How the Culture Perceives Him:
No one Worships The ancient god of Madness. Why would you? Those who cross him are flayed alive while an angry immortal makes graffiti with their insides. and those that follow him are "gifted" with a varying form of madness. His shrines were ignored, statues hidden. and his very name forgotten for an era. For the longest of time, everyone's assumed he died long ago. That is.... until now.

Rumors have been circulation, Internet myths that the Mad God has become active again. Some Eye-witnesses claim he appeared as a tall man in a long white coat, spinning a large screw attached to his head. Granted those eye witnesses were later admitted into the local asylum so not many have taken it to heart.

How He Actually appears:
"I DONT THINK SO! No one gets to know what I look like Deary~ I'm shy you know. Nasty birthmark."

- Deity abilities: All Gods have the use of telekinesis and the Power of Teleportation
- Illusory God: An Illusion created by the Mad god is corporeal, able to be touched and felt by whoever is effected by the illusion. Pain, perception of time, and other emotions can be stimulated through the illusion's effect on your brain. "Basically, If you want scientific terms, I Go into your brain and make you feel all woozy inside~"

WEAKNESSES
- We're all mad here: Philip's power wanes and grows with the individual's own madness. But because of this, he excels at finding and pulling that one strand that unravels the entire tapestry.
- Boring boring BORING!: Philip gets bored easily if things don't go his way, or when they go his way for too long.
- Bipolarity/Multiple-Personality Disorder: Philip naturally suffers from waning moods and personalities that come with their own voice, often changing accents in the mix. as a reference, these accents will be displayed by a colour:

• Orange #e2a625: Commonly the Personality that will like see how many pins he can stick into your eye. This Angry Scottish sounding voice uses sloppy language and will say absolute nonsense. 
  
• Red #960c06: This voice signifies a very Angry God, If this Germaic voice is geared towards you, you'll likely not see past this day.
  
• Pink #ff0792: Philip's most common voice  is a Playful, high-pitched voice. Commonly followed by a high pitched giggle.
  
• Green #0e9b36: This is the voice when Philip means "Srs bidness" making fun of a High Class English accent.
  

 Long ago the countries live together in harmony but then, everything changed when the Mad god attacked. Wait. No. That's not my story now. What was it? how'd it go. hmm... there was a party, Goat mil, a severed head, Oh! that's the one there.

When the First souls began to inhabit humanity the gods sat back in their heavens and watched, purely content on doing nothing and being worshiped by their followers. But not our main character. he wasn't content sitting alone in his heaven watching everyone sing and dance and... grow old. He was just given a fascinating new set of toys that no other god wanted to play with. And so, That was when Philip first entered the mortal realm. He donned a simple human appearance and went to meet his first human. However not long through the conversation he realized how dreadfully dull they were. They Didn't Paint with the Colors of the wind for Pete's Sake! Don't know who Pete is but I'm sure he was just as distraught as I was. It was since then that Philip made his mission to make all human see the music, taste the colors and hear all the smells of this world.

Thus Philip was the first god to interact with humans, bringing them to insanity one by one. and what a glorious time that was! Homicidal rampages, serial killers, oh and the pudding! To die for. However all great things must come to an end. Humanity didn't seem all too keen on the antics of Philip and thus began to call on the other gods for help. They pleaded, they worshiped, and they gave their offerings. But this time the rest of the pantheon responded to their pleads for sanity. Philip found more and more of his play-things taken away from him, placed in the "protection of the gods" Lame sort. stole my toys they did.

However after the great war of the olden magic, Philip disappeared, relatively bored with the realm. he took his followers back to his mad heaven and only now started popping up in places.

Preferred Offerings:
- It's rare, but every once and a while someone will actually seek out the mad god. they either believe that he will help them with an enemy or simply carry them off to paradise. rumor has it that the mad god prefers offerings of nude juggling of cheeses.
- You could stumble upon a book of The Pantheon and he would be listed as "The Mad God" wherein you would read that one could build your own shrine but only one that displays your inner madness would work.

Most Common Followers: 
- Anyone with madness in their mind is considered a follower of Philip. This is how he can survive and appear in the mortal world with such frequency. As long as there is madness in the world Philip will be in power.
- Most Drug Users.

Possible Blessings and Gifts
- Sight of Madness: An Upgrade to the gift of the Seer, Philip can gift people with the ability to see the future. However, as this is not The God's true domain, it comes with a price. while the price can vary from person to person, it almost always uses the ability against the user more often than for. For example, if someone wished to save the lives of as many people as possible, They would see the deaths of people that could not be saved. Others often see too many possible outcomes, allowing the constant worry and planning to drive the host insane.

- Illusion Upgrade: As the Patron Deity of Illusionists, Philip has the ability to increase a person's innate illusion casting ability. "But. Good luck with that." Nyehhehe~

- Mad Enhancement: In Exchange for a portion of their sanity, Phillip Blesses them with an increases to their skills depending on How much of their sanity they want to give up, they could go from a weakling to a massive angry hulking monster. A noted retainer of this blessing was known as "Jack the ripper" in exchange for his sanity he wanted to be able to evade any capture, not realizing that it would turn him into the rampaging unstoppable serial killer we know today.

- The Ecstasy: The devout and truly insane people of the world their souls are brought under the protection of The Mad God. they are allowed into his "heaven" a world split into the many faces of Madness, where they live in a high, tripping for the rest of their days.
