Sweet talkin' lady, love how you entice. Sugar, with just the right amount of spice
◀ | [attr="class","PrettyInPink"] Kelri kept her eyes low as she listened to Nevyne speak about the creature atop her head. A god who didn’t want to be worshiped. That was odd, and Kelri did wonder why, but she wasn’t going to go against his wishes. “I shall not speak his name in the mortal realm.” She gave a slight nod before watching the creature. She wouldn’t want to piss off this goddess or Opgraven even more than she already had. That would be bad. It was a small smile that Kelri held looking up at the goddess. She had been given so much information that she wasn’t even aware that was available. Talking with a goddess had slight perks maybe? Kelri wasn’t too sure at this point. Mainly she wanted to get through this alive. Yes the knowledge was useful, but it came at a price. She still couldn’t believe that Nevyne was being so generous. All of the teachings of Tatara had taught her that it was always better to fear the banshee than try to understand her. Kelri knew that she would have to really think about her actions and her thought process in the future. Either way, she was overwhelmed with emotions that were keeping her in her spot, below the Nightmare Queen, and Crafter of Dreams. The young baker had fully expected to be smited, or worse. She didn’t understand why Nevyne was being so... nice. The word didn’t fit Kelri’s perception of the goddess, and it came as quite a bit of a shock to her. At the goddesses Response all that Kelri could do was nod and smile in thankfulness. She wasn’t about to say anything that would mess this up for her brother. “Thank you. I will.” Kelri would give the small affirmation if there was a question that the Goddess had directed to her. Kelri kept quiet as the scenery changed. She watched the Dream Crafter at work and could only be amazed. What was once a rolling desert had turned into a peaceful oasis that she would never have had the chance to see in real life. She loved watching other artists work and smiled as the dream turned into something beautiful. Kelri’s gaze returned to the Goddess as she began to speak again. “I will make sure to keep an open mind.” After all, what else could you do when the Dream Crafter had visited you herself. Kelri knew that she had a lot to learn, and the followers of Nevyne would be willing to teach her. First though she had to find them, and make sure that they wouldn’t be ...annoyed that she was also a follower of Tatara. Kelri didn’t want to offend anyone else. As the girl looked down at her hands, she slowly tugged on the oven mitts. Feeling them give she turned to the goddess and smiled, with a sense of warmth. “Thank you Dream Crafter.” She would give a formal Ethean bow before the goddess disappeared. “Thank you again...” would be the whispers that would follow the goddesses departure. It was a little worrying that the goddess was apparently going to be ‘in touch’ with Kelri but who was she to control a goddess. No--it was only her right to listen, to learn, and to grow based on the knowledge she had been given. Once Nevyne was completely gone, Kelri looked at the spot where her brother’s body had been, and shook her head slightly before bolting to the oasis. The tiny little area of water was just enough where she could slide to her knees and stick her head under the water quickly. Kelri was tired of this absurd dream. Waking with a gasp and a start she looked around. It seemed she was in the little area above her shop. Good. her shop was safe. Her body had broken out in a cold sweat and she knew that she would have work to do today. She glanced over at the clock before rising. It was time to bake some brownies wasn’t it? |
