| Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart | Kelri knew that Jasper wasn’t an idiot he was just a stubborn asshole sometimes. It looked like the priest was perturbed a little, but she kept her mouth shut about it if he did. She wasn’t going to push the subject if he wasn’t. The baker was more than certain that the ghost that was her brother was not helping his case. Gods, she could only hope that she was getting through to her brother. He was sometimes a bit dense but she really did want the best for him. The best for him meant for him to move on to another life, become someone else, live again. The baker wasn’t certain what was waiting for her in the next life, but she was more than certain that she wouldn’t remain on the mortal plane for longer than she had to. She awaited a new life that the God of Life would bring to her. She wanted nothing more for herself, and could only wish the same for her brother. It was time for him to move on. Now if only he would listen. There was a chill in the air of the kitchen in the bakery. It wasn’t normal, but it was evident that her brother was here. Kelri was someone who was a firm believer in warmth. The warmth that baked goods could bring not only to people but to life in general. So she believed that when Jasper moved on he would feel a warmth, a feeling of contentment, and a way back into the living. She felt a chill on the side of her hair and leaned into it, knowing that it was her brother. “I love you, but you must go.” The words were whispered, meant only for her brother to hear. She knew he could hear her, but she also knew that he was here with her. How painful it must be for him. Kelri would watch in awe as the tiny magi started to talk to who she assumed was Jasper. The way that he was talking to him, the shift in the air and temperature and the way that things kept hitting the floor she knew that Jasper was communicating back with the tiny magi. What power had Tatara bestowed upon this mortal magi to give him the ability to not only see, but communicate as well with the dead. She would nod as the magi spoke to her. “Please let him find peace in his next life.” It was partly a prayer and partly a request to the God of Life. She didn’t want him to suffer any more than he already had. She watched as the magi nodded in another direction and she would follow suit. Looking on she sighed in relief as she felt the warmth come back into the world around her. Finally, her brother was at peace. Finally, he would find happiness and she was ever so relieved. With it being her fault for his death in the first place she knew that this was a burden that was finally lifted. Slumping downwards Kelri would fall into a pile on the floor, partly in sadness and partly in relief. Now, now she couldn’t stop the tears. She couldn’t stop them from falling in a way that she knew was something that had been waiting. She had cried before, but now she was wailing, paying no attention to the magi that was in the bakery with her. Relief. Grief. Kelri was feeling an overwhelming amount of emotions as she cried looking around her kitchen. There were so many things to replace, so many things to make, so many things she had to do. The woman couldn’t do any of them now, but she could cry. The baker would cry until the tears stopped until she would look up at the tiny magi numb, her eyes emotionless and her fingertips clenching into her hands. “Thank you.” The woman was relieved and her brother was gone, all thanks to this magi. This magi that did what she could not. “May Tatara bless your soul and Nevyne bless your dreams.” The magi deserved her thanks, and she would give it if she could. It had just dawned on her that the magi had said something about doing him proud. That didn’t quite make any sense, but she supposed none of this night had made sense. “Proud?” She looked down. “Forgive me, I do not even know your name, but there was nothing I did tonight that could have caused you to be proud.” Really, it was the magi who had done all the work.

{ } It seemed like it took forever for Jasper to finally move on and once he seemed hesitantly satisfied he would give his sister one last look before finally leaving with the wisp. Tatara stood there for a long moment all while making sure Jasper was going away, for good. He was tired of Jasper and his annoying habits. With small hands on his hips he would let out a content sigh at last. "Finally, he has moved on." It had taken him forever to even get Jasper to hold still long enough to speak with---and longer to figure out how to make him move along. But now that the job was done he was at ease. "I'll have to admit I would never be able to get him to move on his own without your help, Kelri. It is much appreciated. You have no idea how hard it is to get ghost to follow me sometimes." He stated with a small stretch of his arms. With a small yawn he would finally remove the apron and fold it up to be put away on the counter. His tiny wings fluttered behind his back as if they too needed a good stretch. Once he was finished with his polite folding he would then walk straight up to Kelri. A bright smile on his face as he took her hand within both of his. "You did well. I look forward to seeing what you can do for me in the future." But then, something just occurred to him she didn't know who he was, oh dear. Well, he supposed he could tell her about himself now that the job was done. "I'm Tatara." MADE BY VEL OF GS

| Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart | Kelri would wait quietly for her brother to leave and the chill in the air to disappear. It would be a while, as she knew her brother wasn’t going to go easily, but she was willing to wait. It was time for him to move on, and time for her to get some relief. She wanted the best for him, and to be reincarnated as a much more peaceful person. That would be the life she would wish for him. As the words were uttered from the tiny magi child Kelri would give a soft smile. “I can only hope he finds happiness in the next life.” She would smile as she regarded the magi child. “I’m glad I was able to be of at least a tiny bit of help in assisting his passage into the next cycle of his soul’s life and reincarnation stage.” She would watch as the tiny magi stretched. She herself felt herself sigh in relief, it was if all the bones in her body relaxed at once as she shifted down onto the floor. Today was exhausting. This entire scenario was exhausting. She would look up at the magi with a grin and say. “Thank you again for the help. I don’t know what I would have done if he had stayed.” She would be at a loss of ideas, words and thoughts on the matter entirely. She smiled as she watched the tiny magi fold his apron, how polite! That was awesome of him to do so and she was about to say as much when he began to speak again. “What I can do for you in the future?” Wasn’t this going to be a onetime thing? She respected people who had been given the gifts of Tatara the life bringing, but she wasn’t one of them. “What do you mean? I’m just a baker.” The human didn’t have any clue what he was talking about. Wait. He was who? “W…what?” Immediately Kel began bowing from her sitting position, and refused to look at the tiny mag---- GOD that was in HER bakery. “I’m so sorry my brother gave you trouble Bringer of Life, Caretaker of Souls, Divine Cultivator of Lives…” This was not good. What had Jasper gotten himself into arguing with a god? That wasn’t a good thing at all. Nope. Not in the slightest. “I will do anything you wish of me, Soul Reaper.” Her voice had taken on a trembling tone, and one that was of the utmost reverence. She didn’t wish to offend the god of life and death anymore. That would not bode well for the baker.

{ } He wasn’t sure who was more thrilled with Jaspers acceptance and departure, him or Kelri. Both had their own particular reasons for wanting to do their own versions of an Irish jig, that he was certain. He was very much so going to partake in the divine art of eating peaches underneath his tree for the next three days and do nothing. His wisp could do the work for him as he could just relax, right? Maybe. If he was lucky. Regardless of that fact he merely smiled up at the young human finding her words precious and adorable. She was a kind soul and the God felt a bit of pride well up inside his tiny body. He certainly had picked the best human to represent him now hadn’t he? Truly, he looked forward to her works in his name in the near future. It had been so long since he had an official priestess and he supposed it was about time he had one too. Now, maybe Nevyne would get off his back somewhat? Doubtful. But hey, he could at least hope for the best! Tatar would chuckle lightly at her with amusement. ”I don’t know what I would of done if he remained. I suppose pull him by his ear kicking and screaming.” Because that had been an option but one he didn’t like to take honestly. His chuckle turned into a snicker and that snicker into a belly jiggling laughter. ”Just a baker? I would say you are hardly that my dear. You are now a baker with a gift! A baker of Tatara!” Not actually her title but hey, he did love her baking skills! ”Or more fancy like, my Priestess.” He offered her a wide and rather charming smile. Alas, she was still apologizing. My, my, he had to fix that really and she really seemed to know every name to call him. It was quite charming. Not many people could say all those titles in one go. His laughter subsided into a rather deep chuckle which, considering his size, was a bit different. The man that stood before Kelri though was anything but tiny as he once had been. Before her stood Tatara in all his Godly glory. With shrunken horns, long wild mane, and clothed only in what appeared to be a long skirt like drape he looked quite--well--wild. He looked so different then his smaller form and that pot belly it was replaced with a lean form that had no trace of over eating on peaches. With his hands still holding on to her own he gave them a small squeeze of joy. ”Anything, you say? How sweet of you. Well, for the first order of business let’s just stick with Tatara. No need for fancy titles.” He mused. Note: Pfff, you're good but oh lookie he isn't an Imp. OH MY! MADE BY VEL OF GS

| Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart | Okay so maybe Kelri and Tatara both were happy with her brother passing peacefully. It wouldn’t be surprising given the amount of pain and annoyance her brother had put them through, both in life and now in death apparently. Hopefully, this would be a relaxing time now that her brother was finally gone. Kelri was a bit shocked that she could now properly grieve. She would offer up her signature smile to the imp that had inhabited her kitchen. Today had certainly been a journey, and to be honest she was looking forward to going home, drinking some wine, and relaxing in a bubble bath that smelled like strawberries and mint. Was… was this person laughing at her? Why? She had only spoken the truth and she might not have understood what was going on, but she didn’t think that she had said anything that was worth laughing about. Quietly she listened to the imp’s explanation. Blinking, she really was confused about all of this, she would tilt her head. “Priestess? I haven’t received any formal training, aren’t there some more qualified to accept that gift?” Besides, she had a bakery to run after all. Being a priestess would be quite… taxing she assumed. “You have entire temples dedicated to you!” This really was quite absurd. The imp in front of her might have been a god, but he wasn’t making much sense right now. Oh no, was it the god of madness in disguise? Was this really a plague on her household? Her face went pale as she kept bowing. It wouldn’t do to make the god of madness mad at her. She could not deal with yet another trial of the godly sorts today. “Are… Are you sure?” If it really was the god of life, Kelri wanted to make sure he knew what he was doing. She wasn’t the likely choice for the job and she had a hard time understanding why she was chosen. Kelri glance up at the enormously large man in front of her? Wait a minute, where did the imp go? She blinked as the voice that came out of the man was the same as the imp that she had been talking to before. Was this another form of the god of life? Kelri would sit, crossed legged and look up at the man, whom apparently was now shirtless and talking to her. Wait, why was a God Hot??? What was this? She didn’t understand and almost felt like crying given the situation, Kelri would blink before tilting her head, “What do you need my lord?” She would lean forward, eyes looking up at him subdued. At his answer, Kelri would give a small nod, “Yes Lord Tatara, whatever you wish.” She would answer simply and honestly to any questions or demands that he had. Oh, gods, she was speaking with a shirtless hot god (look at those abs) after she banished her brother to the next life! What was her day right now? The helpless baker didn’t even know.

{ } With a job well done Tatara felt rather proud of himself. One soul had been sent off properly and he gained one priestess. This was just too perfect for him right now. So perfect that he ignored her words and merely waved them away. ”Ah, don’t worry about it you’ll be fine.” Kelri was a smart girl and he was positive she could figure out how to go about dealing with souls and letting him know when one was ready to go. It wasn’t too hard, at least, he didn’t think so. Smiling brightly with hands on hips he stood there in all of his glory. It was true he did have temples dedicated to him and people that worshiped him daily but so did every other god. It wasn’t really a big thing to be honest, well, to him at least as he really didn’t need all of those things. Again, he waved away her words. He didn’t particularly care for the Lord bit but he simply smirked at her. ”Tatara, if you please.” He would then chuckle at her before taking a few steps backwards. ”Oh, just keep an eye out for souls and spirits. You’ll take notice of them a bit more as you progress. It’s nice having a helping hand. Just let me know if you see anything that needs my attention, Kelri.” With hands behind his back he would twist on his heels, starting his way out of the bakery. ”I’ll be around.” Looking over his shoulder he offered the girl a little wink. The poor thing was blushing so hard at seeing him this way that he found it…kind of amusing. Most people didn’t give him that kind of reaction and he would fully admit that he enjoyed it. Maybe he will check on her again sometime in the future in this manner. Note: End? I cant think of anything else off hand. MADE BY VEL OF GS

| Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart | Well, this imp seemed to have more confidence in her than she did, and honestly? The baker didn’t really understand it. She was just glad she could have helped in this little way but she didn’t like the idea that she would have to help more. That really didn’t seem like a good idea, given that it meant she would have to interact with more ghosts. Then again, it would be something to her if she could, at the very least help them find peace and move on in their life. The baker would have been sitting with a quizzical look on her face as she debated all fo the ins and outs of this conversation and interaction. Nope, it really was too weird. Especially if the person in front of her actually was a god like he was claiming. This entire thing was absolutely bonkers and she didn’t know how to deal with it properly. Other than, one could guess the sputtering and disbelief. The girl may have been a smart-ish girl, but this was way beyond her. Gods weren’t supposed to interact with mortals. The surveyor o dreams had taught her that much, and she was more than willing to let it remain that way. Tatara seemed to have other plans though, and Kelri wasn’t quite sure where this would take her, but it should be interesting. For now, though, she just wanted to go home and take a big bubble bath with a giant glass of wine. That was the best course. The baker would remain silent, only nodding in response as the God walked out the front door of her bakery. Screw it, she could clean up in the morning. She was going to have a bath, wine and go straight to bed. Today had been exhausting.
