Oh Honey I’m gonna make your life so sweet ❤ Kel was headed into Camlorn for the day, and she was more than happy about it. The little town was one of her favorite retreats from the hectic city life she lived. She had contemplated buying an apartment, but one look at the housing market in the small city let her know that that was a not an option. As it was, she was sleeping at the shop more and more, rather than her own apartment, and it was already hard enough to keep up the rent on the fancy apartment that her mother insisted she have. Though the alternative, living at home, was worse. Her mother was kind and polite to those on the outside, but her true form was prim and...let’s just say that her mother came from money, and it showed. Kel had always enjoyed the finer things in life, but she never realized how fine until she had gone away to college. It was there that even though she was working her way through, she still had enough spending money to do as she pleased. Plus MMORPGs could get expensive. She just had to have that level three hundred gear, it was the ultimate goal. Kel had brought Obsidian along with her in the carrier case. The cat was extremely social and loved to be around people so she figured she would bring him to Camlorn with her, especially if she wasn’t going to be at the shop today. She didn’t want him to get lonely after all. Since they had finally gotten to Camlorn, Kel decided to step out and enjoy the fresh air, away from the city. There was a nice little park area that Kel had planned on bringing Obsidian, and began to make her way there. That was when She realized that he had figured out how to unlatch the little hatch that held him in the carrier. Out went the cat with a burst of energy and speed he normally only used during dinner time. Holding onto her hat, Kel ran after her pure black cat that seemed to develop this speed only when he was trying to get away from her. These boots really weren’t made for running, but they would have to do. Kel tried to catch up as Obsidian ran straight up to someone sitting on a bench right by a fountain. Oh no, now he was rubbing up against him. The cat must think they this man was a customer. Slowing her run to a swift walk, Kel slowly approached the man. “Sorry about that. Normally Obsidian is so much more behaved.” Cue the glaring daggers at her cat. “Ah, I’m Kel.” -tag: Luca Burke #words:445 - notes:Cats solve all the plots - muse:Rinny finger drumming MADE BY VEL OF GS + WW

This was not the first time Luca found himself envious of those who took the bus to Camlorn, and it would certainly not be the last. It was far faster than walking, but more than he felt like paying for on a regular basis, when the fare could be much better spent on other things, like food, and supplies. The question was whether that mindset was wise or just sad. At the moment, he wasn’t entirely sure. But at least the area around the bus stop had several benches available, and no one typically spared him a second glance while he took a few moments to rest on one. With his arms resting across his back, and his bag sitting against his legs, Luca leaned back and shut his eyes for a bit, enjoying the gentle breeze and the gurgling of a nearby fountain. It was nice to relax… Even if it wasn’t for very long. Something small and soft brushed against one of his legs, bringing the zero magi to start in his seat. A… cat? Luca blinked. There was a cat, purring its heart out while it rubbed against him. A slow smile spread across his lips. “Hey there,” he murmured, leaning down to scratch between the cat’s ears. He was a bit too well-groomed and friendly to be a stray… perhaps he was lost? Boots clomping on the pavement brought him to look up, where he found a somewhat frazzled-looking girl running towards him. Her apology answered his unspoken question quite well. “Oh, um…” Luca glanced down at the cat, then back up at his apparent owner. His smile broadened a fraction. “Don’t worry about it. I… I don’t mind.” After a moment’s debate, he rose from the bench, although after the fact he wasn’t quite sure why he had. “I’m Luca.” Kelri Anderson

Kel normally took the train when she was traveling outside of Felici, but due to it being extremely busy, and hard to leave at four am, Kel had decided to take the bus. She was more than willing to sit in the cozy little seat that was dedicated just for her. Plus, it was easier to see the scenery on the trip. With the train being an express without any stops, the bus made more sense.
Besides, it was a nice relaxing trip. Seeing the many farms and houses that were scattered along the ride between Felici and Camlorn. There was some prime property between the two. She only really knew that because a couple of years ago her parents had debated buying some of the property Ultimately they had decided that they should purchase a house on the lake. Better property prices Kel was told.
And so Kel was chasing after her cat as he had escaped his carrier. She slowed to catch her breath as the cat came back into sight, still keeping up a small pace. She didn’t want to offend the person that Obsidian had decided to get friendly with. Gods, that was the last thing that she wanted.
Kel put her hands on her knees catching her breath as she came upon her cat. “I’m really sorry about this.” She really didn’t want to offend. Kel glared daggers as Obsidian continued to intertwine between the stranger's legs. She flashed a sweet smile to the stranger as he mentioned that he didn’t mind. “Obsidian is very friendly.” She grinned and tilted her head a bit. “We were headed to the park, and he escaped before I could put the leash on him.” Yes Kel walked her cat. How else was she supposed to keep the cat in shape?
Kel nodded as the ma rose from the bench and offered his name. “It is very nice to meet you Luca, I’m sorry my cat was... pertinent.” She bit her tongue looking at the cat and finally managing to put it on its leash. Once Obsidian was successfully on the leash, Kel turned back towards the man. “So, let me repay you for the trouble in the best way I know how.” Even if Luca was to object Kel would fiddle in her bag for a bit before pulling out a small bag with her shop logo on it.
Kel would offer the bag to this person whom her cat had bothered and smile. “Here, some of my signature Mint Oreo Chocolate cookies.” Grinning she tilted her head. “I hope you enjoy them.” Kel always carried sweets on her, and she would always have some to give to kind strangers. Especially ones who liked her cat when he was being a pain.

It felt like it had been quite a while since he’d laughed— actually laughed, instead of the nervous little noises he sometimes made— but the girl’s distress over her wayward cat somehow elicited a soft, warm chuckle from Luca. “Don’t be,” he assured her gently, with a soft smile. “It…” The magi paused a moment, thinking. “It was a nice surprise.” True enough, wasn’t it? He rather liked cats, after all. “It’s nice to meet you, too,” the zero magi responded in turn, stooping to give Obsidian a last, quick pet. The distraction was enough to keep him from fully registering Kel’s offer until she was already digging through her bag. “Oh! N-no, you really don’t have to—“ Too late. A smaller, paper bag with a logo he didn’t recognize had already been produced and held out. Not wanting to appear rude or ungrateful, Luca took it without further protest, and put on a fresh smile. “Um… Thank you.” Mint Oreo Chocolate cookies from— Sweet Nothings, was it?— sounded lovely. “I’m sure I will.” With that assurance, he tucked the back away into his own pack for later, already looking forward to the treat. It wasn’t often that he got his hands on fresh baked goods like this, especially without cost. Even if it was only a small gesture, it was a nice change of pace. Even so, for a while afterward Luca remained standing there uncertainly. Now what? He’d had the rest he’d stopped for, and earned a couple new acquaintances in the process, but… perhaps he ought to excuse himself now? Kel had mentioned she’d planned for a walk to the park, so perhaps it was best to let her get to it, hm? “Thank you again for the cookies,” he stated, bowing his head slightly as he started to turn away. “I’ll let you get on with your day…” Kelri Anderson

Kelri gave a soft smile as the person in front of her reassure her that it wasn’t a big deal. It seemed, in fact, that it was a nice surprise. She grinned as she looked over at the human. “Well I’m glad.” Kelri gave a sweet smile back to the man. “It was fortuitous in the least, as I got to meet a very lovely stranger at a bus stop in Camlorn.”
Kelri nodded over to the man. “Thanks for being understanding about my cat Luca.” She smiled as she turned and fished out the cookies from her bag for the man. “I actually met Obsidian just like this.” she smiled and turned her head towards Luca. “Obsidian was a tiny kitten, left alone I’m assuming because of the color of his fur and just walked right up to me one day on the street.” She smiled looking down at her cat fondly. “He actually did this trick in front of me, and looked pitiful, and captured my heart with his tiny little eyes, and he was mine.” Kel grinned and tilted her head. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to ramble...”
She laughed before nodding. “I made the cookies myself, I have a shop in Felici.” She pointed to the bag with a smile “Sweet Nothings: Puffs and Pastries~ That’s the name.” Grinning she looked over to Luca. “Feel free to stop by if you are ever in Felici. I will make sure to give you a discount." She winked over at Luca with a wide grin. She was always looking to strum up business.
Kel grinned as the two stood, looking a little lost in thought to the outside world. They each seemed to be existing pleasantly in their own spaces and yet at the same time in a conjoined area. Kel knew it was always nice to make new friends, and maybe, just maybe, Luca could become a friend. Blushing a little Kel realized her stomach was grumbling a little. It seemed that it was time for food. “Ah, sorry, my stomach seems to think it is lunch time.” Kel held her stomach and apologized to the man. “Would you like to join me?” She winked, and giggled a little. “My treat for putting you through Obsidian’s silliness.”

“A lovely stranger”… This one was a charmer, wasn’t she. Nothing short of bashful, Luca smiled sheepishly and looked away. A charmer who genuinely loved her cat. He listened quietly to Kelri’s little tale of their first meeting, nodding once or twice here and there. A stray cat, running up and practically begging for love and attention— it sounded about right, for her comparison. Her apology for getting lost in her story earned a shrug. “Don’t… don’t worry about it. It was… cute?” That wasn’t a weird thing to say, was it? He hoped not. “It, um, looks like he chose wisely by approaching you. Got him a good home.” A shop in Felici, though— that was a bit of a problem. Though it was a subtle shift, an observant watcher might have seen a flicker of worry in Luca’s features. “O-oh, ah…” He scrambled for words for a bit. It was a shame, sometimes, that he was a terrible liar. “I’ll have to visit sometime.” It was an unfortunate revelation, to be sure. Though they’d only met a few minutes ago, he found that he kind of liked Kel. It was a shame they probably wouldn’t meet again. But perhaps that meant he should simply make the most of the encounter they had now. He perked up a bit at the offer to join them for lunch, but balked almost immediately after. Food at the expense of another was not often an offer he received, and one that seemed unwise to turn down, but at the same time he worried he might be imposing if he accepted. “I’d like to, but… are you sure?” Luca asked, frowning faintly. “Obsidian really wasn’t that much trouble…”Kelri Anderson (ooc: Feel free to drag him along. ;3)

Kelri grinned as she told her story. She liked that Luca wasn’t chewing her head off, and seemed to be genuinely interested in her story. Obsidian was such a huge part of her life that she was more than willing to gush about her cat, especially to someone who seemed to care about cats. Kelri was a cat person, though if she was being honest, Obsidian was more a dog than a cat. She giggled as Luca called her story cute. “Well I think Obsidian’s origin story is cute.” Kelri was more than willing to continue if Luca wanted her to, but she was glad Luca wasn’t angry with her. “He can be a handful sometimes, but I love him.” She gave a fond smile towards the cat and shrugged. “I’m always trying to help where I can.” She looked over at Luca, and grinned. “Thanks for the compliment though.”
Kelri just barely saw the flinch in Luca’s smile. He seemed to be stumbling on his words and there it was. The lie. She had a feeling she wouldn’t be seeing her new friend at her shop anytime soon. “Do you visit dagos at all?” She tilted her head with a smile. “I’ve been thinking of getting an investor and maybe expanding there. My shop is quite well established in Felici, now I just have to hire reliable help.” She smirked and raised her hands in a whatever gesture. “What can you do when you are a workaholic?” She hadn’t thought about trusting very many other people in her shop, but as it was, she was financially stable, and she had a few people who she thought she could hire. She would have to see if she could get an investor first though.
Kelri could only smile as Luca’s face lit up at the mention of food. It seemed he might be just as hungry as she was! Smiling she looked over at him and tilted her head. “I’m most certainly sure! After all, I can never let a meeting with a charming stranger go to waste.” Smiling she kept hold of the leash on Obsidian, and linked her arm to Luca’s. “I know this great little bistro in town that has outside seating.” She smiled and nodded. “We can eat there with Obsidian. They are great because they have just about every type of food you can think of.” The little bistro was one in the small town that led the big city into the small town charm. The owner had come to Camlorn after running a restaurant in Felici, deciding to live a simpler life. It was a definite stop in Camlorn, anytime that Kelri went.
“Shall we go Mr. Luca? I know I’m starting to get a bit peckish. The food at Rose Court is absolutely divine!. ” If Luca knew the bistro kelri was talking about it would be a very high-end bistro. Kelri would never compromise on taste for price, and she was sure not going to let a stranger eat somewhere the price was better but the food tasted horrible. “I’m sure you will enjoy it!”
Kelri gave a wink over to the man and grinned. “When we get there, you can tell me all about yourself.”

He’d been caught in the act, it seemed. Or, at least, that seemed to be the case, given the eventual alternative Kelri suggested only moments after he’d finished his poorly-delivered fib. Still, it was nice to think there might still be hope of another meeting yet, eventually. The thought brought a little strength back into his smile. “I visit Dagos a lot for work, yeah,” Luca replied, nodding shortly. Maybe one day, then… Today, however, there was lunch to be had, on Kelri’s insistence. Luca relented at last with a meek murmur of agreement. “Every type of food you can think of” sounded rather nice, although even before they started walking in the bistro’s direction, he had to worry about how much this little venture might cost his new companion. Attempting to school his expression into something at least vaguely resembling calm, he spoke again. “Just, um, just Luca is fine.” Being called “mister” was an odd thing to him, and proved to be a welcome distraction for a brief moment. However, his worry doubled when he heard the name— from what he knew, the Rose Court was a rather high-end place— and then tripled when they actually arrived. Shifting uncomfortably in place, Luca eyed the establishment with no small amount of trepidation. Was it too late to suggest some place else? Or… or maybe he could get away with just a glass of water, and whatever the cheapest item on the menu might be. “It… looks nice…” the magi tried weakly, hoping against hope that his concern wasn’t too obvious. Kelri would offer a grin as Luca affirmed he traveled to Dagos. “Oh brilliant! You will just have to come see the shop there when I get it up and running.” Kelri wasn’t focusing on the negative, she was focusing on the positive. The baker was something of a sugar cube mixed with a glass of sweet tea on a warm summer day with a light breeze blowing. Nothing could get her down, especially in the sunny little town of Camlorn.
Of course Kelri insisted on going to lunch! Especially when the both were hungry and the both were excited over cats, what better bonding experience would there be? Kelri was determined to make lunch happen, one way or another. Kelri chanced a glance over at Luca and smiled as his eyes widened with the every food you can imagine comment. She knew she could lure him in with that. Smirking she looked over and nodded. “Luca it is!” If that is what he wanted to be called kelri was more than willing to call the man that.
Kelri offered a soft smile over to the man as they walked. He seemed to be worried about something? No bother, she was bound to make the best of this excursion. Her smile grew as they approached the bistro and the waitress that was outside. “Annabelle!” Kelri entire mood lightened as the waitressed leaned in to give her a hug that she reciprocated. “It’s so good to see you my friend, oh where are my manners?” Kelri motioned towards Luca with a soft smile. “This is my guest today, make sure you treat him with the best care.” She grinned as Annabelle lead them to Kelri’s favorite outside table. “Anything on the menu for Luca, I’ll have my regular.” She grinned before winking over at Luca. “It is very nice, the owners are family friends.” Smiling Kelri held out the card to the waitress. “Start a tab for me sunshine?”
The waitress nodded before looking over at Luca expectantly. She would wait for him to order at the very least a drink before she would scamper off to inform the owners that Kelri was here. When the waitress finally left Kelri would smile over at Luca and tilt her head. “Don’t worry about the cost, the owners are family friends, and I get a discount anytime I bring someone new here.” The young woman would flip her hair before leaning down to scratch Obsidian behind the ears. “Order anything you like, would you like to start off with drinks?”

Almost the second he walked through the door after his new friend, Luca felt very, very out of place. Visits to restaurants were rare enough for the magi as it was, and this place was just so… much. Certainly nothing he’d have gone anywhere near, if not for Kelri’s insistence. Suddenly, he wished he’d had his scarf on over his head, as he wondered whether a magi would even be allowed in here. Beneath his shirt, his tail tightened nervously around his torso, and a hand raised to check that his horns were still being covered by his hair.
While Kelri did the talking with the woman standing to greet them, Luca kept his eyes mostly fixed on the ground. When introduced, he barely looked up enough to stare at her knees, and offered an expression closer to a grimace than the smile he was trying for. As they were led to a table, he busied himself with hoping this Annabelle hadn’t cared enough to notice his nervous state.
He sat stiffly, trying not to fidget or look too twitchy as he went about eyeing their surroundings. None of the other patrons were shooting him weird looks yet, which he supposed was a good thing… although the waitress seemed to be staring, by the time his eyes settled on her. “O-oh, um…” His gaze shifted between the waitress and the girl across from him. Something had been said to him while he’d been distracted, he thought. Probably something about whatever he wanted to order… Right then. “C-could I just start with water…? Ah, please.” That seemed to satisfy their server, at least, as she put on a smile and scurried off soon after he’d finished stuttering out an answer.
Now to see about accomplishing the same with his companion. She’d said not to worry about the cost, but in doing so had only encouraged Luca’s concerns. Still, he nodded obediently, eyes flicking down to the menu that had been placed before him. “Alright…” What to do, what to ask for…? His eyes trailed down the list of prices to the side of each menu item. None seemed particularly appealing.

Kelri was quite at ease with the situation. She knew that this restaurant was absolutely the best, and of course she had to treat her new friend to the best. Besides, it wasn’t as if this was just another week. She wasn’t sure if she was going to see luca again, given how he had flinched at the mention of Felici. She just had to treat him. Whether he wanted it or not. Besides, the waitresses here were very nice, and the owners were family friends. She was more than willing to treat Luca. If Obsidian liked him, he was good enough for her.
Kelri made note of the grimace and just how uncomfortable Luca looked. This wasn’t a good start to a lunch. She frowned and shook her head a smidge, but returned to her cheery self for the sake of the waitress. She was certain that Luca seemed nervous, though she didn’t really know why. Instead of commenting on this though, Kelri would just give her signature smile at the waitress and wait for Luca to order.
Kelri gave a small sigh when he only ordered water. Giving a grin to the waitress she shook her head. “Water as always, but also bring out some chocolate milk. You know I need to satisfy the sugar craving.” The waitress would smile and go off with the order that they had so far.
Kelri set down the menu with a smile and watched Luca peruse the menu. “There is lots of yummy things to choose from on the menu.” She gave a grin and reached down to pet Obsidian. “What are you feeling? What do you like to eat?” She was curious herself. The cheery baker would watch as the nervous man over looked the menu. “They have just about everything thing, though...” she gave a giggle and pointed to her bag. “I have the sweets covered for later.” They young baker would smile as she would watch Obsidian walk over to the man and rub up against him. Her cat had an odd sense of when someone needed to be comforted. At least he always knew when Kelri needed him. “Please, let me know what you like.”

Between the waitress’ departure and Kelri’s questions, Luca had taken to practically cowering behind the menu in his hands. Though he appreciated the thought behind her words, the woman across from him… really wasn’t helping. “Uh…” He chanced a peek around the menu, just in time to catch her grin, but quickly retreated afterward. What was a good way to tell her he really didn’t want to be here and, no, she really didn’t have to buy him lunch or anything else…? Gods help me, he groaned inwardly, fighting the urge to bury his head in his arms. “I’m, ah… I’m not really that picky…” That sounded nicer than “I don’t even want to think about how expensive all this is”, right? Definitely nicer than “I usually just eat whatever I can get my hands on”. Right then. With a soft sigh, he continued scouring the menu. Something warm and soft pressed against his leg, and Luca glanced down to find Obsidian the cat staring back at him, much like he had earlier. His presence was a small comfort, but it helped. Unfortunately, it did not make his little dilemma magically disappear. After a while, finding few better options that weren’t side orders, the zero magi reluctantly conceded, “M-maybe just a salad…” With equal reluctance and the hope that that would be good enough to satisfy his companion, he set his menu aside, and fought the urge to shrink in his chair. An unconvincing smile was offered in a weak attempt at bolstering his supposed certainty in the choice. Kelri Anderson

Kelri smiled over at her new friend across the table. He seemed to be tongue tied of sorts, and seemed to be someone who didn’t quite understand how words worked at the moment. It was a bit amusing, but she really hoped she hadn’t offended him. Surely he would be able to find something he liked? If he didn’t she would just have to order some of her favorites. Kel was a firm believer in making sure people were satisfied.
Kelri grinned and tilted her head, leaning it on one hand and looking towards the new friend she had made. “Well I’m glad you aren’t picky! That means you can order whatever you want.” She would give a grin to the other person. “Everything is really good after all. I’m sure you will find something that catches your eye.” She smirked as he sighed and looked down at her own menu. It was pretty cheap after all, she wondered what he would choose.
Obsidian would offer a simple meow, and a head nuzzle against the man’s leg, meant to comfort the anxious person. Cats had weird senses like that and Obsidian was awfully good at it. Kelri on the other hand could sometimes be a little dense. She understood that Luca was uncomfortable, but she didn’t really understand why. Instead of pushing the matter Kelri gave a nod and focused on how to make Luca feel better. She would nod as Luca ordered, “Sounds good! A salad is a wonderful starter.” She smirked, “Later we can get a full lunch.” Hopefully that would make him feel better. Did he have an upset stomach?

Maybe he should just run for it. He could excuse himself to visit the restroom, and then crawl out a window or sneak through the back door… It would be incredibly rude, of course, but at least he’d be out. But Luca didn’t move, save for the occasional uncomfortable fidget, and once when he bent over to scratch sweet little Obsidian on the head. Then, as Kelri mentioned “starters” and a “full lunch”, the zero magi’s shoulders drooped considerably. There had to be more… why did there have to be more? Luca nearly whimpered at the thought, and suddenly found himself wrestling with the urge to finally speak up. He didn’t want to hurt the woman’s feelings or anything, but this… this was… “That’s really not necessary,” he managed to stammer at last, setting the menu aside as though it had begun to burn his fingers. “I-I mean, this is all a little much just for being found by your cat, don’t… don’t you think…?” Inwardly, Luca began to pray for strength and the ability to be just convincing enough. “Not that I don’t appreciate it, of course,” he added quickly, raising his hands in brief surrender. “I just don’t… it’s not… I…” And suddenly whatever defense he’d had prepared was gone, leaving Luca at a general loss for words. With a quiet wish to just sink into the ground and never reappear again, he ran his hands over his face with a soft moan. Why was this so hard…? Kelri Anderson

| ◀ | [attr="class","PrettyInPink"] Kelri could almost feel the awkwardness that was in her new friend’s façade. She was not really happy with the situation, and thought about what she could do to make it at least a little better. This restaurant really wasn’t his speed was it? That wasn’t good at all. A slow smile would crawl along her face.
Was that a whimper? The man across from her really wasn’t comfortable. At least obsidian seemed to be a little bit of help in these trying times. She had plans though. Once again, she would take up her mantle and try her hardest to make her new friend feel comfortable, something about her trying her best, and ultimately failing was not sitting well with the baker.
Kelri would tilt her head at her new friend’s words and purse her lips. So he was playing that game huh? The young woman would smirk. “I suppose you are right I guess.” She would give a little nod offering a smile to the man sitting across from her. “I understand Luca, I don’t want to cause you any harm.” Now was her chance.
“Tell you what,” Kelri would point over to the park again. “Why don’t you take Obsidian and I will meet you back at the park?” Her next words would be true, but she would just neglect to mention the entire truth. “My sister loves this place, and asked if I would pick up some stuff for her on the way out.” She would smile and nod, no need to tell her friend that she was going to be ordering more than Ana would ever eat. “I’ll bring out lunch over to the park when it comes out.” She would smile and tilt her head over at the man, “Would that make you feel better?”
It would get him out of the way so she could talk to their server, and the owners, if they were in, and devise her plan. Seeing as the owners were family friends she knew there would be no trouble. If Luca agreed, Kel would stand, and head off into the restaurant’s interior.
Approaching her waitress, she would smile and nod as she headed into the kitchen. It would be about twenty minutes before she would emerge from the restaurant with a variety of foods and a couple sets of drinks. This was normal for the Andersons, ordering a large amount of food at once, and expecting it to be done in the least amount of time possible. She had promised the restaurant the next chance at catering at a family event after all.
Walking over to the park, carrying two very large insulated bags, they almost looked like pizza delivery bags, but larger, she would smile as she approached the man who had her cat in custody. “Luca! Sorry it took so long!” She would grin as she set one bag down on the bench. “Ah, my sister always wants so much, she is a vegetarian, and prefers fresh food above all else.” Setting the other bag down in front of her friend, Kelri would take a moment to wipe the sweat from her forehead that had gathered. “The other bag is for you.”
If Luca was to investigate, he would see multiple boxes full of wonderful food in this insulated bag. The day was warm and she had been assured that she should keep the bags, so she had taken advantage of it. “You will find some salad mix, a few different types of pizza in there, Of course including their Mushroom Pizza with Havarti Cheese, Fresh Herbs, And White Truffle Oil, as well as some more dishes.” She would tilt her head with a smile. “There is also some grilled vegetable rigatoni, cauliflower man ‘n’ cheese, the restaurant’s really yummy toasted garlic butter ravioli with spinach, their famous pumpkin ricotta stuffed shells, and of course some pumpkin curry.” Kelri would offer a wink to the man. “I know these are all wonderful, and the portions are good too, my sis loves this stuff.” She would grin. “I’m partial to their baked asparagus with a wonderful balsamic butter sauce.”
Kelri wasn’t taking no on the food matter for an answer, “This should last you a while now.” She would bend down to play with her kitty, feeding a bit of salmon she had fetched from the kitchen on the way out. “Thanks for watching Obsidian, I appreciate it.”
