جادو کی دیوی Arithelia was not know to be a Goddess quick to anger. The Great Deity of Spirits and Magic, the Grand Mother of Magi, was one of peace and patience. This was the legacy of her Graciousness, Arithelia. So it might have looked odd to a third party to see their goddess reduced to a tinier form, walking with the facial expression she was currently wearing. The sensation wasn't necessarily foreign to the girl but it was fair to say it wasn't her usual composure.
Fingernails dug into the panda backpack straps on either side as Ari's brows somehow managed to furrow further. Her stride was one faster than it was naturally. A sneaker would trip briefly over a rock before her short legs would return to the quicker pace. But Ari knew it was in vain. Sure enough, feeling through the earth's vibrations beneath her through the soles of her feet, there he was. Still following her. With a height that made the speed easy to keep up with. The little girl's teeth ground in annoyance at the situation. The plains were as far as the eye could see. And the fact the mortal would be following her for the entirety of it just burned her inwardly.
One week she had said. Ari had compromised. She had made an exception and what had she gotten in return? A magi as stubborn as the earth his element belonged to. A gentle breeze would cast the taller untamed grasses leaning to the right as Ari continued. Even nearby friendly spirits were staying their distance from the deity who represented them among the pantheon. One didn't need empathy to know how aggravated the tiny goddess was, but it sure helped solidify it.
It would be the yet another tripping of a sneaker upon a protruding rock that would set Ari careening forward in surprise. Though she was able to collect herself and not find herself falling forward, a metaphoric camel had obtained the last straw upon its back. Whipping around, her hair trailing from the turn's speed, Arithelia would glare at the tall man who would still be following her.
"Why. Are you still. Following me?" Ari called out to the earth magi. The frustration more than likely apparent in her voice. But in case it had not, the Goddess would collect a ball of gust in her left hand before directing it at the man. The wind would prove nothing pain worthy. Though the force would be nothing to snivel at. Strong enough to shove the man back a few steps if Jason weren't paying attention. After the gust of wind would have passed him Ari would be seen standing her distance away with a rather telling frown. آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: Jason Reed

Blessed is Arithelia, Mother of Magi. Blessed is the Inner Flame, eternally bright and warm as the sun. Blessed is the Tranquil Sea, ever formless and shifting. Blessed is the Solid Earth, firm and unbroken. Blessed is the Mending Hand, gentle and generous. -Jason Reed
He wasn’t sure why, but Jason had figured that his quest encounter less… petty issues. His allotted week traveling with the goddess he trailed had come and gone with no success in persuading her of the wisdom in allowing him to travel with her. His brother monks had informed him that he might encounter such issues, but he had allowed their concerns to fall to the wayside. He knew well enough that she felt that his traveling with her would be a danger to him, that by pushing him away she would save him from a grizzly end or a life of suffering. And for all his patience, the obstinacy was beginning to grate upon his nerves, regardless of the benevolent reasoning behind it. It was almost impressive to him that the small girl-form goddess could match him in stubbornness; at least, it would have been were it not for the annoyance he felt.
Very well, two could play this game.
At the end of his allotted week, Jason had waited on the edge of the forest until his goddess was a respectable distance away before continuing after her. He kept her well within his sight—of course—but he was never far from her to easily render his aide should she need it. He prayed that it wouldn’t even as he realized that an issue requiring his attention arose would hopefully convince her to allow his presence. However, it was an unlikely outcome given that the goddess’s mood was influencing the surround plains, driving away most—if not all—potential threats. Even he could feel the quite the force of her ire blanketing the area like a shroud. Still, he closed the distance when the small goddess began tripping over unseen rocks. Was it strange that he felt a he felt so instinctively paternal to the being that his faith taught him was his mother? Most likely, but it didn’t change the fact that he felt the need to run to her side—an urge that he resisted with great difficulty.
The smile threatening to grow upon his lips all but died when his goddess redirected her focus onto him along with a question and a blast of air magic. He’d not know exactly how to react and the hesitation gave more than enough allowance for the blast to hit him square in the chest. The man stumbled backwards several steps before finally managing to steady himself—a task made far more difficult by the military-style rucksack strapped to his back. A low growl and a narrowing of the eyes were the only signs that he might have been the tiniest bit displeased with his mistreatment.
“Forgive me, my goddess,” Jason began, voice low and words measured. “I haven’t exactly been following you. It only appears that way because we appear to be traveling in the same direction.” He wasn’t normally one for snide remarks, but his growing frustration needed an outlet and sarcasm seemed the best one available to him. He supposed that his goddess would be less than amused; he on the other hand was.

جادو کی دیوی The glare was a fierce one. Frustration at the scenario would be painfully apparent upon her facial features. The furrowed brow. The balled up fists. It would have been bordering upon intimidating if it wasn't for the gust of wind that would fling the majority of her long hair into her face. Flailing in a flury of aggravation and embarrasment tiny hands would brush the ivory strands from her paled face. Between the man's answer and the earlier not as stellar moment Ari's cheeks tinged of a flushed redness.
"You ..." The little girl's fists began to shake in her anger. "You think me a fool?" Ari called back. Her insecurities slowly began to bubble to the surface as she glared back to the other. The longer she stared silently the harsher her insides twisted. "I may look but an ignorant child but when I speak I at least expect my loyal to respect my wishes." She was a deity. She was a deity gods dammit.
"I am your patron goddess." Ari called, the tone unconsciously one almost as if she were trying to convince herself of her own very words. The wind's current would grow still a moment before a shift could be felt. The spiraling would begin slowly but as the little girl continued, seemingly unaware of her effect on the nature about her, Jason could easily become aware of the starts of a twister forming about them. The two of them being at the center, the eye.
"I told you no." Ari's composure cracking ever slightly to show the hurt underneath her frustration. "My reasons were based on my caring for you. Just because I look like this doesn't mean you should ignore me." آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: Jason Reed

It amazed Jason that Ari somehow found a way to make herself seem little more than an adorable child. An incredibly powerful and unusual child, but a child none the less. The sentiment would’ve been cause for him to chuckle for a few moments, perhaps crack a smile. This, however, was not a time for chuckling or smiling, and he was less than amused by the absurdity of it all. What made it worse was the fact that he was being lectured as though he were nothing more than a child. After all he’d been through, after all he’d suffer and experienced and overcome, he was being lectured! That it was from his patron goddess and the being that those of his faith would call their mother did nothing to detract from the sting to his pride.
“Yes, you may not be a little girl in anything but appearance, but your manner would suggest otherwise,” Jason said. The frustration that he’d been feeling at having his purpose denied him was beginning to show through now. He knew that the fallen goddess was merely concerned for his well-being, but it changed nothing regarding his own view. She needed someone to protect her from the dangers of the mortal world; his brothers had told him of how often the goddess feel ill and he saw evidence of that upon first meeting her.
His eyes shifted to the twister forming around them before falling back upon his companion, his only other reaction to manipulate the earth beneath his feet to better anchor himself to the ground. “You’ve not gotten your way, so now you lash out like a child throwing a tantrum! Not even my cousins will approach for fear of your wrath! And this little display of yours does nothing but attract attention that neither of us wish to garner! What will you do one of the Huntress’s faithful notice the sudden twister!?” He was forced into a shouting match with the wind and he had no intention of losing to it; not when he had something that needed to be said.
“And did I not tell you upon our first meeting that I have the strength to see this task done?! You are powerful, yes, far more so than I or any of my brothers and sisters could ever hope to be! But you are not invincible! My brothers told me off your many illnesses and how they affect you! What will you do if one of the Wolves finds you in such a state!? How will you defend yourself!?”

جادو کی دیوی -- The frustrated comment seemed to strike her right in the middle of the forehead, as if a rock from a sling. It practically caused her to physically flinch. The little girl's features cracked at the statement. Teeth grit. Nose flared. Her manner suggested what? Ari glared noticeably wide eyed in disbelief at the mortal who dared lecture her on, on ... on childishness. Oh, she was officially infuriated. The tips of the girl's hair sparked into white hot flames. The twister unbeknownst to her intensified. The cyclone about them was for the most part white noise. The earth magi that had dared to call his patron Goddess childish was what she was focusing on.
Tantrum! "I --!" Ari attempted to call back a retort, her voice easily powering through the winds utilizing cymatics. A stinging correction of saying such things to her of all beings. How was she lashing out? In a tantrum no less? He was the one saying such cruel things! But that was when she was halted in all manners of thought.
"They ... fear me?" Ari would ask in a hushed whisper. Fists, furrowed brows, narrowed eyes, they all simultaneously relaxed. "They fear me?" The fallen goddess would ask again as the twister began to slow noticeably. The fires hushed out in small streams of smoke that Arithelia only now seemed to notice. In fact, finally pulling her gaze away from the earth magi did she seem to fully realize what her anger had conjured. Blinking at the cyclone the little girl seemed to hush it away with but a wave of her hand. Every single petal that had dressed flowering field plants had been snatched away and would now be fluttering down.
"This ..." The tiny deity would begin, only now feeling the onsetting fatigue from her earlier actions. "I know I'm not invincible anymore." Ari began, looking from the falling petals across the Jason once again. Due to the earlier brief tornado all wildlife had retreated the area, leaving the two of them in near silence other than the natural wind breezing through. "I know that. I'm ... I'm not a fool."
Yellows, reds, pinks, purples, blues. A good few flutterings down would land in the girl's long hair as she sighed sadly. "If I am killed, I don't die." The little girl would admit verbally. "Not in that way. But you ..." Tears welled within those delicate eyes of hers. "If you are killed, you die. I lose you to the cycle. And ... I like hearing your voice." The tiny goddess sniffed once as her legs began to shiver from the accidental power exertion. It was nothing extraordinary but enough right now to need a breather afterwards. Slowly she lowered to sit amidst the untrimmed grasses, allowing a cushioned sitting if anything.
"I don't mind if they find me because I don't die when I am killed. I don't mind that pain once in a while." Ari said as she felt along the back of her head, feeling a particular place that had once gotten a bullet drilled into it during one of her past naps. Who had done it specifically she wasn't sure but what had been clear is that the magi she had been staying with were slaughtered about her when she'd awakened. "I'm hurt from losing so many of you. I don't hear your voices as often as I used to ..." It was lonely she concluded quietly to herself as she pulled her knees into her chest. آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: Jason Reed

The winds were growing in their ferocity in conjunction with the goddess’s rising temper. Jason grit his teeth against the rising volume and the sudden dip in air pressure. He lifted his hands and the earth leapt to his command, wrapping higher and higher on his legs until a large mound of topsoil buried him up to his knees. He felt his ears pop painfully as he struggled to keep his feet even with the very earth itself cradling him like a lost lover. There came a point where he began to fear that not even his reservoir of personal strength would fail him and he would be lifted skyward.
It was to his relief when Jason noticed that his words—cruel thought they were—were finally beginning to reach his patron. The flames licking at the ends of her hair were extinguished and her simple gesture banished the growing disaster as though it were nothing; perhaps it was for her. Jason dug into both ears with his pinkie fingers in a futile attempt to silence the ringing brought on by the abrupt silence that dominated the area. He used the time that it took to free himself of the earth to listen to what his goddess had to say and—more importantly—to ponder his next few words. The time for disrespect had passed with the violent tornado; now was the time for measure responses.
Jason allowed himself a moment more to breathe deeply through his nose and case his gaze skyward. The sweet scent upon the air helped to calm him further as he closed his eyes and the shower of petals alighted on shoulders and upturned face. Then, the earth magi moved towards his goddess, his mother, and slid to one knee before her.
“Perhaps you do not die as I do,” he began. “And, yes, perhaps you are capable of withstanding that pain when the occasion requires it.” Jason paused to shift a few rogue strands of hair from Ari’s face before allowing his hand to come to a rest on her shoulder. “But the fact remains that I have set myself upon this path and I will not turn away. In the face of seeing you to safety, my sacrifice is nothing. And if my life is to come to an end, then I will make it such an end as to be worthy of the love you have filled me with all my life.
“You may not need any protection that I can offer, but I will still give you my strength because I feel that I may be able to give you something you desperately need.” Jason wrapped his arms around Ari and drew her into an affectionate hug. “I may be able to give you hope.”

[attr="class","Morning"]
why did you allow me to fall from the stars? إلهة 女神 θεά 여신 ديوي देवी אֵלָה [attr="class","windyscarlet"] With her face buried into her knees the little girl sniffed against her pale skin. The fallen goddess didnt need her eyes to know the earth magi was approaching her. The earth's vibrations beneath her was telling enough. Ari would glance out from behind her snowy bangs as the mortal took a knee before her. Those iridescent eyes of her would shimmer from behind the ivory veil momentarily as another tear strolled down her cheek.
The words that would be spoken were in a kinder tone than his previous yellings. Jason's calloused fingers would softly brush a good few strands of hair from her line of sight before settling a comforting hand upon a shoulder. As the man continued in his thoughts Ari's eyes would brim further and further with tears.
Without a deviation of eye contact or so much as a blink Ari allowed herself to peek into the mind of the one before her. Surely what he spoke of was true. Love. The sensation filled Ari's chest and left her eyes threatening to spill over at any second. These words were being spoken from a sincere love. For her. An emotion Ari felt less and less often these days. Its appearance melted at her insides until she was, to her surprise, pulled into a hug. Eyes wide Ari stiffened at the sudden act initially. However, “I may be able to give you hope.”
The jolt happened in the lungs first. It trembled up through her chest cavity and into her shoulders. A single sob not only sent a powerful tremor from the tips of her toes and nose, but caused the earth around them to shudder. Eyes closed tightly, squeezing out the heavy streams of tears that were quick to dampen Jason's shoulder. Hope.
There Ari would remain, allowing herself to show her vulnerability and heart break. The scene would remain as such for quite the lengthy period of time if left uninterrupted. The little girl would continue to cry her tears, eventually burying her face into the man's chest. As time went on and the sun continued its route across the sky the ground would eventually cease in its tremors. The sobs would decrease in intensity up until finally all that were left were quiet sniffles and the breathing of one calming down. It would be here, in the man's arms, where the tiny goddess would fall asleep.
