So I think I've mentioned to a few folks before, but, I'm active duty Navy. I've been stationed out in Hawaii for 3 years and some odd, and now it's finally time to rotate and move on.
This week I'm PCSing (Permanent Change of Station) from Hawaii to Maryland (which is why I've been mia, everyone's trying to hang out before I leave). I'll be around-ish, but mostly I'm focused on making sure I get checked out of the command, have all my bags properly packed, get my flights arranged and get me and my cat out of here on the same plane. I'm flying out this Thursday (hopefully; I still don't have my tickets, which is stressing me out ahhhhh!) and will be staying a friend's house while I look for a house. Whiiiich is the other fun part. The day after I get out there I start the real house hunting/home buying process with my realtor.
Anyhow! Now you know if I seem to pop up briefly only to disappear again. xD I will make valiant attempts to set rl aside for a bit sometimes to pop on (because I need to relax every now and again and do something fun), but I can't guarantee anything I do will be timely for, uh...a little bit. Tentatively everything should be completely back to normal by May and you'll me on more regularly and predictably - but you'll definitely see me off and on in between now and then for sure! A girl's gotta have her creative outlet whenever she can manage. ;)
