With such a large amount of people, Elijah was finding himself resort to being led around by Luca. The zero magi was kind enough to lead him around. Arms linked, they'd made their way around much of what the festivities had to offer. If asked he'd full heartedly admit it. He enjoyed it. Stella and Luca had to have wrestled him away from his work, traveling an ocean away from his desk and the people who looked up to him for answers. But somehow, after enough puppy eyes being translated verbally and through tugs on his shirt, he'd found himself.
Stella was having a blast. It was the one set of feet he was focusing on constantly. Her tiny wooden zori were never too far away from them. It was a cultural difference of Ikigai he'd noticed. Ikigain parents were overall comfortable of their children venturing on their own. Elijah had learned it was encouraged even. He wasn't entirely sure how he felt about that. As a father from a country that held heavy racial tensions in the brief recesses of genocide in the past century, it was difficult for him to be comfortable with the idea.
"Hm?" Luca would repeat his previous words. It seemed Stella had found a game she wished to play. Luca leading his way towards the tiny set of feet he was so pinpoint focused on. "She wants me to play?" Elijah would ask in somewhat surprise. The question would be originally directed towards Luca but would then direct his attention to his little girl. "You want me to try, princess?" After getting an enthusiastic shake of his free hand Elijah would laugh in surrender.
"Alright, alright, let's see here." After getting a brief explanation from Luca on what was expected of him, Elijah would grasp the tiny scoop. "Wish me luck, princess." And in it went.
