► “Shhhhhh…It’s going to be alright, I promise.” Lelianna said in what she sincerely hoped was a soothing tone. Not to mention an nonthreatening one as she carefully maneuvered the doe to sit down with her in the grass. The other deer looked on with concern, gathering around the two anxiously. Lelianna could read it in their body language. Fortunately none of them strayed anywhere near the object currently covered in vines.
Someone had left a bear trap in the woods.
The hermit personally despised those things. She understood what hunting was about and how it could be a necessary thing. But bear traps? They were cruel and often left unattended, leaving anything trapped to bleed out slowly. Such as this one where Lelianna had been guided out by the hum in her head to find a doe trapped and her herd fretfully standing nearby. Using her powers to carefully force the trap apart had been easy. Getting the doe to calm down enough to trust her proved a little challenging. But looking at the damage the trap had done?
That was hard.
Fortunately living out in the wilds for a few years tended to get rid of any squeamishness. So Lelianna had no qualms about setting the broken hoof back into proper place. She was just sad it had happened in the first place. “Easy now…I’m going to help you, okay?” Speaking softly, the earth magi extended her power to the grass near them. Immediately it responded to her will. As she held the broken bit of the leg in place (as well as keeping the deer sitting with her other arm) the grass grew up in a thick blade to start wrapping around the wounded area. Though that wouldn’t do much to hold it in place. Lelianna looked to the nearest tree. “Can I get a straight stick please?” It took a few seconds but she could hear the creaking groan of wood moving. Before long a fairly straight and sturdy stick landed near her and the doe. Which startled the deer somewhat but Lelianna managed to calm it before it tried moving and hurting itself.
For the next few minutes Lelianna was utterly focused on creating a makeshift split for the poor creature. Which meant she wasn’t exactly paying attention to her surroundings. The rest of the herd, however, was. So many of their heads and ears flicked over to where they heard some stranger approaching.

[googlefont="Poiret One"] [attr="class","boxxed"] Lovely Althea walked down the forest path, resting on her walking stick. She had taken a wrong turn on her way to the temple, along the way, a butterfly of all things had distracted her, and it was just so sunny out that the zero magi couldn't resist the urge of a little cat nap. As such she had strayed from the normal path and found a nice spot under the trees, near a small bundle of tulips. The forest was amazing that it could grow such beauty in such an intimidating format. Praise Arithelia, for her foresight and the idea that the nature was ever shifting, a balance between peace, conflict and prosperity, was one that Althea tried to echo in the Grand Temple. Each element had a room to reflect th balance that was Arithelia herself. It was a shame that Zero Magi weren't able to achieve that same balance, but as healers they had a role that was just as important. Zero magi were supposed to heal others, and make sure the other elements did not grow out of control. At least that was Althea's personal opinion. Asa zero magi she was trying not to be biased in this decision herself, but she knew her purpose. To serve Arithelia in the best way possible. The grand temple had become her home and she would not hesitate to to make sure that her visitor's appreciated what Arithelia had done for them. And so the zero magi had taken her nap, had a pleasant dream about rainstorms and her life before the camps, woke up and proceeded along the path until she heard a voice. It was certainly odd as this section f the forest was normally only inhabited by the animals and spirits. At least it had been in her opinion, but what did she know? Nature was confusing, odd, and completely unpredictable. She wouldn't complain though. Slowly, and softly she peeked out from behind a tree to see someone covered in leaves and brambles, surrounded by a herd of deer. It seemed that one of them was hurt and from the antlers, she assumed that the magi was trying to help the injured doe. Well that was awfully nice of her. Althea gave a small smile before slowly approaching with her hands up. "May I help?" The words that came out of her mouth were soft and sweet. No loud noises would be made, as she didn't want to scare the deer away or cause any more injury.

► As the zero magi approached the deer shifted nervously. only then did Lelianna look up, noticing the small woman approaching. She blinked. At least the woman was taking her approach slow. If she’d moved quickly it would have frightened the deer, along with the doe she was currently tending to. As it was, Lelianna watched her come closer, hesitating for only a moment.
“Be careful of that. Bear trap.” With a gesture she pointed towards the opened bear travel covered in vines. She’d used her power to pry it open. Even so it might still be dangerous should the other magi step on it. As Althea would come closer, the deer would part for her, all staring intently and nervously. Skittish by nature, this herd had been a little hesitate to trust Lelianna with this. With Althea they were even more so.
By the time Athea got to Lelianna’s side, the split had been essentially completed. The blade of grass Lelianna had woven over the break and the straight branch had proven to make a pretty solid split for the doe. She was just wrapping up when Althea got to Lelianna’s side and the redhead showed her the work.
“She’d gotten caught in the trap. I…” Well let’s not open up the can of “I can hear the forest” just yet when the doe hadn’t tested out the splint yet. Besides, if this new magi could help more then Lelianna didn’t want to get off topic. “I found her and her herd. I managed to pry her out and make this split but well…i-it’s not very pretty.” Luckily she’d covered over the ugly bit and the hoof was secure once more with the split. Still it was a very nasty breakage.

[googlefont="Poiret One"] [attr="class","boxxed"] Lovely Althea's ears twitched a bit as she slowly made her way forward. She didn't want to disturb the deer, or the magi that was helping them. When approaching someone injured it was always best to make yourself as a small and unintimidating as possible. Something that was fairly easy because of her size. Also it would help if she drooped her ears and smile. Smiles always made people feel comfortable. Especailly if they were hurt. From the looks of it the doe was seriously hurting. This other magi had tried their best to help, but from the looks of it, she knew that the animal would be in pain for a while. It was time for her to help after all. Althea almost stepped in something that made her scowl. Who would put a bear trap in these woods? Didn't they know it was sacred here? The only hunting that should have been allowed was the natural order. Anything outside of that disgusted the zero magi. Must have been humans. Of course the humans were the problem. They were the only ones foolish enough. Carefully stepping around the trap Althea would say in her soft voice "Thank you for warning me." Her tone was kind, but underneath that she wanted to kill which ever human had set the trap. As the zero magi was slowly, but steadily able to inch closer, she observed the makeshift splint the , now possibly eath magi, had constructed. It was good work and she smiled as she knelt down. Getting closer to the doe. She listened intently to the deer girl, hearing the explanation. "I'm sorry our forest was invaded by humans." This was in refrence to the trap and she would shake her head before refocusing herself to the woman and injured animal. "You've done well, now let me see what I can do." Althea would hold out her hand, and slowly touch the injured animal's leg. Oh wow, this doe was feeling incredibly in pain, a sense of panic and wariness washed over her as her empathy flared up. Taking a deep breath she would slowly and calmly center herself. Once done, the zero magi would activate her sympathy. It was best to get the animal as calm as possible for the next part. "I've used sympathy to calm her, but the healing process can be painful. Please make sure she doesn't move as much as possible." The zero magi wanted to do this as easily as she could and hoped for the other magi's assistance in the manner. "I should be able to reconstruct the bone." She would offer a small smile as her tail would twitch behind her. "This will likely wear me out, so please make sure that there are no threats after the process." Reconstructing a bone was hard and draining after all. Especially an animal's bone, given that the anatomy was different. If the other magi gave her consent, Althea would nod and focus her energy into the animal below her, holding out one hand to heal the bone, and another to keep the animal calm. Over the course of the next few minutes, the bone would begin to regenerate and heal itself, bits of pieces would patch together and strengthen in order to become stronger than it was before. The doe would feel pain, though Althea was trying to keep it as less as possible. This was quite draining, but she had to try her best. When finished Althea would take her hands off the doe and sort of slump into the ground. The leg should be fully healed, but it had come at a cost to the energy of the zero magi. "She should be fine now." Her voice came out hoarse and as a whisper. Hopefully she had helped... right?

► Thankfully the cat Magi stopped before she accidentally stepped into the trap and went around. As she drew closer the doe in Lelianna's arms stirred. With a few soothing words and gentle strokes to the animal's fur with her free hand Lelianna kept her as calm as was possible. The pain was already making the doe want to dash away, even if that would potentially hurt her worse. Fortunately she did not as Althea joined them.
So the other Magi could help? Because Lelianna very clearly could see it was another Magi. And older one from the looks of it, which actually gave her a little more hope. Maybe she had more experience than Lelianna in this sort of thing. The redhead watched as Althea reached out and gently touched the doe. On its part the doe was staring now at Althea, ears flicking towards her and heart obviously pounding from what she could feel under her hand. It wasn't exactly helping much with the wound but at this point the vine work Lelianna had performed sealed up most of the bleeding. There was use to making a "band-aid" that would actually form to the wound almost perfectly.
Slowly in response to Althea's power, the doe's heart-rate would go down. She was calmed, for now, and much less likely to panic. Even Lelianna noticed, having the doe essentially in her lap at this point and feeling the tension leave the muscles of the deer. Lelianna smiled a little at this. Hope was dawning in her expression. Especially when the other Magi reported she would be able to mend the bone! "Okay. And don't worry I uh...I can tell if something bad would approach." Luckily the gentle hum in the back of her head, while starting to almost sound like something lately, stayed just like that. A gentle, unthreatened but aware hum.
As Althea got to work, Lelianna kept an arm wrapped over the doe. During the process she could tell there was pain involved. Tension came back to the doe and a few times she stirred and tried to move somewhat. However Lelianna held fast, murmuring soothing words and continuously petting the fur to help calm the deer in her own way. Eventually Althea slumped back and concern lit up Lelianna's features. Goodness she looked tired! However before she could ask anything the other Magi announced that the doe was fine.
Might as well test that.
Carefully Lelianna let the doe go. It slowly stood up, testing its foot while the others watched on. Seeing it had no difficulty, it took a few more steps forward. The splint was still on its leg, now complete. Lelianna watched for a second or two before turning her attention back to the other Magi. "Are you alright?" Worry over the woman's state ran thick through that question. "Thank you so much for all your help though. She looks as good as new." Lelianna glanced over one last time before looking back at Althea. "But it looks like you really drained yourself. C-Can I help you in any way? If you're from Haven I could help you get back or something." Anything really to help the woman who'd been so kind.

[googlefont="Poiret One"] [attr="class","boxxed"] Lovely Curse the hunters, curse the humans, all they did was cause destruction and pain! Althea was convinced that they were nothing more than an eyesore to the planet and the country. The cat magi's tail flicked back and forth as her nose twitched in anger. This would not have happened If that trap had not been set. Which would not have happened if the humans had not trespassed on the goddesses domain. She was not going to ever forgive them for what they had done, and it was apparent to her that humans were behind this. Throughout the healing process Althea would smile over at the other magi, and give reassurance she would give a small nod when the earth magi held the doe's head in place. Healing was not an easy process for anyone, and she was glad to have a helper that understood. When the doe would start at the cat should give a smile as her ears twitched in nervousness. This would be tricky but she was confident in her ability to do so. She had been healing for a long time, and though it was rare for her to heal animals, and she might have had much more experiences in healing magi, she was justified in her skillset. "Thank you for keeping watch." The soft sounding voice would nod, but become focused on her patient. Earth magi could tell when things were coming towards them right? That was the point. If the earth magi was to trust her with the healing of this doe, she was to trust the earth magi with the task of watching over the site. Althea would smile as she watched the doe stand. The bone was reconstructed, and stronger than it had been before. The flesh had been healed, and there would be no scars on the doe now. The leg was completely healed. "I am... fine." The zero magi squeaked. Right, new person. That wasn't good at all. Keeping her eyes on the ground a slight blush went over Althea's face. "It took a lot of energy out of me... that's all. I'm used to magi anatomy, not animals." The elder woman would offer a small sad smile. "I'm glad she is well." Althea would raise her head and glance out over at the doe. Good, it seemed like the doe could walk. "I was on the way to the Great Mother's temple." The words would come out as she looked back towards the path. "I am glad Arithelia's gift could be used to help another." A small smile would cross Althea's face and she would turn to the other magi. "The temple is my home, and I commute from the temple to haven if I am needed." She would nod at the other magi and give a little bow. "My name is Althea Santos, a zero magi."

► There was a moment there that made Lelianna a little confused. The other magi looked angry for a moment. At what, Lelianna couldn’t tell. Perhaps it was the bear trap? The rest of the time she was healing the deer she only gave Lelianna little smiles here and there, so she didn’t think it was her. The bear trap was her best guess at this point.
The whole while Lelianna kept a bit of focus on her connection with the forest. At times she was…a little distracted by it. It was changing of late. She almost thought she could hear something the more she focused on it. However with the few twitches from the doe she couldn’t quite spend all her attention on it to identify what exactly was happening. At the very least she could tell that nothing was coming. The time Althea spent healing passed in relative peace.
It was…odd meeting someone that appeared to get embarrassed right after doing something so helpful! From her words Lelianna gathered she was some sort of healer. Well, healer of magi normally. The healing was already kind of obvious by looking at the now walking deer. Which speaking of which, Lelianna observed with a smile. “I’m glad she is too.” Sincerely she was.
Oh! She was a priestess from the temple! At least that made sense if she actually lived in the temple. “Oh! My name’s Lelianna. Um…earth magi and hermit.” It was an odd greeting, or at least in terms of the greetings she’d given before. Which wasn’t saying much. Hermitude sort of did that. “It’s nice to meet you Althea. Er, Ms. Santos. Ah…W-What should I call you?” She was older than her by a bit from the looks of it. And a priestess from the sounds of it. Or at least someone who tended to the temple. “Sorry I just, ah…I’ve met some of the, um, monks? At the temple. I-I never really know how to…address them.”

[googlefont="Poiret One"] [attr="class","boxxed"] Lovely Althea was more than focused on helping when she could. As it stood she couldn't afford to be angry at hunters currently. She had a patient. Thus her professionalism took over and her anger was quick to disappear. She might have hated hunters with a fiery passion, but at this point she needed to concentrate on the problem before her. And so she did. Althea's main focus was on the healing aspect of the mission she had at hand before her. It was important to make sure that she did what she could in the best way possible. If that meant draining her energy, she would. This doe and magi needed her and she wasn't about to let either of them down. It was her job as a zero magi to heal and she wasn't going to fail her goddess. She knew that when she finished that it might have been odd for her to be embarrassed but this was different. Now she had to be social instead of professional. The cat magi's tail flicked behind her and slowly began to wrap around the front of her so she could hold it. "I'm sorry she was put into this situation in the first place." The cat magi wouldn't look at the deer magi, but instead kept her eyes focused on the ground. At the introduction Althea could only grin. It seemed she had stumbled upon someone as awkward as she. Whereas she was more shy this person seemed to fumble with their words. "It is nice to meet you, are you the one with the garden I've heard about at the temple?" It was famous as a devoution to the Divine Mother. "We've actually modeled the serenity garden a bit after the plants in your therapy garden." Althea always appreciated another healer in one way or another. "Arithelia's spirit flows strongly through you." From the sounds of it, the garden was massive in the woods, and she would always encourage magi to use their divine gifts. "You may call me Priestess, or Althea, or Ms. Santos." A soft smile came upon the cat magi's face. "Whichever you prefer. Those who come to use my services normally call me Priestess. Those who wish to be respectful call me Ms. Santos." The magi paused before continuing, her ear's twitching in a slight fashion. "The people who wish to be more familiar with me call me Althea." Whichever Lelianna chose, Althea would be fine with. "At the temple you are allowed to address the monks there as monk, or priest, or by name if you know it. All magi and spirits are welcome at the temple. We are all children of the Great Goddess, and Divine Mother Arithelia."

► Wait. People…knew about her garden? People talked about her garden at the temple?
A part of the temple was actually modeled after it?
Hopefully Althea was meaning to make the redhead blush, because that’s exactly what she achieved. Blood rushed up to Lelianna’s face in a surge, making it as scarlet as her hair. Not only that but flowers bloomed in her hair, all variations of crimson and orange. The hermit actually felt lightheaded from the amount of blood that flowed into her face. “W-W-W-What?!” She eventually managed to sputter out, feeling a mixture of bafflement, embarrassment, and honor at someone apparently thinking her garden was that pretty to actually be a model for a part of the temple!
How did they even know about her garden? Although she didn’t really make it a secret…After all it was kind of hard to make a garden that was literally miles wide a secret.
“I-I….I-I n-never knew anyone h-had, ah, d-done that. T-Thank you I-I’m….I-I’m honored someone thought it was ah…good enough to be a m-model.” Wow she really did a great just stammering her way through that one didn’t she? Granted she’d never, not in her wildest dreams, imagine something like this would happen. lelianna was still kind of recovering from it to be completely honest. Hey, at least not Althea wasn’t the most awkward out of the two of them. Lelianna had essentially turned into a cherry with a lively wreath of red flowers growing from her hair.
“Um…T-Thank you M-Ms. Santos.” Especially now, she felt less comfortable calling Althea by her first name. By the gods, she felt like she’d pass out her face was so hot. Was it on fire? It must have been on fire. “I um…H-How did s-someone ah…model the…y’know…H-How did you h-hear about my, ah, garden?”

[googlefont="Poiret One"] [attr="class","boxxed"] Lovely Oh… Oh no! What had she done? Was the poor deer magi all right? Althea peaked up during her conversation with the redhead and was surprised to find someone who was turning quite red. Was she feeling alright? Was she about to faint? Althea wasn’t quite sure but she sure hoped not. She had spent most of her energy on the deer, anything else and she would likely go into a coma. She didn’t have the extra energy to expend. It was all quite confusing. Had Althea said something to upset the deer magi? That wouldn’t do at all. Biting her lip Althea would look towards her new comrade with a sort smile. “Are you not feeling well?” Really, the cat magi was misunderstanding. She didn’t understand what she had said, but she hoped she could remedy it soon. Althea took another look at the deer magi to note the flowers had bloomed in her hair. “Oh goodness, you’re blooming.” Hopefully it wasn’t a bad sort of blooming. News of Lelianna’s garden had reached the temple. Apparently there was one section that was dedicated specifically towards aroma therapy and calming. This was the part that the temple had chosen to incorporate into the serenity garden. A mix of plants that would be appealing to all senses and create a physical sense of balance as well. Oh my. Was the girl okay? She seemed to be stuttering and stammering through her sentences. Althea hoped it wasn’t because of her. She never wished to cause anyone harm, let alone make them stammer like that. “You are quite welcome.” Althea would take a moment to think before tilting her head. “Would you like to escort me back to the temple and see it?” She would tilt her head as her ears would twitch in contentment. “Maybe give suggestions? We hadn’t been able to get ahold of you to come in when we were remodeling.” They had only heard rumors of where the hermit lived but hadn’t been able to get into contact with her. Althea would offer a gentle smile to the flustered magi. She wasn’t trying to make her flustered, it just seemed to happen. “You are quite welcome Ms. Lelianna.” Althea’s fluffy tail would twitch in happiness. “Well, we had only heard rumors, so we went on those. We tried to keep it as closely as what we had heard. Namely things that would help earth magi relax and heal.” She wasn’t sure if Lelianna knew but the temple’s main focus, other than the worship of Arithelia was the healing and rejuvenation of Magi. “The temple is focused on healing other magi through the divine blessings of Arithelia. It’s one of my primary jobs there.” She wasn’t going to bring up the therapist part yet, she would wait until they got to the temple for that, maybe invite the deer magi in for tea? Then they could talk. Althea was curious why she had chosen a life of hermitage, but wouldn’t pry just yet.

► Was she alright? Oh just fine, other than the fact someone apparently say fit to model a part of a sacred temple to the very Goddess of Nature after her garden. Could you honestly blame her for being a little overwhelmed to learn such a thing? It was an honor the hermit had no idea how to process. So her brain was overriding and she just felt horrifically shy. Oooooh, if only she could sink into the ground right now. her reddening face and blooming hair was giving everything away. Fortunately it wasn’t the curtain of flora like what Caroline had summoned. It was just a very thick wreath around her head.
“O-Oh um…” Lelianna needed a second to breath and gather herself. yes she was very curious to see this part of the temple that apparently she had somehow inspired. By the gods, she was all flustered and shy. “I-I would, ah, l-like that.” because she really was curious about this mimic model now. And how similar it might be. And just what section they were talking about. Due to Lelianna’s obsession, there were a lot of sections.
Managing to make a smile back, it was still shy and humbled by this news she’d received. The good news was that her blush was finally going down. Though her hair still held the vibrant scarlet flowers of varying types. “Oh! Oh well…I-I hope it works well then. I-I guess I could…l-look it over?” Gosh that sounds so strange and she cringed a little as she said it. How in the world was she in any way qualified to look over a section of a temple? “I-I sure you guys did great though!” She added hurriedly. She wasn’t doubting the skills of the monks in Arithelia’s temple! Not by a long shot! “B-But I’d love to, ah, visit.”

It's a perfect day won't you take a walk with me? Althea was quite concerned at this point. The deer magi seemed to be swaying, just in the slightest. It was concerning because she wasn’t sure that Lelianna was supposed to be swaying. Was she feeling faint? That wasn’t good at all. She could only hope that she wasn’t the cause of the swaying. As an effect of her fellow magi turning Red Althea began to do the same. Sweet Arithelia this was so embarrassing. She had made another magi feel uncomfortable! How unsightly! Biting her lip Althea’s tail twitched nervously at the thought. She had even made a wreath appear on the other magi’s head.
Oh good, she wasn’t causing Lelianna trouble. Althea breathed a sigh of relief before sinking down a little in her slump. She wasn’t too sure on this whole socializing business but if this really was the magi who had a garden that spanned miles in Arceia, then she was more than welcome to come to the temple and view the gardens there. The temple was a place of beauty and serenity, a haven for magi of all types. When she was reassured that Lelianna would like to come the cat magi’s face burst into a blissful smile. “Then thank you in advance for escorting me.” She may not have been completely lost, but she was a little off the path. This just meant she would be in good company. “You are more than welcome to stay the night if you find the journey takes too long. We have rooms for that sort of accommodation.”
Hopefully it wouldn’t take that long to return to her home, but she knew that the grounds were a place of wild magic. They drew magi in, letting them feel their true potential, and power. It was Arithelia’s sacred ground after all. Of course magi would feel the effects. “I humbly thank you Lady Lelianna” Althea would go into a deep formal bow, this was certainly a treat then. “Arithelia’s magic flows through all, and we want to do it justice. You have an excellent eye for how to naturally enhance her magic, or at least we have been told has such.”
Slowly standing, hunched just a smidge, Althea relied on her staff to keep her up. She pulled herself up and felt her back creak with a sigh. She sure was getting old. “Shall we go then youngling?”

► Lelianna could sort of return that smile. By then most of her embarrassment was starting to flood out of her system. Which was good because she honestly wasn’t sure how much longer she’d manage to stay on her feet if all the blood in her body had gone into her face! “I-It’s nothing. Really.” Althea had helped one of the denizens of the forest after all, when she really didn’t need to.
That and hey they’d modeled a dang section of the temple after a section of her garden! The least Lelianna could do was escort the nice woman back.
“Oh! T-Thank you.” Surely it wouldn’t take her so long though, right? Lelianna was very used to walking through the forest now. She usually could reach places fairly quickly. Still, it was a nice offer in case she really did end up staying for a long period of time.
The bow completely caught Lelianna off guard. As well as the title. Lady? She’d never been referred to as that before! “Oh, ah…t-thank you…” Wow she was saying that a lot today wasn’t she? “You ah…y-you’re very good at healing.” Yeah that did not sound nearly as good of a compliment as the one Althea paid her. It was the thought that counted though, right?
There was a brief moment where worry filled Lelianna’s features as the older magi began to stand. However she managed it on her own and Lelianna soon joined her. “Sure!” And with a smile the two set off towards the temple. That Lelianna found herself both excited and terribly nervous to go to.

It's a perfect day won't you take a walk with me? Althea was more than happy that the redheaded, flower blooming in hair, antlered magi was sort of, kind of returning her smile. Oh Arithelia, her smile was just like her daughter’s. This made Althea wince in the slightest, but it wasn’t any of Lelianna’s business, so she kept her level of pain to herself. The cat Magi didn’t need anyone accidentally feeling guilty over something that was entirely her fault. “Thank you my dear.” Yes Althea was being that grandmotherly presence again. Did she really care? Not in the slightest. The cat magi’s tail wriggled in excitement at the prospect of Lelianna attending to the serenity garden. It was only right that she do it, as the garden was based off of small rumors the monks, and followers of Arithelia had heard. Besides, it would be a chance for her to stretch her bones after that work out. Mental workout that was. Althea wasn’t much for doing the gym thing. She had enough to keep her busy at the temple as it was. “It seems we are stuck in a thank you off.” She would suppress her giggle at the image. “You are welcome youngling,” would be the words out of Althea’s mouth. Althea would only nod at the compliment that the other magi would give her. It wouldn’t be disrespectful in the slightest it was just the way of the world. Of course Althea was very good at healing, she had spent her entire life doing it, while her entire life when she wasn’t in the magi camps. “You kept her steady. That mattered more.” Althea would offer up a small smile to the deer magi. Compliments were happening all around. Althea would nod slowly as Lelianna agreed to go to the temple. “Let us go then.” Her voice would echo through the silent forest as they walked back to the familiar path to the temple. Althea herself found her pace a smidge too slow, but she wasn’t going to stop anytime soon. Her bones were aching and the sooner she got to the temple the sooner she could take a nice long soak in the hot springs. And so the journey continued as the two traveled along the path to the temple and the finally were able to reach it without much problem, though Althea did have to stop herself from chasing butterflies once or twice. She couldn’t help that they were so tempting. It must have been an odd sight to Lelianna, but it was just who Althea was, so she wasn’t going to complain. The Zero magi would grin as they approached the ever large temple. This part of the forest was brimming with magic and Althea felt herself getting younger as they stepped. Not literally, but figuratively of course. She knew she was old. “Welcome to the Grand Temple of Arithelia, the mother of magic, and the divine reason for our gifts and powers. We praise her in this place, and we will give her reverence and respect.” This was something she said to all who entered the temple grounds. Althea was serious about her work and her goddess. She wouldn’t want anyone to be unwelcome here. “Let me show you to the Garden of Serenity.”

► Yeah they really were weren't they? Oh well, saying thanks was always a good thing in Lelianna's eyes. At least that was one thing her parents had really instilled into her. Always say please and thank you. It was just common courtesy. However it did tend to get her in situations like these whenever she meant a particularly nice person.
Again Lelianna offered Althea a smile at the compliment. This time it was much stronger and not as tinged with her earlier embarrassment. Thank the gods for small favors. After that they were off. From time to time Lelianna was a little worried she might be pushing the elder Magi a little, but Althea seemed to handle herself just fine. On the walk to the temple Lelianna also felt herself relaxing very quickly. Being surrounded by nature tended to help her that way. And lately her connection with the plantlife around her seemed to be getting...stronger. The hum was more prevalent, the feelings more clear. She could almost make out...something. Like a whisper. Only one plant had ever spoken to her before. Did this mean she was become even more tuned to Arecia? Or was Arecia opening itself to her?
Such thoughts would have to wait as said connection began to shift in tone and flavor. Before Althea even said anything, Lelianna was aware they'd stepped onto the grounds of the temple. A genuinely relaxed smile came to her face and she breathed in deep and let it out slow. "It shows." The hermit said in a mixture of approval and fondness. The dedication the monks gave this place, coupled with the sheer power flowing around the area, was hard for the earth magi to miss. It wasn't like the forest. Not exactly. But the plants here still ran fairly freely. "I can feel how well everything's doing here. You've all done a really fantastic job tending to the grounds." Aiming the smile down at Althea, the redhead only realized what she was saying later.
"Oh! Ah, but thank you. I'd love to see the, ah, gardens." Ah, there was that sheepish note to her voice again.
