Zero Magi Ability-Teleportation
Background:
Once upon of time, one of the first Zero Magi/creator of this ability had the power to vanish this reappear in a different spot. He was gifted with this ability and had the capability to teleport to even other countries. Soon other Magi were born like him and they used this ability to travel around within a few seconds. They’d use this ability to teleport wounded soldiers in war or as something simple as to get around. But as time went on this ability was feared by the unpredictability of where the person would go(today). Soon Zero Magi would rob cars, pass through security systems at night, and break in houses. As technology evolved, high-tech cameras would be place into businesses as a way to decrease crime from these intruders. And it worked , the rates of Magi using this ability to do crime has decreased.
Strengths/Benefits:
Positions- the Magi can teleport in the air(but best be prepared to teleport again on the ground or have a backup plan) or come out in a different pose(ex. You were standing before, but now you are in a crouching position 10 feet away from your enemy).
Fleeing- the Magi can get away from others who are trying to combat them by using this ability. However, this must be on level 2 or 3 for this to occur. It is very seldom for a beginner to get away with escape due to not being able to teleport that far....
Combat- the Magi can teleport in random spots to catch their enemy off guard
People- typical Magi can teleport up to 2 people, but they must be in physical contact with them unless on 3.
Quick Time- When teleporting at the beginning of your post you will come out at your destination at the end. If you teleport at the end of the post you come to your destination at the beginning of your next post. The benefit is that this gives your character time to not get hit/harmed.
Weaknessses/Limitations:
Stuns- With great power comes great weakness, and Magi able to teleport all have these things called stuns. Some Magi call it something else to be funny, but when in conversation people call stuns no matter where you go. Nobody able to teleport is currently able to not have stuns, except the first Zero Magi to have it, who is deceased. As time goes on people can adjust to ‘stuns’ by it not being that strong or the time of a stun decreasing. Anytime you teleport, the user gets a stun. It does not occur before or during/when you vanish . A stun is simply a painful and temporary ‘brain fart’. It causes nausea and dizziness for up to one post if you just teleport yourself. You can still move, but the chances of your attack landing is decreased due to your slowness and uncertainty. You may even have a hard time landing the attack due to your brain lag. This prevents instant kills and allows another character to react.
Distance: typical Magi are incapable of teleporting to other countries or random places(unless this is involuntary). If the Magi teleports to random places due to not being able to control the ability then them teleporting must occur within a town/city and it must happen frequently until they get control. This means they must teleport in ordinary situations and combat. If a Magi teleports voluntarily then it must be within a city and a familiar place.
Familiar Place/Location-all Magi who used this ability voluntarily must teleport to a ‘familiar place’. A familiar place is simply a place that is known to the Magi. Just because you used to live in Suraja but now you live in Ethea, doesn’t mean you can teleport to your childhood home. You must still be within the town. A familiar place is a place you’ve seen in media or a place you have been. It’s not a requirement for you to have rped at this place, but it still must make sense. A place like your apartment makes sense. A random restaurant that you have only seen the outside of? No.
People- Magi can only teleport up to 2 people with them.
Amount of Times: As a beginner you can teleport up to approximately 3 times repeatedly after the other before getting sick and possibly throwing up. Level 2? 5. Level 3? Up to 7 times, maybe 10. You must wait in between before teleporting again in order to not get sick.
Now let’s summarize all I just said for a way for othesr to comprehend quickly.

You can only teleport consecutively up to 3 times before getting sick. You can teleport on floors and not air. Teleporting is instantaneous, so if you teleport at the beginning of your post you will come and land at the end. If you teleport at the end of you r post you will be at your destination at the beginning of your next post.Note: You must have owner of other character permission to teleport.
Teleportation II: You are average at this ability and can teleport anywhere you like within a location(ex. Within Downtown not Felici). However, where you go must be a ‘familiar place’ to you. A familiar place is a location your character can picture in there mind perfectly. You can teleport up to one other person with you with ease now(physical or mental). Your stuns will last only one post or slightly less after this is activated. And you can consecutively teleport up to 5 times before getting sick. You can now teleport sky high up to a three-story building. Note: You still need to have owner of other character permission to teleport.
Teleportation III: You are now a master at this ability! Your stuns last less than 1 post at the most. You can now teleport up to two people, but you must be physically touching them. Experienced masters can do this with their minds. You also can teleport sky high, but be prepared to teleport again to land though. You can consecutively teleport seven times before getting sick. In order to do more, you must be experienced or be prepared to get sick! You are capable of teleporting within a town up once, but be prepared to end the thread if you teleport to a new location altogether(ex.Downtown to Virtoso Port). Note: You will always have to have owner of other character permission to teleport.
If you’d like(but prefer not to) I can type up a few posts using the ability as an example. I would like to see it on the site. I explained it like this so, this way there wouldn’t be too many questions asked. I’m definitely not trying to make a system or anything. I feel like it fits Zero Magi perfectly. They picture where they want to be and how they want to be, and they go for it. It also is a slightly unpredictable ability, but the stuns still make it for opponents of user time to react.
