Of all the things that Lelianna had thought might happen tonight, this hadn't even been a mild consideration. But the Magi couldn't say she regretted it. Not at all.
Lelianna hugged Caroline right back with the same type of tightness. Now that her mind was actually open to thoughts of the romantic caliber, she was starting to notice things. Like how warm the other woman was. How soft she felt- even should Caroline have synthetic skin. How comfortable the redhead felt in the other woman's embrace. It had been there before of course. But never before now had Lelianna's mind thought to give it any more credit than the simple feel of another person. Now it felt like a lot more. So Lelianna rested her head against Caroline's much like the cyborg was doing to her. she'd be content to stay like that for a long while, to be perfectly honest.
She was beginning to fade into that warm embrace when Caroline started talking again. One eye cracked open a little, but she didn't pull back to look. She frankly didn't want to pull away at all right now. This was too nice to end just yet. "I... I love you too." The hermit whispered right back. "And I'm happy too. Happy you're happy. Happy about... w-well, all this. Meeting you and... a-and getting to have someone else around and... having someone... l-love me. I still..." She shook her head a little and buried her face into Caroline's neck. ".... I-I'm still gonna have to get used to that but... I think I can i-if it's with you." The words were a tad muffled but genuine in feeling. "So if you want to stay... I-I'll be happy to have you as long as you'd want to be here. And I'm sure after a while, Skjorn will feel the same." She couldn't help but add that in there with a faint little laugh. It almost felt necessary for her to say something else to keep her heart from swelling for to burst from how it was feeling right now. "And everyone else to. I-I'd be happy to show you if you... I-if you really want to deal with me for that long. There's, uh.... there's a lot."
