Personality overall
Kaveri was gifted a gentle soul. One full of warmth, love, compassion, and trust. He or she, depending on the gender they choose to identify at the time, sees the world differently then most of her kind. Having been around for one hundred and twenty five years makes you see things differently especially with their own life events to guide them into their current mindset. While he sees the death of his own people and culture he also sees the death of humanity with the lose of compassion among them. There has been so much bloodshed on both sides that all Kaveri feels for both sides of a sense of lose and sorrow for both races. While he understands that times change he hopes that one day his race can get along with the others and vice versa but he isn't so naive to believe that will happen anytime in the near future.
Upon stating that, Kaveri is rather content with himself. He seems to think little of his personal welfare and is rather at peace with the idea of dying---and that of his race's death at the rate they are dropping. He thinks more with his heart then his head sometimes which can lead him into a bit of trouble if a bleeding heart calls for his immediate attention. But he will also play it safe to make sure he can escape if it might look to be a trap.
Kaveri has a motherly/parent like feel to him. It is like everyone is their child and they must do something to help them and will often lecture the younger members of his race for being reckless and the same could be said of humans. Speaking of which, he might be full of compassion but he can be full of rage as well with its slow building effects. Though Kaveri is very passive-aggressive, he will stand up to those who need to be. He will not accept violence to those who are innocent or guilty. He will personally put a stop to fights if it is within his power to stop them. He can be a rather furious ball of water much like the beast that live within it.
Beyond their large heart that reaches out towards people, Kaveri carries his own sadness within and rarely shows it unless alone with another that they deeply trust and feel comfortable about. His own reasons for feeling, at times despair, are for personal reasons that he will not willingly discuss with others. He would much rather keep a loving smile on his face to encourage others then fall into depravity.

[PTab=APPEARANCE]
locked away in permanent slumber
appearance
Some Magi are born with the gift being able to pass for looking much like a human being, while others are not so lucky. Kaveri is one of the many of their race to receive the most distinguished looks among their people. Standing at five foot and three inches, Kaveri often gets lost amongest the taller folk but doesn't seem to mind at all. His weight is equal to their respective height. However, this would be considered the most normal trait that Kaveri displays.
His hair is a brilliant with extremely soft blond locks that slowly fade into a vibrate rainbow effect that comes to rest just above their shoulders. His complexion is that of an average person of European decent. However, trailing from their elbows down is a gradient effect that meres into a vibrant rainbow and ends in from his wrist down to a mixture of black and magenta. The same effect happens from his knees down and on his sides as well. At times, his skin often looks like their is a galaxy painted across his body with all different shades of colors and designs across his flesh. Said flesh is also uncharacteristically soft and smooth like that of a aquatic animal where water beads up and rolls down the flesh as if he was covered in Rain-X, sadly, his hair doesn't seem to have that same effect.
Resting against the base of his neck would be a pair of gills, often pressed down and hard to take notice unless the skin is pinched or moved in such a way to see them flutter. Between the base of his fingers and toes is a light webbing that allows him to swim easier and faster within the waters that he loves to spend time within. Running down the back against his spin is small little rivets that are nothing more then hard bits of flesh that are almost scale like but have no purpose other then just being a part of appearance. The older Magi's eyes are a mixture of a brilliant ocean blue mixed with a hint of lavender. Truly, he looks like a ravers wet dream come true and it doesn't help that he often jokes about glowing at night wither this is true or not has yet to be seen but another has also mentioned that Kaveri does seem to have a light blue florescent glow to him when certain emotions are triggered. Beyond this, the Magi also has his ears pierced once on the right side.
It is also not unheard of for the Magi to cover his flesh with clothing and make up in order to try and blend in a tad better but no amount of make up can hide his traits that shine brilliantly in the daylight as well as the night. The last distinguishing trait that Kaveri has can be found on the back of his neck, a sharp bar code is tattooed there with the numbers below it 1-2-5-5-W. He was the 1,255th water magi to placed in a concentration camp.
Fashion
Kaveri has always and will always be a modest mouse. He does not wear anything that will show his torso or above the knee. Usually, he prefers to wear old fashioned harem pants and comfortable form fitting top. He would almost have the look of a less fancy gypsy if his shirts where shorter. Though he does enough wearing bells at his wrist or even one attached to the end of a small braid within his hair. He likes to feel pretty but not enough to stand out amongest the population. He knows better then to draw attention to himself. On occasions, one can find him in a pair of shorts at home, sweat pants, or even jeans with a normal T-shirt. But normally, one will find him in comfortable baggy clothing. He also does not like to wear shoes if he can help it. He also has upon his finger a ring upon his wedding finger and another on the other middle finger. Bangles will often adorn his wrist and ankles.

biography
In the year 2468, the world was gifted with the new life of a Magi child. Haven, as was its custom, celebrated the birth of the new born child. The whole village came together with food, drink, gifts, and celebrated throughout the night. When the moon was full that cold winter night when the parents announced the name of their newly born daughter, Kaveri Maria Dali. Upon being announced she was shown to the small world of Haven. She was a beautiful child with markings that would forever mark her as part of her race. Those markings where called glorious and a gift from the Goddess but in the future it would be seen as a curse to most individuals that where born like she was, inhuman.
Life in Haven was peaceful and Kaveri grew among the villagers with happiness and glee. The whole community was her family as they took turns watching her while her parents worked. One person taught her to read, another taught her to write, and others taught her about the spirits, the gods, and life in general. But as she grew older so did the times change and eventually Kaveri grew curious of her world beyond the forest. She loved her home, the spirits that guarded her home, and the people with in it. But the stories she heard of humans and something called a cyborg intrigued her and she had to know what they were, who they were. At the young age of forty-five, Kaveri left her home. A good-bye celebration was given and she was gifted with many items including money that she would need to survive, books on subjects, and other items. It was a tearful moment in her life but she left with the hopes of becoming educated about the world and promised to return to visit. The journey itself was long as she traveled upon food and camped in the outdoors.
Her first experience with the city at such a young age upon reaching it was awe. She had never seen so many colors, so many lights and people roaming the streets. Everyone looked so much different then she! Some had parts, others where made from steal, and then the humans roamed without tails or horns. At times, she would see Magi roaming freely and speaking with those near by but never did they pair up with anyone beyond their race. Being considered a "Country Child", she knew nothing of city life and had to learn from her people within the city specifically the Temple of Arithelia, where she made her home taking room and board there. She became one of the many care takers of the temple while she explored this new land.
Like a child in a candy store she wanted to know everything there was about everyone. What did humans do? Where did they sleep? What did they eat? The same could be said about the other races and this thing called technology that she did not understand until a few years later when it finally was dumbed down for her to understand completely. At the time, people seemed to be a little more at ease around her people but still gave her the cold shoulder. Kaveri started to gain friends of each race and even offered them to visit her at the temple. Life seemed great and she sent letters home to her parents as often as she could by bird as they had no telephones or these holograms people spoke of that looked like people but was not. The city life wasn't too bad but there was hate crimes here and there as well as ostracizing her kind from certain areas and restaurants. It was then what she learned racism was but did not understand why it even existed. They where all the same and everyone had a soul as well as a heart. Time passed and the violence grew little by little and eventually it started to snowball. Fights broke out in the daylight, death was randomly happening and there was nothing she could do about it. People where rioting and protesting and all she could do was stay within the temple and help those that entered it looking for safety and hope. She had planned to return to Haven within the year for another visit and to move permanently back the following, but she couldn't find it in her heart to abandon the people that needed her within this city.
Then, one morning everything changed and her dream of returning to Haven was crushed. Senator Isaac Pennington was assassinated and though she did not agree with his views or the bar coding of her kind, she did not wish death upon him. She was mortified of the news and that day the world seemed to explode into chaos. Everyone as in the street and once again she witnessed the violence of all races. She prayed for peace and rest of the souls that passed on, including the humans. But life did not return to normal as she hoped and a year later the camps where built and the rounding of Magi had started. The streets that where lively when she first arrived turned empty with her people. Eventually, children no longer roamed the streets and no one came to the temple -- except for humans and a mixture of cyborgs. The temple residences, including Kaveri, did not put up a fight. They gathered their things and sadly abandoned their temple. It was heart wrenching for the magi who wanted to return home and not leave temple either. She was relocated into the Dagos' Relocation Center at 85 years old.
Upon entering the camp she was forced to be bar coded, a thing she had avoided for so long, across the back of her neck with the numbers under it reading: 1225W. It was painful and she could swear the needle wasn't even clean as her neck hurt far worse then it should of as well as taking longer to heal. Her personal items where taken from her and stored somewhere that she would not find for many years. In place of her comfortable clothing from the temple she was given a simple gown and pants to wear made form cheap material. The long hair she sported so long was hacked off at her shoulders to keep from being caught on things or "contaminated". Still, she carried on with a soft smile and made residence with twenty five other women in one small house on the grounds.
Life here was less then pleasant as she came to find out. Women and men where separated. Children remained with their mother or father depending on gender and those that didn't fit the system disappeared. Military soldiers stood watch at every point, corner, entrance and exit. The fences looked nice from the outside but inside they where nothing but barb wire with shocking effects if touched. Life in the camp was anything but clean or fun. It was filthy with limited baths, water and food. Nothing was ever cleaned and all figures of her Goddess had been removed from the camp. There were so many bodies in one area and it wouldn't take long for illness to spread in such horrid conditions. The body count started to eventually start and she watched her people slowly die from hunger, diseases, and the occasional successful suicide. It was heart breaking beyond belief and her ever positive thoughts started to crack. She started to become harassed by the officers, going into the bathroom alone became a thing of the past and having soldiers there became normal in the most uneasiest of ways as some where men.
But through all of this she noticed one guard. One lone solider that looked away during the showers. That stood fast by the door to her "home", that watched the remaining twelve girls who still lived within her home eat. He never made eye contact with Kaveri nor did he ever spare her a single glance. One day, in the middle of the night she became curious of this fellow and his mannerism on how different it was from the rest. She approached him gingerly with small conversations. It took weeks for him to even acknowledge her but once he did --- he slowly opened up to her and her words.
He was a young solider that was stationed in the women's side to "protect" them from themselves with so many deaths that had happened. That was what he had told her but she doubted that was the real cause but she rolled with it. Time passed and soon he became a regular sense of stability in her life. The guard started to harass her less, the name calling decreased, and ironically, so did the longing stares of many of the soldiers. Kaveri did not look the gift horse in the mouth as each nigh she visited with the man. What happened next shouldn't of ever occurred but love had a strange way of blossoming even among est the darkest hours. There conversations turned from innocent to passionate and finally into something more that was not really allowed on the grounds but no one batted an eye at a solider taking a Magi into his arms behind the wall house or in an empty shed.
There affair went on only during the night when it was possible and in the day things returned to as they should be---but with him always watching her. Taking great care to keep his eyes fully focused on her position and who was around her---and who was touching her. But as life would have it, a funny thing happened and Kaveri discovered the most joyful and frightening thing for a Magi at this time, becoming pregnant. She had been in this hell whole for a good many years to the point she had lost count and here she was now standing in her home with six girls remaining---with child. At first, the morning sickness was what she thought to be the flu.
It was difficult for a Magi to become pregnant and even more so in such a place she was currently living. Yet, here she was standing before a broken mirror with the realization on the first month that She was indeed pregnant with her lovers child. To put it lightly it was a strange feeling and difficult to handle in a camp that had very little food to offer. She was lucky however as her lover often brought her a little extra including a ring to put on her finger in hopes that one day when the camps would disappear that they could marry. Maybe the world would be a different place when they realized her race was not dangerous. Though months life seemed to adjust easier and not many batted at eye at her large stomach but a few did give her hell and harassment.
At the age of 101 years old she have birth in the worst possible situation, she still isn't sure what had really happened up until this very day. Nor is she even sure what even brought about the riot that took place outside her small room that she was brought into to give birth to her child. One appeared to be healthy and the other wasn't reacting properly. Concerned and afraid, her child was removed. Sadly, the doctor never returned and her Fiancee went after them and seconds later all that could be heard was gunshots and screams. The newborns lost it and began screaming, holding the other still in her arms she clang to the child and called out among the fire as she was too weak to leave her bed. An eerie silence sounded throughout the halls but outside was a new type of noise. People were running, screaming, and overall violence. She called out again and eventually her fiancee returned. The human was bleeding and holding a gun from where he received it she did not know. All she knew is that the moment he entered he was shot again as he returned fire. The unknown man died before the door way leaving Kaveri confused and frightened. When asked about the other child she got no answer other then said apology. Scrambling as best she could from her bed she went to her lovers side with child in hand. He was dead and so was the first joy in her life since being imprisoned.
Kaveri went into shock, one of her children had gone missing and her fiancee was dead trying to protect them from a riot that broke out from escaping Magi's and humans battling them. Months past by and Kaveri seemed lost to the world with her small child now with her within the camp. Her child was only a few months old and the population within the camp kept dwindling down. Food was harder to come across, water was restricted as punishment for the outbreak and many had died. Pulling herself together took a month later when it finally came to her that her infant needed her more then ever but the atmosphere, illness, and food shortage was making it almost impossible to keep herself healthy let alone her little one.
At last, with her young being a month and half old and sick, Kaveri broke down. She couldn't stand to lose her last remaining family. While she had the support of her people and the women taking turns watching the child---the food was a problem. If she couldn't eat then her child couldn't either. What could she do for her precious child? Kaveri nawed over it for a few more months while watching her child overcome sickness and survive but she was malnutrition much like her mother.
At a year old, Kaveri finally decided it was time for the baby to go somewhere safe. Somewhere, anywhere, that she could be taken care of and feed. Someone that could watch out for her and allow her to play the fields outside. This camp was not suited for her beloved nor was she certain that she would ever be allowed outside these walls----or if she would ever see them. With great sadness, she waited until the remaining women she shared a home with went to sleep. Holding her one year old close she did the only thing she could even though it felt like she was betraying her silent goddess. She called upon the devil himself, Kupiec.
The God came to her almost instantly by her bedside and with her back to him, she spoke her fears to him. She came clean to the God and asked him to take her child away from this camp and to go somewhere safe. Where she would not be harmed and would be well taken care of in all the right ways. The mother would give up anything for the child and once they came to an agreement, Kaveri surrendered her child to the God. Though, not before she took a lock of hair to keep as a momento and taking her ring that her lover had given her...and slipped it on a thin chord to be placed around the childs neck. Giving the child a kiss goodbye while whispering how much she loved the child---she watched the God leave with her little bundle of joy to hopefully go to a new family.
Many in the camp had believed the one year old had perished in the night or that Kaveri had murdered the child in the act of mercy. Not a single Magi said a word but offered her kind words or a touch of the shoulder. Time continued to pass and riots came and went. Kaveri lived on in the camp with her thoughts always going to her young ones wishing them the best. At the age of 117, the camps ended at last and once again she was allowed to roam free in a world she didn't remember as well as hated her for being who she was. It was dream like and upon her release the first thing she did was return to Temple. Reporters came to interview all the released ones of her kind but she didn't stop to speak. She was tired and lost. She was further lost upon discovering the temples ruined, burnt down, destroyed, or no longer existing. She had lost her second home and it crushed her though she somehow pulled strength from her life experiences and decided to not look back any further and cry.
It was at that time she decided to no longer portray herself as a female and switched her gender into a full bodied male with her abilities. Her past self was weak, sad, broken, and unsuitable for this new world. Her emotions would be the death of her and she had to take on a stronger persona. Establishing her, well now, his new self in this world he decided to dedicated himself into repairing the old temples. He relocated himself to Pauvres Square in Felici as his current home base. Though, often he now returns to Haven freely to visit as well as travel into Dagos to work on the temples in the more questionable parts of town. He takes great care in repairing them and training those who might be willing to become a priest or priestess for their fallen Goddess. He does take great care in not upsetting humans with his appearance or attract a hunters eye in fear of being killed before he can find his missing children and being replaced in another camp if any still exist.
