Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette Haven had been simply a breathtaking sight and possibly more than Aiden could take in all at once. Like glancing at a stellar portrait, coming upon it was a memory he would like to treasure. In the simplest of words: It felt natural. The luscious green and humorous oranges teased the senses indelibly, just as if not moreso than wandering upon Dagos. This beauty though wasn't built artificially like Dagos, for lack of a better word, it was utterly and completely magical.
He descended down into a sea of greenery, flanked by many passersby bearing themselves majestically while Aiden felt ragged with a head of snow white hair that flaked and spiked from the humidity and beading sunlight. Inside Haven, the feeling was much different from the one he had expected. He was greeted cordially and with respect, though he could tell that it was a bit forced by the tone they used. Some of it suggested more than words could say and the man himself felt the drawback within himself. Remorse and a whole host of other emotions assailed him relentlessly, but he silenced and forced himself to put on a play of calm. He wanted to help them, to make their lives better than this.
The houses were built majestically, with the gleaming rays amplifying the radiant colors that were already there. Strolling along the bulwark, every person seemed to be at peace, even if a few silent glares did come his way and became more noticeable as he went, making the pang in his throat even harder to swallow.
Note: I think this should pick off chronologically from where "Hunters must Hunt" ends. Aiden traveling from the Mountains down and deeper into the Arecia Woods towards the Magi stronghold seems like an ideal thing for him to do, more or less to recuperate and possibly take the Hunters off his scent. Also, I ran out of a lot of things to say here so it isn't a long starting post...

[attr="class","pDMain1791368560"] My flames will serve as your funeral pyre... Post The roar of the crowd, their applause, and the final bow of the show resonated in Yukata's mind long after the act ended as her body plopped back onto the inn's comfy mattress. A smile would grace her lips whilst her eyes set their gaze upon the oak-lined ceiling above lit only by the old antique lanterns that were situated on the walls around the room. It was a far cry from her origins bringing her to feel content if not fortunate to be in such a place let alone to do what she'd been doing all these years. Seeing the smiles on her patrons' faces every night and then finally being able to come home to an inns' comfortable embrace at the end of it all was heaven on earth in her mind. Even if at the end she didn't get to sleep in a comfy room with all of the amenities she could've asked for just seeing those smiles and applauds was enough to keep her going day in and day out. It was by far what she lived for and what she strove every single time she'd performed to accomplish in order to spread the same love she'd felt when she'd first witnessed the craft that would become her passion. However, as was it with all living things, while she fed and lived off of the applause and smiles that she attained while performing her body did need sustenance. After such a big show and exerting herself as she had she could feel her stomach beginning to grumble lurching out in a way that it only could to tell her in its own fashion to satiate it.[break][break]
With that, despite feeling content otherwise, Yukata arose from the bed sitting on the edge of it to bolster herself up to her feet as her long silken brunette and intermittently transparent hair trailed off behind her over her attire. Moving towards the restroom to clean up and get her garb off she passed by a mirror peering into it momentarily catching sight of her long white coat and its puffy fur-lined hood only to take in the full length view as she approached the bathroom. Once in there she turned on the lantern and began working to dismantling her attire pulling off the differentiating black and white gloves she had on and setting them aside as she went to unhooking the assembly of belt-like appendages that connected into the back of the coat and that trailed behind her for effect. Once she was finished with that she took the coat itself off setting it all in a neat pile to reveal a darker outfit underneath which consisted of her signature pendant, a form fitting strapless black and red cheongsam-style blouse, black and red short-shorts with a matching belt, and two knee-high black and red jackboots with a red garter around her mid-thigh to finish off the current ensemble.[break][break]
Taking a moment to pause and admire the outfit she was wearing while she started the water to wash her makeup off of her face she twirled in front of the mirror musingly finally coming to a stop when the water was warm enough. Placing her hands on the counter she lowered her face toward the sink and moved in close to the mirror to look at herself taking in the slight white sheen of the foundation she was wearing as well as her infamous 'Star-Scar' as most called it pulling her right hand up to trace her fingers along the design. Beginning at right side of her forehead and making a star shape she followed the jagged curve of the makeup over her right eye and down to her jawline before picking up her hand and slashing her finger gently horizontally just under her right eye. It was an unusual marking to be sure but one that she'd picked up as a sort've trademark among others as she'd gone along as well as one she'd come to appreciate every time she saw it. However, despite that, it had begun to run bringing her to make the tough call to wash off the artistry to what end she picked up the complimentary facial scrub that sat next to the sink and went about her business of getting the stage makeup off.[break][break]
Once she was fresh faced and had misted herself down with a mixture of botanically infused water Yukata went about drying off of her face and reapplying her makeup once more. Going to get her carry-on bag she pulled out a loose powder and went about giving her face a soft sheen before lining her eyes and finally finishing off the look with a pink heart just below and off to the side of her left eye. Checking herself once to ensure everything looked good she pulled out a similarly styled black jacket that bore a red crucifix on the arm and a pair of matching fingerless gloves which she'd pulled onto her hands soon afterward. Fiddling with herself for another few minutes Yukata finally smiled to herself in the mirror satisfied with her look as she made her way out of the bathroom, closing everything off, and finally grabbing her keys as her stomach made another polite plea for food whilst she closed and locked the room's door. Patting it with a light chuckle she murmured "Don't worry, I know. I'm heading to get some snacky-snacks now." before making her way down the hall toward the inn's small dining area and bar. It was getting late, though she was sure she had a little bit of time before they closed to what end she wasn't worried finally finding herself at the bar after a short walk downstairs, situating herself in a seat as she ordered a drink to start off. Notes Sorry if the post was kind of everywhere. This is the first time I've played Yukata on Inertia so I'm gonna need some time to get into her I think. So you'll hafta bear with me for a little while. Otherwise enjoy my rambly overly-explanatory post. Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette Aiden wasn't one to be easily overwhelmed, but in this case he definitely felt in over his head. The vision sent curdling chills of butterflies floating throughout his stomach. Taking in the rolling, fresh smell of grassroots on a lively road, Aiden couldn't help reminiscing. Never had he imagined being able to set foot in such a place, surrounded by Magi living in a place so far away from Dagos and Felici. Well, he had figured there to be Magi safe-havens elsewhere in the world, but for so long he had wiped the thought from his mind.
As he went about exploring the evergreen town, Aiden couldn't help but feel several glares that were something less than cordial. Some were far darker than before, dark and suspicious as if accusing of him. By the time he had reached a small market space where quite a few came and went, Aiden couldn't ignore them any further. Walking up to one of the round stalls peddling fruits and vegetables, he was left to his own after a cordial hello. Many customers discretely changed sides so they wouldn't need to be near him or meet his gaze. His fingers rapped slightly along the grey vest he wore while his eyes trailed along the many foods on display. He had little money to buy anything, but the silent rejection for some reason didn't do much to weigh on his mood.
He walked further away from the Farmer's Market and went back the way he had come. On his right, Aiden took note now of some of the establishments around town. It was an interesting fact that so many of the Magi had made their own homes, creating them from the elements they could manipulate. For so long he had wondered about how Magi would live their own lives if the Hunters weren't around and if they could practice their faith without human intervention. He sighed to himself and continued on down what seemed to be one of the main paths of travel. Where he was heading, he noted that there were multiple restaurants and other places that had a few activities going on, judging by the playful sounds coming from farther down. Even if he couldn't buy much, his curiosity wasn't satiated just yet.
Most of the places didn't look extremely appealing. Built by Magi, the only linking feature was the play off of each individual Magi's specific sensibilities. One Water Magi decorated with seaweed and coral-like structures while Earth Magi preferred using soil or rock. He eventually settled on a nice, homely place that was designed well on the outside and actually had a wafting scent coming from the main window: The Sand & Sea Tavern. The inside was a mixed bag of colors, ranging from coral pots and pans hanging over walls that were a neat crimson color that went well against the backdrop. It played well, like a vivacious stained portrait.
All in all, it perfectly captured a relaxed day at the beach. The wooden cabinets and accessories were simplistic and the layout captured a serene beach house quite well. Checking in at the front door, Aiden strode plainly up to the bar and sat down at the far end corner. The bartender eyed him warily, but finished cleaning up his current customer before heading over to Aiden.
Note: We can play this slowly :)

[attr="class","pDMain1791368560"] My flames will serve as your funeral pyre... Post "Hiya! How's it goin'?" Yukata asked the bartender as he came to ask her what she'd be having getting a friendly pleasantry and a smile in return. Giving a bright smile of her own she went on to say Hm… Let me get a soda for now as well as fish and chips, a side of lobster bisque, a plate of stuff clams, a basket of fried butterfly shrimp, and to finish it off some barbequed unagi (freshwater eel) if you guys have it." Giving a cat-like smile after she finished ordering she took note of the bartenders' face whose surprised look told her volumes about what he was thinking. Like most he couldn't believe all of this food was for one girl but as many before him she wouldn't confirm nor would she deny it was despite the answer being quite obvious. While she may have been small her appetite was as large as they came and especially after a long show given how much she'd had to exert herself on stage. To that end and still with an awkward look on his face the man politely moved away from her to go have her order prepared as Yukata put her right arm up on the bar and swiveled her barstool around to look at the bar goers. There were Magi from all walks of life as far as she could see; some were together, some were alone, some were laughing, and some were even entertaining their compatriots with small feats of wonder. It was a sight to behold to be sure given the recent past and one that never ceased to amaze Yukata when she'd seen it.[break][break]
However, there was one person who was slightly out of place – different from the rest who lingered joyously having a merry time in the tavern – and whose appearance clearly pinned him as a Human being. The snowy haired man had just walked in looking around the room to himself as she'd swiveled her barstool's seat around. He looked almost bewildered amidst the patrons of the tavern and the Magi society around him but at the same time she could also see something deeper too. She wasn't sure what it was but the look on his face and the nervous tension on his body told her leagues about what his predicament might've been. Of course it was none of her business either way but at the same time that thing about him was almost nagging at her too. Was it that he wasn't smiling? Perhaps. She did have a keen sense about her when someone seemed unhappy or saddened in any way. Maybe it was that she felt bad for him? Being in such a place clearly would separate him from the rest of society with how things were in the world but that still didn't quite pin it she felt. Maybe it was simply a combination of things with those factors being among them? She didn't really know but that nagging sense had surely reached its apex urging her to go over to him despite to see if at the very least he was alright.[break][break]
To that end Yukata waited until the bartender had taken his order, observing the same bartender scowl at the man where he had once smiled at her, before she'd gotten up and moved toward him. Only being a couple of seats away from her she picked up her drink and casually moved toward him coming to sit at the barstool right next to him. Placing her drink down at the bar she hoped onto the barstool and folded her arms on the ledge of the bar looking out towards the assortment of alcohols lined up in back of it. For a moment she made no attempt to speak giving him room to say something if he needed to before finally saying "So, how's it going? You seem a bit gloomy." still keeping her eyes trained on the alcohols. It was a simple gesture to try and strike up a conversation with him to be sure but sometimes that’s what a person needed. She'd played the shoulder to many a' person in her thirty-two years of living so if he needed to talk or just wanted some company she'd gladly sit there and do it to brighten his day up. If not she'd simply go back to her seat and eat her food as she'd planned to, no harm, no foul. Notes Sorry for such a long delay. Work's been killing me and I finally mustered enough energy to actually reply. I'll try to reply sooner next time. Post by Aiden Garnette on Aug 29, 2016 0:07:32 GMT
Post"Wicked" Aiden Garnette When at last he had a place to collect his thoughts, it was hard to retreat inwardly with everyone and everything around him being completely different. The Magi were happy, laughing joyously or discussing matters of the moment with the people they favored most while he was a nuisance that probably made the few who noticed him uncomfortable. Surreal was the one word he could pick to describe it, having explored the place and contemplating all the stupefying things he had seen.
Had he enjoyed it? It was an experience akin to taking a vacation trip into a foreign place where the world he had accustomed himself to didn't exist. It was much like paradise, he mused inwardly. There was that spark of wonder that he always glimpsed but never held, a figment of something he had no knowledge of and could only absorb in the most refined details before moving on.
He had digressed into himself and was pleasantly surprised when he refocused himself and noted a girl he hadn't noticed before. She had blended into the background when he had first arrived but looking upon her, she was pretty much like a child compared to him when it came to height. Then again, most Magi he had come across as of late couldn't match him physically for some reason. Perhaps it was something genetic? He dwarfed her in stature easily, which made it all the more humorous when he heard the order she relayed to the bartender.
It brought a thinly veiled smirk to his face, pleasantly thinking that her eyes must've been bigger then her stomach. Much to his utter amusement, the seemingly young girl made her way closer to him and sat in an opposite barstool. Like the others, he could sense her wariness to get any closer, but the intrigue of having Magi company was a pleasure he rarely enjoyed at a bar. Or at least within recent memory, so he decided not to make the first move.
For several moments, he held his tongue and she did too for a bit until deciding to make the first greeting. Her eye was kept on the alcohol, not meeting his gaze very closely. Bodily, Aiden too kept aloof and detached, though he wouldn't allow his company to see the thoughts he was hiding from earlier. Observing the woman/girl with a half-gaze, he almost thought she looked cute in a way. If he had taken the time to raise a family, he mused that perhaps he would've liked a daughter who resembled her. Only abnormality that he could note was a peculiar one; both of her eyes retained different colors, a quirk he discreetly raised an eyebrow at.
"So, how's it going? You seem a bit gloomy."
She hit the mark decisively, but that wasn't going to be shown. Not one bit. He offered instead a wry, mischievous smile and tapped the counter with a single finger, "Not gloomy, just wondering what you're going to do with all that food you ordered. Even if I believe that you're able put all that away, the Unagi and Clams are going to shoot right out of you before the night's over. You'll stink up the whole restaurant with that shit."
