»Shit, it had been a day. But wasn’t it always? At least it was the weekend, and she had plans. She was done with shit feelings and somber moods; tonight, her and Kelri were going to hit the club and drink until they blacked out. Or, she was, anyway. She was in her clubbing clothes, which really just meant her normal jeans/black tank top combination, just without the lab coat to cover it all. Without it, her tattoos, which covered the majority of her upper body and arms, were in plain sight. Her jeans were low and her top came short, leaving a few inches of skin around her thin waist out in the open.
She pushed the door open to the bakery, which said closed. Kelri expected her, so the door would be unlocked. As a courtesy, she locked it behind her, assuming they’d leave through the back.
“Ay, it’s just me, halwaa!” She called to Kelri, who was no doubt finishing up after the end of a busy day in the back of the shop. At the sound of her voice, a familiar feline poked his head around the corner. Her face lit up and she bent down, her hands on her knees. “Hello my beautiful, fat prince!”
She loved this damn cat. As soon as he approached her, she hefted him up into her arms with an exaggerated grunt and cradled him like a baby. She laughed as he pawed at her, and rubbed his belly until he purred. “Ay, you weigh more every time I see you, beautiful!” He put up with her joyful petting, head kisses, and cutesy talk with remarkable patience, but once that was up, he mewed at her face. She laughed and rolled him to his feet on the counter.
“Yeah, yeah. I spoil you, my round prince, you know that?” She produced a baggie of treats from her pocket and opened it. She dropped her voice to a whisper. “You know the drill; don’t tell your mom, yeah? Only a little today; gotta save some for Nasya and Hassan. They’re gonna get as fat as you if I’m not careful.” She put a small handful of treats in front of him and he wasted no time leaning forward and going to town on the food. She ran her hand along him from head to tail.
“Ay, Kel-Kel, you ready or what?” She called again.

[attr="class","slowbod"] It was finally the weekend and Kel was more than ready for the day to be over. Strange things had been happening and she was more than ready to get out of her shop. Especially after things were… escalating. She had a feeling she hadn’t heard the last of her deceased brother and it was frankly driving her nuts. The oven left on, getting turned off, the way the lights flickered when her patrons came in, and most certainly the way her sweets had salt in them, instead of sugar. It was all getting to be too much. Hence why she was looking forward to drinks with Diya tonight. The woman had made her way to her apartment to change and shower before she headed back to the shop after a flour fiasco. At the moment she was cleaning up pans that had mysteriously ended up on the floor again. The baker had left the front door open, knowing Diya would be coming soon anyway. She trusted her friend to let herself in. Kelri heard a voice from the front of the shop and assumed it was her friend. She wasn’t expecting anyone else. “I’ll be out in a moment deary” Came the voice from the kitchen in the back. She had no doubt that Obsidian could entertain their guest until it was time to leave. Besides she still had a mess to clean up. As soon as she was done, the woman would walk out into the front of the building with a smile as she would see the woman cuddling her cat. What she emerged from the kitchen to see was her friend cuddling her cat. Diya must have had a long day. She knew that her friend enjoyed the cat, but when she gave him a treat Kel could only shake her head with a smile, “Diya, you know that those extra treats only make him bigger right?” She jokingly scolded her friend before stepping out a little further into the shop. “Though, I suppose he deserves the attention.” Her eyes flashed. “A two-year-old stepped on his tail today, he was not happy.” The child obviously hadn’t meant it, and Obsidian had gone into sulking mode after that. It wasn’t fun for anyone who enjoyed her shop when Obsidian sulked. Kel gave a slight laugh before shaking her head. “Of course you spoil him.” It was only natural after all. She smoothed out her skirt with a grin. She really did have a tendency to dress more… badass when she was with Diya. The leather coat was a testament that she couldn’t forget those small bits of girly-ness after all. Kel would watch as Obsidian arched his body to Diya’s touch. Diya was one of the few people that Obsidian really truly cared for and the sentiment was echoed in his owner. “Don’t give him too much though!” She didn’t want another lecture from her vet. “I’m here, I’m here!” Kel put the apron she was carrying down and went over to give her friend a hug. “Shall we head out then?” The woman was anxious to get drunk and go dancing with her friend. People were crazy sometimes and she just wanted some alone time with Diya. After all, it seemed like they both needed it. »She flinched with a laugh. “Ah, the queen caught us, my round prince,” she said, feeding him a treat. She gasped in false offense and buried her head against Obsidian’s. “Someone stepped on the royal roundness’s beautiful tail?!” She knelt down like a knight, with her hand over her heart and head bowed to the floor. “Tell me who it was, my liege, and I will avenge your honor!”
Obsidian of course, only stared at her for a moment before headbutting her into a nuzzle. “You choose to take mercy? So wise, my fat prince. May you reign for a thousand years!” She picked him up with a grunt and held him like a baby, rubbing his belly with a smile as he pawed at her hair. “Oof! And a thousand pounds, yeah? Momma might have a point, sweetheart.”
She set him back down on the counter. “Of course not, habibi!” She said, as she slipped him yet another treat. She met Kelri’s hug and stepped back to examine the smaller girl. “Looking good as always, halwaa! Let’s make it happen, yeah?” She scratched Obsidian’s ears one last time. “Be good, my prince of pudge!”
Soon they were out and about, heading down the street to the bar and club. She really only went clubbing with friends; otherwise, she’d be happy drowning herself in some dive bar that served Surajan imports. She made talk with Kelri, keeping away from somber subjects, and instead keeping her up on stories about her classmates and other happenings. Her “pet” cat ended up mewling at her from an alleyway, and she gave him the rest of the bag of treats.
“Share with your brother,” she lectured with a finger wag. “I know you understand me, Hassan!” Her motherly speech gave way to a soft smile and a scratch on the cat’s chin. Kelri could pet him, too, if she wished; she knew all about Diya’s two strays that were more or less her pets; the cat, Hassan, and the crow, Nasya, were hungry babies on the streets before Diya found them, cared for them, and raised them as brothers. Unofficially, of course; she couldn’t keep pets in her apartment, and even if she could, she would feel bad for leaving them cooped up. After a moment, with the bag of treats gripped firmly in his mouth, Hassan would trot back down the alley, leaving the two women to continue on their journey.
She groaned when they got to the club; obviously there would be a queue but it was longer than she hoped it would be. Oh well, at least she had good company. Good company she could pry and joke with.
“So I met Orion; turns out he’s a student too, yeah?” She nudged Kelri with a grin. “What’s the story there, habibi?”

Kelri could do nothing but smirk as Diya coddled her cat. Obsidian didn’t need the attention but he certainly loved it. The cat was always in a particularly smug mood after Diya visited. He seemed to love the doting and attention that was given to him and honestly, it was partly Kelri’s fault. She was the one who allowed it to happen but she couldn’t say no, especially when Diya asked for something. The woman just had a look about her that Kelri couldn’t resist. “The person apologized profusely, and even bought obsidian a new bag of treats, he has been avenged plenty” was the response Kelri gave with a snort.
By now Kelri was genuinely laughing at the antics Diya did with her cat. Diya always made her smile in regards to her cat. She was kind and nice and somewhat of a mother hen. It was kind of adorable if Kelri was being honest. She tilted her head with a genuine smile ad flicked her hair back a little over her shoulder. “As long as he knows the Queen has all the final say he can rule as long as he likes.” She would do a mock curtsey to her green-haired friend. “Hence the lessening of treats, and the Queen’s final say” Kelri would give a smirk with the words.
Kelri grinned ass Diya set her cat down on the counter in his favorite spot just by the register. She loved the idea that he was watching over her money and was a fierce protector of it. Ahhhh Diya hugs. Kelri was just the right size to be squished adequately by her friend in a warm embrace of friendship. She appreciated Diya hugs and wasn’t going to stop any time soon. Diya would have to be the one to stop the hug and hey, if she put a sad-ish look on she knew the hug would last longer. “You don’t look too bad yourself” would be the words out of the baker’s mouth when Diya finally let her go. She gave a wink as they headed out the door, fully admiring her friend.
Kelri would be all smiles on the way to the club. She loved going clubbing with Diya, it was an experience and she loved the dancing that the two managed to pull off together. The baker was elated with Diya began to tell stories about her day and her classmates. Her mother and sister had both wanted for her to go to the university but she really didn’t want to. It was a life that seemed to be not suited for the baker. She was lost in thought with her own problems and almost kept walking when Diya stopped to tend to her “stray” that she kept.
Aww. Diya was sometimes too cute with these animals. She doted over them like another hen and Kelri was completely okay with it. The cat looked well fed, Diya must have been keeping track of them more often than she though. Bending down Kelri would give the cat a single head pat, she didn’t want to interfere with the bonding between mother and pet. “I see they are being well fed.” That was important after all. Kelri hoped one day that Diya would be able to formally adopt the cat and the bird who seemed to follow around her friends. It would do Diya good.
As they approached Kelri would grin at Diya’s groan. Did she forget who she was with? With a smirk, Kelri grabbed Diya’s hand and pulled her towards the front of the line. There were a few perks to being an Anderson after all. “Hey George, looking good.” She would give George, the lovable red-headed 6 ‘2 tall bouncer a smile. “Diya and I are looking to head in before the crowds really start.” Cue the puppy dog eyes. “I’ll buy you a drink at the end of your shift.” The small baker smirked as George let them through, and linked arms with her friend. “Thanks lovely, I will be sure to see you later.”
Turning to Diya to address the question as they walked in Kelri nodded. “Ah yes, Orion.” Her face would be met with a smirk. “Mainly the muscles. The arms and the muscles and the way he went silent whenever I tried to talk to him. Kinda awkward that one.” She would shrug and giggle. “Good in bed though.” Yes she had slept with him on the first date. It was nothing serious, at least for her.
“How about you, any interesting sex stories to tell lately? How’s it going with that professor who has the hots for you?” Yes, she knew that she was getting on Diya about this, but she also knew that Diya knew she was teasing. It was a win-win in all accounts to the young baker.

» “By your command, my queen!” She bowed to Kelri, and rose with a laugh. After the hug she winked back at her. “I always look good, habibi! Come on; let’s go do the club a favor, yeah?”
‘Her’ cat was familiar with Kelri, and so nuzzled happily into her little pat with a satisfied purr. Diya laughed and shrugged with a grin. “Nobody to keep me from giving them too many treats, yeah? If I’m not careful, that bird’s going to get too fat to fly.” She scratched her cat under his chin. “And you are going to get too big to walk, yeah? Get some more exercise, will you? Go on now, find your brother.”
Diya smiled quietly as Kelri worked her magic; girl could get damn near anyone she wanted, and she knew it. That was why they got along so well. She pat George once on the upper arm as a thanks as she followed Kelri inside.
She inhaled with a big smile. The club was energizing! The pounding music, the flashing lights, the constant movement of all the half-dressed people who didn’t give a fuck about anything but having fun… add the smell of liquor and smoke and sweat and you knew it was going to be a good time. Diya would want to head straight to get some drinks first, but she wasn’t going to abandon Kel-Kel if she wanted to get right to dancing. She laughed.
“So shallow, habibi!” Said the hypocrite. “Awkward’s right, yeah? Guy can’t hold a conversation for his life if you ask me. But as long as he’s not awkward in bed then it seems like a win for you, yeah?” There was definitely a high-five for Kelri after that. “Think you’ll have another go with him?”
If they hit the bar first, she’d waste no time ordering up something strong for both of them; first round was always on her, no matter what she or anyone said. Surajan hospitality was ingrained in her. She snorted a laugh at Kelri’s followup question.
“You’ll have to be more specific, habibi; all of the professors have the hots for me, yeah?” Except Anna said a little voice in her head. A voice that was going to be drowned in shots rather quickly. “Nah, I know who you mean. Dunno about getting involved with that, but she’s a fun flirt, ay? ‘Sides that, nobody new in my bed lately.” She shrugged. She didn’t really care about it as much as people might expect. She’d rather drink or make explosions in a lab.

Kelri would grin and nod towards the woman. “After you my princess.” If Diya insisted on calling her a queen she would call her a princess. It was only fair after all. The baker would smile and clutch at Diya’s hand as they walked. “Don’t you know it. They won’t even know what hit them.”
Kelri was more than satisfied to pet Diya’s cat as they stopped. It was more than worth it for her, as the thing was quite affectionate. Much like Diya’s spirit animal. No matter how much the other woman tried to deny it, the Surajan was a kind caring woman. She observed as the woman cared for her pet. That was something that she admired about the woman. The caring side of her. Her eyes would smile slightly as she observed the woman.
The glorious ability to make connections was one that Kelri was blessed with. It came from her family being political and in occupations that required the ability to be charismatic and sought after. Kelri was more than happy with the way George looked her over, and gave him a wink as they entered.
She really did love the club, it was one of her favorites. The amount of hitting on was lesser than other clubs. Kelri loved that it was more focused on the dancing, the art of it, and the sweat that flowed between the bodies as they continued to flow like the booze did; freely. The music was just the right level of pounding, the lights were flashing and people were dancing and the atmosphere was great.
At being called shallow Kelri would only shrug. “Hey, don’t tell me you haven’t slept with someone because of their glorious thighs.” She was lightly teasing her friend and Diya should be able to know it. “I cant resist muscles. You know that.” She would smirk and wink at the woman. “You are right though, the conversation just didn’t flow right.” She tilted her head and shook her head after a moment of contemplation. “Nah, He didn’t seem interested in more than just once, besides, he’s a customer.” Diya would know of her rules of not mixing business with pleasure.
Kelri would follow her friend to the bar, and shake her head as the Surajan ordered first. She never let Kelri treat the first round. That was okay. Kelri just had to get the other drunk enough to make sure it was really the Ethean who would be paying the bill at the end of the night. And so she would accept the drink and toast her friend. “To the beginning of a great night!”
Kelri would giggle as her friend flashed her confidence. “Oh totally, you know, the blond with the nice ass.” Grinning she stuck her tongue out at her friend. “Flirting is good, yes.” Kelri recalled the two’s younger days. So much flirting had happened. It was fun to remember especially when they were there for dancing. “Awwww, should we fix that tonight?” Kel was totally down for putting someone new in Diya’s bed. She could be an excellent wing woman. “Or are we opting for a competition?” Her eyes flashed as she took another drink.
Kel was always up for a little competition, especially if they were as sexy as Diya.

» She snickered and put her hands up. “Guilty as charged, habibi. And I don’t blame you; get a bodybuilding gal to flex in front of me and I’m done.” She pat her friend on the shoulder. “Ah, no big loss then, yeah? Especially with The Rule and all. Always good to have a good night though, yeah?”
She laughed and took up the toast. “And to memories we’ll forget by morning! Ha!” She slammed the drink with the practiced grace of a true regular. This was good! She was glad mostly that Kelri could get out and have a good time, especially after the funeral and all. She laughed heartily at Kelri’s tease.
“Ah yeah, the ass with an ass,” she said. The bartender was already pouring another drink for the woman that was putting their kids through college with her habit. “She’s charmed by me, she just doesn’t know it yet! Ah, but hey, if something happens, it happens. If not?” She shrugged and slammed her shot. “Whatever!”
In the moment, it was true. When she was safe in her house, alone, and could let down her walls, the Surajan was getting a bit sick of casual encounters and the flirting game. It was fine for other people, but lately she was feeling a bit lonely, although she would never truly admit it to herself, let alone anyone else.
And that was why she raised a brow and grinned at Kelri. “I’m not up for prowling tonight, but if you need a wingwoman? Hell I got your beck, you know it. For me? Been awhile since I got fucked up and danced, so that’s my game plan, ay?” She rose her glass to Kelri. “If it’s a competition you want, let’s dance our asses off and see which one gets some thirsty gal to beg to take her home first, ay? Or guy, too, in your case.” She laughed and took her third drink. “Hell, been awhile since a good fight, too. You’ll see one if some thickheaded boy pushes his luck, yeah?”
She winked at Kelri, stood up, and offered her hand. “Ready to own the floor, habibi?”

Having a good time was most certainly one of them. “Ahh so I have to get ya a body builder.” Kel was always up for playing matchmaker for her friend. Especially when they were as sweet as Diya. The baker just wanted her friend to be happy. “Yup~” Her voice would raise a bit at the end of that sentence, but she didn’t really care. It was time for a good time after all! “Good nights come in many forms.” The baker would grin at her friend and eye her up and down. “When was the last time we had a movie marathon with the ice cream?” Her giggles would escape again. “We should do that soon.” Kelri cherished the all the various memories she made with her friend. It was important after all, dancing was fun, but sleepovers were also fun. Especially when they could have some good old fashioned girl talk. It helped with she brought the sweets. Diya generally brought the booze and Kel provided the sweets that was the norm. “Even if I forget the memories I might make with you I will always cherish the fragments.”
The giggle commenced and Kelri would nod, “Darling, don’t you know that you are irresistible?” The baker would accept the drink that the bartender would pour for her, and gladly down it, trying to keep up with Diya. “Only the best for my Diya anyway!” Kel would giggle and give a little hiccup before leaning in to make sure that Diya could hear her. “Besides, professors seem to have secrets, and you def~ need to be with someone who doesn’t have them.” She was sure about that. Diya was an open person and she didn’t want some blonde nice assed professor to break her friend’s heart. “Don’t worry, one day I will set you up with a customer I know I can trust.” She could see it now, Sweets and Sweethearts, the Anderson Matchmaking Service. “I just want you to be happy darling~” If this was a text there would definitely be a little heart emoji that would accompany it. She really did. Diya had it hard enough without having to worry about her love life. The woman was a highly accomplished scientist who made breakthroughs almost weekly in her job. She didn’t want her to be lonely or anything, Kel was a good friend but she wasn’t her girlfriend. That didn’t mean she couldn’t try and get her friend some ass tonight if she wanted it though. At the conversation being directed back to her own love life Kel would smile and shake her head with a giggle. “Nah, I’m just here to have fun with you. You’re the only one I need in my life. You and this tequila.” She grinned as she took another shot of the drink feeling buzzed. The giggles were only the beginning to a night where she could just relax, dance, and have fun. “To fucking up and dancing the night away!” She would grin as she took another shot, twirling a bit in her outfit. Gods Diya made her feel like a badass. Smirking she tilted her head in response. “I’m only up for the competition if you are. I just want to spend my time with youuuuu” The ‘you’ would be elongated and a hiccup would come, as she spontaneously hugged her friend. “Are we deciding to get in a fight this early?” A head tilt would follow as the baker’s arms looped around her friend’s waist. As Diya stood Kel was pulled along with her, and she nodded emphatically. “Only one who has a chance at redeeming it is you babe.” The smirk that would follow was quite noticeable as the baker took the extended hand.

» Diya thought about it with a grin. “Yeah, wouldn’t turn down one of those, ay? Unf.” Good nights in all forms; that was why Kelri was a fun one to hang out with. “Ay, been a while. Maybe I’ll invite you and everyone else up for a night after finals are done, yeah? Sounds good- hopefully I remember that idea by the end of tonight!”
She flexed at the word ‘irresistable.’ “Oh, I know it, Kel-kel. Everyone wants a piece of this authentic imported Surajan art, yeah? So many suitors, so little time.” She laughed and shrugged. “Ay, I’m not looking to mess with professors, even if we get along well, yeah? Plenty of students to choose from if I wanted, but eh, I don’t really care right now, you know? Got plenty of things going on.” She snorted after she took her drink. “Ay, habibi, you don’t need to play matchmaker for me! Did one of my moms call you and put you up to it?” She winked at her and waved the subject off. “No worries, no worries. I don’t need someone in my bed to be happy, ay?”
She rose her glass to Kelri’s proclamation. “Friends and alcohol! Who needs anything else, ay? To fucking up and dancing, and putting this barkeep’s kids through college!” She laughed at that, pounded her shot, waved for another, and slammed that as soon as it was full. She laughed at Kel’s little hiccup. “For someone who drinks like me, you get tipsy really quick, you know that?” She returned the hug with a playful pat on her back.
“Ay, you know me, halwaa. Always making friends,” she laughed. Yeah, she was feeling the booze too, given how much she was chuckling along to everything now. “Got no patients for guys trying to catch me and bring me home, yeah? Only thing they’re gonna catch is these hands, habibi!”
Laughing, the two swayed their way to the dance floor, where Diya let Kelri’s hand and body go. It was time to fucking MOVE. Soon as she found a spot to, she started shaking her thang and moving like nobody was watching. And if they were, they were probably enjoying it; Diya’s movements were surprisingly fluid, and only her and a handful of close friends knew why. And if the right song game on… well, the club would probably find out, too.

Sometimes she forgot that her friend was in the university, though she supposed that was partly the reason why they were so busy, and Diya was so hard to get ahold of. “I’ll tell Cira to remember it.” Smirking Kelri tapped on her holo watch and a miniature fairy popped up. “Cira, remember to remind me to have Diya schedule a movie night sleep over extravaganza extraordinaire after she’s done with finals.” The baker would smile and touch the fairy before it would respond. “Yes Ma’am” Gods technology was useful. Turning back to her friend Kelri would smirk. “There. We’re good.”Kelri would giggle at the flexing that her friend would do. Gods she admired those muscles. Really, just muscles in general turned her on. Wait. No. Bad Kelri. Tonight was a dancing night, not an admiring a friend night. Right. Back to what she was doing. Shaking her head a little the baker assumed the booze was getting to her only a little bit. “All the suitors, with that physique.” Pretending to faint a little as her friend flexed she shrugged as the conversation continued. “Probably a sound idea. Annalyse would have your ass if you messed with a professor.” Kelri would giggle a little at that, curious as to what exactly her sister would do. “Noooooooo” would be the drawn out response to if one of Diya’s mom’s had called. She was telling the truth. The mom had emailed her. Technically she wasn’t lying. “I just want you to be happy.” She smiled at her friend and set her head on her hands as she gazed at her. “Besides, with you cooped up in the lab all the time, I worry about you.” It was true, the baker did worry about her friend, that much was certain. She wanted to make sure she didn’t get too attached to an autonomy model or something. Kelri would not be planning that wedding. Nope. She needed to make sure her friend was happy with someone who loved her. Not someone who could be taken apart. Grinning she shook her head. “We can totally do this tonight, right?” She was waiting for a confirmation from her friend and smirked at the next part. “Hey, we can’t all have constitutions of giants.” There was the giggle again. “Besides, you make me feel like a badass who can drink, even if I can’t.” It was an awesome thing when they went on binge nights together. Kelri would grin and nod at her friend. “Friends forever! Diya you are an awesome friend!” Kel just kinda turns happy when she’s tipsy so be prepared. Smirking she would look at the woman. “Probs won’t be able to catch even that.” Kel knew her friend was… dexterous. She could seriously move if she wanted to, and Kel could appreciate that. Kel would do little but watch in admiration as her friend started to move. It was always a magnificent sight to see and Kel could seriously appreciate it. While her friend began to move like there was no time to stop, Kel would do the same, moving to the rhythm of the songs that came on. She was happy to be here, happy to be dancing and when Diya allowed her, would complement her dancing in any way possible. Kel knew what she was doing here, and had routines in her head for what she was listening to. Dancing was the movement of the spirit in the body and the baker was an avid fan of going where the music took her. Smirking she would dance with her friend as the night continued. “You Are Awesome!” would be the words said to her friend in the middle of the club. She was here for this, and she wasn’t leaving anytime soon.

» Diya laughed and shook her head. Cira was too cutesy for Diya, but she had to admit it was perfect for Kelri. The only time she used a VI was with assisting her labwork (and, admittedly, homework), though she had no room to judge Kelri; her VI was Satya, her voice and appearance based on a Surajan punk vocaloid AI that she loved when she was young. She rose her glass after Kelri made her memo. “It’s a date, ay?”
Her laughter at Kelri’s feigned faint trickled off at the mention of Annalyse. She never went in detail exactly what kind of relation she had with Kelri’s elder sister, and didn’t plan to. She took her drink and nodded. “Right, yeah. Ha! Bet she would. It’s just asking for trouble on all fronts, ay?”
She rolled her eyes at Kelri’s ‘noooo;’ it was impossible to tell if they talked to her lately, but given that they tried to talk to ALL of her friends about watching her, she wouldn’t be surprised. Didn’t matter, anyway. She laughed at the mention of being cooped up, though. “Ay, see, now you sound just like them! What’s wrong with the lab, anyway? You’re cooped up in that kitchen all day, too, ay? Baking is science that you can eat, so you have no room to talk, halwaa!”
With another laugh she heavily pat Kelri on the shoulder. “Ay, you’re a badass, Kel-Kel, and you know it. You just need to drink more with me, that’s all! We’re both awesome, now let’s bump this damn club, yeah?”
Diya was happy to finally get to dance; it was something fun to do between drinks. Her moms told her an old wives’ tale about dancing helping your body process the drinks better, but that was probably just something they made up so she wouldn’t quit dancing when she grew up. She moved and flowed, rocking along with Kelri.
A guy tried to take his chance at getting close to Diya, and just to be nice, she danced away in a very deliberate move that said “nah.” When he didn’t take the hint, she added a new motion to her dance: a very deliberate knee to the crotch. While he grabbed his nethers and slunk off, Diya didn’t even stop her moves. The dancers gave her a few extra inches of space on the floor after that display, which had her laughing.
“Might get that fight after all, ay habibi?” She shout-laughed to Kelri. “Probably too afraid to come back after that. What an ass, ha!”
