Ryosuke approached the gaming stalls with his eyes set around the area. Indeed the number of games here were equally challenging while at the same time each of them were appropriately made to test one’s own understanding. He had little trouble with most of the games that were here however he knew of only one he truly liked, the gold fish stand. Rescuing a creature of nature out of the grips of humanity was something he truly felt an inspiration for, not to mention there wasn’t any other game he could currently spy that could use his efforts. So rigged or not, he hoped to at least rescue one fish. With his eyes deadlocked onto the playing ground before him he squatted at the fish stand, obviously the man who ran such a stand was shocked to see someone apparently in their twenties interested in this child’s game. ‘Suke however lifted his chained hand with a calm wave of it as he smiled, “Oh you needn’t worry.
“I am here to get a few fish for my brother’s amusement. He couldn’t come today but I know how much he loved these games.” Indeed ‘Suke enjoyed his brother’s enthusiasm and technically his brother was there, inside the gems on his lifted hand. However he didn’t have to show off at all about that instance, rather he was busy preparing to capture a gold fish. Handing over a token to play he lifted a small net and slowly sank it into the water, the net having caught some air in it automatically broke. He grinned, thinking to himself that the fish truly were a challenge this year as he handed another token and grabbed yet another net as he began to fish once more for the task at hand. His net however this time took a dip rather than a drop as it soaked through and stayed steady this time around.
Slowly he lifted the net up, a grin plastered along his goofy grin as he lifted it up with a kindred spirit to himself. He was enjoying himself and while slowly guiding the net his eyes spotted the fish he wanted. It was a gold fish yes, but this one was specifically special. He could only smile as he knew the fish was going to be amazing for the tables to turn for him. His guiding of the net until it rested underneath the fish and with a steady lift to not spook the fish he hoisted the fish up. Once out of the water the challenge began anew. Every challenging feat was there, and balance was the key while his fingers moved the net around to catch the fish’s every bounce relatively kind in spirit as he could make it.
However the fish was smarter this go around, dropping itself down and through the net it had weakened with the constant flailing, the fish made its way down and back into the water, his net had failed. “Well shucks, two losses in a row, I feel sorry for your brother.” The human stall man had said however ‘Suke only grinned, “Third time is a charm, indeed life’s cycles are always in threes.” He only grinned, dipping a hand into his pocket he pulled his third and final token out and handed it over. A grin to his lips as he now began fishing once more with the new net he procured from the man. Indeed this net felt right as he dipped it into the water for yet another adventure to fish among and capture what was rightfully his of this venture.
The net moved with the water, not breaking or weakening and as he lifted the fish up slowly, the fish was already putting together its demise. Indeed this was the same fish that had escaped just moments ago and found itself caught yet again. However ‘Suke only grinned and slowly lifted the fish with a diligent smile, the fish was bouncing but couldn’t break or leap itself free and back into the confines of water as ‘Suke stayed and remained victorious. The man clapped his hands and spoke, “Alright sonny, you did well. You get that fish and can go home happily to your brother.” Indeed ‘Suke began to put the fish away but the shock on the man’s face was the real treat. His face of absolute horror upon seeing the glowing scars along ‘Suke’s chest when it was revealed only slightly while putting the fish in the bag. The stall man was frozen still while ‘Suke only waved, “Thanks again,” and walked off.
