oh lord won't you show me am i the sinner or the saint oh lord won't you please tell me was all my suffering in vain It had been a long day for the human hunter. First, Sophia chose to wake up early to visit the local library. She had walked about, taken some books, sat down and read them in silence before finding a new book to read. She had spent a solid three hours in the library just reading. Of course she put each book back where she grabbed them from, remembering where each one went by heart because of how frequently she tended to visit the place. Her next stop was the Hunter's Guild Corp. She had stopped by to speak to a friend from the Academy to relay their past week and what they had been doing. The two often did this, speaking for an hour or so before the two parted ways and thats how it went today. After an hour, Sophia said her goodbyes and left to do her next task. Her next task was shopping. She needed groceries badly and she had just gotten a job done the other day and paid for the job. She knew how long shopping was. She never made a list for food, she would just show up and purchase whatever she thought was good. Usually this lasted for an hour as well. She roamed the store, going up and down each aisle slowly as she looked and matched prices to different products and found the best one. When she'd find the best one she'd throw it in the cart then move on to the next. When she finished that, she paid and left the store. With it already being 2 PM, Sophia then chose to make her way home with her groceries. With her walking places, she just put the bags up along her arm and also with having brought her own personal bag, she packed most of the food into the bag to carry so it was easy for her. After prepping, she headed on home. It felt like a long day but she wanted to go home and see Nico. He was probably worried sick about her and having a spasm. The thought of the white husky caused a smile to appear on the Hunter's face and she quickened her pace to get home quicker. Yet, something was off. Too off. When she arrived at her home, she found it unlocked. Her brows knitted together as she stared longingly at the door that lead into her apartment. Something felt off, the air was stiff and the tension in the hallway was rising to unbelievable heights. Her eyes flickered to check the other doors to make sure no one was peeking out and staring. Sophia swiftly opened her door and quickly closed it behind her. The door was locked within two seconds of entering the apartment and she thought she was safe at home base. She was wrong. Upon entering, it was silent. No Nico. The dog was quiet. Usually the dog was excitedly waiting at the door, tail wagging and eyes widened with happiness but instead she was met with nothing. The Hunter silently made her way into her apartment and down the hall leading to her living room. She was silent and slow entering the room. At first, she wasn't sure what to think. The fact her dog was hidden behind her couch or the man that sat with a wide smile across his face on the recliner. Her eyes had grown hard and stern, staring at the odd figure on her recliner. When it clicked, Sophia dropped the bag of groceries she had in her hand and pointed at the male. "What the hell are you doing here?" She growled at him, obviously not to pleased to see a man she hadn't seen in years. Ripley Maddox. Uncle Ripley. Ripley Maddox● forgive the post.
