Ice and fire continued to battle one another as both sides fought to maintain their respective creations. The fire magi of the opposing group strained heavily to pour more and more flame into the twister and the ice wall finally began to show signs of weakening. Hairline cracks appeared throughout the entire length of the wall, large slabs of ice sloughed off, and billowing clouds of steam hissed away into the air. Eventually, the wall collapse entirely and the tornado continued its path of destruction. Cars flip on to one another and debris was flung in every direction. Large shards of glass began to circle the burning pillar like a gigantic buzz saw.
Dehlia’s runic car door was buried beneath a rain of ice and debris, utterly useless against the magic. Perhaps if the rune had been applied directly to the wall via other means it would’ve had greater effect. Sadly, it wasn’t and the twister passed it by as though it were never there at all and was now barreling towards the group at speed, more dangerous than ever before.
The heat would become unbearably intense and the violent, angry winds would sweep them up to be diced and incinerated. That is, of course, unless they acted quickly and either ran for their lives or thought of another plan. In either case, the danger bearing down on them was as real as it was potentially lethal. Even now, shards of glass were passing dangerously close to their forms and the heat was growing in intensity.
Was this to be their end?

[attr="class","trying"] [attr="class","we1"] [attr="class","lost1"]You did not break me
I'm still fighting for peace
Me and my elastic heart [attr="class","rise"] [attr="class","dying1"] [attr="class","mouths1"] There was so many horrible words forming in the priest mind but he was no idiot. He could see his ice wall was failing. There would be no point in holding it any longer. As soon as he noticed the first crack he stopped immediately and looked around his surroundings. What could he do? Where could he go? He wasn’t about to die today. He had some to live for afterall. But then it occurred to him that he was in a goddamn city and cities had sewers and the sewers lead out of the city or to a water source. It only took a moment for him to scan and see a manhole that was actually in front of Edwin. Holy shit, someone must of loved him today. ”Forget this and follow me. Im done with this tornado.” Rushing quickly he would rip the manhole cover up as it thankfully wasn’t locked down. Just a quick turn and shove and it was open. He didn’t even wait to see if the others followed or not and wither they decided to follow or not, dropped down into the man whole with water beneath him. He wasn’t about to take time with a ladder. As soon as his feet hit the nasty water below he took off running, ”Cover that damn hole too! Once you are in!” Kaveri didn’t even look back as he assumed they would more then likely follow after him if they where smart. He knew they would be too/.The sewers where gonna be their best bet out of here and it would take them away from the riot above. Still, Kaveri took out his sword just incase. As much as a peace loving priest he was it was about time he let go of it and did what he had to too survive. At least now, they would also be traveling away from the tornado, underground. Now the big question was figuring out which tunnel would take him where. He knew eventually it would lead to an outsource like all sewers and waterways. It was just getting there now in one piece.
