we can leave out the window."

I'm still fighting for peace
Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] Thousands of emotions all at once bombarded the jelly so hard that he couldn’t even come close to forming a coherent sentence. All he could do was stare at the ex-hunter who had just firmly cupped a feel on his ass rather accidental or not and stirred quite a reaction from the water magi. Glowing brighter he quickly turned to face the opposite direction of Aiden. ”S-shut up! It’s not a freaking ON Button you jerk. You just startled me and this is the reaction to it.” Half truth and half a lie all bundled into one lovely package of frustration. ”It’s just a reaction…” Slipping his weapon to rest properly back on his body to half both hands free he would then turn towards Aiden once he was fully composed. The glow would remain in place though fade just slightly. ”I don’t really want to know what is going on. I just want out of here…” The clerk probably did set them up for some kind of fatal night and one he would rather not think of to be honest. But what he didn’t understand that if clerk was like that, why send magi regardless of them being on the insane side. The guy seemed pretty against his the magi. ”I think you forgot what I am and bit of water makes for a quick escape. However, I’ll need a bit more to get us out of here if we take the window, Aiden.” Reaching out he could feel the water around him but ninety percent of it was in the pipes around him. It was quite the source but the water around him in the room itself wasn’t all that much. Moving quickly, he went straight to the bathroom and turned on all the faucets. As soon as the water was running he moved backwards back into the living room, guiding the water with his hands and forming it into large balls. Guiding them towards the window he would pause in his task and give Aiden a questioning look. ”Show me what? I don’t think now is the time to---Holy Mother of Magi!” What had started out as a hushed whisper ended in a rather loud declaration that he hadn’t meant to let be, well, so loud. He wasn’t at all prepared to see a freaking walking undead coming out in front of Aiden as if it was perfectly normal. Because that wasn’t normal in the slightest! The poor thing was anything but pretty and the smell was pretty rotten. His stomach suddenly felt horrible as the water that had been pulled into perfectly round balls started to distort horrible from his surprise. ”Is…is that even safe? That doesn’t look safe…wait, is that made from it?” Stuttering he pointed at the long sword and a moment alter shook his head. ”On second thought, don’t tell me right now but I will have questions later if that doesn’t try to eat me and if that,” He would gesture to the floor, ”doesn’t kill us.” Like any normal reaction to seeing the undead walk he felt a bit freaked out, concerned, and well, slightly endangered. He knew of one Goddess that was capable of dishing out these kind of skills but he didn’t think they where actually true. Or rather, he convinced himself it wasn’t true because it was just such an unsettling thought and skill to come across. Turning his head away from the two of them he would repeat the phrase again. ”…So many questions…” With attention back to the task on hand and doing his best to pretend there wasn’t a smelly undead thing behind him he would cause the window to open with the water. Pulling all that he could from the on going tap he would send it spiraling out the window in a frozen slide that would carry them safely to the ground and a bit away from the railing and possible blind spots. It took no time for Kaveri to move towards their escape with a small nervous chuckle, ”Hope you two have great balancing skills.” Kaveri took hold of the window and flipped himself out and onto the ice slide without further ado. Sliding down on his feet was natural for the water magi as he often made his own icey fun in the waters of Haven. But as much as he tired to think of this as just another bit of fun was most difficult. The ground was catching up to him pretty quickly, mm, maybe the angle was a bit too sharp but that didn’t matter to him. Twisting the ice as with great precision he stretched it out further across the ground until it would eventually thin out and flow evenly with the ground for him to slow to a reasonable pace at least ten feet from the motel. As soon as his feet hit the hard ground he moved out of the way and hopped three steps backwards to wait for Aiden and his undead companion. While his attention was fully on Aiden a part of him found it suddenly strange that the parking lot was suddenly devoid of life and the people they had first seen upon entering where no longer around. It was a rather unsettling realization that made the water magi scan the area. The cold chill that suddenly traveled throughout his whole body confirmed that he should run as fast as he could out of here. If he had been alone, he would of done just that but instead he remained in place waiting on the ex-hunter to join him. Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette "Sure it is. Either way though, glad that comes in handy at a time like this." Ahhh the wonders of teasing Kaveri at a time like this. It was a good thing the water was still running without electricity, most likely a perk to having the electric probably subverted manually magically. Aiden chuckled heartily at Kaveri's reaction. The Jelly's face lit up from the familiar sense of fright he was used to, seeing a dead body shamble through the door for the first time at his own command. Well, he had been meaning to let him know for a while now, but no better time than being trapped in a broken-down motel that was filled with crazed Mad Magi. For the time being, he'll probably need to withhold answers too until they were safely away and wouldn't need to come here anymore. A ping at the back of his consciousness was sad to just get up and leave whatever was behind this situation to its own devices. Mad Magi sprouted up rarely, but they were a pain to deal with if they had any extensive amount of magical skill. Their minds deteriorated over time and their behavior became ever more unpredictable. Their powers grew the more insane they were and that was quite a bit of a worry for Aiden who knew just exactly how much damage Mad Magi did when they rampaged. While the two he had seen didn't seem like they were in the latter stages of it, they were most certainly on the right track. He and Kaveri could escape now and he could come back and find this place later to shut it down. They pried the window open and using the water Kaveri had extracted from the tap, created a frozen slide all the way down to the ground. Aiden looked at it, reaching down to pat his prosthetic leg. He could do it. It might not be as graceful as Kaveri could be on ice, but he certainly had worked hard enough to make it. "Shouldn't be a problem.", he replied. Once Kaveri had finished and reached the bottom, Aiden moved to the front and steeled himself for the drop ahead. As he did so, Aiden heard a sudden clang burst out from behind him in the furthest darkness of the room. Even with so little visibility, he could make out the silhouettes of two small figures and the dripping of some type of liquid onto the ground. "Great... didn't expect you two would be back so soon."His mind calculated quickly as they charged him, snarling like rabid beasts. It was too much of a disadvantage to fight them up in that small room. If he did so, it would take a while and he might not get out of it unscathed at the very least. With that in mind, he took a glance at the icy slide downwards and quickly launched himself vertically out the window as he did so. While Kaveri had the finesse and experience to ride the ice downwards, Aiden had no such luxury. He rode it haphazardly, speeding himself downwards on both legs as fast as he could go and holding the skeletal sword fast in his grip as the two female Mad Magi plowed out in pursuit. They caught up to him quickly, waving 3 octopus like tentacles and stabbing at him as the slide took a downturn and Aiden readied his defense. One of the tentacles looked to pierce him in the abdomen and he parried it to the side before slashing out and cutting off the tentacle with the sharpened rib cage bone. Another came across and tried to wrap around him, but he twisted his body and managed just enough to slip through it before slashing at the arm of the female Magi. The three of them were locked in shaky combat as the slide came down to its final stretch. All of this happening as they rode the ice down to the ground and Aiden had to jerk himself awkwardly to avoid being caught at angles that almost threatened to throw him off if he didn't manage to balance his frame out. The Magi screamed and one started to cast some type of spell on the way down before Aiden interrupted with swift thrust with his sword and cut her off just as they reached the bottom and Aiden jumped off and immediately ran backwards to get some distance. The two of them didn't manage to control their speed at all and came off the slide at full throttle with momentum to spare. That was enough for Aiden as he had just enough timing with his blade and saw her coming straight at him and not even swerving to think of avoiding danger. Without even thinking, he reacted and bent his spine backwards just as the first Magi tried to hit him like a missile. He veered his body off to the side beneath the tentacles and the skeletal blade cleaved through the Magi's neck as she then flew straight into the dirt. "Get the other one!" he yelled to his Magi companion as the second one too was just seconds behind on the slide and now sprouting wings as she soared down the slopes at them with her feet forming into bladed talons and claws.

[attr="class","trying"] [attr="class","we1"] [attr="class","lost1"]You did not break me
I'm still fighting for peace
Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] There was many times Kaveri had the sudden urge to slap the living fire out of Aiden. Now was one of those very moments that he had to push back the urge to do so. This wasn’t the time to be slapping the daylights out of some snaky ex-hunter. Right now he had much bigger things to be concerned about such as watching the said individual very ungracefully come down the slide. With what appeared to be a very bad dancing partner. ”Shouldn’t be a problem, he says….shouldn’t be…” It was nothing but a mutter under his breath though he was highly concerned for the Aiden’s well being but he was just so done with this situation. With Aiden having two magi’s playing WWE on a slip and slide there wasn’t much he could do about that other then snap the slide in half behind them, causing it to crumble and dissolve back into water. There was no need to give anyone else a free ride to their level. Watching Aiden trying to ice surfer was going to give him a heart attack and so he stood at the ready to extent the area if needed so he couldn’t fall and possibly break himself. Luckily, he wasn’t needed for that but what he was needed for was to take out the next Magi. Standing on the opposite side of where Aiden had came, he didn’t even bother to see what was going on between Aiden and the tentacle ridden magi. His attention was fully on the second one that came barreling down at an alarming speed. However, unlike his campaign he did not unsheathe his sword to cause serious damage. Leaving the blade in its protection he lifted it up and hooked the magi right in the throat. The impact was enough to cause damage to the others windpipes but the impact of wings connecting to a persons body, well, Kaveri’s hadn’t thought of that. He might have experience with a sword but he had very little combat experience as of yet. Normally, he would do his best to get out of any type of fight. So, taking on something an extra appendage didn’t click for him to duck as quickly as he should of even though he had done just that. Kaveri had ducked in his swing but not quick enough to avoid being slapped upside the head with hollow bones and feathers. The force of the impact was enough to knock him on his back. A few words came from him as he was pretty sure the world had just spun a bit too quickly and those might have been some strange stars that flew into his vision. Shaking it off to get on his knees to double check to make sure the crazy ass magi was out like a light. Sure enough, that magi was down for the count. Rubbing the side of his head tenderly he pushed himself back up to a standing position, a bit off balance. ”That’s gonna leave a bruise..” Notes: Hope it made sense, im still abit out of it XD ulla [newclass=.we1]background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/pwAXUvP.png);height:380px;width:400px;padding-top:120px;overflow:hidden;[/newclass][newclass=.avatar]background-color:#363636;width:50%;padding:10px;opacity:.9;transition:1s;border:#666 1px solid;padding-top:30px;padding-bottom:30px;transition-delay:2.5s;[/newclass][newclass=.lost1]font-size:12px;font-family:Alegreya Sans SC;color:#fff;letter-spacing:2px;padding:10px;background-color:#363636;opacity:.9;border:#666 1px solid;width:50%;transition:1s;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;transition-delay:2.5s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .lost1]opacity:0;transition:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .avatar]opacity:0;transition:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.rise]padding-top:25px;height:475px;width:400px;background-color:#272727;opacity:.8;margin-top:200px;transition:2s;transition-delay:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .rise]margin-top:-360px;transition:1.5s;transition-delay:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.dying1]width:80%;padding:10px;background-color:#1a1a1a;border:#444 1px solid;opacity:0;transition:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.mouths1]color:#eee;font-size:10px;text-align:justify;height:370px;overflow:auto;padding:5px;[/newclass][newclass=.lying1]width:80%;padding:3px;background-color:#1a1a1a;color:#777;font-size:10px;text-align:left;border:#444 1px solid;margin-top:10px;padding-left:10px;padding-right:10px;opacity:0;transition:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .dying1]opacity:1;transition:1s;transition-delay:2.5s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .lying1]opacity:1;transition:1s;transition-delay:2.5s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying ::-webkit-scrollbar]width:7px;[/newclass][newclass=.trying ::-webkit-scrollbar-track-piece]background:#444;border-left:3px solid #1a1a1a;border-right:3px solid #1a1a1a;[/newclass][newclass=.trying ::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background:#000;border:#444 1px solid;[/newclass][newclass=.dying1 b]color:#508ACC[/newclass][googlefont=Alegreya Sans SC]

Post by Aiden Garnette on Sept 18, 2017 1:46:02 GMT
Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette Coming down the slide while managing his weight and timing both at the same time was more than a little tricky and as he reached the end, Kaveri was waiting to knock out the second Magi on the ramp with a nicely placed blow. It had the extra effect of sending the smaller Magi onto the ground, but it worked and sent the opponent flying overhead to taste the dirt of the ground. Just as Kaveri had managed to get back on his feet, Aiden was quick to also stab his blade through the Mad Magi's heart. He couldn't be too careful when it came to Mad Magi; he had learned that lesson well a long time ago. With a sigh and a deep breath, he relaxed himself for a moment before heading over to the Jellyfish. "You alright? That was well done, though your form could have been a bit better. You need to not raise your elbow so much and correct your timing. Your reflexes also need a bit of work too." He placed a hand over and through Kaveri's hair to mess it up a little bit. Even if he didn't show it, he was happy that they had both made it out of that scuffle alive. Many Hunters he had known didn't live to fight Mad Magi more than once. They had to leave though and act quickly. After a moment's reprieve, Aiden turned about and started to run while knowing Kaveri would tag behind him. They were in a small clearing on the side of the hotel that was flanked by darkness, but he was certain that they wouldn't be safe or comfortable until they were miles away from this place. Being outside was still a risk, but it was much more preferable to staying in a death trap. Being as it may, Aiden was also worried about what they would find in the surrounding countryside. Most Magi propagated in groups as well as clans; lone actors of Mad Magi were possible since they were utterly insane but not entirely impossible. It was even more worrisome to him if these Magi were members of the Rippers gang. At all costs, they had to avoid a tangle with them. Aiden hurried himself to go as fast as his body could run, rushing off into the abyss of grasslands beyond and leaving the haunted mansion hotel far in their tracks. The clearing was empty and devoid of life, which at first gave him a slight sense of hope. Not that Aiden wasn't used to having his hopes dashed however. He had learned to take hope with a grain of salt when he got it. Not long after they had started running and were halfway across the blanket clearing, the motel lit up like a Christmas tree at their backs. It shined and sparkled blindingly as a chorus of violent humming thronged across the land. The ruckus lasted just as long as Aiden could turn his gaze behind and see the multitudes of people emerge out of the ground. They had been docile before, mindless puppets staying in front as casualties of the trap, Aiden realized too late. Now the horde was staring straight at them and standing in a wide circle around the clearing and all holding hands like some kind of twisted children's game. He would have found it utterly amusing were it not for the fact that a new person was emerging out the front door that made Aiden cringe and face palm himself. They could never catch a break could they? The man from behind the counter strutted like he had just caught too rats in his trap, smirking malevolently with a girlish-looking Magi at his side, but of whom was obviously preferring to remain androgynous. Though the face was feminine, the body was the equivalent of a young boy and he stood at a height that was equal to Aiden's own. "Don't think I'll let you leave here so easily without paying your tab. We went through a lot of trouble for you here; getting that train conductor to go off in a siesta was quite difficult to accomplish. I hope you have enough to pay for your stay here.""It's really not so expensive. Here is the bill: a pizza with dead lady's fingers, 4 pairs of chopsticks, 3 racks of lamb, a serving of children's severed toenails, two cinderella shoes, and.. oh yeah.. ALL YOUR F****G LIFE. Arnie, would you care to do the honors of giving them their send-off present?" Once he snapped his fingers, Arnie's eyes lit up and began to glow with a crimson red light. Her/His body then seemed to expand and grow in size exponentially, blowing up like a hot air balloon and skin was now turning and bubbling. Everything grew until the boy/girl resembled what looked to be a gorilla that was about 10 feet tall. It had grotesquely human features and was one of the most hulking creatures he had ever see and covered with hair that had grown to encompass most its arms. To make their day even shittier, the circle of deranged men and women began to enclose, cornering both Aiden and Kaveri. They stared the two of them down, grinning like fiends as Aiden felt his own sweat drop and now their chances of escaping this mess without a big fight had just gone up in smoke. This was about to get supremely bloody. The Gorilla-Magi stared dumbly before a second finger snap brought the beast to life. And it charged them, ramming and zigzagging forward at full speed like a train literally going out of control. "Tch. Well shit." Aiden prepared himself for battle and readied his sword as the monstrous ape approached.

[attr="class","trying"] [attr="class","we1"] [attr="class","lost1"]You did not break me
I'm still fighting for peace
Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] Shaking away the irritating throb of paint that began to radiate in his head he turned to say something to Aiden. He wasn’t sure on the words exactly but it probably would have been some kind of snaky come back in some form or another. The word though never quite reached his lips. They where permanently lost among the two dead magi around them. Yes, they might have been quite mad and out of their goddamn minds but they where still magi. A sad sigh escaped him, ”I suppose there wasn’t any other way, was there?” More then likely there wasn’t any way to allow them to live regardless of how their numbers dwindled. Lowering his hand the poor jelly winced at the sudden ruffle of hair regardless if the touch being gentle it still caused his head some pain. Waving the unwanted hand he turned towards Aiden with a look of slight annoyance. ”I’m fine. Just have a headache and I’m tired.” Letting out a small sigh he took a moment to make sure his weapon wasn’t about to slip out of his sash. ”Heh, well I haven’t actually been in any real fights. I’ve only practiced so I guess my experience isn’t there.” Well, not yet but he had the feeling he was eventually going to get plenty of experience from here on out. Especially, if he was going to be around Aiden for any long period of time. It was starting to become a thing for them it seemed, finding trouble that was to say. Every time they did anything together or even stand in the same area trouble found them in the most hardcore of fashions. Kaveri would of loved to have their reprieve last much longer sadly it just wasn’t possible. They had to get out of dodge and somewhere that didn’t have crazy people lurking around. Adjusting his bag the jelly soon followed Aiden who had much longer legs. He found it quite appropriate to curse said legs for the moment as it made it hard to keep up with the more athletic of the two of them. While Kaveri was in decent shape he wasn’t the kind to go running through the trees and leap over logs, nope, he much rather loved moving through the cool waters of nature. Where the only concern he had was to avoid bigger fish then himself. It was so much easier in that fashion then running across a dark clearing and having no real idea of where they were headed or what might be around them. Oh, how nice it would have been if he could see in the dark. Alas, that wasn’t happening anytime soon. Nor did it seem that they were going to escape this stupid place anytime soon either. Having not looked back he only came to stop a little past Aiden when he took note of the other stopping. Confused, he turned towards him and was about to ask why he was stopping. Luckily, or rather unluckily in this case, the question didn’t have to be asked with the answer literally encircling them. Kaveri couldn’t stop the very loud, very annoyed, and very tired groan that left his tiny body. ”For the love of Arithelia, you have GOT to be kidding me!” It would have been pretty comical at any other time to see the jelly just drop his shoulders and look up at the sky in complete and utter exasperation. Looking right at the man who once manned the counter he decided to express himself in an very unusual manner that didn’t quite fit his usual persona or occupation by flying the birdie. ”Fuck you. Fuck your tab. Fuck your train and your goddamn insane-non-sensible-order of shit you aren’t going to get.” There had never been a time that he had ever dropped that man bombs ever in one go. Priest or not he was just done. He was done with this whole ordeal twenty times over. He wanted out of here, start a nice fire and go to sleep. Without missing a beat he even turned towards Aiden and held his index finger in the air at him as if he knew Aiden might pop something off directed towards him, ”And don’t you even say what I know you want to say.” Again, he rounded on the balls of his feet to point at Arnie, ”And as for you, GAH!” There was no words he could say right now because said Arnie was becoming some nightmarish thing. Really, this was impossible. ”I swear to god there has to be a Zero in here and I will slap them bald headed at this rate!” Being outside was nice, being outside at dark was even better with grass always having that lovely bit of dew on it though the dew was usually best in the morning but he would make do with it. It seemed to him like Arnie’s ability to move in a straight line didn’t exist and guessing which way he might go next was not in Kaveri’s skill sets. So, he did the next best thing possible pulling water in from what he could to make a single ice spiral out of the large creatures path and into the air, linking it to the tree across the way, making a thin bridge. Sliding across it towards the tree was easy enough and as he slide his way to his destination the back end of the bridge jetted outwards to create a sloping wall to slow the idiot down. ”I’m never taking another train ever again…” Notes: Kaveri says no. ulla [newclass=.we1]background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/pwAXUvP.png);height:380px;width:400px;padding-top:120px;overflow:hidden;[/newclass][newclass=.avatar]background-color:#363636;width:50%;padding:10px;opacity:.9;transition:1s;border:#666 1px solid;padding-top:30px;padding-bottom:30px;transition-delay:2.5s;[/newclass][newclass=.lost1]font-size:12px;font-family:Alegreya Sans SC;color:#fff;letter-spacing:2px;padding:10px;background-color:#363636;opacity:.9;border:#666 1px solid;width:50%;transition:1s;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;transition-delay:2.5s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .lost1]opacity:0;transition:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .avatar]opacity:0;transition:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.rise]padding-top:25px;height:475px;width:400px;background-color:#272727;opacity:.8;margin-top:200px;transition:2s;transition-delay:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .rise]margin-top:-360px;transition:1.5s;transition-delay:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.dying1]width:80%;padding:10px;background-color:#1a1a1a;border:#444 1px solid;opacity:0;transition:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.mouths1]color:#eee;font-size:10px;text-align:justify;height:370px;overflow:auto;padding:5px;[/newclass][newclass=.lying1]width:80%;padding:3px;background-color:#1a1a1a;color:#777;font-size:10px;text-align:left;border:#444 1px solid;margin-top:10px;padding-left:10px;padding-right:10px;opacity:0;transition:1s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .dying1]opacity:1;transition:1s;transition-delay:2.5s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying:hover .lying1]opacity:1;transition:1s;transition-delay:2.5s;[/newclass][newclass=.trying ::-webkit-scrollbar]width:7px;[/newclass][newclass=.trying ::-webkit-scrollbar-track-piece]background:#444;border-left:3px solid #1a1a1a;border-right:3px solid #1a1a1a;[/newclass][newclass=.trying ::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background:#000;border:#444 1px solid;[/newclass][newclass=.dying1 b]color:#508ACC[/newclass][googlefont=Alegreya Sans SC]
