HUMAN
Basics
Humans rule the mortal world, period. They are at the top of all hierarchy and it can be safely assumed it is due to their ability of breeding at a much higher rate than any other species. Most humans are racist toward other races and tend to believe themselves superior.
Misc:
- Magi and Cyborgs Can also Purchase non-runic Human Abilities
- A Hunter can purchase Human skills. But a normal human can not use Hunter skills unless they become a Hunter. They are gifts from the Goddess Kalidas.
- A Runic Professor starts with Runic Magic Novice, Runic Magic Apprentice, The Last Defense, and one Command Seal that forces your character to obey all orders from the Headmaster (One order is to keep that fact secret).

STARTER Abilities

Hacking I: Basic level hacking. You can disable one cybernetic upgrade for an hour, as well as adjust one sense of the cyborg (make them colorblind, make their sense of touch feel off, lower their hearing, scramble taste or smell reception, etc. You cannot cut off a sense entirely.) Range: 15 feet
Regression I: You have occasional vague memories of only your most recent past life. Abilities you honed in that past life are ones you can learn at a quicker pace which is reflected on the site through a $5 discount towards all abilities that your past life were talented in. Regressing to your past life's consciousness is only possible at this level through a great deal of outside "assistance".
Seer: A person with this ability has flashes of still images that go through their mind when they come into physical contact with either an item or another living being (person or animal). This is an unstable ability that works randomly and out of their control. Persons with this untrained ability have been known to be treated as insane so be careful who you share this with. {This ability is known to be a natural gift of the God Irilys. Olden Language: Through study you know enough of the Olden Language to recognize key terms. You are not as fluent as a Rune user but you can hold your own in simpler spoken word or writing.

Runic Novice: After a lengthy period of time studying the Olden Language you have now been given your first small amount of ink to practice. Well done, student. You can now do Simple Magic Circles with very basic Instructions.

Intermediate ABILITIES
Hacking II: Advanced level hacking. Disable three cybernetic upgrades for six hours. Adjust three senses. Gain limited control of a cybernetic limb (not total control, but make them fight to use it). Range: 25 feet
Brute Force Hacking: You can disable an additional upgrade when hacking, and disabled systems stay inoperative for twice as long.
Biofeedback: Your hacks affect the nervous systems linked to cybernetic upgrades; if you successfully disable a Bionic’s upgrade, they will feel pain as the virus causes negative feedback to their nervous system, similar to an electric shock. As well, you can adjust senses of bionics, even if they are NOT cybernetic
Regression II: Your memories are more detailed and can go back for up to three past lives. Abilities you honed in those past lives are ones you can learn at a quicker pace which is reflected on the site through a $10 discount towards all abilities that your past lives were talented in. Due to the more powerful link you have now, regressing to your past life's consciousness can now be accidentally triggered. This is a very harsh disadvantage seeing as your past life self will have no memory beyond their own life and death. This has been known to be incorrectly diagnosed as Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Runic University Abilities:
Runic Advanced: This is the level that approved professor characters will be placed at. Not too newbie where someone will ask "um, why are you a teacher?" but still allowing room for the character to upgrade their abilities. Your circle knowledge is enough that you can even put a complex circle within a complex circle.

Regression III: Memories can range back as far as ten life times. They are much more vivid to the point of having a chance of recognizing someone from a past life in their new form in this life. Abilities you honed in those past lives are ones you can learn at a quicker pace which is reflected on the site through a $20 discount towards all abilities that your past lives were talented in. Regression to a past life's consciousness can be achieved purposefully through meditation and accidental "switches" drops significantly.
Runic University Abilities:
Runic Expert: You are at the top of your field. It is not an odd sight to see a Runic User at this level to not only charitably help society but take paid jobs through the Government and the Hunter Guild. But most importantly, you are the major force of the University itself. Your skill has reached the point that you can have even 3 levels of complex runes within a single rune.

The Last Defense: Professor Only - Built within the runic programing of the Command Seal is a defense mechanism designed to be used as a weapon to protect the life of the host. When the conditions are met, the host can activate the seal, bringing it to life. The ink is ejected from the host through the pores of the skin, clumping together to form a living plasma that can be controlled telepathically. The Seal can take the form of up to five shapeable tendrils that range up to five feet in length. They can harden or sharpen and can gain weight to be used for all manner of attacks. This versatility in use is meant so that the professor can escape possible capture and dispose of all witnesses.
To be used, the body must be in a fight or flight state and can be activated through the use of an incantation or self injury. The ejection process is painful and the host loses a lot of blood during the activation (as the ink itself has merged with the host's bloodstream) and even more so the more tendrils you produce. Afterwards, the ink returns to the host and a location is sent to the Holder of the Master Seal (the Headmaster).
All with a Command seal have standing orders to make this ability a last resort. The Last Defense is obviously not commonly known of for this reason. It could be considered another secret of the University's for that reason. (Taking this ability means that your character is now a professor.)

Master ABILITIES
Regression IV: (Not available to purchase without undergoing a try out. This is supposed to be extremely rare and will need admin approved, non-OP plot reasons to purchase) You have vivid memory of every single life you have ever lived. This is considered being "enlightened"
Runic University Abilities:
Runic Master: You are highly respected and trusted, wether you are a student or professor. Now you've learned the Greater Rune. able to make any of your runes twice as powerful as before.
An optional additional benefit of reaching Master Rank is if your character has been networking and proving themselves to the Head Master of the University he may share with you the recipe to the ink. This includes the University's metaphoric darker skeletons in the closet ... and perhaps quite a few literal skeletons as well. Do you really want to know? Or would it be better if you stayed ignorant?
