Personality overall
While considered by some to be a rather large introvert, that isn't the truth. Well completely. Jonathan, or Clarence as he goes by in Dagos, never saw the need to interact with other people. Even in his childhood he preferred to spend his time alone would lash out when disturbed by others. Though he's always had a soft spot for his siblings. Generally however he doesn't care for other people. While he may listen and pat you on the back through a hard time it doesn't actually mean he is sympathetic or cares for your pain.
An almost selfish outlook and attitude. While not completely making up for this, Clarence views everything from a distance. Detached from the situation he is able to consider the broader picture. This kind of mentality places a boundary between other people and himself however. Further removing him from others and making it harder to make friends, especially when you're always doubting whether or not they are really your friends in the first place.
Clarence, having spent sometime, and advanced well into his education, at the University, has some experience with the supernatural. Well aware of the spirits and the possibilities of the deities existing. With his lack of proof he isn't one hundred percent sure but the evidence does lean in that direction. An irony that he knows more about the gods than his religiously devout brother is never lost on him.
For the entirety of his life Clarence has had an personal interest in education in knowledge in general. While not always chasing after it when he wants to learn something he goes all the way. Completely focusing on his mission and tuning out most of everything else once he finds it. Currently he wants to delve into the supernatural part of the world, and unable to learn any magi magic, as well as being unaware that he is a magi in the first place, his sights are set on the University once more.

[PTab=APPEARANCE]
"DO I LOOK LIKE GOOGLE TO YOU?"
appearance
Clarence is average man, with not very much muscle to him, he is somewhat thin but not so much. Though he is does stand apart in a crowd, which might have to do with him being six feet tall. Technically Five foot nine, but who's counting?
His most noticeable features, besides the obvious height, his light blue eyes, and his permanently slightly ruffle short hair. His skin is somewhere between pale and tan that somehow manages to compliment both of these characteristics.
Whenever he is out you'll usually find him with his overused beige-tan long trench coat over his suit-and-tie clothes. With the long blue neck tie completing the set. Even if not in complete formal wear Jonathan refuses to go without his coat, stubbornly rejecting any notions to remove it unless specifically required.
Though unknown to Jonathan, he is a magi. Taking on avian traits upon unlocking his magi magic. He sprouts a brilliant pair of midnight black wings that stretch just over ten feet. The larger feathers leaning down to his waist. He'll also develop talon like nails that curve inward at their ends on both hands. Additionally small feathers will crest around his shoulders, avoiding his front half, and curve around the spine and shoulder blades of his back. On a more subtle note, his eyes will turn a light shade and dimly glow in the dark.
Fashion
As mentioned before Jonathan usually goes everywhere with his beige trench coat. His white suit and neck tie following in hot pursuit. He likes to dress formal. Though his definition of 'formal' can use a bit of tweaking, he mostly has it right. (Minus the coat). When not in his "formal attire" you'll find him in all sorts of combinations of clothing. Sweat pants and white T-shirt, with the trench coat. White long sleeves and vest, with nice tight fitting dress pants, once again accompanied by his signature trench coat. While he isn't too terribly picky once he's out of the formal mindset Jonathan quite literally wears his coat every where.

biography
Born July 10, 2558. Kimura, Ikigai
Jonathan grew up relatively normal. He went to school in with his sister, eat ice cream, kept secrets. It was a peaceful existence. Though he was a little 'too' normal, and that's what made him different. The vast majority of his neighbors were magi. Every day he would watch them envying their scales and horns, their wings and fins, while he was born, simply, him. Just an ordinary human. Nothing special or extraordinary about him, a self-proclaimed outcast. Jonathan remembered how he wished and continues to wish, that he was a magi.
He didn't have many close friendships while he was young. Whether or not it was from lack of trying or trying too hard, he'll never know. Instead of forming friendships he decided to focus on academics, spending hours in his room alone preparing for tests and studying for future. Starting fights with the person who would interrupt him.
Somewhere during this, Jonathan can't recall, (around his late teens). He started studying the specifics and differences between the magi and human races. That's when he discovered the Runic university, and the learned variant to magic: Runes. Knowing that, as a human, no one could tell he wasn't human, he could disguise himself as a human in order to attend the university. Unfortunately, his parents had put two and two together, with the help of his internet history and sudden interest in the outside world, and figured out that he planned to study at the University. Their argument was not so much a matter of money, between everyone in the family they could produce enough to pay whatever his savings couldn't cover, but rather they weren't very confident about their oldest son going into a dangerous country when he couldn't defend himself. Like normal magi could. Though it was because he wasn't normal that he could live normally, amongst humans. After a few furious fights, and some coaxing from his sister Elaine he parents gave him approval, and financial support with he declined, for when he decided to leave Ikigai. Officially entering Felici under the name 'Clarence Winchester'.
While he was accepted into the university, he had to pick up a part-time job to help pay his living expenses. Clarence rather enjoyed his time at the university studying the olden language, finding it to be one of the few times in his life he struggled in school and he loved a challenge. He fondly recalls once going to a temple in Suraja to translate a recently discovered temple with inscriptions in the olden language. That was during his month abroad in Suraja. Though the cuisine a nothing to boast about and he woke with a crick in this neck every morning, he remembers this trip as a good one. Unfortunately, he couldn't afford the tuition and finished his years at the university with a master's degree in Library Science and bachelors in Linguistics. Not exactly what he expected to end out with but Clarence was content with the result. For a while, he worked as a Librarian at one of the larger public libraries in Felici. Though for the life of him he can't bring himself to remember the name.
Around the time he was thirty he made the decision to move to Dagos. His dream to return to the university was still very real, to study the Olden language but in a different context. He wanted to learn Runic magic.
Currently, he works in the larger libraries in Dagos and also assists in translating texts in the Olden Language. Things went smoothly from there. It was relaxing. the work was easy and he even found himself a few dates. Not that they ended well. His relationship with his family improved a little and Jonathan found himself dropping by for parties and holidays. For four years he went on like that in domestic bliss. He was thirty-four when he visited Ikigai, though this year was different. He came up to home to a rather tense family who was dealing with another case of overprotective parents. Kas wanted to leave Ikigai and experience more of the world had to offer. One, small, step at a time. Unable to help himself, he was able to negotiate with his family to take Kas back with him.
The year after that would definitely prove more eventful than the last couple decade. Jonathan wasn't sure what they taught him on Ikigai but Kas was as innocent as a newborn where history was concerned. After saving him from some teen punks that were ganging up on him he had to give his magi brother the home-school education on the magi genocide and the late fifty years of history. Although Kas was probably safer Jonathan couldn't help but feel guilty when he saw how it ate up his brother. Though Kas wasn't the only one with problems. Recently Jonathan had been daydreaming often, they made no sense as daydreams usually did, but these weren't quite like making something it. More akin to remembering these visions were. The details were lost on him, but he's noticing they're starting to become more frequent as time passed by. Perhaps it was time to invest in a therapist?
First thing's first however, Kai. After the gangster incident Jonathan searched for a place to learn how to shoot a pistol, at least. Soon becoming a member of the 'Gun's Blazing' Guns club. They have a small place near downtown Dagos were he goes to practice every weekend.

The Teacher
The Basics
Name: Avalon Lumiere
Era: Industrial
Sexual Orientation: Demisexual
Regression Purpose: Plot and Ability
Combat: Runes
Skills
Specialty: Runic Knowledge
Strengths: Unorthodox use of runes, Runic Master, strategically flexible.
Weaknesses: Emotional, sarcastic, vengeful.
Items of note: Avalon once held a personally ordered Runic Pen and Focus gloves, however both were lost in the fire that claimed his home and his life.
Personality
Likes: Teasing people, Fun, Writing, Magic, Milkshakes.
Dislikes: Serious people, lack of freedom, Ulric Von Kaiser, Hunters.
Overall: Avalon is a great guy, except for his vengeful ticks around the University. In life he was a playful, jubilant character, not unlike his current reincarnation's brother. Avalon was a great lover of the Runic arts and the University. After his death and betrayal however, that love has turned to bitter hate. You'll find that his original whimsical personality is still quite intact in any other given situation however.
He was rather open and fair to any he met regardless of their racial, mostly because he didn't really see race as relevant as opposed to active kindness. Avalon's fascination with magic also helped tremendously when interacting with magi.
His shameless and innocent personality also made him quite sociable and talkative, if not prodding at times.
Biography:
For as long as he could remember the University had been his castle. That insurmountable goal that brought nothing but joy in his life. He could remember spending a great deal of his time studying to join the University, more clearly could he recall the exhilaration of finally being accepted. It was there he encountered his first and only love. They were both students at the time, and Avalon had a difficult time trying to befriend them. Though as the years passed and they progressed in their studies of the runic arts that they gradually grew closer and began to fall in love. It was after their graduation day that Avalon proposed, and they said yes. Then that was that.
A few years into their marriage Avalon was asked to return to the University, but as a teacher. He accepted and through his help we was able to get his spouse a job in the library. It was a win-win. Both get the pay check and the hours to see each other during the work day. It worked well until one day. Before they left for work a sudden scream overtook Avalon's beloved. When he rushed to their side he was more than a little unsettled to find that his beautiful betrothed had grown a set of devilish horns and blackened eyes, as well as clawed nails.
It would seem that he had inadvertently married a non-maj. His lover was crying and bleeding and begging him not to leave, after a few hours of dressing their wounds and reassuring them that he still loved them, he had to leave and clear up a few things at the University before they could leave.
It should have been so simple, get two resignation forms, and wait for them to be processed, but that troublesome tattoo they gave him when he became a teacher would prove to be his downfall. When asked why the sudden change of vocation he was forced to answer truthfully, and unaware of the nature of the command seal he told the whole story. Suffice to say, the university was irate. A magi with the knowledge of runes? It was unthinkable. So they commanded him to murder his partner when he got home, and not to tell anyone about this command.
Though he tried to fight it he knew that there was no denying their request. However he could bend it at least, or try to. Avalon began setting the house on fire and walked through the bottom floor, giving whatever chance he could to allow an escape, then moving up, he went off in search of his beloved upstairs. However instead of running away his partner choose to stay behind and try to evacuate Avalon. The professor tried to throw them over the side of stairs and into a deep fall but unfortunately got caught by the momentum and tumbled down with his betrothed. His betrothed fell head first onto the table, scattering wood everywhere, while he had fallen on his legs, twisting them beyond a chance for escape.
Even as he died Avalon did what he could to comfort his lover, embracing them as they bleed out and suffocated. Whispering apologies. With his last dying breaths he proclaimed his eternal love to his partner, and with his last thoughts swore eternal revenge on those who brought about their tragedy.
