Personality overall
Lelianna is essentially something of a big hippie, but take away the drugs and put in actual communication with nature.
When she is in her element (ha) and working with the forest and earth, she usually has a very respectful and "spiritual" air to her. Lelianna has learned not to underestimate or degrade Mother Nature from an early age. Calling her down-to-earth is an understatement. Having spent a majority of her life working outdoors, Lelianna acts a lot more at ease when she's surrounded by wildlife. She is confident in working the soil and taking care of the plants and animals around her. Frankly she acts a lot calmer when she has to deal with feral animals then other people.
The moment you add in any social interaction it's clear Lelianna has no idea what she is doing. A social elitist she is not. Lelianna knows how to form words and communicate, but it just never seems to come together as succinctly as she intends it to. She can often appear like an excitable, rambling mess to people she first meets. This is usually because she's nervous and, again, has no idea what she's doing. Even so she does know that when a situation turns serious, the whole chatting thing doesn't matter as much. She can pull out her serious face when she has to. And it's never a good thing to take her usual kind nature for granted. Despite her cool head she inherited the genes to a legendary temper, and if you're the unlucky soul who manages to tip her over the edge then may the gods judge you kindly friend.

Lelianna would be the spitting image of her mother with a few bits here and there of her father.
She inherited her mother's fiery red hair that typically falls to the small of her back in soft waves. She takes care to comb it when she can mostly for fear of it getting tangled up with any of her things, the vegetation she works with, or (most notoriously) the entryway to her home. Her hair also has a very odd habit of growing various types of flowers out of the strands themselves. Originally this used to freak Lelianna out (mainly because it attracted all manner of insects) but she has since gotten used to it. Now she keeps those flowers (usually a wide variety) well trimmed so they almost look like a wreath around her head to work with the circlet she usually wears. They can also respond to her emotions at times depending on how strongly she feels them (wilting when depressed or blooming when overjoyed). Out of her fiery locks sprout two antlers. They're of decent size and show off a few sharp tins. Much like Lelianna's hair, they have a habit of catching on things be it branches, blankets, or that infernal entryway of hers. They are as hard as bone and pretty insensitive except for their roots. Lelianna takes care to keep these clean as well (so spiders don't try making webs in them again). While she inherented much of the same facial features as her mother (high cheekbones, the nose, the jawline), she has the same green eyes as her father.
Physique wise Lelianna isn't exactly intimidating but she's nothing to scoff at either. Standing at a decent 5'8", she is thin and winnowy. However her life out in the woods gives her a certain strength that doesn't exactly fit with the delicate form she presents. Under every tract of skin lies lean muscle from working out in the woods all day. It shows through the calluses on her hands and the stains permeating her clothes and arms, not to mention the few scars she has from the animals. Interestingly enough, she does bear some swirling tattoos on her shoulders and arms. She only has modest curves at best but that's never been an issue with her. Who cares about curves when you've got a whole forest to deal with?
When it comes to clothing...She's a girl who lives in the woods. Don't expect her to have anything fancy or even particularly clean. Lelianna's clothes consist of simplistic leathers and clothes that can withstand all her toil in the forest while also keeping her warm, dry, and modest. Almost everything she owns has some sort of earthy scent to it, look to it, and probably earth on it. If it doesn't, it probably will very soon. Still, she does her best to keep what little clothes she has clean and intact. Nothing she has will bring infectious diseases with it, we assure you. You just might want to lend her some clothes if you plan on bringing her to a fancy event.
Probably the only "fancy" things in her wardrobe are the branch-like circlet she wears or the large staff she carries. Both are gifts from her parents, who had both been earth Magi before her. The circlet came from Lelianna's mother and resembles curved branches gently going around her head. It also helps to keep her hair back, which is a definite plus. The staff she carries was her father's. It was hand-grown and made to resemble two vines intertwined with a sort of "hook" at the end. In the middle of that sits a blue stone that Lelianna can't really identify. As far as she knows it looks like a sapphire possibly. She uses this staff as a walking stick mainly, but also as a tool for reaching high branches, nudging things without touching them personally, or defending herself if the need truly arises.
Fashion
Fashion? What's that?
Lelianna's work clothing is also her casual clothing. There is literally no difference. Most of the time she wears pants, a sleeveless shirt, and sometimes a vest. When it's colder out she'll wear a thick coat along with thicker pants and boots. Everything she wears is for practicality and comfort, not looking fabulous.
Formal wear? HA!

Buckle up boys n' girls, because we're in for a backstory.
Lelianna Varna was born to Maralie and Ignatius Varna during a time when it really wasn't the best time to be a Magi. Ethea was demanding that Magi be stuffed into Relocation centers like cattle into a barn. Lelianna's parents flat out refused and used all of their power to escape the country and move overseas. Well known and respected by their neighbors, the Varna family managed to escape the country before they too were herded into one of the camps.
The family escaped to Suraja, where Lelianna was eventually born. Growing up there was hard, but her family made it work. Being two powerful earth Magi, Lelianna's parents were able to sustain their trio far better than most of the poor in the country. Lelianna learned all that she could from her parents during this time. She learned she had a particular affinity for interacting with plants and the earth itself. In a few trips she even got to go to the jungle and experience it's vast wildness. Instead of being scared, it almost felt like home to her. More so than the cobbled stones and caged in walls that served as her "home" in Suraja. Still, something felt...missing. Off, but just enough that she couldn't figure out exactly what.
It wasn't until the uprising with the Relocation centers began that Lelianna would finally know. Her parents had always kept an eye on Ethea despite having fled the place. They felt anger and resentment for the treatment their people were being forced to live through. A sort of hatred that Lelianna couldn't find in herself to share. When news came that one of the Relocation centers revolted, her parents insisted on leaving Suraja and returning to Ethea to help their people. Lelianna didn't see much point in it but mindless violence. She pleaded with her parents not to go, but in the end she was but a child. How could she know any better? With the only other option of being left behind, Lelianna went with her parents in what would be their last trip together
As Lelianna predicted, their return ended in mindless violence and an event that shook her to her very core. Before her very eyes she witnessed her parents shed blood and have their blood shed in return. At the end of the day, at age 26, Lelianna ended up burying both by herself. Heart filled with grief over the numerous tragedies she witnessed and experienced, Lelianna fled to the only place she felt safe in. The Arecia Woods became Lelianna's permanent home. In the following years Lelianna dealt with her grief and found healing through observing and maintaining nature. With time she came to accept her parent's deaths and understand that all things must come to an end. The feral wilds of the woods gave her a first-hand experience to the cycle of life and she came to understand it. Even appreciate it. As much as she missed her parents, she knew that there was nothing she could have done to change what had happened. Her parents were who her parents were; fighters until the end. While admirable, Lelianna couldn't find that same spark within herself.
Instead of fight, Lelianna dedicated herself to healing. Whether that be of the very forest which she surrounded herself in, or the few people she ran into. Man, woman, human, cyborg, or even hunter; it made no difference. She didn't want to hurt anyone or anything if she could help it. She stayed as a veritable recluse up in the Arecia woods, close enough to both Haven and Loch Perriluex that it was relatively easy for her to reach either if she wanted. Not many honestly know of her existence, but she's always willing to extend a helping hand to those who find her. Even if she doesn't really know how to mingle well.

Earth I: You are able to geokinetically animate 500 lbs (reference) of earth one time. And when I say earth, I mean anything the earth has birthed naturally. Rocks, sand, dirt, etc. The material must be of 100% natural to be animated. For instance, metals cannot be at this stage.
Green Thumb I: At this stage you're more of a plant whisperer than anything else. You can inquire of plants to grow at double the rate, wish them to birth more fruit, ask them to lift a root up to trip a chasing hunter. But that is the extent at this level. You're asking a living thing for assistance, of the which they can refuse. Might I suggest politeness?
Photosynthesis: By allowing the sun's rays to dance upon your skin, or a UV light of some kind, physical food is optional. Your body will produce its own sustenance through photosynthesis.
Purchased abilities
Magi Trait Enhancement: (Earth Aspect) A new and strange development has begun manifesting in Lelianna's body. From her dedication and time spent working and interacting with nature, her nature related aspect of her earth magi heritage has started to take a stronger foothold in her body. Crystal-like spires have begun to grow from her head, creating something akin to a crown. The structures are all different kinds of gemstones that, much like the flowers in her hair, will change in type and color depending upon her mood. The crystals can be removed and regrow (they are constantly growing but at a slower rate than her antlers), but completely removing them can be a painful process for Lelianna.
Magi Trait Enhancement: (Earth Aspect) Another strange development has suddenly manifested in Lelianna’s body. While dedicating herself to the perseverance of nature, her earth magi heritage has taken gotten an even stronger foothold within her. She has literally become part plant. Though there isn’t a super obvious, immediate visual change, her skin has gained a greenish tint as her flesh has become a mix of normal mortal skin and vegetation. Because of this, her skin can have a very strange texture to it where it is smooth like flesh but rubbery like plant fiber. In addition, her own skin can now occasionally sprout blooms or vines much like her hair. She can't control these with her powers though. This new development allows her to more easily rejuvenate from the sun's rays and thus heal at a faster rate from it (though she won’t be instantly healing anything or shrugging off major wounds like they were no concern; it still takes a good while) while also gaining a bit more endurance from sunlight.
Higher Resistance to Downers: Takes double the amount to bring down.
Transmute: Through focus you can convert one type of ore into another. Rocks can shift into precious stones or even lesser metals to better protect someone for instance.
Green Thumb II: (Requires Green Thumb and Earth 1) Now able to synchronize yourself with plants instantly by touch you are not needing to ask verbal permission anymore. Your wished for actions are theirs now willingly. Actions performed by these trees (etc)can be more elaborate and powerful. They can even grow further through out the duration of the synchronization
Green Thumb III: (Requires Green Thumb II) Constant touch is no longer required. Merely through a telekinetic connection an Earth Magi can control multiple plants at once.
Ability Mastery: Green Thumb Over her years living within Arecia Lelianna has formed an extremely strong bond with plantlife. Now greenery (Particularly within Arecia itself) responds to her will with practically no hesitation at all. She is a master manipulator of vegetation, allowing her to grow and shape any plant without the need to touch it with incredible precision and speed. Whatever she grows is also abnormally healthy and incredibly resilient in comparison to normally grown plants. Where a normal plant might die out within days of lacking proper water and nutrients, hers can last for weeks. Coupled with all of this, Lelianna has gained the ability to hear the faint voices of the surrounding greenery, especially if she focuses on it.
Immune: Poisons or drugs that are plant based will have no affect on the Earth Magi.
Seedlings: A common practice for those that practice fighting styles, a person will commonly carry around seeds with them of whatever plant they prefer. Within seconds seeds can burst forth in the magi's hand. A vine could be twenty feet in a matter of seconds for instance. This is Green Magic at its most impressive.
Venomous Seedlings: (Upgrade of Seedlings, “Immune” required) The seedlings you carry around can now grow into weapons that are laced with non-fatal toxins. Skin contact causes rashes and blisters. Wounds now feel much more painful (a cut feels like a gunshot) and are harder to heal. Other side-effects of being wounded with these weapons include sweating, fever, nausea, and other various ill effect, that can persist anywhere from a day to several, depending on how much was applied and how well the person takes care of themselves.
Earth II: (Upgrade of Earth I) You are able to manipulate 6,000 lbs of earth at one time. You are now able to compress the earth you manipulate into a sturdier form, making it much more solid and harder like a naturally formed chunk of stone.
Earth III: You are able to manipulate 20,000 lbs of earth at one time. Metal can be weakly manipulated, perhaps to slow an oncoming cyborg.
Quicksand I: As the name insinuates you can now shift any natural flooring into a dangerous area of quicksand. Six feet width in diameter is allowed.
Quicksand II: (Upgrade of Quicksand I) You now have complete control of this ability. If a victim gets stuck in this trap you are able to sink them down at a horrifying speed and solidify the ground again, in a matter of seconds. Twenty feet diameter at most.
Rejuvenation: (Requires Photosynthesis) You absorb sunlight more efficiently, which gives you a small amount of extra energy; you have better stamina in the sunlight, and recover faster when resting in it. This means you can hold an earthquake for a critical few seconds longer, run that extra hundred yards, or make one last Bound before you’re exhausted- it does NOT allow you to maintain energy endlessly in the sun.
Rejuvenation II: Wounds begin to heal as they remain under the sun. Small cuts heal within an hour, while deeper ones take a couple of hours if you don't bleed out first. At this level, a two-hour nap in the sun gives you as much energy as a full night of sleep.

Crest of the Minotaur - When Magi were first created, it is said that Arithelia granted her firsts-borns with crest to mark themselves above the rest. The Earth Magi was given a bronze belt buckle with a Minotaur's head on the front with rubies for eyes. Since then, the buckle increases the durability of all Earth Magi abilities. This artifact now negates the cancellation effect of hunter weapons.
