Kaveri peered down into the contents of a small pot that rested upon an equally smaller stove. He lightly stirred its contents with a small sigh while adding in a few bits of a mixture of vegetables. Slowly, he turned his head towards the tiny bedroom that was not separated from the kitchen. He was currently renting a small one room apartment for the next few days as he traveled to the temples in Dagos to repair. It was time for him to rotate his time to this area for a few days. He had planned to go in, do some work, repaint the walls and then leave back to Felici and return to his temple to maintain.
[break][break] Sadly, this was not going to work out like he had originally planned. During his travel today to the temple he had located a body in an alleyway. Being the kind soul that he is, he went to investigate and found a young male human who was still very much alive. However, the young man was injured and there was no way in hell he would leave the boy alone. So, in short he brought the young man to his rental home and boy was that tough to do. This guy was much taller then him as well as heavier and weighted down with items Kaveri had no idea how to use but had seen in the past. It hasn’t occurred to him what he had dragged home until he disarmed the man.
[break][break] Violet-blue toned eyes went from the form on the bed to the kitchen table. There, upon the table, rested the mans Hunter weapon. Kaveri had seen them many times but never up close and personal until today. It was frightening to touch the item let alone hold it! But he had to remove the weapons and place them away from the young human. It would be no good if he died trying to help the man. Pressing his lips together, he put the spoon down and picked up said weapons and placed them up against the wall on the opposite side. Maybe, it would be best to keep them a bit further away from the man.
[break][break]
Feeling a little bit better, he looked back at the other who still slept. He wondered the on the reaction he might get from the other once he wakes. Kaveri had to remove the man’s coverings and shirt in order to treat his wounds but he folded them and place them on a night stand. But, seeing as the shirt was ruined Kaveri had went out to find a replacement and luckily for him he found one for cheap. It wasn’t quite the same but it would fit the man! He knew it would because he checked for the man’s size like a good host.
[break][break]
Sighing again, he turned back to the stew and stirred it with even strokes of a person who was used to cooking. Upon hearing a noise, the young mage turned his head towards the man and smiled softly. It looked like he might finally be waking up. Feeling relieved, Kaveri wiped his hands on a small cloth and adjusted his pants and then adjusted his long and rather baggy shirt. While Kaveri enjoyed wearing older and more tradition clothing he did own common day ware as well. He just didn’t enjoy wearing it as a much but he had to do laundry and if blood was allowed to stay on those clothing articles it would of stained them. [break][break]
”Good evening.” Kaveri greeted softly but cheerfully. ”How are you feeling?” He moved up towards the man but kept his distance. Kaveri might have a great heart, overly thoughtful and kind but he wasn’t stupid. He knew better then to approach a Hunter who was resting in his bed. For half a second, he wondered if it would have been better if he appeared as a female before him. Oh well, too late now he supposed. [break][break]

HEADS, I LIVE. TAILS, YOU DIE.
Every Hunter had bad hunts every now and again, but this one had gone dangerously wrong, far too fast. The Magi had surprised him in the first place, approaching from downwind so that he couldn't smell the trap until it was too late. It would have helped if Orion had been actively tracking the Magi in the first place, but a hunt had been the last thing on his mind as he visited the crematorium where his mother's ashes were kept, and he'd almost died as a result. From the way it had thrown the series of metal shards at him, he had correctly guessed that it had been a Zero Magi, which meant that it had been tracking his mind long before Orion had ever been aware that it was nearby. Not that figuring out the type of Magi had allowed him to escape unscathed.
His father had worked in factories mere blocks from the crematorium for the past 32 years, since long before he had even met Orion's mother, and so Orion knew that these sharp metal shavings had come from there, probably discarded as scrap to be melted down later. How the Magi had gotten their hands on it, he didn't know, but he knew from experience that it could splinter just as easily as wood, and was far more damaging. His sword had deflected most of the projectiles, but he hadn't anticipated the shards that had approached from the other direction, and they had punctured his armor just enough to stab through his lower torso, even if only the first couple of inches.
His gun had allowed him to take down the Magi once he'd located it, but it didn't keep him from stumbling into an alley and collapsing from the blood loss. How pathetic did he have to be to die a handful of blocks from home, with only a single dead Zero Magi to account for it? When he'd blacked out, he'd half-expected to never wake up, and for Tatara to be the next sight he saw, but he awoke to a far different sight.
The inside of the apartment was small, even smaller than the two bedroom apartment where he'd grown up, and his eyes had only started to clear before he'd caught the scent. Magi. It was everywhere.
He tried to sit up, but his back stunned him to stillness with the shock of pain that reminded him of his injuries. Laying his head back, he held in the groan that he so badly wanted to utter. He was at the mercy of his enemies, and the thought infuriated him, but he didn't have the strength to do anything about it. Looking down at himself, he could see the bandages that wrapped his torso, which was otherwise bare to the air. He would have new scars from this, if he survived it. His weapons... where was his gun and his sword? He turned his head, and lowered his chin defensively as he saw the Magi sitting there. It had removed Orion's gun and his sword from reach, which was all that was sparing it his temper for the time being.
As it spoke, he only glared at it. This Magi had treated his wounds? Why? Why would a Magi do something like that for a Hunter?
"Why?" he asked, and he was annoyed to hear the breathy weakness of his voice.
JUST STOP BREATHING, DAMN IT. PHARAOH LEAP.

"Why?' He had to admit the Hunter asked him a rather good question. Why would he bother to drag a large man into his home and then help him? Especially, when said man could and would kill more of his kind including himself. Kaveri seemed to ponder on this for a small moment and shrugged his shoulders helplessly. "Why not?" He countered with a rather simple answer. "Or, are you referring to why the place smells so good? In that case, I'm making us some food. I do hope you like stew." Kaveri stated as he stood a few feet away from the Hunter. [break][break] He followed the others gaze towards the stored weapons. His gaze lingered on it for a moment. "You're welcome to them when you feel better. Though, for now I would advice you not to much too much." He smiled lightly and turned to go back to his pot on the stove. "Otherwise, you might reopen your wounds and as much as I love to play doctor I don't want to have to redo all the work I've done." His tone was not condescending or hateful in any way. It was more like a mother shaking a finger at a young child who she knew would not be listening to her words. [break][break] Kaveri returned to stirring his pot and eventually he turned off the fire once the stew looked finished. Tapping the wooden spoon on the pot, he sat it down in a small bowl to avoid making a mess. He then went to the cabinets and pulled out two bowls, spoons, and finally two cups. Setting them down on the table he then went to pour a little stew in each dish. During the process, he glanced up at the human who he was positive was watching every move he made. "While I understand your concern, please keep in mind you have nothing to fear around me. I am the least of your worries and the same could say about my cooking." He paused then to look down at the dish and made a little face of concern. "Then again, my cooking still could use some improvement. It's been a while since I've even made a stew..." Now the poor thing really did look a bit concerned and nervous at that thought. [break][break] Well, it certainly smelled good so it couldn't be all that bad now could it? Kaveri did enjoy cooking and while he cooked mostly for himself it was different serving food to another that might not enjoy his type of seasoning. That made him wonder if he even made the right type of dish to serve. Shaking his head, he finished filling the bowls and placed the small pot back onto the stove. He promptly shoved spoons into the bowl and filled the glass with water. Turning back to Orion he moved over towards the bedside and this time he actually got closer. [break][break] "You look like the stubborn kind so I will ask before I touch you. Do you want me to help you set up or do you want to flop around like a fish before I try to aid you?" Once again, his words where not unkind but merely speaking like a mother that was used to this kind of reaction.

Orion shook his head slowly, taking small breaths to keep the smell from going too far into his sinuses. The stew might have smelled okay on its own, but the water Magi's scent was vaguely fish-like, which did not go well with it at all. The increased sense of smell that he had been gifted by the goddess was usually helpful, but it also enhanced every foul scent as well, and that meant that cheap apartments like this one always smelled particularly horrible to him. Not to mention the fact that the scent of Magi wasn't a particularly good one to begin with.
"Your apartment smells like shit, Magi," he growled, trying to shift himself into a more comfortable position. "Or more specifically, you smell like shit, and the apartment doesn't smell much better."
He wasn't one to take pains to be polite anyway, and when he was both irritated and in pain, and in the presence of an enemy that had the advantage over him, he was in a mood that was downright foul. His face contorted as he lifted himself on his elbows, his teeth gritting together as pain shot through his back. The muscles shivered as he tried to complete the movement and sit up, and he grunted and lay back down, giving up. He was only going to damage himself further if he kept at it, and he could smell the fresh blood well enough to know he was reaching that point.
He lay there panting for a few seconds, his mind racing. How was he supposed to get out of this place? His weapons were out of his reach, and he didn't have a chance of retrieving them before the Magi retaliated. How did he manage to get himself into this situation? It was more than just an annoyance. It could very well prove to be lethal, if he didn't figure something out. His waist felt light without the belt there that usually held his skinning knife and his rune supplies.
"I've heard that line before," Orion said, closing his eyes as he tried to get a handle on the pain. "Usually, right before one of your kind tried to stab me. Or set me on fire. Use your imagination, really. Point is, I'm not eating your damn cooking."
More to the point, he'd grown up among a number of Magi in hiding, some of whom he'd even fooled himself into thinking were his friends. A few such Magi from his neighborhood were the same ones responsible for his mother's death. He would never be taken in by that line again. He wasn't that naive anymore.

Of course, it would be no easy feat to take care of a human that was injured even if it was one of Kalidas' Hunters. He couldn't understand why this man was so stubborn and not ask for any help when it was within reach. Kaveri was perhaps one of the least deadly magi there possibly could be in this world. He was no fighter nor did he take pleasure in such violence. The old magi crossed his arms over his chest while looking a mixture of offended and apologetic as well. "My apologies, it's a rental home. It always smells like mold to me and it probably has it as well." He sighed softly and tilted his head to one side. "But I must say, I did take a shower after tending to your wounds so I know I do not smell." Kaveri turned away from the human and went to fetch a small one to put by the bed side. While he could not force the man to eat he could at least leave the dish as an offering. Sliding the small table over he promptly placed the food down upon it and the glass of water. [break][break]
"Very well, be that way but you will not heal properly without eating something. But I also know I can't force it down your throat either so I leave the choice to you. But I do ask one favor, please don't overturn the dish I really don't want to have to pay more then I am for this room." The blond sat on the foot of the bed with his own bowl in hand. He didn't seem at all phased by the look he was getting or the fact the human was close to him. "You know," He started after taking a bite. "If I wished to harm you don't you think I would of done it all ready? It would of been far more easier to gut you across the belly then it would be to spend my money on supplies to mend you. Not to mention going to buy you a new shirt that wasn't blood stained." He used his spoon to indicate the clothing that rested near by to help make his point clear. "But, of course, you have heard that line before as well, haven't you?" Kaveri shook his head lightly with a touch of sadness to it. He supposed he couldn't be too upset with Orion, after all he was raised to believe that all Magi were evil. Heck, the poor lad probably seen the horrible side of his race as well. The mere thought alone caused his heart to ache for the human. [break][break] The old magi grew silent as he worked slowly on his meal. Blue-violet eyes directed themselves towards the weapons that rested across the room. He wondered if any of those weapons had been made from his own kind and what poor soul had lost their lives for it. It was almost a morbid curiosity that made the jellyfish want to go over and touch the blade or even draw it out. His logic won out over his curiosity as he figured this would upset the human if he did such a thing. After a long moment of silence the magi spoke again. "Kaveri." He turned his gaze upon the weakened human then, "It's my name, what would yours be?" He smiled playfully then with a small chuckle. "If you don't give me one I will just make up one for you, I'll be sure to make it cute too." He then winked harmlessly at the other and pulled himself from the bed to deposit his empty bowl in the sink to be cleaned. [break][break] Regardless of the others answer he continued on to say, "Once you're able to get up on your feet you can have your weapons back and go home. Though, I hate to admit it but I think you might be stuck with me for a bit longer and possibly the night." With his back to the human, he reached up and scratched the back of his tattooed neck that marked him as having once been in a concentration camp. "I don't mind but I am sure you feel rather different about that. A shame really, I like humans." [break] [break]

Damn it, why is he so friendly.
"Doesn't matter," he said, shaking his head. "Shower or no shower, water Magi always smell like... fish. Or stagnant water. Everyone has a scent. Water Magi just have a particularly foul one."
He turned to look, lowering his chin instinctively as the Water Magi approached. The food in the bowl didn't smell too bad, if he was honest with himself, but he would have been a foolish optimist to assume that the Magi wouldn't hurt him just because he hadn't stabbed him just yet. His eyes were cold as he kept a close eye, his gaze flashing toward each body part as it moved toward him. His eyes only closed again once the Magi moved away. The spreading scent of the food was certainly improving the ambiance, but even if he'd trusted the stew, he knew better than to try to eat something when he had a wound in his lower abdomen.
His eyes opened again as the Magi spoke, telling him that he had bought the shirt at the end of the bed for Orion. What was this guy's deal? He didn't seem to register the fact that Orion had devoted his life to killing creatures like him. His body language was not that of a fighter. He didn't have the controlled movements, or the even balance that was common to anyone trained in combat. It wasn't every day that Orion ran across a Magi like that, one that wouldn't have been able to fight back if Orion tried to hurt it. There weren't all that many like that who drew attention to themselves.
"Kaveri, huh?" Orion repeated, contemplating the name. "My name is Orion Lorne."
Kaveri wasn't a name he recognized, which meant that it wasn't a Magi on any of the bounty lists. That made him feel a little better, but then there was always the chance that it had given him a false name. He doubted it, but he had to keep the idea in mind. Caution kept him alive, considering that no human had the innate power to stand up to either Cyborgs or Magi. It was caution, tactics, and gifts from Kalidas that set the Hunters apart from the rest, and made them the formidable fighters that they could be.
At the idea that he would have to spend the night, Orion rested his hand on the bandage, wincing a little as the pressure twinged. The Magi was probably right, as much as it pissed him off.

Kaveri looked slightly offended by the human’s words about the smell. He really didn’t think he smelled foul, he did bathe but apparently that didn’t help? Curiously, Kaveri sniffed his arm and made a confused face. He smelled like flower soap in his opinion so where did the --- oh wait, was this guy being racist maybe? Kaveri sighed softly and shook his head. ”Sorry, guess there is no helping that then, is there?” Lowering his hands into the sink he ran a bit of water and soap. A moment later, he washed his own dish and then deposited to the side on a towel to allow it to dry. [break][break] ”Orion Lorne?” He repeated the name curiously and seemed to think on it before smiling. ”That’s a nice name. I rather like it, has a nice ring to it.” he chuckled softly. Turning, he leaned against the sink and faced the human once more. The poor thing looked highly unhappy with his current position and the mere idea of staying with a Magi must not of settled well with him. This caused the Magi a bit of pain but he merely let it go. He merely stood there to observe the other carefully and tried to judge what his thoughts might have been right now. ”I don’t suppose anything I say will convince you that I mean no harm to you, huh?” That was a sad thing to admit but this was the real world and Kaveri had learned that the hard way in his long life. [break][break] He had seen the good and bad of human nature and how little they trusted their own kind let alone the Magi’s. ”Well, after this night you are free to leave if you are able to stand…but I doubt you will be able too.” Once again, Kaveri pushed himself from the sink and came to set on the edge of the bed. Making himself comfortable, he decided to make a little chatter for a little bit. Maybe Orion would eat if he forgot Kaveri made it? ”How can I make you more comfortable around me other then allowing you to run me through with those.” He jerked a thumb towards the weapons. ”Cause I got a lot of things to do before I die.” He smiled softly and followed his question with another. ”Feeling any better? You probably should at least try to eat, Orion.”

Sorry this took so long.
Orion tensed as the water magi approached, his fingers clenching into a fist, missing his weapons more than ever. Kaveri... it was odd to think of the Magi by its name... wasn't wrong when he supposed that there was nothing that he could do to gain Orion's trust. Even though he hadn't hurt Orion, Kaveri was still in the position of strength when Orion could do nothing to defend himself. Even his skinning knife was out of his reach, and he didn't have the ability to get to it in a hurry, if the water magi decided it was through playing nurse. The thought kept him tense, kept him from being able to relax in this place that smelled of magic and enemies. At the magi's suggestion, he lifted an eyebrow and stared at him for a long moment.
"I have a number of wounds around my intestines, Magi," he said, his low voice tired. "Eating would do me more harm than good at this juncture. Now. If you really want me to relax, maybe don't sit so close."
If he was honest with himself, he was exhausted and he needed to sleep. But how was he supposed to fall asleep in this place, where his instincts were screaming that he was about to die at any second? It was all that he could do to keep still, to not at least try for his weapons. But all it would accomplish would be to make his wounds worse, and to leave him on the floor. The thought pissed him off, and he grit his teeth to keep from saying anything stupid. Perhaps it was best to pretend to be friendly with this Magi. Clearly, hostility was getting him nowhere. If he was in the Magi's good graces long enough, he would get back his strength enough to get to the table.
But the thought only pissed him off more. He never played nicey-nice with anyone. It was below his dignity to start now. The most his pride would allow was a lack of outright hostility. Maybe Kalidas would forgive him for not attacking this Magi if it meant his own survival. Whatever this meant for his career in the Hunters Guild, he knew that Kalidas would want him to offer a serious number of sacrifices to make up for this moment of weakness, but did that mean that this Magi was marked for death? Humiliating as it was for the Magi to see him like this, Orion's sense of honor blanched at the idea that a Magi would be sentenced to death for saving his life. Even if it was a dangerous Magi, it didn't seem right.

Kaveri's face fell slightly at the humans words. He, he really hadn't thought about the injuries might get worse from eatting or then some. Then again, Kaveri was no doctor and only had limited amount of medical knowledge due to his time in camps. So, he had a general idea of how things worked but not really any hard knowledge.
[break][break]
Kaveri pressed his lips together while resting his hands in his lap. "Sorry, I didn't know about that. I'm not well educate in medical matters. I just sorta know what I picked up in my youth..." He admitted, feeling rather embrassed with himself right then. Now, he just felt like a little bit of a dick and uncomfortable. He cleared his throat lightly and tired to figure out the best way to handle this matter.
[break][break]
It seemed Orion was ten steps ahead of him and he once again looked a bit upset at the human. He glanced at him, turned lightly red out of embrassement and shame. He stood and moved away from the human. "Sorry, I just thought that maybe being near would make you feel...better? Or well, I guess more used to a Magi?" He then snapped his mouth shut as he tired to busy himself with cleaning up the rest of the small kitchen. He allowed silence to enter between the two as he just felt awkward now. He thought that maybe being near the other would maybe show he wasn't harmful? Of course, that didn't work out too well.
[break][break]
Kaveri sighed and turned towards Orion and returning to his usual deamenor. "I know you probably don't care but we aren't all bad. Just like how all human's aren't bad either." Kaveri held up his hand to add to his sentence and then dropped it when no other thought followed. "Anyways, I still aim to help you tonight and by morning, your free to make your own choices." Not sure where to go with this at this point.
Orion simply stared at the Magi for a long moment, his mind torn between replying with some smart ass remark, and keeping quiet like he'd just decided to do. Ordinarily, he wouldn't have thought twice about snapping back about how the quiet majority didn't mean anything to the people that the loud minority murdered, but ordinarily he wasn't bleeding from a wound that prevented him from sitting up. Perhaps smart-ass quips were best preserved for a situation wherein being smothered with a pillow wasn't a genuine concern. So, instead he summarized his thoughts in a much less inflammatory remark, one that implied more than it said.
"You're right," he lied, looking away and closing his eyes. "I don't care."
In all honesty, if more Magi were kind like this one, perhaps Orion wouldn't hate them quite so vehemently. And perhaps they would have an effect on the criminal and violent Magi that had pushed him into where he was, both physically and in his life. It was hard to argue that the Magi weren't all bad, when he was laying there seriously wounded because of a spontaneous attack that had occurred when Orion had been doing nothing more sinister than visiting his mother's grave. But arguing the point was a waste of breath. What would he have been trying to accomplish, anyway? Convincing someone that his own race was evil? Unlikely.
With his eyes closed and his body so exhausted, it didn't take him long to fall into a deep sleep. If he'd had the strength to prevent it, he would have, but his body needed the rest. Badly. In his sleep, he couldn't look angry or dangerous, especially with his midsection wrapped in bandages and his face so pale from blood loss. No, he looked downright young without the baggage that had aged him so much in such a short time. He was only in his mid-twenties, after all, even if he didn't always look it.

Once the poor human fell asleep, Kaveri remained in place to watch him for a few minutes. Regardless of the others clear hatred for his kind the magi couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He could understand completely how the other might feel but wondered why he felt that way. He supposed it was none of his business but he really did wish he could make some kind of difference in this world or at least break down the hate in some form. "Sleep well, young one." With that said, he double checked to make sure Orion was covered and comfortable before retiring to the sofa on the other side of the room as Orion was using his bed. The night went rather uneventful. No hunters came pounding at the door, no pranks or sounds of violence. For once, the night was peaceful.
[break][break]
Kaveri woke in the morning, showered, and then came to stand before the hunters weapons. Kneeling down, he tilted his head to the side with pure curiosity. He had heard rumors about these weapons and what they where made from. In fact, he rather believed said rumors and just in case any of his brethren was a part of these blades he left a silent prayer for them. Standing, he went towards the kitchen and begin making simple toast and coffee.
[break][break]
If Orion choose to wake up a bit later, he would find Kaveri sitting at the small kitchen table. A plate of toast in front of him, coffee to the side, and his Orion's weapons laying across the other side of the table. Kaveri would take a small sip of his coffee and smile softly. He would reach over and touch the weapons before looking over at Orion. Shyly, he would pull his hand back and speak to him. "You're weapons are quite heavy...I think I almost broke my back moving them." He said with some humor in his voice. He sat up straight and then took a piece of to toast to nibble on while he allowed Orion to do his own thing. He could rest on the bed more or try to move, it was now up to the human on what he wanted to do.
[break][berak]
Kaveri did say that in the morning, the man could do as he pleased which included him leaving the bed and home if he felt up to it. "How are you feeling this morning?" he asked softly as ever. [break][break]

*sings* Put one foot in front of the other!
It took Orion longer to wake up than he would have liked, if he'd been choosing consciously, but his body was taking its time to heal. By the time that he opened his eyes, the Magi was already up and about again. Or had he been up all night watching? The thought was unnerving, but as Orion stretched a little, his mental inventory found that the Magi hadn't done anything to him while he was asleep. If he was honest, he hadn't entirely been expecting to wake up, or at least not in the same place he'd fallen asleep. Even if this one didn't want to hurt him, if word got around that a wounded hunter was unconscious and helpless at the water Magi's apartment, there would have been trouble.
Opening his eyes, he blinked the sleep away and inhaled a little more deeply to yawn, and the scents of the apartment filled his sinuses. Nothing much had changed, other than the new smell of coffee, toast, and burning crumbs, probably from whatever Kaveri had used to prepare his toast. No one else had come or gone. From what Orion could tell, Kaveri hadn't even opened the front door. Also encouraging. Would he get lucky, and get out of here without anyone sinister noticing?
He looked around and spotted Kaveri at the table, Orion's weapons in front of him. There was little concern that the Magi would be able to wield Orion's sword against him, considering that its rune was attuned only to Orion and that it was too heavy for most people to lift, much less wield. It was the gun and the knife that were the more immediate threat, but as the Magi saw him watching, it pulled its hand away from all of the weapons. There was bald curiosity in the old Magi's eyes, but no aggression. Orion forced himself to relax, since his back had seized up in the night, and the tension was making it more sore.
At the next question, Orion sighed and breathed in and out for a couple of moments. This was gonna hurt, but he had to try. What else was new? Gritting his teeth, he pulled his far shoulder forward, pushing through the lightning waves of pain that shot across his torso until he was on his side, resting his weight on his elbows. Hanging his head, he panted for a few seconds until his body got used to the new position. It was an improvement. If he could do that much, he could probably stand.
"Better," he said, half to himself.
He still looked ragged, with his jaw rough with stubble and his long dark hair slick with sweat, but although the color hadn't quite returned to his face, his eyes were resolute when he looked up again.

Silence came between the Hunter and the hunted. He merely watched Orion force himself into a sitting position silently. While Kaveri was impressed with the will power this man had to move he was also saddened by the fact this meant his company would be leaving him. He wouldn't know if the man would be all right by himself but he assumed he would just be fine on his own. With a small sigh, Kaveri leaned back into his seat while allowing Orion to do as he wished.
[break][break]
He had told the human he was free to do as he wished by morning afterall. Running a single finger across the rim of his cup the magi finally found the words to speak. "I'm glad." He paused for a moment then while his eyes looked towards the weapons before him. "I hope your God will be understanding with you having been in my care. I hear he is...rather...diffcult." He smiled softly. "Course, I mean no disrespect."
[berak][break]
Again, the Magi grew silent only for a moment. "Pardon me for asking but is your blade really made from my kind?" He asked softly. His dark colored hand rested upon the shealthed blade before silently standing. His eyes remained downcast at the blade regardless of the others answer. He didn't know why but he always had the fear that one day he would discover that the children he lost long ago might of met this fate.
[break][break]
A moment later he approached the other. He still wore his soft smile as he stood before him but not too close to make him uncomfortable. "Would you like any help?" He asked carefully, unsure if the human would just want him to leave him be or actually take his offer for a change. "Your complexion is better too...that's a good sign."

Knock knock, Neo.
Orion didn't comment on Kalidas, having some of the same concerns himself, but not willing to discuss it with this Magi. He was still trying to decide what to do about Kaveri when he finally got back to his feet, with the Hunter in him knowing that his decision to wipe out the Magi would include this one, but the warrior in him recognizing a non-combatant when he saw one. No Magi was completely helpless, but this one practically exuded peace instead of hostility. How nice that would have been, if he could spread that among his more aggressive compatriots. Whatever the case, Orion swung his feet to the floor and pushed himself to his feet, ignoring the offer of help. He slipped the shirt over his head, resolving silently to get rid of it when he got back to his dorm.
His vision went white for a second as he swayed, but he caught himself on the edge of the table. His hands were trembling, and he closed his free hand into a fist to disguise it. At the question about the sword, Orion glanced at the Water Magi. He didn't know that the Magi were aware of what Hunter's weapons were made from, but he supposed that it wasn't a particularly guarded secret. There were enough Hunters out there that had these types of weapons in public, so how could it be guarded? Besides, it wasn't as if even Orion himself knew the process for making them.
"Yes," he said simply, taking a couple steps around the table to reach his weapons.
He gave no apology or explanation. He wasn't the kind of man to apologize for being what he was.
Leaning against the wall by the table, he buckled the belt back around his waist, loosening it by a single hole to ease the pressure on his sword abdomen. Next, he pulled the shoulder holsters over his shoulders and pulled them to their usual tightness. They felt empty without their weapons in place, and he picked up his gun next. Pulling back on the slide to look into the chamber, he was surprised to see that the Water Magi hadn't even removed the round from the chamber. He could feel from the weight of the pistol that the magazine was still full as well. What a strange Magi.
Hearing a knock on the door, Orion jerked his head toward the sound, gritting his teeth. His hand tightened around the grip of the pistol, knowing that if he was attacked now, he would have to rely on the gun instead of his sword.

The magi sat silently as he merely watched Orion stand. A part of him wanted to reach out and help the human stand. He wanted to so badly guide him to the chair, aid him in dressing and check his wounds for a second time. However, he also knew that doing such a thing would quite possibly cause the human to become rigid and possibly do something against him. He didn’t think it would be harmful but he was certain the other would do something. Perhaps, in a way, he was afraid of the other speaking harsh words towards him or damaging the others pride so easily. Thus, he merely sat there and allowed Orion to do as he wished on his own. If the male was about to take a tumble then Kaveri would intervene and help. [break][break] After a good moment of observing the Hunter, he allowed his eyes to leave the human and rest upon the weapons. He looked down at the weapons sadly with a small sigh. He had heard of all these rumors but never really believed them until now. He merely figured the weapons might just be made by some weird human technology and not with the bones of his fallen brethren. Kaveri did not know what to say on that note. He wanted to ask what Orion thought about it and his feelings though he soon thought better. A hunter probably didn’t give two shits about his weapon or whose lives where taken for it and from it. He just stared at the blade sadly. [break][break] As Orion got dressed, Kaveri returned to his coffee with little concern for his own well being. Any other Magi would freak out and possibly try to kill the human for taking his weapons back. Kaveri, though, was different then the others. He didn’t at all seem to mind the Hunter was now armed and very dangerous. It would take a single bullet to end the jellies life or a single stab in the right location. Orion would possibly think him to be dumb but Kaveri didn’t care. To be honest, he made peace long ago with the idea of him dying from a Hunter. His race was dying everyday and his time would come eventually either by nature or a human’s hand. [break][break] He opened his mouth to speak but no words came from it as a knock sounded on his front door. His brows came together and he slowly stood from his chair. Glancing towards the door and back to Orion he took quick note of the hand resting upon the pistol tightly. With lips pressed together, the magi shook his head at him as a silent plea not to pull the weapon out. Lifting a finger to his lips for silence he then motioned for the other to return to the bed and use the blankets for protection. There might be prying eyes and he wanted to avoid conflict within his home as well as violence. Living in a studio made it difficult to hide anything but the bed would work and he could possibly pass Orion off as some random person that was visiting him. [break][break] He waited a moment and then went towards the door, looking back over his shoulder to see what Orion might do. Kaveri then smiled softly and turned towards the door. There was a few snaps of the locks before it was opened. ”Hello.” He said cheerfully with a bright smile. ”Is there anything I can help you with?” He inquired. [break][break]
