| THE DEAD WALK AMONG US. Well some of them are walking. Others are hobbling, limping, crawling, or flailing helplessly while unable to get back up off their back.
Most Camlorn citizens are hiding indoors out of justified fear. The town's smaller police force are frantically attempting to protect their civilians. When this newest wave of undead entered the town, the rumors were proven to be true. In regards to where you are at the time the emergency sirens began blaring in response to the invasion, you find yourself next to two other people. Seems like surviving the current situation would be easier if you worked together.
OOC ☠ You may write for npc characters in this event. If you want to keep a lost child safe for instance to spice up your thread, you have permission.
☠ It is up to the first poster to set the scene. Are you outside running towards the siren to see how you can help? Are you inside a building trying to keep the swarm from entering and harming npc human civilians inside? etc etc, up to you.
☠ Each member is allowed 48 full hours to reply when it becomes their turn. After two days have past, the next person in line is allowed to respond.
☠ A staff member through out the event may post random occurrences to throw you guys a curve ball.
☠ The undead in this event can be categorized under the classification "roamer". Their souls have moved on and their brains are most likely decayed so there's no memory or basic logic that you can expect from these guys. If they hear sound in one direction, they will follow that lead. They do not use tools such as a rock to break a window, they will merely slam themselves against it. If there's a target on the other side of a broken bridge they will walk off the bridge until there's enough of a pile to possibly get across. (For the sake of the event, consider these to be a reoccurring spawn of sorts; the event will end when the staff post that all the bodies drop)
☠ If you get bit there is no spreading of zombie-ness. These undead are the work of a necromancer's magic, not a virus. They are entering from outside the town inwards, seeming to be searching for the one who summoned them. Cemeteries, morgues, the mass burial ground of magi from the nearest etc, The older an undead, the slower they move. For instance, a body of a recently deceased person from a hospital will be able to run while the body of a 187 year old corpse will be jauntily hobbling at best.
NECROMANCER COUNT There is ONE Necromancer among you (Not named so the member has full creative freedom)

[attr="class","foreign"] [attr="class","dust"] [attr="class","gold"]words [attr="class","gold"]I hope this works to kick things off ;; [attr="class","sun"]A Foreign Sun * I never thought I'd see Something was wrong. Something was very, very wrong.
She'd been out on the town, just having left Camlorn's bus station to put her en route for the numerous shops that lined Le'Fleur street, when an icy chill stopped Fiamma in her tracks. It began as a shiver that prickled goosebumps along the fire magi's skin and made her flesh crawl with that sense of wrongness. Why was she so cold? The innate warmth of Fiamma's own magic seemed to quaver against this... presence that was seeping, rooting itself into her— a touch like skeletal fingers brushing at the back of her neck —and she made a stifled gasping sound as she clutched at her elbows, still stopped in the middle of the street.
Her focus was far from concerned with the odd looks she might have been getting, but it was still not long before Fiamma began to feel horribly exposed out in the open (afraid of what she was feeling) and she fled towards the nearest alleyway just to find some cover. The comfort this offered was slim to none. Another sound fought free from her throat, this one a strained whimper, and Fiamma shuddered again as her back thumped against a brick wall and her knees nearly felt weak enough to give out under her. Gods, what WAS this? As a magi she could feel the presence of— of magic, but it was a foreign thing slithering its way through her veins and only swelling higher, stronger in presence, without heed of her will. It didn't seem to care about whether she wanted it to awaken or not and the lack of control frightened her immensely.
Fiamma could feel it... calling something to her. A soundless siren that sang out of her very skin, to the air and the earth, with a growing intensity. The fire magi soon gave in to the urge to curl into herself as she tried to block it out and that was how she passed nearly an hour of time— huddled against the wall of a narrow, quiet alley. The sensation of magnetism steadily grew as undead began to lurch past the city limits and Fiamma could feel the thrum of this new, profoundly dark power all the way out to the tips of her horns. The girl was so focused on looking inwards that she didn't take heed of the world around her again until screams echoed from streets away, drawing nearer and pitching louder (intermingled with the sounds of gunshots) in the face of the zombie menace.
Still, Fiamma stayed put. She didn't know what to do; she didn't know what was even happening to her much less how to control it. The fire magi just uncurled enough to stare down at her hands which had become wreathed in an ominous purple glow. Ding! The door to Battle Begin! weapon shop opened out into the calm streets of the Le Fleur shopping district. Two young lads stepped out of the relatively small and unappreciated store, holding their new purchases. One, a short young man with black hair and a clean face was examining his recently purchased revolver. I’d say new but this thing hadn’t been considered new in over a century. “Yuki, Look at that beeeauty.” He said, spinning the unloaded weapon around his finger, pretending as if he placed it in a side holster. ”I don’t know why you like those things, Hosokawa.” said the white haired lad next to him. ”Guns are boring. But swords~” He unsheathed his purchase, a Scimitar. He fell in love when he first laid eyes on it. Usually scimitars are wider, but this one thinned the blade allowing for quicker strikes. It was the perfect combination of the Surajian Scimitar and the Ikigaian katana. Yuki began to twirl the sword around, beginning with a few tricks to get the balance down on it. It was perfect, the tip of the blade was weighted just enough that the sword had increased momentum while performing flourishes. ”Swords have a sexy badassery about them. That you just cant beat.”Hosokawa recoiled, moving away from the swinging blade. “Dude! Put that away. That shit’s actually battle ready.” A laugh came from the pair as Yukimaru sheathed the sword. “What else did you get man?” Hosokawa said as he boxed his pistol away. ”Just some more throwing knives.” Yukimaru said, followed by a laugh. ”I keep loosing mine.” Yukimaru displayed 2 sets of steel knives with black tape wrapped around the handles, a total of 8. After getting the requited compliment from his friend he placed them into his backpack, tying the sword and sheathe to it as well; he didn’t feel like carrying a shopping bag for the rest of the day. Yukimaru had a couple days off from the restaurant, days that happened to coincide with the days his old friend had off as well. Yuki and Hosokawa were best friends back in middle school. However, Hosokawa had to move to Dagos before they even reached high school. Yuki kept in touch as much as he could, but for the past couple of years it was mostly holiday wishes and a visit here or there. But this time, they were old enough that both could drive and had their own money to spend. So the two of them decided to meet halfway in Camlorn to hang out like old times. ”So what’cha wanna do now?” Yuki said, throwing his bag over his shoulder. However before he got an answer the sound of the siren rang out through the town. The two looked around, confused on what could cause such an alarm. All they could see was a crowd of people heading towards the center of the city, barreling right towards them. Yuki pulled Hosokawa back towards the wall just as someone nearly plowed right into him. ”Hey !Watch it!” The two stood in awe against the wall as the mass of people ran by one by one. ”HEY WAIT.” Yuki called, grabbing a guy by the collar. ”What’s going on?”The man nearly fell over from the sudden jolt backwards. His eyes filled with terror as he turned around and screamed “AHH! DON’T EAT ME!” as he flailed in Yuki’s grasp. ”Woah woah woah. Calm down man!” Yuki said, letting go of the crazy guy. After a stumble, the man fell to the ground. He turned around and finally looked at his ‘assaulter’ and began to calm down. ”Okay man.” Yukimaru said, kneeling down next to him. ”What’s going on?”“ZOMBIES!” He replied. “We were visiting the cemetery and suddenly they just popped out of the ground! LIKE DAISIES!” Hosokawa looked at the man with a worried expression. Zombies? Could that even be true? Necromancy hasn’t been in the world for ages… He turned to his friend, see what he… Oh no… Yukimaru was grinning from ear to ear. His eyes were shining brightly, burning with passion. ”ZOMBIES?! AND YOU’RE RUNNING AWAY?!” Yuki’s hand immediately reached for his new sword. ”Which way is the cementary?” Hosokawa looked at Yukimaru with a dumbfounded expression. Could he seriously not gain a single ounce of maturity since middle school? ”Uhh.. I mean.” Yuki cleared his throat and scratched the back of his head. ”To help out any stragglers of course.”“Mhmm. Right.” Hosokawa said, rolling his eyes. Though he had to admit, Yukimaru was right, they did need to help out where they could. And if Yukimaru’s place was the front lines, so be it. “You head to that way and protect people who cant get away” He started to unpack his pistol and the small box of ammo he got with it. “I’ll head towards the center of town. Warn people about the danger.” ”Good Luck” Yuki said, holding out his fist. “Have Fun.” Hosokawa responded, bumping the fist with his own. ”Don’t die!” And with that Yukimaru sped off into the heart of the danger. * * * Tags: kyne Fiamma Maritz OOC Notes: Decided to say “F*ck off” to the unfinished post template. [attr="class","trying"] [attr="class","we1"] [attr="class","lost1"]Understand I'm Strange, Twisted and Derranged [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"]The things she did for money…. or was it her sparkling moral conscience that brought her to this quaint town of hell? Kyne had forgotten after taking a step off the train to hear confirmed reports of the undead wandering the small streets of Camlorn. Now she wanted to turn her happy ass right around to aboard the next train. Sadly, that was no longer an option. Zombies had quickly overrun every way out, leaving her to wander about while hordes of civilians ran by in a fit of screams. So far she had managed to stay out of sight as long as she travelled through the dark alleyways.
“Tch, Mae owes me for this.” She grumbled, adjusting her supply bag that she kept secured upon her back. This was supposed to be a simple mission, grab a body and head back to the nearest safe point so she could examine the possible cause of the walking corpses. Then, she’d find some sort of way to negate the magic causing this. There was no way in hell a virus could. A brain doesn’t function after rotting for a week or two. When it’s off for days, it’s fucking off forever. Only magic could cheat biology.
Exhaling, Kyne silently walked along a narrow alley. Around her, she could hear a symphony of shrieks calling for help. Unfortunately, there was no way for her to aid them, yet. So she would trudge on with her blue-green eyes examining every single aspect of her surroundings. The brick walls that towered over her head, the rats that scampered past her boots, the strange girl huddled several yards ahead of her.
’Doesn’t look like she’s undead… She thought, quietly approaching the young girl with her hand grasping the gun at her hip. “Hey, you ok? You shouldn’t be out here, kiddo.” The words were soft when they rolled off her tongue, showing genuine concern for the other. She was a magi like herself, no doubt. The horns were a dead give-away just like her own antlers that sprouted from her head. The only thing that threw off major warning signs was the violet glow enveloping her hands. That wasn’t a familiar magic aura to her, and she had seen her fair share. “Are you having issues with your powers?” Kyne asked, raising a curious brow."I can help you."

[attr="class","foreign"] [attr="class","dust"] [attr="class","gold"]words [attr="class","gold"]notes [attr="class","sun"]A Foreign Sun * I never thought I'd see She had to get this under control, somehow. Or at least pull herself together enough to not remain in this sorry, helpless state, which was unfortunately far easier said than done.
Fiamma was not in pain, per say, but the sensation of this strange magic had crashed over her with the intensity of a tidal wave and left her floundering to even think straight. It felt as if her nerves were going on the fritz— firing in mad bursts before freezing up entirely —and it left the fire magi with muscles that seized and twitched uselessly any time she tried to move. The temptation to surrender and let her body go limp was a potent one, but she was still stubborn enough to at least keep herself upright (in a sort of awkwardly crouched/balled up position) and she gradually began to see headway being made. ...sort of.
The severe shock to her system seemed to be fading, Fiamma's body painstakingly beginning to acclimate to this foreign, wrong presence, which left the tremors to give way to softer shudders, then shivers, then a simple chill that stubbornly lingered in the very marrow of her bones. It was still hardly pleasant, but Fiamma could actually move again. She could think.
The scaled magi might have even rejoiced her improvement, had she not been interrupted by a voice that called to her from the mouth of the alleyway. Gods, Fiamma hadn't even noticed someone approaching the alley. How was that for helpless? One vibrant, cobalt eye showed from beneath the shadow of Fiamma's hair as she lifted her head enough to peer at the new arrival— a magi, if the antlers were any indication; that was a stroke of luck since, frankly, she would have been in a shit position to deal with someone looking to attack her —and gather her breath for a reply. ❝I don't know,❞ Ugh, was that a quaver? The fire magi cleared her throat in an attempt to get some strength back in her voice just as she braced a hand against the bricks behind her and used it to drag herself back to standing. Her knees gave a brief wobble and another shiver rippled down her spine. ❝Something's... weird. Hell if I can explain it, but I— yeah, hah, there's an "issue".❞
Fiamma's voice did sound firmer this time around, but she still felt anything but steady and she could still feel the dark touch of the new magic crawling under her skin. It was still sending out its call (to what, she didn't know) and radiating out from her with disturbing force— this manifested in the ghostly glow that rippled around her fingers and even tinted her eyes in a purplish hue. Fiamma opened her mouth to speak to the other magi again, when she noticed movement at the entrance of the alley again.
A grouping of about five undead had lurched into view and, as Fiamma's own gaze snapped towards them, all five sets of glazed, unseeing eyes fixed upon her with a directness that made her skin crawl. ❝...company.❞ [newclass=.gold]background-color:#fff;padding:2px;border-left:#222e8e 10px solid;font-family:century gothic;font-size:10px;color:#121b5e;width:120px;margin-top:10px;opacity:0;transition: 1s all;text-align:left;[/newclass] [newclass=.dust]-webkit-filter: grayscale(1); filter: grayscale(1);transition: 1s all;[/newclass] [newclass=.sun]-webkit-filter: grayscale(1); filter: grayscale(1);transition: 1s all;[/newclass] [newclass=.foreign:hover .dust]-webkit-filter: grayscale(0); filter: grayscale(0);transition: 1s all;[/newclass] [newclass=.foreign:hover .gold]opacity:1;transition: 1s all;[/newclass] [newclass=.foreign:hover .sun]-webkit-filter: grayscale(0); filter: grayscale(0);transition: 1s all;[/newclass] [newclass=.foreign ::-webkit-scrollbar]background-color:#fff;width:1px;[/newclass] [newclass=.foreign ::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background-color:#666;width:1px;[/newclass] [googlefont=La Belle Aurore]

"Quickly Head to higher ground! They can’t climb for shit!”Yukimaru called behind him as he wrenched his sword out from the skull of a slain zombie. Immediately he used that momentum and redirected the force towards another zombie’s face, cutting the head clean off. He looked behind him to make sure that the guy he just saved did the smart thing and moved. He did not. "What are you doing? Get out of here!” He yelled, quickly dodging out of the way of a zombie trying to grab his arm. Without missing a beat he sliced downward, cutting off the arms at the elbows and brought the sword back up to impale the head from below. It’s been an hour since Yukimaru stupidly decided to run to the front lines. It’s been an hour since the words “Zombie Apocalypse” was first mentioned in Camlorn. And it’s been about an hour that Yuki’s been wearing his usual stupid grin. So far, his Usually terrible luck seems to have held on the positive side. He’s not dead yet. Strangely enough, he’s actually been able to help a few people. Usually if small hordes of 4 or 5 zombies gather at a door, alleyway or window, he’s been able to draw them off and take them down, allowing for trapped people to escape. And while yea, sure, he’s been having the time of his life. He’s still has been trying to put people first. He’s been failing that, but at least he’s trying. However, throughout this past hour, he’s been slowly and slowly forced to retreat. Backing up further and further inward. There were just too many. Even his stupid brain could understand that. But he was damn sure he was going to take out as many as he could until he had to make his last stand…. And come out victorious of course. By now, Yuki was starting to get incredibly thirsty. He was used to workout lasting more than an hour, but he still drank water during those. And boy was he getting parched. His smile finally faded as he looked around for a convenience store. And eventually he ended up heading back towards Le Fleur Street. No surprise, there was at least 3 to chose from. Without question, Yuki entered a particularly empty store and walked straight back to the beverage coolers, all still completely stocked. "Huh, Some Apocalypse this turned out to be.” he said, opening up the cooler and grabbing bottled water. As he drank his mind went back to all the zombie games he played through the years. All of them he adored beyond all reason. So far, he was happy that there were no mutant-like zombies. Those were always super hard to fight. He’s also happy that none of them could move faster than a slight jog. Running undead were always the worst. From what he could tell, these were Roamers. Basic. Slow. Stupid. Cannon fodder. But… he finished the bottle and his smile returned. They were super fun to kill. He heard a moan coming from the door. Immediately Yukimaru followed his instincts and ducked behind the shelf. Peering out, he grasped his sword, ready to count and see how many he needed to take out. 1..2..3.. 5… 9… oh shit..Yuki watched as small hordes began to bunch up. Now they traveled in groups, far larger groups. Twenty easy were passing the door at this very moment. Yeeeaaaahhhh Best to take the back door. he thought, placing his hand on the shelf to pick himself up. He started to get up, placing some weight on the shelf to brace him but then…. CRASH! Yukimaru fell through. The shelf collapsed sending all the beef jerky and over priced chips sprawling to the floor with a metallic clang. The shelf seemed to bounce forever sending what seemed like a shockwave with each clang. "ffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccckkkkkkk me”Yukimaru picked himself up just in time to see the first zombie enter the front door. With it, nearly every zombie in the vicinity turned his direction and began stumbling towards the store. Yukimaru drew his sword and headed towards the back, trying to find the rear entrance. Eureka. He found it. However, Yukimaru was greeted with a very noticeable resistance when he tried pulling the handle. It was locked tight. "Oh fuck me sideways.” Yukimaru darted back towards the store. After dodging the first zombie and killing the next, Yuki took a plunge through the window. The force erupted over Yuki as glass shards bounced off his skin. Doing a simple shoulder roll to land, Yuki ran back down the street, having no idea that he now had a fairly large gash on his shin. Adrenaline was pumping. He couldn’t feel a thing other than his desire to chop some heads. Lucky for him, he managed to see a small horde up ahead about to head into an alley. Yuki smiled and broke out into a sprint, gripping his sword with both hands. He pounced, attacking with all of his strength and slicing through one of the zombie heads and getting three-quarters through the other one. As he landed he brought the sword back, slicing upwards and cutting a massive wound in one of the zombie’s chest. Yuki pulled the sword down, bringing up some momentum to sending a back spin kick at the jaw of nearly headless nick, ripping the rest of the head off. Next came the two that already started to enter the alley. With a quick two slashes one was down for the count. Last one, Yuki kicked the poor sap in the chest, sending it to the ground. And without question, Yuki walked up and plunged the sword into their skull. Oh shit there were people here. Okay. This was his chance; To be the hero, To be the protagonist. He had to choose his next words carefully, the hero always had a badass one liner to say right after showing up and saving the day. This would prove his Protagonist role. Yukimaru flicked the dead man's blood off his sword looked the two girls in the eye and said... "Come with me if you wanna live.”Nailed it. However. What Yuki didn’t realize was that he didn’t fully take out one of the zombies. It had gotten up and been walking towards Yuki. If either of the two Girls in the alley didn’t stop the zombie, Yuki would be welcomed with a nasty bite on his left shoulder as the zombie enacted its revenge. * * * Tags: kyne Fiamma Maritz OOC Notes: Yuki needs help guys. and maybe a therapist.

[attr="class","trying"] [attr="class","we1"] [attr="class","lost1"]Understand I'm Strange, Twisted and Derranged [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"]“I noticed.” Kyne replied, keeping a careful eye on the girl. “Don’t overexert yourself, it wouldn’t be good if you blacked out here. Good news is I’m a…zero magi. I can help you.” There was definitely something off with this one. Not her personality, as far as kyne could tell she meant no harm. Although, the eerie glowing was definitely playing a toll on the other’s body. In order to properly treat her she would need to figure out if this was a natural occurrence, or related to the magic causing the undead to rise.
“Did this strange feeling just start happening? What kind of magi are you?”Another round of questions were fired off as she furrowed her brows. If she had to guess, it seemed like this girl was developing a new ability. Not impossible, yet still uncommon at her age. Perhaps if she could—
”Company…”
Kyne snapped her gaze to the other end of the alley just in time to see five corpses limping their way. “Ah, fuck. Stay behind me, kid.” Narrowing her eyes, she pulled the handgun from her holster while her other hand pulled out another metal piece from her coat. With ease, the silencer snapped into place, causing a small blue light to flash on the side of the barrel. Technology made things so much easier these days. Slender fingers snaked comfortably into place the moment her arms extended out to aim, keeping both emerald eyes open to….”Dammit!” Kyne cursed, lowering the weapon in response to a vigilante that suddenly appeared hacking and slashing his way to them.
Can’t really be mad at the heroic deed, although….what was up with that last line? Did he steal that from a movie? A small chuckle left her lips, “This is going to be amusing…” The words left her tongue in a deep murmur. A small smile was tugging the ends of her mouth, but instantly fell when she got sight of the last corpse creeping behind the man. “Get down!” She snapped, taking her aim once again before firing a bullet right into the creature’s skull.
At first it froze, letting its crooked jaw drop a lot faster than its dirtied body. There was no blood, no scream. Just a loud thump that the magi took as a good sign. Not that she waited to watch the whole scene. Afterwards, her gaze searched along the alley until the spotted a better way out. A foot or so from her position hung a fire escape with the ladder pulled up. A simple fix.
Lifting her hand into the air kyne made a yanking motion, encouraging her telekinesis to force the ladder down within reach. “This way. The rooftops are safer than the streets.” The first set of words were directed at the younger girl. However, the next set directed at the man weren’t as…soft. “Hey Terminator! C’mon! We could use a little muscle.” She called out, gripping the metal side of the ladder.

[attr="class","foreign"] [attr="class","dust"] [attr="class","gold"]words [attr="class","gold"]this took me forever hhh sorry [attr="class","sun"]A Foreign Sun * I never thought I'd see ❝Nn— fire magi,❞ Fiamma's words emerged somewhat laboriously, as if it was taking extra effort to order a coherent phrase and keep her voice level, accompanied by a flippant hand gesture. ❝It just... happened, while I was walking. I don't know why.❞
Hearing that the other girl was a zero magi was a bit heartening (assuming that this was something that could even be treated), but Fiamma was left very little time to explain more of the situation before an interruption rolled around. The shuffling footsteps and groans immediately grabbed her attention and one clawed hand flew to her jacket's pocket, finding her trusty hunk of flint, in preparation for a fight. At least until the other magi stepped between her and the incoming danger. Fiamma's warning had apparently prompted her into action without any hesitation and, honestly, the fire magi was having mixed feelings about being protected.
On one hand, she definitely wasn't feeling back to top shape just yet— her legs were cooperating enough to stand without assistance but the strange, woozy headache that pulsed in time with the new magic within her made it hard to focus —so fighting on her own? Might not turn out so well. Otherwise, Fiamma had never been the type to like sitting down through all the action (much less be treated like she was incapable of helping) so she was left simmering in a mixture of frustration, annoyance, and the barest hint of relief. She was not a kid. At least the encounter ended rather quickly, courtesy of both the other magi and a new arrival to the alley.
Fiamma hadn't caught the exact words he'd spoken but the tone carried a sort of overly heroic flair that made her want to sigh, loudly. She said nothing out loud to comment, though, and just turned her attention to the descending fire escape that had been pulled into reach with the help of a bit of telekinesis. To the rooftop— yeah, that sounded safer than down here, at the very least. The scaled magi's muscles still felt weak, protesting the effort to clench her fingers around steel rungs and haul her body up, but Fiamma had no interest in letting the feeling keep her from pressing onwards and grit her teeth to bear through it. Clank, clank, clank, clank— another chorus of rasping groans drifted through the air and Fiamma froze in place for a moment. Long enough to throw a glance over her shoulder and see the new pack of undead, larger than before, stumble their way towards the alley.
❝Shit,❞ Okay okay no time to lose get on up there. Fiamma stumbled her way up onto the roof as quickly as her uncooperative limbs would allow, the purplish glow still flaring bright around her hands, and she was exceedingly disturbed by the behavior of the corpses. As soon as they caught sight of her they didn't seem to want to look away. Staring, all of them. With a shudder she backpeddaled away from the ledge and waited anxiously for the other two to make their way up before the zombies got in too close. “Get down!”Yukimaru froze as the girl aimed the pistol directly at him. As his mind raced between fight, flight, and trying to figure out what she said in the first place, however it was too late. There was no loud bang, but Yuki could feel the bullet pass right over his shoulder and a certain thunk from it colliding with something. With startled eyes he turned his head just in time to see the zombie with a bullet wound right in the head. It’s jaw dropped and soon the rest of the body followed suit. Hoooooly shit. he thought as he looked at the zombie. He noticed the very large gash on his chest, the second one he thought he took out. Damn. He got sloppy. The metallic clang of the fire escape ladder falling woke Yukimaru out of the semi trance he was in. He looked to see the girl with black hair starting up the ladder, with the other one calling out to him. “Hey Terminator! C’mon! We could use a little muscle.”… Muscle?Yukimaru’s eyes became beaming stars as his ego got a massive stroke. Who’s the hero protecting the ladies? This guy. Who’s the biggest badass that ever badassed? This guy~ The young man’s smile came back as he replied ”Sure! Sounds like fun!” He jogged too the ladder just in time to see the new wave of zombies round the corner. ”ahh Frik.” he said, double-timing up the ladder and onto the roof. Phhheeeeewwwwww~ He said, Looking back down at the zombies now gathering around the ladder. ”Good thing they cant use ladders.” he said with a laugh. After that he turned around to finally actually look at the two companions he just picked up. First he looked at the One who shot the zombie, she had strawberry pink hair… and. Wait… Were those antlers? Yuki’s jaw dropped as he looked at the one with black hair; surely enough he saw the Black horns blending in with the hair. He was with two magi. ”Oh wow! You two are Magi?!” He said, showing his excitement with his body language. ”That’s So Cool. What sort of Magi are you? My mom’s an Air magi but she doesn’t really practice it at home. I always thought it would be cool to have magic powers. But I’m not the studying type so I can’t go for the runic school.”Yukimaru talked without the light in his eyes fading. While you could tell he want the brightest of the bunch, you could at least see that he was as genuine as he could be. Somehow that little feature of his brought comfort to those around him. Which would certainly be useful in a time like this. He paused and took a breath from his rambling before continuing. ”Oh, I forgot. Name’s Yukimaru. Who’re you guys?”

[attr="class","trying"] [attr="class","we1"] [attr="class","lost1"]Understand I'm Strange, Twisted and Derranged [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] Fiamma’s words were taken into consideration and a mental note was taken. At the moment there wasn’t much room for Kyne to reply. With the new addition to their group and the ominous groans drifting through the air, the magi had her hands a bit full. Although, when she did have a minute to think it through, it didn’t make sense for a fire magi to give off an aura like that. When they got to safe ground she would have to search the database for more information.
For now, Kyne kept a careful eye on the other magi as she made her way up the ladder. It was then that she caught sight of the oncoming horde limping their way over to them “Fuck….how did they find us so quickly?”She muttered, taking note that they only locked their gaze on Fiamma. Blue-green eyes jumped from the girl to the horde until she willed her own body to ascend the metal ladder. Well, at least she found the source.
Pulling herself over the rooftop ledge, the woman immediately leaned over to watch the man follow suit. Once he was safe, her own hands glowed a gentle green as she used her power to yank the ladder away from the zombies’ grasp. “Better safe than sorry.” She replied, turning to face the other two with a weary sigh. At least her company seemed the positive sort that didn’t panic.
“You can call me ‘Dr. Strange’ if it pleases you. I don’t really give out my name.” The words left her lips in a comical manner as she searched the rooftop for anything useful. Since she just began her career in the black market it was probably best not to give out her personal information all willy nilly. It was safer for everyone that way. “I’m a Zero Magi, and I believe you mentioned you were a fire magi?”Her gaze switched to the dark-haired girl for a moment. “We just met.”

[attr="class","foreign"] [attr="class","dust"] [attr="class","gold"]words [attr="class","gold"]angry magi noises [attr="class","sun"]A Foreign Sun * I never thought I'd see So they were all up and out of harm's way; that was good. Fiamma spared a soft breath of relief as she heard the clank of the ladder retracting, out of the reach of any dead, grasping hands, and flicked her gaze back up to regard the two people she was accompanied by. More accurately, these seemed to be the ones who would be keeping her company through whatever debacle had descended upon Camlorn. Zombies? Really? The fire magi was honestly hoping that all of this would turn out to be a bad dream brought on by reading one too many horror novels.
❝Mhm, we are.❞ She said in response to the human's comment about the two of them being, well, not so human by comparison. He seemed to be the... chatty type— which she didn't think she had the highest tolerance for right now —but the energetic curiosity he seemed to display was anything but threatening, so Fiamma was at least relieved to find that they hadn't tacked on some horrible racist for the ride. That would have been a trial. Ah, so his mother was a magi; the tolerance made sense.
❝What she said,❞ A pause for a queer look thrown the other magi's way. Doctor Strange? It was an interesting alias to take and, naturally, Fiamma couldn't help wondering about the reasoning behind why she chose not to share her true name. Not that she would press the issue. ❝I'm Fiamma. Fire magi. Plus whatever's... going on here.❞
Which really did a good job of summarizing how much she understood of what was going on with her magic (hint: nothing). This had to be some sort of fire magic, right? Magi didn't suddenly start developing powers unrelated to their nature— that didn't happen, yet here Fiamma was having no luck getting the strange, violet glow to obey her will as she would a flame. The scaled magi loosed a low growl as she tried, yet again and without success, to quell the power that was still prickling under her skin like a network of live wire before turning around with a frustrated wave of her hands. She ran her claws through her hair, huffed once, and then turned back to her companions.
❝Alright. Now that we're up here and have all the introductions out there, do either of you have any ideas on where we should head? I know that Camlorn's town hall shelters people during emergencies but it could be... difficult to actually get there. Given all of this—❞ A vague hand gesture towards the nearby ledge, where the undead could still be heard groaning in symphony down below. Group Three: Assemble!Location: Camlorn: Le Fleur Street Time: Day Yuki's iPod: Iron Doctor Strange, Yukimaru and Fiamma. Definitely an interesting group we find ourselves in. Unbeknownst to them all, the three magi were standing in one of two focal points of this horde. Nevyne has caused her chaos, and it was up for the three of our heroes to work together to stop and defeat this zombie uprising.
Yukimaru listened to their introductions. Doctor strange, eh? He thought, with a chuckle. Whatever, it works. At least this doc’s actually a doctor. his eyes turned to the other magi. Fiamma, she called herself. The Magi seemed to be acting weird, Yuki noticed, but couldn’t exactly place his finger on it. The part where Fiamma said all of this was her went completely in one ear and out the other apparently. ”Doc and Fia.” he said, already shortening their names so it was easier for him to remember. ”Nice to meet’cha”
As Fia continued Yukimaru walked to the other side of the roof, standing on the ledge and getting a good view of their surroundings. Yuki somehow felt at home on the roof of buildings, the heights and the wind seemed to be everything he wanted in the world; even for just split second he was at peace up here. He took a deep breath, instantly coughing from the smell of smoke and decomp filling the air. As Fiamma mentioned City Hall, Yuki’s eyes naturally looked to the direction where he could find it. As he did so there was the faint sound of an Explosion from that direction, with a pillar of black smoke starting to rise from city hall.
“Yaaaa…. Plus I don’t think City Hall’s gonna be standing when we get there.” He added, pointing at the direction of the smoke.
Yukimaru hopped down from the ledge and back onto the roof, completely unfazed by the group of zombies below him grabbing at the air to try to reach him. ”So far my goal has just been help as many people as possible, and take out any zombie in my way. As long as we do that, I’m game with whatever you guys come up with.”
BOOM!
A massive explosion echoed across Camlorn as a distant gas station was blown to kingdom come. The pillar of fire rose high into the sky for an instant before turning to a cloud of ash.
”Well, I think I know where the zombies are heading….” he said, his back turned to the two of them as his head and gaze followed the cloud of smoke rise higher and higher into the sky. ”I say…” he turned around to the opposite way of the blast. ”We head that way and take out the stragglers. Cut their numbers and look for survivors. “
Amazingly. Yuki’s knowledge with video games and TV were finally coming in handy in real life. In this instance he actually managed to come up with a good plan. Good job Yuki, pat yourself on the back.
Listen up! My words are #87cefa! My thoughts are Italic. Notes: BREAKING OUT THE NEW TABLE FUCK YEA. *cough* I mean. um.. Yuki basically considers kyne the boss lady and will take the frontline wherever you decide to go. Good plan, great plan. Edited: Yukimaru still retains his original FC during this time (see left). Also the exploding Gas station is in fact the one from group one. and the car explosion and fire at town hall from group four. (Yea buddy tying in shit) Tags: Fiamma Maritz kyne

| THE DEAD WALK AMONG US.
POST
The damage of the attack would be shown all throughout the small city of Camlorn and waypoint between the two major cities of Ethea Felici and Dagos. For whatever reason the characters had found themselves in the city it would most certainly be an experience they would not forgot. From the dead rising to the fact that they were trying to eat innocent citizens who had done nothing wrong. Everyone certainly had an experience of some sort.
City hall had been set on fire, a gasoline station had been blown up, and the dead roamed into the streets of the small city. Things had certainly happened and the people around would certainly learn to cremate their dead soon enough. If there were no bodies, this meant there was no chance of the dead rising for the next meal. The people of Camlorn would soon be wiser from this event.
As such, everyone would be amazed to see that the dead would fall silent. Their bodies not moving, keeping still against the floor where they would fall. If prompted they would not wake, this time most certainly deader than dead. The zombies were fallen once again, leaving only a mess, disaster, and confusion in their wake. Along with the fallen dead people, two would fall as well, exhaustion overpowering their limbs, eyes growing heavy as both, Fiamma, and Aiden would pass out, drifting into a slumber.
Slowly, citizens would emerge from their buildings, and a cheer would rise. The dead had fallen. The threat was over. The living had emerged victorious, and they had conquered over a zombie infestation. It was awe inspiring and each of the group would witness a camaraderie between all races, a party beginning to be thrown as the bar owners would break out the booze, and the clubs blaring music. There would be a party in the streets as citizens would focus on finding family and friends ensuring their safety.
A member of the public would approach each of the groups that had emerged during the conflict. Each would offer a small reward to each member. The Heroes of Camlorn had the citizens gratitude, and were welcome any time, no matter the race of the people. Race seemed to be of little consequence when the dead would rise and attack.
Slowly but surely it could be said that Camlorn would rebuild, cremate their lost loved ones, and grow again into the prosperous stopping point between Dagos and Felici. For now though, people were focused on their safety and the safety of their family and friends.
