"My Guiding Moonlight" It was a gentle stretch of dirt path, flanked and surrounded by beautiful, marvelous trees. That was what made it all the more beautiful for his song to reverberate, carrying the echo wide while the tender violin's strings answered back at Miki's touch with a sorrowful, mourning cry. His feet touched along the grass, right along the edges of the path where the weeds and overgrowth barely touched. Holding the violin via the chin rest, the instrument leveled and timbered with his own slim shoulder as he fingered and went along playing deeply into the waning daylight. Dusk would soon settle in, leaving Miki alone in the wilderness, which for the moment suited him just fine. Pulling a small case out of his pocket, Miki noted that he had enough Uppers to keep himself sated for a bit longer and then he would need to return to Haven. The lake was going to be beautiful tonight. "I should probably go swimming! The water should be around perfect temperature this time of year!"
Note: Schindler's List For reference of what Miki kinda sounds like.

It was not often that Luca ventured as far as the Arecia Woods in his travels. More often than not, they were well out of the way of the routes he traveled, and simple curiosity was far from a good enough reason to wander in. Every now and then, however, a need to visit sprung up, usually to gather certain items. Today had been one such case, and had mostly been spent foraging for the plants he needed to replenish his stock of salves and other remedies. He’d even gotten lucky, and stumbled upon a few berry bushes to pick from so he could add to his food supply. Now that his successful day in the forest was over, he stood with his pants and sleeves rolled up, calf-deep in the waters of Loch Périlleux while he worked to wash some of the dirt and sweat from a few changes of clothes that had been in desperate need of it. His tail drifted absently back and forth through the water while he worked, let free for the lack of other people around, and a wordless tune hummed quietly in his throat. Luca was in the middle of dealing with a particularly stubborn patch of mud in one of his shirts when the music of another reached his ears, distant at first, but gradually growing closer. Curious, the zero magi looked up to find a young man with a violin and… blue hair? Another magi? Just in case, he tucked his tail against one of his legs, so it was better out of sight, and ran a quick hand over his bangs to ensure they were still in place over his horns. It never hurt to be careful, after all. Still, despite his misgivings, he couldn’t help but pause in his work to enjoy the music being played. Sad and soft, the melody was practically haunting, but mesmerizing all the same. Beautiful, Luca thought to himself, with the faintest of smiles forming on his features. As the other male drew closer, he raised his hand to give a small wave before turning back to his laundry. (ooc: I, uh... I got excited.) Mikaiah Lupei

"My Guiding Moonlight" The world seemed to be at peace here. Miki could feel it all around him and it showed in his playing and the sounds playing off his treasured violin. Absently, Miki kept his step in-sync with each note and jogged occasionally while stringing along playful, melancholic tune. His shoes beat up small bits of dirt and mud as he did so and sweat also poured off his brow and his notes became ever more controlled and balanced. He poured his stress and heart into his bowing arm, fingering the strings lightly and pushing for a higher and more somber pitch. The violin then suddenly rose into the air and Miki's chin tilted to accompany it, doing an eclectic spin motion like he was on a grand stage before pulling the bow back across simultaneously for a quickstep to end the theater and rather oblique vibrato. It felt as close as Miki could get to euphoria; he was high off of Uppers and felt like he had hit the perfect balance. In his haste and absence, Miki noticed that he was nearing the centered rose bushes much sooner so he must've been in his own head for at least several minutes. He knew at least that was where this path was leading. "I probably should've paid closer attention to the time... I forgot where I was." Putting the violin on his back for a few moments, Miki took stock of a few landmarks he could easily recognize. If he was further down the pass then the rose bushes by the bobbing tree, then he shouldn't be far away from the lake. Miki craned his neck, scanning the left and right until a slight splashing noise alerted him to another presence somewhere off past the outgrowth of weeds and herbs. He crushed a few berries underfoot, trying his best not to cause a stir if the other presence was an animal or another Magi who had wandered off from Haven. Not that this place was very well-known, but it was possible considering this area had plenty of moisture in the air that meant good chances to find a few rare plants. "Excuse me! Is anyone there!" he called in a rather loud voice, enough to be heard for at least a few meters away. Emerging from between the branches of two graceful, unblemished oak trees, Miki easily spotted a figure a few inches wadded into the lake. As Miki got closer he could also note slim and slender bodily features and delicately sculpted facial features. Curiosity carried him forward, coming to an end at the side of the lake where his shoes were beside the edge of shore. "Hiya!" Miki greeted courteously with a short bow, "Pardon, I didn't expect to meet someone else out here.""Mind if I ask your name?"
Note: XD I still need to fully get used to playing Miki, but so far this is awesome. I've never played violin though so hopefully I managed to pull it off well. "Speech Here"

He… hadn’t been noticed, it seemed. But that was fine. Honestly, he probably shouldn’t have expected otherwise, absorbed as the blue-haired man seemed to be in his music. It was likely for the better, anyway, since it meant he didn’t have to hide himself, and could continue his washing in peace. Even so, Luca found himself rather disappointed when the playing stopped, presumably because the musician had wandered off, since he could no longer see him the next time he paused to glance up. Ah well… At least he could relax now… Or not. The sudden, loud call behind him nearly made Luca leap into the air, and the shirt he’d been washing slipped quickly from his fingers to splash into the water and sink to the mud at the bottom. Forgetting the item for the moment, he turned quickly, just in time to see the violinist emerging from behind a pair of trees. It took a slow, steadying breath before he was able to properly respond, and quell the urge to back away as the other stepped forward. “Um… hi…” Luca greeted in turn, trying on a faint smile that bordered on unconvincing. “It-it’s fine. I didn’t really think anyone else would be out here either…” Or that he would have been snuck up on, but that was no one’s fault but his own. Stooping to retrieve his dropped shirt, the zero magi shook the muck that had gotten stuck to it away, then laid it out carefully on the shore, next to several other articles in varying stages of drying. My name…? He glanced back over briefly. “Oh, ah… My name is Luca,” he answered, straightening up. That should be the last of it… “… What about you? Er, your name?” Mikaiah Lupei (ooc: Seems like you did fine to me. :3 )

"My Guiding Moonlight" Miki settled down by the lake, watching Luca with a half-impish eye and sizing up the man as he stood to attention nervously and meekly, a reaction that garnered a slight chuckle from Miki. By comparison, Miki was a little shorter and more boyish while Luca seemed to have more of a ghostly, balanced grace to him. Miki, craning his neck at a slight ripple, also spotted the slight tail of movement behind Luca's legs twitching slightly over the water. The Salamander Magi grinned casually while scooting closer to the lake with his legs still jiggling from the influence of the uppers he had taken earlier, though it was starting to feel a bit strange. For a moment, he respected the quiet as his mind was observing and whirring underneath, invoking the magic deep within himself, "I'm Mikaiah, though I go by Miki if you don't mind. Don't be so nervous." he whispered telepathically, using his magic reach out and gently prod Luca's mind with a tender, warm pulse. Once the message had finished, Miki chuckled silently to himself and gazed out over the cresting waters past where Luca was washing up and just absorbed the moment as it passed by. The gust picked up for a few crisp, pleasant moments, breezing over Mikaiah's softening skin It would be a shame to let such a good time pass him by and the waters were looking more and more inviting. He wouldn't wade far into it, he told himself while taking off his shirt and laying the violin down along with it. Much like the other, he rolled the hem of his pants so as not to get them wet while removing his blackened shoes and laying them too on the ground. Treading through the water a few feet away from Luca, the Magi didn't flinch and slowly waded into the waters until he was almost knee deep. The coolness was refreshing up against his ankles, icily biting a little bit against his ankle as he stepped through sludgy mud covering the bottom.

While the stranger settled down, Luca remained standing at stiff attention, careful to keep his front facing the other at all times, especially when he started craning his neck. Had he seen? If so, he didn’t seem to be reacting poorly, which was good, but he couldn’t quite quell the feeling that he really should have put his tail back earlier. So distracted was he by his own disquiet that he didn’t immediately notice the musician’s shaking legs, and he nearly leapt out of his skin when a voice that definitely did not belong there sounded in his head. Several moments passed in which Luca attempted to recover, blinking almost as rapidly as his heart beat. Then, eventually, “… Oh.” Much of his previous tension fled in an instant, bringing his shoulders to slump and his tail to relax into a more normal position, away from his legs. A wan smile appeared on his features. Another magi, then… “Nice to meet you, Miki,” he breathed, wading back toward the shore. Once he was back on dry land, he plopped down onto the grass, curling his legs toward himself and wrapping his arms around them. His eyes were kept carefully averted while the blue-haired magi disrobed, and remained so until he had wandered a short distance away, into the water. Then and only then did Luca risk a look up, taking in a lithe build, amphibian hand and… was that a tail? “… What brings you all the way out here?” Luca asked after a while, tentatively breaking the companionable silence that had settled between them. He didn’t know of any nearby settlements, and he hadn’t been dressed like the wandering type… maybe a vacationer from one of the cabins in the area…? Mikaiah Lupei

"My Guiding Moonlight" "Pleasure to meet you as well Luca." he said aloud as he removed his shirt and began to play around a little bit. It didn't bother him too much that Luca still seemed a bit on-edge, but the meek demeanor had subsided and was altogether a lot more friendly now. "I live out in Haven so I came out here for the peace and quiet where I can get the chance to practice my violin a little bit and swim. This lake just happens to be one of my favorite spots to sit down."Having himself out in front of Luca made Miki feel a tinge of his own self-awareness, though it wasn't as terribly an uncomfortable feeling for him. The small stub of a tail protruded slightly out of his body, the appendage conservatively wrapped around his left thigh. It seemed like things were warm enough between them that the silence was no longer so awkward; rather it seemed quite brilliant in a way. Just the two of them enjoying a pensive, thoughtful, and natural peace like two esteemed friends. Miki didn't mind it and it seemed that Luca was more comfortable that way as well. They gave each other their space, not imposing on the other's solace as they went about their business. The Salamander Magi wadded and splashed a bit in the lake, cresting through the waters without getting his pants too wet. Staring at a curious patch of light or a bug floating above water, Miki just simply enjoyed the feeling of water on his skin while taking occasional glances backwards as the moments passed on by, "Mind if I ask the same question of you? You don't seem like you've ever been to Haven in fact..." he paused for a moment and studied Luca's reaction as keenly as he could, "I'd guess you had lived in another city at one point. Are you a traveler or looking to be a merchant maybe?"To his diserning eye, both seemed like fair guesses to him judging from his own impression and the clear sense of unease that Luca had shown him earlier. Having a trade skill would be the best case scenario, though that didn't seem like the case. "Hmmm Perhaps you're looking for something far out here then?" he puzzled, moving his cleft hand over his chin before turning away and reaching outward. Miki held his cleft hand aloft, spreading the bony digits aside and flexing them with the water curiously. "It's pretty noisy back home. Whenever I get the chance, I like to take my practice out here and go for a swim. Would you care to join me?" Miki assumed simpler stance, holding his ground and assuming a friendly, though readied stance. "Think you have the time to roughhouse with me a little?"

“Haven…?” Luca stared, wondering if he’d heard properly. Haven. As in the elusive sanctuary city for magi. It… it actually existed? Really and truly? He’d heard plenty of stories and rumors, of course, but having never been able to seek out the place itself had put its existence in slight doubt. Getting lost in the woods was not something he could exactly afford to do, after all. But now, maybe… maybe there was a little hope to cling to, if Miki spoke truthfully. “I see,” he murmured quietly, shifting his gaze to stare out over the water. It was a nice area, he had to agree. Silence ensued for a while, save for the splashing of the salamander magi. Every now and then, Luca’s gaze would stray back his way, only to quickly flick away again when he caught Mikaiah looking back, towards his still-drying laundry, or the trees… Anywhere else, really. “Hm?” He looked up from the patch of grass he’d absently been picking at and shook his head. “No, I… I’ve never been to Haven.” If that fact hadn’t been obvious enough already, it certainly was now. Luca shrugged, and continued. “I stay out in Dagos a lot, and Camlorn… but mostly I just travel. I, uh, I work as a healer, so I try to go where I might be needed…” Had it been that obvious…? Or was this more telepathy at work? Or… no, he didn’t think the magic worked that way. It was growing difficult not to stare at Miki’s strangely cleft hand, but somehow he managed. “I came out here looking for certain plants that are useful in my line of work,” the younger magi explained, nodding slightly. Good with his guessing, this one was. Even so, he could feel himself beginning to really relax… At least until roughhousing was brought up. “Um…?” Luca fidgeted in place, scrambling for a decent excuse to deny the request. Even as a child, he’d never been much of one for rough-and-tumble play, and being asked out of the blue like this sent him spiraling back toward awkwardness. “I-if it’s alright, I’d rather… not…” Smooth. He could almost give sandpaper a run for its money, couldn’t he? “Sorry…” Mikaiah Lupei

"My Guiding Moonlight" Though disappointed that Luca didn't want to roughhouse a little bit, Miki chuckled as he lightened his and went back to splashing around a bit. It wasn't extremely surprising that Luca had never been to Haven, but a tinge of interest popped up when Luca confirmed. Cooped up in Haven, Miki did often wonder about traveling around to share his music. The fancy had caught his attention a couple times and it wasn't like he had no yearning for it. That caught his attention and Miki couldn't help but look a bit red in the face as he walked back to the shore to sit alongside the wandering Magi. "It's alright, I don't mind at all. More importantly though, what has traveling as a healer been like? You have healing magic too or do you just use herbs?"He reached out again with his magic, catching a stare from Luca out of the corner of his eye and a subtle resonating feeling resulting from such touch. Whenever he used his telepathy, there was usually a slight 'itch' that he got from the opposite person. Maybe it was just him and his sensitivity to these things, but from some Magi in Haven he usually talked to gave off a sense that was dulled or maybe best described as blurred. It was like they were magically resisting or tuning him out actively when he spoke in this fashion. When he had reached out before to Luca, he hadn't felt any resistance and perhaps had even scared him. It was comfortable just for the two of them though; sitting alone "Haven is a pretty peaceful place, though maybe not what you'd expect though. It's through Arecia and a little further deeper in. I could guide you if you wanted me to." he imparted, figuring it wouldn't be good to say such things aloud. "I'm interested to know what you do for healing. I can do a bit of healing myself and know a tiny bit about herbs." Miki laid on his back as he stated, watching Luca periodically. It seemed they both had gotten comfortable enough that Miki stopped hiding the times he was looking, staring a little bit when his attentions wandered with their conversation. Miki's expression was kind-hearted and honestly curious, looking over Luca's reactions studiously. "Did you know if you mix this rare flower found in Arecia with a few other herbs, you can make some good incense? I've tried it once before and the incense does a bit to help me focus. It also makes a good aphrodisiac." he teased as he began to sit up and feel his muscles tense. In the moments they had been talking, Miki had forgotten the drugs he had brought and only now realizing it. The uppers were wearing off and Miki felt his body's fatigue and weakness start to intensify. It had begun with shaking a few moments earlier, but now it felt like his body was on the edge of the oncoming crash. He tried to move up and away from the water, but he was already fading away and soon faceplanted forward into the water; gurgling slightly as his focus and consciousness fainted away.

There was something about the redness in Miki’s cheeks that didn’t seem quite right. If he had been running around a lot, he might have expected it, but he’d barely been exerting himself at all. And then there was the odd dilation of his pupils, and an odd shakiness to his movements… Something was off here, and it bothered him. “It’s… difficult, sometimes,” Luca answered, distracted. At the moment, most of his attention was set on watching the other magi, and trying to glean what he could from the symptoms he could see. “I use magic when I can, but…” Maybe he should try getting him to sit down, at least? Or— no, he was already coming back to sit down. Good. “Sometimes people don’t want me to, or there are too many witnesses for it to be safe…” He tensed a little as Miki’s voice sounded in his head again, but the overall reaction wasn’t as bad as the first time. It would take some getting used to, this telepathy. Quite a bit of it. The offer posed helped to distract Luca from the odd feeling of it, though, and even drew out a slight, hopeful smile. “I’d like that.” A guide to Haven… to true safety and a place to really belong, at last. It was almost too good to be true. Every moment he didn’t spend watching Miki for any worsening of his apparent condition, Luca spent looking out over the water, or back toward the forest. While his worry had subsided somewhat, now that the salamander magi was laying down, it likely wouldn’t disappear entirely unless the symptoms did. Perhaps he should ask about—? “Well, um…” he began, thoughts interrupted by further questioning. “I use a lot of herbs and natural remedies, and sometimes magic, like I said… When I can get my hands on them, more modern medicines help a lot, too.” Although they usually only consisted of painkillers, and the occasional anti-bacterial medication. Everything else tended to be well beyond his reach, outside the clinic in Dagos. Luca glanced back, thinking this flower the other described sounded interesting… until he reached the last part about its use as an aphrodisiac. “I-is there now?” He asked, bowing his head to hide the faint flush creeping into his cheeks. “No, I didn’t—“ Miki collapsed, effectively cutting him off and sending his thoughts into a brief frenzy. “Miki?!” Luca scrambled forward, dragging his limp body out of the water as quickly as he could, and rolling him onto his back once they were further up on dry land. Shoot shoot shoot! He should have said something, should have asked if he was alright. Idiot! Quickly, Luca checked for pulse and breathing, and was immensely relieved to find that both were still fairly steady. He moved on to his backpack, picked out a bottle of smelling salts, and returned to the salamander magi’s prone figure at a kneel. Then, leaning forward, he uncapped the bottle and waved it under Miki’s nose to try reviving him. Mikaiah Lupei

"My Guiding Moonlight" His lucid, failing vision fell just as he did. The fatigue built up and for a moment or two, Miki tasted the muddied water over his tongue just as the crash took him. He'd tried to power himself to stand, though such effort only exasperated the effect and drove him face-forward instead of backwards. He was like a rag doll staring through half-lidded and hazy eyes. Flitting over the bare edges of consciousness, everything falling out of sync as he only barely heard the outcry of his name. Within moments after collapsing, Miki felt himself hauled out backwards and onto the ground beside. For several nauseous seconds, his vision was dotted and confusion filled the front and back corners of his mind. He registered open air, taking a few uneven intakes of air until it was broken by something being waved in front of his nostrils. With his senses somewhat distorted at that time, the Magi had no time to admire the fresh herb-like perfume or describe it since he immediately had a sharp whiff of it. One thing was for certain, he felt definitely awake after that. It felt like his lungs and nose were suddenly on fire and stuffed. A harsh coughing fit ensued and Miki would swear he felt his heart rate suddenly skip several beats. My reflex, Miki rolled over to lay on his stomach and wretch a little bit. "W-What!? What the--" he gasped aloud in confusion. His muscles were still shaking and weak, even as his gaze and vision came back into focus and Luca kneeling over him was the first thing he saw. The realization was slow in coming, only hitting the impish Magi once his brain had readjusted and the blank stare upon his face vanished. "I-I'm... sorry Luca. I didn't mean to scare you like that." he tried to get up, though was still seeing spots over his vision. "I'm very sorry Luca-san... I usually take the uppers to help me relax and focus with my music..." he defended aptly with one raised hand. His arms and extremities seemed to recover a bit, though Miki knew that crashing at this point came hard and came swiftly. His head was already rolling dizzily until Miki moved about and tried to use the nearest thing he could grab as a pillow.

Awake again, if a little disoriented. Thank gods… But they weren’t quite out of the woods yet. With a quick return trip to his pack, Luca exchanged the smelling salts for a canteen of water before returning to Mikaiah’s side, reaching out to support the other magi in the event he needed to vomit. Fortunately, such did not appear to be the case, as he settled down again quickly enough. “It’s fine, Miki,’ he assured gently, keeping a careful watch on the other’s movements. A lolling head and somewhat glazed-over gaze suggested dizziness, but that was to be expected. “Don’t worry about it…” At the moment, worrying was his job, after all. Especially now that he had something of an explanation as to why the salamander magi had collapsed. Uppers… Though he said nothing just yet, Luca’s brows drew together in worry. He hadn’t seen many cases first-hand, but he’d heard quite a bit about how bad the crashes were for those who had taken the drug. And to use them so liberally… His thoughts were interrupted abruptly as Miki’s head found its way onto his lap, and for several moments afterward he remained stock still, uncertain of how else to react. Then, sighing, he worked to relax a little and offered the canteen to the other magi. “Here. It’s just water.” With any luck, it would help a bit. Shifting slightly into a more comfortably position, Luca let out a quiet sigh and rested a hand lightly on Miki’s shoulder. Mikaiah Lupei

"My Guiding Moonlight" The pained Magi snuggled in a little closer, still shaking and shivering from both weakness and cold. He laid on the ground while depending on Luca's reassuring touch to stop the ratcheting of his muscles and steady the headache that Miki knew was building up. He was wrong about his extremities and arms getting much better; as soon as his head started pulsing, he felt his body seemed to ache all over. It was the shitty feeling that Miki knew was coming. He would've begged for water to calm his parched throat had Luca not offered him the canteen. He took it into his hand and shakily delivered it to his mouth for several sips. The cool, soothing liquid definitely helped and before he knew it, Miki was slurping down most of the bottle's contents with much of it running down his chin and onto Luca's pants or the grass underneath his shoulders. "T-t-Thank y-you... Luca." His voice was still a little raspy, though the water vastly helped him from feeling completely dehydrated. He waited out the minutes, sitting beside Luca and quietly groaning and moaning from having to nurse his violently pounding headache. Five minutes turned into Twenty and from there he could hardly be bothered to keep track of passing time. Occasionally, he would try to talk or telepathically reach out to his caretaker though the effort and strain went beyond him for minutes out of time. Miki rubbed his head and tucked his knees in closer to his chest, lying in fetal position for at least a minute as the crash came to its most serious portion and left him momentarily paralyzed from both the headache and constant inability to keep himself still. He sweated from having to deal with the headache, having his eyes blur and hearing white noise coming from somewhere beyond the trees. His brain felt like a shattered mirror upon the floor while the pain continued to escalate. Luca's knee felt more and more comfortable with his head nestled closely against the fabric of the knee. He would reach and grip for his coat or anything he could reach in hopes of calming himself down and waiting for his body to come back to normal. "Luca... do you h-have a cloak... or something?" he requested meekly, hoping for anything he could use as a comfortable blanket. He shut his eyes and tuned out the rest of the world, concentrating mostly on the movements and involuntary shifting of Luca while letting pretty much everything else slip through his grasp. After what seemed like maybe an hour and a half, Miki felt like he would start to return to some sense of normal. Most of his faculties would at least recover somewhat and be functioning enough for him to speak normally again.

Every shift and shiver Miki made, Luca monitored, taking what stock he could of the crashing magi’s condition. Seeing he was in pain was easy— it was clearly etched into his features, and influenced each movement. Determining what to do about it was significantly less so. Deep blue eyes flicked to his pack, and he chewed his lip in thought. Would medication even help? Or would it make his drug-induced symptoms that much worse? He looked down again, watching quietly while the salamander guzzled water. That he spilled a good deal of it on his pants hardly caught his attention. To give a painkiller a shot, or simply ride out the crash…? After a moment, taking the canteen back once it had been mostly drained, he decided on the latter. As much as he hated leaving Miki in so much pain, it didn’t feel safe without information he did not have. Pursing his lips, Luca screwed the cap back onto the canteen, before returning his hand to the other’s shoulder to steady him through the ordeal. Later on, when he could, he made a note to find out more about Uppers and the effects and complications that came with as quickly as he could. Minutes passed, which eventually became half an hour, then a full one. Every groan and aching movement drew a fresh stab of worry and helplessness. Luca hated not knowing. Not doing anything. Several times, he considered going back on his decision, but uncertainty kept him in check, for better or worse. Absently, for lack of much else to do, he began rubbing his hand over Mikaiah’s upper arm, hoping weakly that the gesture provided at least a vague comfort. The motion stopped when Miki spoke again, quiet and weak. A cloak… “Yeah, hold on…” Leaning over carefully, so as not to jostle the other magi, Luca reached and dragged his backpack over to the two of them. A quick moment later, he’d pulled the blanket he slept under from within, and draped it over him. More time trickled by— twenty minutes? thirty?— and evening began to set in. With it, gradually, seemed to come a weakening of Miki’s crash. Hopeful, Luca glanced down, watching his features. “… How are you feeling?”Mikaiah Lupei

"My Guiding Moonlight" His mouth was lightly tingling and he still felt a little dehydrated, but he could slowly gain back some strength in his limbs. The warm, pleasant feeling from both the blanket and Luca's blithely touch made it almost too relaxing for him to want to get up. The moment passed though and Miki slowly began to rise, his shaking and shivering greatly diminished though still a bit weak. "Much better. Thank you for the blanket, Luca." he answered in a raspy voice, sitting up just as a bit of salted hair winnowed over his sweaty brow. He kept a hand on the ground by Luca, steadying himself a little. Luca appeared mellow or at least not angry at having to delay whatever his plans had been to help and comfort him. A pained sigh escaped him as his gaze leveled on Luca and a curious spark appeared in the corner of his eye. "Sorry for taking up all of your time Luca. I owe you one though... I didn't think my crash would hit so hard. If there is any way I can repay you, let me know." he apologized, scouting for those foul-smelling salts he had put up to his nose earlier, "I'm surprised you had those salts. They really helped a lot."As he spoke, Miki transferred over to sitting fully upright as his body seemed to be recovering from having an immediate shutdown.
