Blue-violet eye opened and closed slowly as if it was the first time it had been opened in months. Being suddenly exposed to a harsh light caused the magi to flinch with distaste. Closing his eye once again he would reopen it slowly to allow his vision to adjust. A foggy mind took in his surroundings, none of which appeared familiar. White walls lined with floral life, a window to his left that held such abstract designs that only nature could of created it in such a dazzling style. Even the door to his right looked far different than the ones in Dagos. The ceiling even had thing tree branches interweaving themselves through constructed beams. It was clear he wasn’t in the city like he felt he should have been but in Haven. Though how he arrived here was lost to the jellyfish. All he could recall was he had been on his way home back in Dagos.
Hesitantly, the magi sat up and wished he hadn’t a moment later. Fire spread down every limb leaving him with his head pounding. Disregarding the feeling Kaveri peered around the room carefully. Strangely, only one side of the room seemed visible to him while the other was left in darkness. His clouded mind was unable to find reason for it. His mind was far too focused on the unease he felt beating in his chest. Something wasn't right.
Breathing deeply, he looked around the room again. This time in hopes of seeing a someone familiar that could give him his answers. Judging from the look of the room he was alone but hadn’t been at some point. He could see person items on a chair but again, couldn’t place on who it belonged too.
Carefully, he pushed the blanks away from himself and draping his legs over the side of the bed. He had meant to stand but instead crumbled with only the bed being his stability to keep him from dropping to the floor. Strange, why were his legs so weak? They had carried him strongly down the wet roads of Dagos many a times so why should they suddenly fail him now?
Grunting in irritation he forced himself to stand, taking each step carefully. One foot leading the other out of the room he had been confined in for an unknown amount of time. Either the floor he was stationed on was empty or quiet busy because no one paid the rainbow haired jellyfish any attention as he went down the halls in a daze. Having no idea where he was going he just kept moving, knowing he wanted away from the stark nature filled walls. He only made it half way down the hall when the sound of trickling water capture his attention.
Water. Water was a safe haven for him. It always had been. Instinctively the priest followed the sound. Each painful step bringing him closer to his destination. Turning down a hall he spotted in the center of a cross road hallway a cubed area that lead to outside. Trees lined up against the root framed windows and the floor was nothing but grass and a pebbled walk away that lead to a large pond with high walls. Carefully, he settled himself down with a hiss. Moving sucked but as soon as his bare feet touched the cool waters he felt at ease. For once in his life, he didn’t care that his hospital style Capri’s got a tad wet. Normally, wet clothing drove him up the wall but today it felt wonderful. The cool waters tamed his fevered flesh in an instant.
It was at this time he finally took a look at himself from the waters surface. What he saw, he wasn’t prepared for. His usual warm complexion was gone and replaced with a sickly pale, almost pasty. His soft rainbow hair, that someone had braided, made him look more like a phantom then anything else. A few tiny nicks here and there littered his reflection. But that wasn’t what had really caught his attention but the reasons to why he was in a hospital became very clear all too fast. The left side of his face was partially wrapped around his left eye. Surprised, curious and horrified he stared at his reflection dumbstruck. When did that happen? How did it happen?
