Personality overall
Elise thinks of herself as the consummate businesswoman. She does her job well, and she gets paid for it. The rest of it is all side-perks, in the end. Although she is partially driven by a love of fine things and everything money can buy, she also loves her job because she has the opportunity to savor the weakness of others. A true sadist, she isn't satisfied unless she sees pain of the face of her merchandise, no matter how valuable they are. When she has strict no-harming contracts, she feels like she's been cheated out of some part of the payment. Elise is known in the business for being utterly ruthless and audacious, frequently picking up her merchandise in areas that would be considered high-risk, such as in suburbs or near police stations. After all, without the challenge, what fun would the hunt really be?
In her personal life, she plays things a little more loose and easy. She'll have a fling with anyone that tickles her fancy, but her preference is to take a powerful person and put them under her power. She has no qualms about seducing even Magi, if it means that it will force them to put their guard down. Sometimes, she chooses this method solely for her own amusement, because she enjoys the look of terror and betrayal on their faces. And yet, despite all of these qualities, she is incredibly charming and eloquent on the approach, to the point that people almost never see it coming. She has talked herself out of quite a number of tight spots, and combined with her remarkable success rate, her ease with law enforcement makes her the top of the business.

Elise's ginger-brown hair is cut short, falling to somewhere just below her chin at a sharp angle. This hair often falls in her face and eyes, but she rarely shakes it out of her face. Her eyes are a similar shade of brown, though a little more red in their hue. Her thin eyebrows accentuate the sharp, angular features that make her both beautiful, and predatory in appearance. Rarely seen without a smile on her face, she is obviously a person who is happy with the life that she has built for her self. Unfortunately, her slim figure comes with its disadvantages, particularly her slight musculature. To make up for her physical weakness, she works out regularly, and is very toned as a result. Her favorite colors are blue and brown, and she usually can be found wearing one or both of those colors.
Elise holds herself in very high regard, and this can be seen in the confident way she carries herself. She holds her head high, and has a long stride. The equipment she wears is rarely obvious, but one item that can hardly go unnoticed is the bullwhip that she likes to keep on her belt. Although it is kept coiled, it can be released and used at a moment's notice. If it's not on her belt, it's in her hand, or close by.
Fashion
When on the job, which is any time that she can help it, she wears either a long brown coat or a green one with two lines of black buttons down the front. Her forearms are covered by a pair of black leather gloves that go up to the elbow, and protect her from unwelcome attacks. Beneath the coat, she wears form-fitting black pants that are tucked into her black, knee-high boots. Her shirt is usually a white button-up, under which she always wears a white undershirt. She likes the white because it stains easily, and she likes to keep such souvenirs of her successes. She always wears a golden necklace around her neck, at the end of which is a blue charm. Sometimes, she also wears matching earrings, but only on special occasions. Otherwise, she wears small gold hoops. She loves to dress up, and when she goes somewhere high class, she likes to wear sleek dresses and a lot of jewelry.

biography
Elise was born in a military encampment north of the Kujiua Desert, to an extremely poor woman who had been Sergeant Argent's comfort when he was stationed there. When he found out that she was with child, it was extremely embarrassing for him, considering his wife and two young kids. Unwilling to take the woman back with him to Elios, where his family lived in luxury, he stole Elise from her mother and left the young woman behind when he was rotated back home. Elise has never met her mother, to her knowledge, and has little to no desire to, considering that her father has made a point about how poor she was. Unfortunately, with her brown hair and eyes, she couldn't help but stand out in a family full of black hair and dark eyes. Even her pale skin set her apart from her older siblings. As a symbol of her husband's infidelity, Elise's step-mother could never get over her hatred for Elise.
At the age of two, she was sent away to live with her grandparents, the very wealthy Sati and Dante Argent. Old and lonely, the older couple let her get away with basically anything she wanted. What she wanted most was to be loved by her siblings and parents, but that was never to be. Her father visited very infrequently, and her siblings preferred to pretend she didn't exist. Her step-mother only took an interest in her education, and was emotionally abusive throughout Elise's childhood. Her closest friends were the other kids at school, mostly the trouble-makers. In a school full of rich kids, there was a lot of trouble to be had.
Intelligent but not driven by her studies, Elise floundered in her classes and often got in trouble for picking on the other kids in her class. Her grandparents dismissed these problems as signs of "high spirit," and laughed it off. Her father was even less helpful, encouraging such behavior as "weeding out the weak." She took these lessons to heart, and only got more sadistic as she got older. Squeaking by with a passing grade in school, she didn't bother to apply for higher level education, but her step-mother applied on her behalf anyway. With a good deal of bribery and favors, Elise was accepted into the military academy, where she learned how to fight, and how to channel her destructive energies into other people.
Finally, she learned where she shined in life. She moved up the ranks quickly, having a distinct talent for talking her way into the officers' good graces and being frighteningly good on the battlefield. Her weapon specialties were unconventional at best, but she found away to use them in her job with the interrogation squad. A master at wheedling information out of people, Elise would have had a great career with the Surajan Military, if she hadn't gotten so godsdamn bored. Her unit stumbled onto a slaving operation that was illegally transporting foreign slaves into the country, and she was immediately intrigued. Rather than busting them, as she should have, she talked her unit commander into taking a bribe and letting them go.
Elise deserted the following night and fell in with the slavers. She has been working in the industry ever since, seeing more of the world now than she ever had before. Eventually, she found herself in charge of the small operation (it's a cutthroat business, don't you know), and she started to expand her business interests. At this point in her life, she has amassed a small fortune off of buying and selling slaves throughout Suraja and Ethea. She neither knows nor cares what her parents are up to, but she occasionally writes to her grandmother, who lives alone after the stroke of her husband.

Default Skills
- Melee I (STARTER): Can accomplish fundamental and basic feats with melee weapons. Elise tends to favor the bullwhip and a hunting knife, but she's been known to use riding crops and any number of other implements that are designed to cause pain but do little damage. Her goal is typically to cause as much pain as possible.
- Throwing I (STARTER): Can accomplish fundamental and basic feats with weapon. Elise uses throwing knives and downer darts whenever it suits her, if she is too far away for her other weapons to work. Once she gets closer, she prefers her melee alternatives, however.

Melee III: Depending on your character's insinuated realism a character can be up to a mastery level with this purchase. Even up to being able to slice a bullet from mid air. You are more likely to better a melee levels I and II.
Runic Enchantment:
Main Rune: Fortify - fortifies Injury, makes healing wounds inflicted by it more difficult to heal.
Outer Runes:
Magic Ward - Cancels magic in a radius of 10 feet around the holder.
Animate - when the holder says the weapon's name (Treachery), it comes to life and acts snake-like.
Delay - Delays the Animate rune until the name is spoken.
Reverse - Reverses the Animate rune to render it inanimate again.
Delay - Delays the Reverse rune until the phrase "Time to sleep, Treachery" is said.
Obey - Treachery obeys Elise when it is animated.
Fortify - fortifies the leather of the whip, making it almost impossible to tear.
How You've gotten this: When she was searching for the perfect weapon for her trade, she stumbled across the idea of Runic weapons. Initially, she tried to steal one, but when someone from the college discovered that the weapon was missing from a shipment to the Hunter's Guild, they sent someone to reclaim it. She talked herself into a mutually beneficial business arrangement with the college, providing them with test subjects and (occasionally) pregnant Magi.
Throwing II: You are now better able to throw multiple projectiles at once. Specialized projectiles unlocked: Flash: blinding light will shine from projectile Smoke Screen: projectile will emit smoke screen Net: an impressively strong net will shoot out in hopes of entrapping its target.
