Gosh darn it she was a smart cookie.
As Lelianna threw down her wall, she noticed Caroline jump over it in its fall. It was like the maze all over again! Sojourn, however, got the full brunt of the wall's wave. He wasn't exactly nimble enough to jump that high or get out of the way. And with the added force from Caroline's jump, the resulting wave crashed over the bear and the shoreline while sending the poor beast sprawling.
Speaking of Caroline...
Lelianna saw her coming and a sense of realization came over her. Oh yeah, her friend was made of metal. And probably weighed more than Skjorn. In a split second decision Lelianna dunked herself under the water. She'd rather take that then a face full of the aftermath. As her neighbor landed she could feel the water surge around her and nearly throw her to the current. Barely managing to hold on, Lelianna soon surfaced with a gasp. There was a belly flop for the ages. Man that had to sting.
Caroline seemed okay enough though, and Lelianna found herself laughing along as she moved the hair from her eyes. She shot a playful glare Caroline's way but it melted back into a smile in mere moments. Instead of trying to get back at the woman, instead she stepped closer and once again threw her arms around the woman in a warm (well okay lukewarm since they were both thoroughly drenched at this point) embrace. It didn't really register or matter in her head about their current states of dress. She just wanted to give her friend a hug. "Thanks." She said sincerely, pulling back after a bit with a grateful smile still on her face. "I really needed this today. And, well, Skjorn definitely needed a bath." The Magi added on with a glance over at the big bear. He'd crawled his way out and slumped onto the grass. "He definitely looks a lot cleaner now." She commented with a little smirk towards the grizzly. Then she turned her attention back to Caroline. The smirk got a little wider. "As for you..."
Vines, numerous due to Caroline's strength, whipped out from the water to wrap around her waist and shoulder to try pulling the woman under. If she did, hooray! If she didn't, well the hermit had more tricks up her sleeve. Though she recognized she could also get pulled under since she was still in something of an embrace with Caroline. Whether or not she managed to slip away, she'd be laughing by the time they surfaced again as the vines let go. "You could use some more work!" The hermit would tease.
And she'd be pretty fine continuing to play around with Caroline in the water until, like Skjorn, she crawled her way to the shore and collapsed onto the grass in a heap. So much for her spike in energy huh?
