If someone was to describe Kelri they would immediately say sweet. Kelri is caring, and empathetic. She is always willing to listen over a cup of tea and a cookie. She is more than willing to help out others, no matter the situation. She is humble in the fact that she is proud of her work, but she doesn’t brag about it. She trusts easily, and will always forgive rather than keep hold of a grudge. She even sells stuffed animals at the cafe to kids who come in with their parents!

Along with Kelri's sweet side is another sour tinge in her personality. Kelri is stubborn, almost to the point of being obstinate. She won't back down once she has formed an opinion and she most certainly won't admit she is wrong. If someone was to ever visit her studio apartment, they would find clothes upon clothes piled everywhere. The only place that she keeps neat and tidy is Sweet Nothings, which compared to her personal style is quite the opposite. Most of the time Kel is indecisive, just how is she supposed to choose between so many options? She doesn’t really think it's that important to make an automatic decision, especially when you can think and maybe change your mind a zillion times.

When it comes to other people Kel gives off a childish air. She wants her way but also is very innocent. She much rather go play than be involved in politics or crime fighting. She believes in the good in people, rather than what society perceives to be true. She has too, otherwise the horrors of what her family has done to those who don’t deserve it would keep her up at night more than they already do.

Kel has many whims and often goes after them without thinking of the consequences. Does she see something pretty? She will buy it. Does she see something cute? She will buy it. Does she think it’s a good idea to follow the broken android down the alley with bandages? Yes, yes she does. Will her parents find out later? Yes, yes they will. When it comes to her parents, Kel is very self-conscious. She feels like she is being watched, and her every action is a judgment by her parents in the making. This immense judgment she feels leads her to try and be perfect at her baking and at her shop, to the point where she has fainted from exhaustion before. Kelri can go days at a time subsiding on little more than what is in the shop. Although she loves food and eating it, she doesn’t always get to enjoy it, nor does she have a proper intake of nutrients. She is guilty of using nutri-patches more than actually eating real vegetables.

Kelri knows that she is the odd one out in the family and she is somewhat of an odd duck. She isn’t competitive, she isn’t focused on eradicating crime, and she certainly isn’t focused on a very prestigious position in life.She is fine with being a simple shop owner because she loves to bake. She loves her cafe and the work that she does there. Kel gets up at five am to make sure that her goods are fresh and ready to go for the day. She is proud of the fact that she has her own business and that she has the ability to do good, though sweets. She tries her hardest when it comes to her shop, and this is one of the only places she is professional. Kelri always offers sweets if people are having problems.

Kel being raised by a police chief father and a professor mother gave her a strong sense of justice. She knows that she has to do the right thing, even if that is wrong in society. She tries to stand up for those who need it, but she does it in a subtle way. If she sees someone with cyborg tendencies being treated badly she will politely offer them a free sample, regardless. She hopes she can cheer them up a little and let them know all humans aren’t horrible. She would do the same with magi, but thinks that she would be putting them in more danger if she were to interact with them.

Kel is a bit torn when it comes to the magi issue given her family but thinks they should be treated better even if she doesn’t voice this to her family. Genocide is never right and all life is precious. As someone whose family puts their life on the line every day, she knows how serious this conflict is, and she just wishes that magic wasn’t the cause of so much death and war in the world. People should be using it, rather than eliminating it.

Kel has often been mistaken for a teenager, even though she is twenty-three. She is the shortest of all of her siblings standing at only five feet and two inches. Her eldest brother-Bastion affectionately (in her view) calls her the runt of the litter. She wishes she were at least six feet, but nope, she got her mother’s genes in the height department. At least she’s two inches taller that her mom. Kel thinks it sucks though that every other sibling is at least five feet eight inches. They all take after her dad, who is six feet two inches. Normally Kel has good posture, but if she is around her parents you will see her start to shrink and make herself as small as possible.

For her height (and considering the amount of food she eats) Kel only weighs about 115 pounds. Her mother thinks she is too skinny, but she knows that soon enough her high metabolism will drop and stop working. Until then she eats whatever she wants to, and doesn’t care. She does put a little effort into her body and does VR training. She also loves to dance, so if she isn’t working she is probably dancing at night. The club scene in Felici isn’t as wild as Dagos, at least that is what Hendrick says, but it provides an excellent opportunity to go dancing.

Kel has bright blue eyes that are framed by thin eyebrows. She also has a pointy (in her view) nose. Her smile is small, but it is genuine. Her forehead is wide, but luckily it is covered by her bangs ninety-eight percent of the time. Her thick brown hair falls all the way down to the middle of her back, but it is mostly kept up in a ponytail. On days off she lets it down.

Kel was mainly allowed to dress however she wanted and that carried into her style now. One word could describe Kel’s style-Cute.She mostly wears modest things, but they always have frills or bows or are bright. She loves pink and most of her wardrobe consists of that. If Kelri is wearing her baking outfit she is sure to have flour on her somewhere, or an assortment of other ingredients.



Is it cute? Is it pink? Is it a bright color? Kelri is probably wearing it. Kelri loves dressing up, and being fancy, but she also loves to dress comfortably. She will wear heels, but they will be low. She is much more interested in something if it is cute rather than sexy. She loves pink, frills, and flowers. Most of her wardrobe consists of these items, though good staples are always in there, such as oversized sweaters and scarves...

On that note, it is important to mention that Kel loves accessories. She is really into jewelry, so in her daily life, it would be odd to see her without at least one gem on. She also really likes scarves and headbands. Mainly because she has to tie her hair up for work, she much rather her outfit look cute if she has to!

If Kelri is going a bit fancier, you can see her in deep greens. She has a tendency to try and be a bit more mature, but it doesn’t quite work out. Even if she tries she has a tendency to look adorable because of how small she is. No one really takes her all that seriously, she doesn’t even really take herself seriously.

The only exception to this is if she is wearing her culinary outfit. Her entire aura becomes different, as she is serious about what she is doing. Her hair goes up in a bun, and everything is properly placed and buttoned. She is serious about her baking and is always trying something new. This outfit is most likely to be covered in flour and other ingredients.

Kelri Anderson was an accident. Trust me, her parents were not trying to get pregnant again. In fact, they thought that the entire issue had been taken care of. As far as they were concerned, they were never going to have another child again. Instead, after a malfunction, they got Kelri. With six older brothers and an elder sister, Kelri had a pretty hectic childhood. At the very least she was never bored. Her brothers certainly liked to rough house, but over the course of her childhood Kel learned to dodge out of the way, or not get caught. She had much rather be in the kitchen with her staff, instead of out playing it rough with her brothers. Her sister was always consumed with her studies, so she wasn’t any fun either.

Kel was the type of child that much rather be eating sweets, rather than learning fighting or studying. She was a sweet sort of child, always charming those around her, but often her parents sort of forgot she existed. Of course, she was to live up to their standards, she was an Anderson after all.

Kel liked school, but it wasn’t anything special. She would have excelled in most parent’s eyes, but hers just pushed her to do more. They wanted her to be the best. Kel was more than willing to let someone else have first place. Unless of course, someone tried to tell her her sweets weren’t good enough. Then she was all fired up, but that wasn’t good enough in her parent’s eyes.

It was in Highschool that Kelri found out something pretty important about herself. She discovered that she liked girls, as well as guys. She knows that her parents wouldn’t exactly improve, but in high school, she didn’t really care. Call it her one act of rebelliousness, but Kelri also discovered she loved to dance in high school. She would repeatedly sneak out at night to go dancing. She never did any risky things, with her dad the chief of police and her brothers all involved with the government in some way, but she always loved the thrill of sneaking out. At night Kelri felt a bit free-er than during the day. At night she could dance.

Relatively in school, she was demure and quiet. She joined the home ec club and even won a few awards, all of which she is immensely proud of. She started working part-time at Sweet Nothings: Pastries and Puffs where she was able to utilize her skills to the utmost of her ability. Unbeknownst to her, her boss filled out a recommendation to an elite baking school,the Culinary Art Institute of Felici, explaining the situation to the board of admissions. She didn’t know it then, but her boss was an Alumni, and the school ended up awarding her a scholarship.

She was supposed to go to the university or the police academy. When Kelri found out that her boss had recommended her into the Culinary Art Institute of Felici she knew that neither of the things her parents wanted was going to happen. If she had to, she would pay for the school herself. She started buckling down and taking extra shifts to earn the money.

When her parents brought up the future Kelri was able to convince them she was studying abroad, learning the political system of Dagos. Of course, she bribed her brother to cover for her. He at least understood what it was like to live under their parents' pressure when it wasn’t something they wanted in the first place. He reluctantly agreed, and that was how she spent her first year at the Culinary Art Institute of Felici.

When she came home for summer break, she found out that her parents had cornered Bastion. She knew that it would happen eventually, but she was sorry she had involved him in this when they started in on him. They insisted that she would quit the silly school, and take up a respectable trade. She refused.

That summer was a hard one. She thought she would never change their minds, and never thought they would understand. Which is why she was incredibly surprised when they told her that she could go. When questioned, they told her they had been informed by the headmaster of the school themselves that she had potential and that the many awards she had won, would go into the school trophy case. The catch was that they would only pay a quarter of the tuition and she had to maintain straight A’s.

Kelri agreed to this because she was already working at the school and the scholarship was substantial enough that she could afford this. So thus Kelri spent the next four years at the CAIF, perfecting her trade. She made a whole bunch of friends, but none really all that close. They could always count on her to listen, but when Kel was having problems, they weren’t particularly inclined to listen. During this time Kel joined the online gaming club, as well as the sewing club. She learned that just as much as she liked baking, she also liked to sew. Many of her clothes are handmade, as well as the stuffed animals she sells in Sweet Nothings today.

Kelri never brought any of her partners home, mainly because of who her family was. She never felt like it would have been safe to bring anyone home, afraid of what would happen. She knows what Annalyse’s husband went through when he announced his intent to marry her. It was not pretty.

Kel graduated after four years and not only did she graduate with honors but also with being named the most promising graduate, an honor that wasn’t easily afforded. She was dedicated and determined to show just how good she was, but more important was the feelings she put into her baking. She was awarded enough cash that she could invest in her own shop as an incentive from the college.

Kelri came home and went to go see her old boss with a proposition. Her boss didn’t have any kids and was getting on. Kel offered to buy a share of the property and business. Her boss would still have all final decisions, but when they passed the property would go to Kel. They struck a deal and Kel was put in charge of daily matters, as well as revitalizing the shop.

Given the resources, Kel has completely revamped the shop. It now appears as cute and welcoming to all who enter, There are many pastries and sweets in the case in front. She restocks that case daily and is always personally invested in the customers that come in. The shop quickly became known as an oasis for the new mothers and those who were down. It is said that Sweet Nothingsis a place of healing and rejuvenation, and the baker always knows what you want before you do.

Now Kel is more oft than not found in the shop. She gets there at about four am to make sure the sweets are up to her standards. She is a workaholic but genuinely loves what she does. She spends almost all of her time at the shop, but if she isn't’ there and has a rare night off you can find her dancing at night. Her entire world revolves around this shop, proving her merit, and her worth as a patisserie.

Over the course of her life, Kelri has come to worship Tatara. She knows this is not the normal, but she sees him as a god of life, more than a god of death. She sees him as a protector of sacred life, and she worries about her family's health and safety constantly. When she invested in Sweet Nothings, she asked permission to make a small shrine to the god in the back room. Her boss agreed, and now she asks for protection for her family every morning. She worries about their souls and hopes that they do not inflict so much pain that they take another’s life. She worries about each of her family's souls when they take another’s life in the name of justice--whether they claim to be god touched or not. Kelri offers a fresh peach strudel each morning as she opens the shop, and lights a vanilla candle to commemorate the offering.

Kelri is currently living day to day, helping everyone she can through the power of sweets. She genuinely believes a sweet can make someone’s day, and does everything in her power to make at least one person’s day that walks through the door of her shop, along with Obsidian, the stray she picked up.

Starter Skills

Detect Soul: The god of death and life has given you the ability to sense and see souls through walls up to 50 feet.

Cleansing: The ability to temporarily absolve a ghost of all negative emotions or intent. The longevity of the effects ranges from minutes to hours depending on the Medium's experience. This has been used as a more pacifist option when dealing with dangerous entities in comparison to using Holy Water.

Medium I: This ability allows a person to see fleeting glimpses into the otherworldly plane. At this stage, these sightings may last up to ten seconds. These people have been known to catch a chance glance of a God passing but more likely these individuals will see ghosts of the dead and Spirits.

Intermediate Skills

Blessed Peach Pit: When you have been chosen to enter into the service of Tatara one way or another you will find a blessed peach pit in your grasp. This pit cannot be thrown out and if you try it will be returned to you through some means or another. The pit serves as a "GPS tracking system" for Tatara or one of his minions to come and pick up the soul to move it into the next life and reincarnation. To do this the person in the employ of the God of Death must touch the pit to the ghost. Seeing as the pit originated in the Ethereal Plane, it is blessed to be able to touch ghosts even if they are immaterial.

Exorcism I: The ability to forcefully eject a ghost from whatever host it was possessing, whether that be an object or an animal. Exorcising people is still beyond your current capabilities. This act does not seal that item or person from future possession.



Firearm 1: Can accomplish fundamental and basic feats with firearm weapons.

Kelri knows the basics of shooting guns that the police would normally use. Pistols, Glocks, those sorts of things. Her father insisted she be at least adept at it in case of emergency.

Throwing 1: Can accomplish fundamental and basic feats with weapon.

Kelri has pretty good aim and can throw things that most people wouldn't consider a weapon. At CAIF kelri was known to throw Baking utensils when she was frustrated with her classmates that were not following directions. Baking sheets can pack a pretty powerful punch when aimed correctly.

Unarmed Combat I (Starter): You know the basics and can hold your own in a street fight. The type of martial art or fighting style is up to you. We trust you to be realistic for what you can accomplish and not accomplish at being a general level one in unarmed combat.

Kel is now good at Dodging. She probably knows a bit of Aikido style martial arts and uses it to pacify her brother's roughhousing, or more likely, uses it to avoid fighting altogether.
