To the surprise of nobody, Pathos has little need for a competitive side, save for certain occasions. The first and most obvious would be against one who questions her ability to protect her master; personal growth of combat skills supplemented with appropriate model upgrades has been known to follow challenges to the competence of one of Pathos's model. Second would be the rivals of her master who become in turn become her rivals, albeit ones she attempts to "defeat" by motivating her master to improve. Third and finally are other models of her type, whose bond, while sisterly, is one of fierce desires to prove themselves as the superior guardian.
