[nospaces][googlefont=Abel|Open+Sans] [attr="class","jarheathenscontainer"] [attr="class","jarheathensbg"] [attr="class","jarheathenstext"] [attr="class","jarheathenspic"] Nearly a year of tireless searching; nearly a year of constant and faithful observance of prayer; nearly a year of following a strange new instinct born alongside a newly discovered purpose; nearly a year of following one rumor after the next. And now, after nearly a year journeying the length and breadth of Ethea, Jason was finally nearing the end of his long road. He stood before the grandiose doors of his patron’s Grand Temple. The doors were thrown wide like the welcoming arms of a mother bidding her child fall into her arms. Jason though it an apt analogy; it was here, in this place of natural beauty, that all magi could feel the Mother of Magi’s loving embrace. A few monks dressed in simple garb roamed the courtyard beyond the gates, tending to the sculptures and plants therein. Jason nodded to those few that acknowledge him. He was known here among them for he would sometimes venture from his grotto to commune with his goddess within the safety of these walls. It was here that he’d first heard the rumors that would set him upon his path.; ironic that his long journey would end here.[break][break]His hand slipped into his jacket pocket and found the prayer beads cloistered there. He felt his jittery nerves settle slightly as he massaged the smooth granite. Though he knew now what would have to come next, the man found himself… hesitant. He intuitively felt how stepping through the doors before him would be as though he were stepping over the edge of one path only to find another. There would be no turning away after his next step forward.[break][break]Jason closed his eyes and inhaled a great gout of air though his nostrils. When his eyes opened, he exhaled and stepped into the sanctuary proper. His path had been set long ago and he would not turn from it. He wandered the halls of the grand cathedral, admiring the artwork and massaging his string of beads as he walked. It was peaceful here. Statues of the Mother of Magi resplendent in Her glory were in abundance. Here, She was a shaper of the living earth, and there She was a mender of wounds. Some depicted Her as a fierce warrior bearing fire in hand while still more depicted her as a tranquil woman bending the tide to Her whim. All were correct in their own way; Arithelia was the source of all magic and thus able to bend them all to her will.[break][break]Jason forced himself to ignore the grandeur of his surroundings and focus on the task at hand. He made his way to the simple, unassuming building in with the monks of the temple lived and opened the doors. His eyes roamed the rows of humble beds until he spotted the telltale bump that symbolized that someone was laying there. The barest hints of a smile graced his stern features before the settled back into his usual scowl. He strode up to the deviant bed and planted himself on the one opposite of it.[break][break]“Arithelia,” he whispered. “At last.” [attr="class","jarcreditdiv"] made by jaronart[newclass=.jarheathenscontainer]width:400px;height:600px;background:#fff;border:10px solid #540000;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathensbg]background:url(http://i.imgur.com/6wUMbM2h.jpg);opacity:1;width:400px;height:600px;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstitle]font-family:Abel;font-size:30px;font-weight:bold;float:center;text-shadow:2px 2px 2px #3B0000;text-transform:uppercase;color:#A30000;opacity:0;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;margin-top:-370px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstext]font-family:Open Sans;font-size:10px;width:350px;height:300px;text-align:justify;padding:20px;overflow:auto;color:#fff; opacity:0;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;background:#000;text-spacing:2px;float:center;margin-top:-350px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenspic]width:100px;height:100px;border:10px solid #a30000;opacity:0;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;float:left;margin: 5px 20px 5px 0px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarcreditdiv]font-family:Abel;float:center;color:#a30000;font-size:8px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstext b]color:#a30000;[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenscontainer:hover .jarheathenstitle"]opacity:1;[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenscontainer:hover .jarheathenstext"]opacity:0.8;color:#fff[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenscontainer:hover .jarheathenspic"]opacity:1;[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenstext::-webkit-scrollbar"]width:5px;background-color:white;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstext::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]width:2px;background-color:#a30000;[/newclass]

جادو کی دیوی It would be dawn. Warm rays of sunlight were just beginning to peek over the distant horizon and speckling down through the thick forestry. The temple would be filled with the echoing distant chantings. Ommmmmm's would almost seem to cast the Olden stone architecture buzzing lightly. Singing bowls added to the vibrations mesmerizingly. The bright ting's of Timsha bells alluded to a delicacy with every sounding.
Through out the days and nights previous, monks would have entered the area to check up on their fallen deity. The newcomer would have been questioned by a younger young man whose head was still healing from a nick to his recently shaved head but that would be the extent of it. The magi was a believer just as they were and would have assumed if he wished to cause harm, he would have done so much earlier.
As Arithelia's name began to weave its way through the morning religious chants, those iridescent eyes would begin shimmering behind closed sleeping lids. With the dim lighting of the extensive bedroom the light glow that danced upon her lashes could be seen by one watching. It wouldn't be until the first of the finches began singing that the little girl would stir at all. Small motions. A lengthy yawn would escape her lips before the small form further burrowed herself deeper into the blanket caccoon she always seemed to wrap around herself.
"Hmmmmmm," The child would mumble to herself groggily as those eyes would flutter open. Staring up to the intricate stone carvings within the ceiling above. Here she would remain until any sort of sound or slight movement from the other would occur. "Hn?" Would be the fatigued inquiry as that little nose and eyes would peek upwards slightly, glancing to the bed across from hers. That wasn't one of her monks. Certainly wasn't dressed for it. If nothing were to be said in the time of silence passing between the two Ari would nuzzle her way further so that her lips and chin could now be seen visually as well. "Can I help you?" The being would ask with a soft voice akin to one having just woken up. آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: Jason Reed

[nospaces][googlefont=Abel|Open+Sans] [attr="class","jarheathenscontainer"] [attr="class","jarheathensbg"] [attr="class","jarheathenstext"] [attr="class","jarheathenspic"] So, the rumors were true; the great Arithelia, Mother of Magi, the Goddess of Magic, was reduced to the stature of a child. Jason’s usually hard eyes softened slightly. He couldn’t help but find the situation a sad one. That such a mighty being could be laid low was a painful thought to consider. And yet there was no denying the shimmering display playing across the little girl’s eyelashes. Old tales of iridescent lights overcoming a deity’s eyes along with the rumors he’d heard in his travels were confirmation enough for what his faith told him was true. This being—this little girl—was his goddess.[break][break]Jason allowed himself to be lost briefly on the peaceful tunes pervading the air. He found solace in the tranquility offered by this sacred place. It gave him the strength to face the raw facts of the situation he found himself in. When he opened his eyes again, Jason found that his goddess was beginning to emerge from her cocoon of blankets and was staring at him, question his intentions, his reason for being here. He smiled at that.[break][break]“You already have in a way, my goddess.” He extracted his beads and crystal from his pocket and kneaded them between his fingers. “I’ve been searching a long time for you. You’re a hard one to track down.” He grinned, as stark white line against the darkness of his skin.[break][break]“But I never once lost faith that I would find you, and now that I have my task can begin at long last.”[break][break](OOC notes: voice sample) [attr="class","jarcreditdiv"] made by jaronart[newclass=.jarheathenscontainer]width:400px;height:600px;background:#fff;border:10px solid #540000;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathensbg]background:url(http://i.imgur.com/6wUMbM2h.jpg);opacity:1;width:400px;height:600px;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstitle]font-family:Abel;font-size:30px;font-weight:bold;float:center;text-shadow:2px 2px 2px #3B0000;text-transform:uppercase;color:#A30000;opacity:0;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;margin-top:-370px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstext]font-family:Open Sans;font-size:10px;width:350px;height:300px;text-align:justify;padding:20px;overflow:auto;color:#fff; opacity:0;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;background:#000;text-spacing:2px;float:center;margin-top:-350px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenspic]width:100px;height:100px;border:10px solid #a30000;opacity:0;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;float:left;margin: 5px 20px 5px 0px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarcreditdiv]font-family:Abel;float:center;color:#a30000;font-size:8px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstext b]color:#a30000;[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenscontainer:hover .jarheathenstitle"]opacity:1;[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenscontainer:hover .jarheathenstext"]opacity:0.8;color:#fff[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenscontainer:hover .jarheathenspic"]opacity:1;[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenstext::-webkit-scrollbar"]width:5px;background-color:white;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstext::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]width:2px;background-color:#a30000;[/newclass]

جادو کی دیوی The fallen deity's appearance was sadly anything but majestic and regal. Through out the entire temple there were beautifully crafted sculptures of her varying likenesses. Stone. Marble. Wood. Clay. Precious metals gilttering with assorted gemstones. All of them, every single one, would carry a dignified nobility. A loving display of graceful elegance. Beauty. And yet,
The little one struggled to free herself from the blanket burrito (as one of the monk's had jokingly called it) with cute awkward motions akin to a clumsy kitten. A thoroughly tussled and messy head of hair would arise. The ivory locks on such a youthful appearing child, the length could easily be imagined to surpass the shoulders but in the current bird's nest it was in at the moment? The exact length would have to wait on being discovered after a thorough brushing. Paled skin only further accentuated the reddened nose that was common among sickened mortals. Though the most of her would still manage to remain unseen underneath blankets upon blankets, it was easy to see she had been loaned an oversized monk's robe. The incorrect sizing, which was understandable in a monastary filled with adults, was made obvious by the way one shoulder hung lower down her arm.
However perhaps the most humorous of this display would be her actual facial expression. The grogginess was so utterly apparent in every aspect of her being, it was unmistakable. Heavy lidded eyes lightly squinted at the mortal in front of her. Brows furrowed ever so slightly. Never in anger or annoyance but a clear showcasing of her mind trying to wake up to best understand the magi's words. It would be an adorably hazy little girl that would be staring back at the mortal. Though this display would not last.
That voice. Ari's eyes widdened in recognition as also her lips relaxed into a quickly shifting excited smile. "Jason." The fallen deity spoke her follower's name with such fondness and joy, it immediately brightened up the disheveled and sickly appearance. Ari knew him. She heard him every single time he uttered her name and how often her faithful one had been all these years. "Unfortunately it's the tide that demands it." Would be her reply. It was good that she was difficult to find. If it had been easy the Huntress would have surely already knocked down the doors and had slaughtered all of those that resided here.
Upon hearing her faithful one had a task Ari would lean forward, her smile softening. "You've traveled a long way to ask for my help then." The little girl nodded in understanding. "What is this task that I may help you with, my precious and faithful child of earth?" Indeed, this was the tide. This man had traveled and searched gods knew how long to find her. Hopefully it was a task she had enough energy stored away to assist with. آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: Jason Reed

[nospaces][googlefont=Abel|Open+Sans] [attr="class","jarheathenscontainer"] [attr="class","jarheathensbg"] [attr="class","jarheathenstext"] [attr="class","jarheathenspic"] Jason’s smile managed to broaden itself almost imperceptibly. “It is indeed I, my goddess, your faithful servant.” He dipped his head reverently to his patron. Though she appeared to be nothing more than a little girl at present, she was still a being far greater than any other and she was owed every respect befitting that position. His smile faded to a sad grin as his head rose and Arithelia spoke of the tides of the world.[break][break]“Indeed, my goddess. I fear what would happen if you were easily found. The wolves and their Huntress would not be far behind your heels if such were not the case, though I feel that you already know that for yourself.” How could she not? She was a goddess after all and her entrapment on this mortal plane did nothing to change that fate. Yes, her power might not be as great as in the Olden Days, but she was still a luminous being worthy of his veneration. Even so, he shook his head respectfully when the godling mistook his intentions.[break][break]“Forgive me, my goddess, but you are mistaken. I have not travelled all this way to ask for your help.” He moved from the bed to the floor and took a knee, resting his left elbow on his thigh. “In my travels, I have learned that you are alone in your long path. You wander with no companions, no protection.”[break][break]“I have come to offer my protection to you. To pledge my life in your service as I have all these years. To be your constant friend and companion as you travel until you return to your rightful place in the heavens.”[break][break](OOC notes: voice sample) [attr="class","jarcreditdiv"] made by jaronart[newclass=.jarheathenscontainer]width:400px;height:600px;background:#fff;border:10px solid #540000;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathensbg]background:url(http://i.imgur.com/6wUMbM2h.jpg);opacity:1;width:400px;height:600px;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstitle]font-family:Abel;font-size:30px;font-weight:bold;float:center;text-shadow:2px 2px 2px #3B0000;text-transform:uppercase;color:#A30000;opacity:0;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;margin-top:-370px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstext]font-family:Open Sans;font-size:10px;width:350px;height:300px;text-align:justify;padding:20px;overflow:auto;color:#fff; opacity:0;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;background:#000;text-spacing:2px;float:center;margin-top:-350px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenspic]width:100px;height:100px;border:10px solid #a30000;opacity:0;transition:all 0.5s linear 0s;float:left;margin: 5px 20px 5px 0px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarcreditdiv]font-family:Abel;float:center;color:#a30000;font-size:8px;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstext b]color:#a30000;[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenscontainer:hover .jarheathenstitle"]opacity:1;[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenscontainer:hover .jarheathenstext"]opacity:0.8;color:#fff[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenscontainer:hover .jarheathenspic"]opacity:1;[/newclass] [newclass=".jarheathenstext::-webkit-scrollbar"]width:5px;background-color:white;[/newclass] [newclass=.jarheathenstext::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]width:2px;background-color:#a30000;[/newclass]

جادو کی دیوی Curious iridescent eyes would follow the tall man as he lowered to one knee before her. A gentle fluttering of her eyes would accompany her stationary kind smile. Why else would one of her children travel such a way? Surely her sweet loyal one had not gone through such lengths to meet with her purely for conversational reasons. With a patience crafted through thousands of years worth of existing and experiences, Ari would listen quietly.
It wouldn't be recognizable at first. The change would be minor. Minuscule. However, the longer Jason spoke of his intentions the further her feelings would showcase upon her face. The little girl's features were delicate to begin with. So to witness those thin white brows begin to furrow seemed to artistically clash. White eyelashes would flutter against her lengthy bangs momentarily as she processed the words. A small nose briefly flared before wrinkling slightly. But the lips would be, by far, somehow, the most impactful. Millimeter by millimeter, that precious fond smile would falter. The curvature would begin to droop, little by little, until it could no longer truly be referred to as a smile anymore.
He hadn't come for her help.
He had come to help her.
Ari did her best to not have the emotions show on her face and overall was successful other than the subtle slow showings mentioned above. It felt as if the breath had been knocked out by a punch to the gut. Gut wrenching. Arithelia, the Goddess of Magicks and Spirits. This was where she was now. Sitting up in a humble bed, wearing an ill fitting monk's robes, groggily tussled from her earlier sleep (of the which she now needed apparently), being offered help by a mortal. Because she was now being perceived as that weak and helpless.
A time of silence between the two would pass. The monk's continued mantras would continue to ring through out the walls, accompanied by singing bowls and the songs of finches. It would be a moment before Ari managed to open her lungs to inhale, readying a response. "I ..." Her voice would be soft. To her shame it even cracked much to her dismay. Those fragile hands hidden underneath layers of blankets would grip tightly at the robe's fabric upon her lap. If she'd have had the strength, the material would have torn in built up inward frustration. "...that is," The paled face of a little girl would flush as if lightly painted with an artist's brush. A blush would tinge at her cheeks and ears.
Upon finally swallowing the lump in her throat Ari would shake her head thrice. "I do not wish that for you." An unconscious lowering of her gaze would have the tiny fallen goddess staring at the cool marble flooring Jason knelt upon. "I do not wish that upon anyone. I," The iridescent gaze would rise once again, "am thankful. Truly. Very." A smaller smile was tweak at her lips though it would falter of its earlier brightening. "I am fine on my own. I do not mind being alone. My ... my path is not one I wish for anyone else to walk." The grip upon the fabric would tighten. "I wish to be your light, not your burden. That is a god's place for those that look ... up to them." With the man's height, who was truly looking up to who anymore? آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: Jason Reed

[nospaces][googlefont=Abel|Open+Sans] [attr="class","jarheathenscontainer"] [attr="class","jarheathensbg"] [attr="class","jarheathenstext"] [attr="class","jarheathenspic"] The sad grin slowly faded in sympathy with the change he saw within his goddess. It was a small thing—almost imperceptible—but it was there. What thoughts were being turned over by the divine gears spinning in her head? What caused such a transformation to his patron’s mood? His face returned to its usual stony mask as he patiently awaited Arithelia’s next words. Those full lips of his would droop the tiniest fraction upon hearing her answer.[break][break]“Burden,” he repeated, rolling the word around in his mind. “What burden is there in a task that one would willingly undertake?” Jason closed his eyes before continuing. “What do you think your many monks here would say were you to ask them if they thought of their faith as a burden? Their shaven head? Their meticulous care for your temple? Their early risings to praise your name?” His eyes inched open. “I think that you would find that they see it not as a burden, but rather as a privilege. They do these things because they feel that they must so that they may walk in the light of their goddess, just as I walked in your light during my years of solitude.”[break][break]Jason’s lifted his free hand to seek Arithelia’s. “It was by following your light that I was able to find my way through the darkness, and it is because of this that I was able to heal, to return to the world. So you see, my goddess, my dearest mother, I do not see the prospect of travelling with you as a burden. If anything, I view it as drawing closer to your light than I could have ever hoped, even if the path is a long one filled with peril and hardship.[break][break]“I have seen enough of both in my long days to know that the path I have chosen will not be an easy one, but I walk it not because I believe it to be easy but because I know it to be a difficult one. جادو کی دیوی Ari's iridescent gaze would follow the hand as it reached forward. The little girl's hands would still have been gripping the blankets tightly with white knuckled just hidden from sight until first skin contact would be made. The man's hand was large. Course. Rough. Warm. A warmth that melted away the tension and frigidity of her frustrated grip on the fabric. The tiny chilled hand would fall at ease as the broad fingers wrapped easily around the entirety of hers, the thumb giving a single calming stroke upon her wrist. Her eyes would shimmer once again as the monks meditated upon her name, their collective voices humming through the entire temple.
And there it would begin. A softness would brush across her features as the magi spoke his peace. His point of view. His thought process. The hurt that had poisoned her delicate countenance just moments ago, it was slowly being erased. It wouldn't dissipate entirely by any means. The roots of her physical frustrations within her chest cavity ran too deep. Inwardly her stomach was still tied at the concept of a mortal thinking it was needed to help along his weak goddess along. Never once through out all of her existence did Ari think she'd ever be in this situation. And yet here she was. It wasn't the mortal himself that had sent the pang through her veins, but the fact itself that the circumstances were as they were.
But here those brows would alleviate in their furrowing, her eyes would close from their narrowing with a lengthy sigh. Even the frown soothed from its stricter lines. This man, this ever familiar voice she had heard daily, wished to not just protect her because his deity needed protecting from scary somethings she was not capable of handling herself. He was offering friendship. A companion. Company for a long road. She had been walking this alone for close to a decade now, hadn't she?
At the conclusion of the little girl's sigh Ari's eyes would rise back up from the hand that held hers still. Eye contact would be made as her irises would shimmer once again, casting a cool glow upon the scene momentarily. "Your words have brought me light in return." The fallen goddess would admit with a soft voice. "I am greatly appreciative of you and your motivation as to why you wish to do what it is you've extended to me. I ..." Don't wish to see this life time of yours be cut short on my behalf.
Another deep inhale through the nose would occur as her small cold hand hold the man's in return. As well as one could given the size difference. "I would be open to you traveling with me this week." Would be her compromising answer. "I was planning on leaving after my children had their breakfast this morn and I a bath." Ari would grin in a light manner. "They were hoping to speak with me once more before I departed. If you'd wish to come with me this time through the forest, I would be open to this .... I suppose it has been a while since I've talked with a mortal while walking. It could be nice." آپ کیوں مجھے آسمان سے گر کرنے کی اجازت تھی TAGS: Jason Reed

[nospaces][googlefont=Abel|Open+Sans] [attr="class","jarheathenscontainer"] [attr="class","jarheathensbg"] [attr="class","jarheathenstext"] [attr="class","jarheathenspic"] It was soothing to watch the tension ease from his goddess’s delicate features, like watching the ripples caused by a stone cast into a still pond settling away. Jason’s eyes met those of his goddess and held her gaze as the aurora of lights played along her irises once more. He listened calmly to her words as the barest hints of a smile tugged at the edges of his lips. His face settled back into its usual stony expression moments later before he dipped his head in reverence of his goddess’s choice. A single week was not nearly a long enough stretch of time in which to accomplish the task, but it was a start. Perhaps he could use the time to convince the small deity of the wisdom and conviction behind his words. It was all that he could hope to do for the moment.[break][break]“It would be my honor to travel with you, my Mother,” he said. “I will offer what meager aid this mortal frame of mine can. You needn’t worry yourself one my account though; there is more than enough strength in me to see the task done.” His head rose and the stone of his face shifted into a soft grin. “I would join you and my brothers and sisters for a meal and spend my time in meditation as you cleanse yourself. Then, we may begin a new journey together. Brief though it may be.”[break][break] Though, you may find that it last longer than you expect, he added mentally. That short pause for thought was enough to tell him that his words had gained some small amount of traction. Was he arrogant for thinking such?
